Great Greek Genius
Sophocles! Sophocles!
The Great Greek Genius
The master of his dramatic art
I wonder if such men as you
Still litter the earth with such art
That makes the world adore you
I am so sorry
The vibration of this literary lorry
Earths my mystic strength
To make better eulogy of your creative strength
But worry not
Sleep on in the earth and worry not
For forever you shall live
If men still live

Someone asked Sophocles, How do you feel now about sex Are you able to have a woman He replied, Hush man most gladly indeed am I rid off it all, as though I had escaped from a mad and savage master.
Give Me Strength
Im not one to complain
But things get heavy now and again
These obstacles leave
Little scars on the brain
Give me strength to carry on
Give me strength to carry on
I know this worrying
Makes my body ill
Stops me reaching the heights
Where we all belong
Give me strength to carry on
Give me strength I must feel strong
Give me strength to carry on
Give me strength I must feel strong
I will relax in your arms
Feel like a newborn babe
Ill be floating in space
Watching the world turn round
Give me strength to carry on
Give me strength I must feel strong
Give me strength to carry on
Feels like all my hope is gone
Relax in your arms
Like a newborn babe
Float in space
And watch the world turn
Problems seem to fade
Weightless in the air
No need to worry
Leave it behind
Im not one to complain
But thing get heavy now and again
Getting through these obstacles
Leave skas on the brain
You make me feel
There is no need to worry
It will be fine
Given some time

Forgiveness Is Not the Key
I look down at the people, I worry about their woes
I worry about their joys, their friends, their foes
I worry about their lives and the way they live it
I worry about their dreams and wonder if they’ll heed it
I worry about the tears I see running down their face
I worry about their lies they tell in this time and place
I worry about their truths that always hurt more
I worry about what they will definitely have in store
I look down at the people who never showed compassion
Who hate each other with the strongest passion
Who pushed me aside as though I were nothing
I wonder, do they care about anything?
I realise they treat each other as dirt
And they revel within all the hurt
Not one ever worried for me
I’m so glad that I can finally see
I refuse to worry or care about them and their petty ways
I will never again worry for their days
Because not one ever cared for me
Forgiveness is not the key
Not when I live life so lonely
I want to be loved only
For them I’ll never again feel woe
Because I’ll be nothing but their foe

Forever Now
I just heard that time will come to an end
In twenty thousand million years
I just heard the big bang
With my own ears
People sit and worry about the future
Live your life cos the now is all there is
Forever now
As the world goes round and round
One eternal moment in time
To live forever
Live forever now
If I live one hundred years in this life
It still dont give me too much time
And time is still the one thing
That money cant buy
People sit and worry about the future
Live your life cos the now its all there is
Forever now
As the world goes round and round
One eternal moment in time
To live forever
Live forever now
Holy grail, holy cow
I just wanna live forever now

Dont Worry Baby
Well its been building up inside of me
For oh I dont know how long
I dont know why
But I keep thinking
Somethings bound to go wrong
But she looks in my eyes
And makes me realize
And she says dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Everything will turn out alright
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
I guess I shouldve kept my mouth shut
When I started to brag about my car
But I cant back down now
I pushed the other guys too far
She makes me come alive
And makes me wanna drive
When she says dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Everything will turn out alright
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
She told me baby, when you race today
Just take along my love with you
And if you know how much I loved you
Baby nothing could go wrong with you
Oh what she does to me
When she makes love to me
And she says dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Everything will turn out alright
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby
Dont worry baby

God Hates This Heart
Whom have I in Heaven
But you
There is nothing on earth
I desire beside you
My heart and my strength
Many times they fall
But there is one truth
That always will prevail
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
And my portion forever
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
And my portion forever
Forever, forever
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
And my portion forever
Forever, forever
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
And my portion forever
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
God is the strength
Of my heart
And my portion forever
Forever, forever, forever
1989 Eugene Greco
My rewrite of the above song, God Is The Strength of My Heart by Eugene Greco
Whom do I have in Heaven
Certainly not you
Certainly not you
Oh no certainly not you
Oh cruel Lord
You've given me nothing on this earth
No, nothing
Nothing at all
Always every day
I feel passed over by you
So very passed over by you
Always it seems you are out only to make me fail
Only out to make me fail
You know
I know
We both know
This is the truth
You never want me
You never want me to prevail
God hates this heart
God hates this broken down, lonely heart
God hates this ragged, forsaken heart
And oh, oh God I fear he will forever more
God hates this heart
God hates this broken down, lonely heart
God hates this ragged, forsaken heart
And oh, oh God I fear he will forever more
Forever, forever, forever more
God hates this heart
God hates this broken down, lonely heart
God hates this ragged, forsaken heart
And oh, oh God I fear he will forever more
God hates this heart
God hates this broken down, lonely heart
God hates this ragged, forsaken heart
And oh, oh God I fear he will forever more
God hates this heart
God hates this broken down, lonely heart
God hates this ragged, forsaken heart
And oh, oh God I fear he will forever more
Forever, forever, forever more
I fear
Forever more
Oh Lord, forever more

The Story
The story,
The lorry,
The worry,
And to be sorry!
But the story in the lorry came out clear to worry you;
And now, you are very sorry!

Deathly Leader
The great majesty of death is like a leader,
He spans his life, working in unison, never in wrong.
Great majesty worked with the sword of strength,
Now you must smile so sweetly, reading us instead.
Those deeply imprisoned in the carcass
Sometimes marvel so well, over and above.
Death is too sweet if you are sweet with water
That made you live on this Earth.
A leader will arrive on this Earth
And his objective will be halved
Giving him more time to command his own strength.

Aeschylos And Sophocles
Sophocles: Thou goest then, and leavest none behind Worthy to rival thee!
Aeschylos: Nay, say not so.
Whose is the hand that now is pressing mine?
A hand I may not ever press again!
What glorious forms hath it brought boldly forth
From Pluto's realm! The blind old Oedipos
Was led on one side by Antigone,
Sophocles propt the other.
Sophocles: Sophocles
Sooth'd not Prometheus chaind upon his rock,
Keeping the vultures and the Gods away;
Sophocles is not greater than the chief
Who conquered Ilion, nor could he revenge
His murder, or stamp everlasting brand
Upon the brow of that adulterous wife.
Aeschylos: Live, and do more.
Thine is the Lemnian ile,
And thou hast placed the arrows in the hand
Of Philoctetes, hast assuaged his wounds
And given his aid without which Greece had fail'd.
Sophocles: I did indeed drive off the pest of flies;
We also have our pest of them which buz
About our honey, darken it, and sting;
We laugh at them, for under hands like ours,
Without the wing that Philoctetes shook,
One single feather crushes the whole swarm.
I must be grave.
Hath Sicily such charms
Above our Athens? Many charms hath she,
But she hath kings. Accursed be the race!
Aeschylos: But where kings honor better men than they
Let kings be honored too.
The laurel crown
Surmounts the golden; wear it, and farewell.

Whose Country?
This is the Earth we all brlong to,
In the beginning were Adam and Eve created;
My Earth,
Your Earth,
Our Earth,
Their Earth,
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
My country,
Your country,
Our country,
Their country,
Whose country is the best?
Adam and Eve were placed in the Garden of Eden.
We are in tne same garden today,
This garden is now called Earth;
So did they increased and multiplied.
Whose country is this?
Spreading all over the Earth we came.
From Eden to what we have today,
Whose world?
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
My world,
Your world,
Our world,
Their world,
We are the same people from the same source;
We came from Adam and Eve.
From generations unto generations,
The same people into different colours today;
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
Of many colours taday to enhance the beauty os Earth,
The same homan race from the beginning;
Whose people are they?
My people,
Your people,
Their people,
From one language to many languages today;
So, why worry about the colour of one's skin?
Without Adam and Eve,
Could we have been here today?
Why then create the boundaries?
We are the same people.
This is the Earth that we all belong to,
Why can't we see the truth and live?
This is my home,
This is your home,
This is our home,
This is their home,
The very Earth that we all live in.

A Piece Of Myself... And For Myself
people in my place worry about me
why i do not worry about next year
the next planting season after this year's bumpy harvest where every room in the house is filled with corn.
people in my place ask me where shall i live after next year
and you should soon inherit the house that i built for 50 years.
they all worry about me with all those particular items like what shall happen
to the glasses in my cabinet
or the white car in my blue garage
or my gold watch and my silver spoons and my china plates
they worry about my gold fish in my aquarium
who shall feed them when i am no longer home
people worry a lot about me
and i begin sometimes when i get tired listening to all the questions
asking: why me? why do you worry all about me?
i am not even dead yet and have no plans retiring from life's works
like the arts and this
pottery and this poetry
people worry about me
and never about us.
i am tired and all i need is sleep.
and i do not worry at all.
because i know that if i am dead
then i am dead
and i do not ask for more
not even on extended dreams
not even on anything
perhaps they worry about me because they all worry about themselves
perhaps i am their mirror
or perhaps they think that with my behavior
i should not have lived
in the first place.

Praise to you Jesus Christ (Song)
Praise to you Jesus Christ/God
Praise to you Jesus Christ/Holy spirit
Praise to you Jesus Christ
Give me the strength to praise your mane
Give me the strength to sing your song
Give me the strength to sing loudly
Give me the strength to speak your work
Give me the strength to bare my cross
Give me the strength to walk in your path
Give me the strength to share my wealth
Give me the strength to share what I have
Give me the strength to live in peace
Give me the strength to come to the church
Give me the strength to understand your word
Give me the strength to confess my faults
Give me the strength to stand and sing
Give me the strength to survive in this world
Give me the strength to watch your works
Give me the strength to stay with you
Give me the strength to say thank you
Give me the strength to walk in darkness
Give me the strength to walk for freedom
Give me the strength to stand for my nation
Give me the strength to stand with you
Amen

Lets Put Our Hearts Together
I dont wanna tell you that I care for you
And have you just ignore me
Its better that I wait and see just how you feel
And maybe youll adore me
I know youve had so much experience
That you dont need another person in your life
I know it may sound funny
But youre the kind of woman
Whod make a very sweet wife
Take your time, dont worry how you feel because
You know weve got forever
Maybe Ill come up with some idea and
Youd think that I was clever
Ive never had someone I need someone
To live with and be good to
Dont worry bout your past loves
And if theyve never understood you
Lets put our hearts together
And say well leave each other never
Lets see what we can cook up between us
Together
Together
Together you and i

Afraid To Live And Afraid Of Dying
(Porter Wagoner)
They say most anything you eat could hurt your health
Be careful what you drink, don't harm yourself
And pollution in the air might make you sick
Makes you afraid to live, afraid that you might die too quick
Do the men that quote this danger really know
Life is gift to be enjoyed and not to worry so
The biggest danger sign that we should know
Make sure we're right with God, as through this world we go
We're afraid to live 'cause we're afraid of dyin'
And afraid to love the one we love, afraid they might be lyin'
We can't enjoy life when they say each thing might bring an early grave
We're afraid to live 'cause we're afraid of dyin'
Do the men that quote this danger really know?
Life is gift to be enjoyed, why worry so?
The biggest danger sign that we should know
Make sure we're right with God, as through this world we go
Make sure we're right with God, as through this world we go

The Future 1
Sometimes we worry too much
For the future we await in a rush
We can get it right with time
All we need do is look up straight
Straight into our dreams
Search through the nooks of our believe
To find the courage we need
Courage produces strength
Strength carries us on
No matter where we are going
It starts from where we are now
The journey is long, the prize is big
We need to focus on our next step
Not always on the prize
Lest we fall, and if we fall
Our speed fails, and if it fails
We will be overtaken by nature
But yet, we can stand up to the challenges
Holding up our stands to each level
Keeping focus on each day, making them great
Each great day makes a great week
And every week makes our entire lifetime
Because the future is now.

Century City
Sometimes I wanna leave you
Sometimes I wanna go
Right back where I came from
Back where I belong
But it never lasts for too long
Always goes away
Well I s till dont look for reasons
Thats much too hard these days
Why worry about the rain?
Why worry about the problem?
Honey century citys got everything covered
Well your mama gave you lovin
Mama held you near
Baby mam a cant do nothin
Honey mama just aint here
And you can pretend all you want to
But that wont work no more
No you cant run back to daddy
Yeah you tried that once before
Why worry about your father?
Why worry about your mother?
Honey century citys got everything covered
Were gonna live in century city
Go ahead and give in, century city
Like modern men, modern girls
Were gonna live in the modern world
Were gonna live in century city
Go ahead and give in, century city
Like modern men, modern girls
Were gonna live in the modern world
Sometimes I get discouraged
Sometimes I feel so down
Sometimes I get so worried
But I dont know what about
But it w orks out in the long run
Always goes away
And Ive come now to accept it
As a reoccurring phase
Dont worry about the rain
Dont worry about the problem
Honey century citys got everything covered
Were gonna live in century city
Were gonna live in century city
Were gonna live in century city
Were gonna live in century city
