Holding on to hope
I try to hold on to hope, but unclenched
My hands are empty, bleary eyes
Gaze over a barren desert, my fingers reach out
To meet swirling emptiness and fall back, at a loss!
Where do I find that hope,
Which infused my being, not so long ago,
How do I guild this broken throne,
When its foundations have slipped away
How do I hold on to hope?
After love’s eternal river, has changed course
And now flows, away from me

Hope At It's Strongest
Hope is the thing that keeps us going
Hope is a poem without any words
Hope is what follows us everyday
Hope is the light that sparks our eyes
Hope that it will all get better

so I always know what to say

Is Hope Of
A word perhaps to me is hope
and hope you used to use a lot.
Without perhaps it being hope for naught.
A lot of hope about the things you are,
and you are all the things I hoped about.
You of hope at night the moon the light I write about.
And you write about the thoughts of hope,
and make them come to pass and write of that.
Ardently your mouth of hope, not going over there.
You who are without to be and I am crossing over.
