Focus On The Good
Focus On The Good
In a world full of negativity
As seen in everyday news
For you were unable to accept me "as is"
In those six weeks
Can you see through the thick smoke?
Are you that blind by ignorance?
Why is your pride bigger than your body?
Are your judgmental and age discrimination the reasons for your frequent break-ups?
Does it kill you to have compassion?
Is your heart always empty?
Focus On The Good
As you don't know me from an in-depth perspective
For you are not a judge who wears the cloak
You do not have the power to slam the gavel on a sounding block
To make quick complaints without understanding me
I'm a positive spirit
Lively
Care-free
Full of life
An honest portrait
Talented
Compassionate
Focus On The Good
Where your pride will consume you
Open your mind
Stop the judging
As no one is perfect
It shall forever be your loss
For I am a good person

Don't Only Focus On The Money
When you go for the money,
You'll be selling your soul.
And when one goes for just the money,
The heart turns cold.
So don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Bling is nice but there's more to life.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Open your mind with bright wide eyes,
To take a ride that will excite you.
With a view to greater heights.
So...
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
When you go for the money,
You'll be selling your soul.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't let your heart grow old and cold.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
So...
Don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
So...
Don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
So you just don't focus on the money,
Don't.
So you just don't focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
'I feel funny when I don't have any money.'
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't you only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't keep your focus on the fact that you always stay broke.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't stay focused on the money,
Don't!
Don't keep your focus on the fact that you always stay broke.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.

Crystal Ball
a crystal ball in your hand
foretelling my mood
stop it
the paranoia is a lamp in your mind
it is daytime
stop it
see the sun
feel the warmth
do not make predictions
reality is here
see the world for yourself
do not look at me
feel the grass
not my skin
touch the wind
not my words
fly like a bird yourself
do not think that i have wings
stop talking much
every syllable becomes a bar of your prison wall
try the silence
like licking vanilla ice cream
set me free
for i am free
live your life
do not be crippled by my own biography
focus focus
focus focus
write the words for your life
do not see my notes
be brave
as i am.

What It Takes To Be A Good Friend
A good friend is always kind,
Should always speak their mind,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
A good friend is there for you,
They are real, they are true- blue,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
A good friend will be there when you marry,
A heart full of memories, they will carry,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
They'll be there if your father dies,
They'll weep with you when you cry,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
If a good friend you do find,
Make sure they treat you kind,
Understanding they shouldn't lack,
And they would never stab you in the back,
On top of everything always remember,
A best friend is forever.

Mom
"Hello mom, " I said "It's me"
"California set me free"
She just laughed and said "I knew"
Said I was one of the few
Who could make it anywhere
Go through life without a care
Which I can I know for sure
For in my heart I am pure
We talked for a long, long while
Which is really not my style
Then just before our goodbyes
She started in with the lies
About how good life had been
How she gave up on the gin
Then I heard a word she slurred
That moment my world was blurred
Was I to ignore the call
Or stop her from her sure fall
It pains me every day
That I didn't even pray
For we never spoke again
That's the source of all my pain

Seth Compton
When I died, the circulating library
Which I built up for Spoon River,
And managed for the good of inquiring minds,
Was sold at auction on the public square,
As if to destroy the last vestige
Of my memory and influence.
For those of you who could not see the virtue
Of knowing Volney's "Ruins" as well as Butler's "Analogy"
And "Faust" as well as "Evangeline,"
Were really the power in the village,
And often you asked me,
"What is the use of knowing the evil in the world?"
I am out of your way now, Spoon River,
Choose your own good and call it good.
For I could never make you see
That no one knows what is good
Who knows not what is evil;
And no one knows what is true
Who knows not what is false.

Quiet Focus Of The Mind
The Quiet focus of the mind
Is From whence imaginations rise
Imagination of starlit creation
Stimulation to open up one’s eyes
The quiet focus of the mind
To garner truth, cast out the lies
If Intimidation begets frustration
Then Frustration leads to what’s and why’s
Well… the quiet focus of the mind
Will turn what’s and why’s to quiet sighs
Plain and simple contemplation
Levels out, life’s lows and highs
And the quiet focus of the mind
Will lift the spirit to the skies

Because
Oh, because you never tried
To bow my will or break my pride,
And nothing of the cave-man made
You want to keep me half afraid,
Nor ever with a conquering air
You thought to draw me unaware --
Take me, for I love you more
Than I ever loved before.
And since the body's maidenhood
Alone were neither rare nor good
Unless with it I gave to you
A spirit still untrammeled, too,
Take my dreams and take my mind
That were masterless as wind;
And "Master!" I shall say to you
Since you never asked me to.

The Malefactor's Plea
Of sentences that stir my bile,
Of phrases I detest,
There's one beyond all others vile;
"He did it for the best."
Of course he did: I don't suppose,
Nor can you think I should,
The man's among my deadliest foes,
Or is not fairly good.
Of course he did it for the best:
What should he do it for?
But did he do it? that's the test:
I ask to know no more.
Alas! he did: and here am I,
Quite ruined, half disgraced;
And you can really ask me why
My wrath is not effaced:
And there is he, good worthy man,
With self-esteem possessed,
Still saying, as of course he can,
"I did it for the best."
No evil deed was ever done,
Or honest man withstood,
Since first this weary world begun,
Except for someone's good.
And can it signify to me
Whose good he did it for?
Mine was it? thus 'twas wont to be,
And will be ever more.
When inoffensive people plant
A dagger in your breast,
Your good is what they really want:
They do it for the best.

Memories In Photos
Follow your interest
Follow your heart
To great sunsets and nature,
To capture dramatic scenery
Keep your eyes open
Keep your ears listen
Keep your mind clam
Keep your camera handy
Tweak camera setting right
White balance,
Colour balance
Exposure balance.
Stretch your vision
Thru viewfinder and lens
Framing, Ups, Downs,
Horizontal, Vertical.
Focus subjects clearly,
Focus selectively,
Focus intensely,
Focus is for Wimps.
Gaussian blur,
Romantic look,
Dodgy blurry snap,
Inspired abstract arts.
Art of photography
Art of imperfection and perfection
Art of creative mind
Art of good imagination
Rolling hills, rolling mountains
Misty morning dawns, hazy evening dusk
Striking and dreamy sea sky
Stunning sea sky
Painting with light,
Painting with mind
Painting with black and white
Painting with brushing light
Make your shots
A visually balance shots
A visually balance composition
To Sense of depth, scale and perspective.
Showcase your photos
In Memorable pictures
To treasure moments in time
Remember sweet memory in photos
Keep memories in photos.

The New Mistress
"Oh, sick I am to see you, will you never let me be?
You may be good for something, but you are not good for me.
Oh, go where you are wanted, for you are not wanted here.
And that was all the farewell when I parted from my dear.
"I will go where I am wanted, to a lady born and bred
Who will dress me free for nothing in a uniform of red;
She will not be sick to see me if I only keep it clean:
I will go where I am wanted for a soldier of the Queen.
"I will go where I am wanted, for the sergeant does not mind;
He may be sick to see me but he treats me very kind:
He gives me beer and breakfast and a ribbon for my cap,
And I never knew a sweetheart spend her money on a chap.
"I will go where I am wanted, where there's room for one or two,
And the men are none too many for the work there is to do;
Where the standing line wears thinner and the dropping dead lie thick;
And the enemies of England they shall see me and be sick."

Why Good or Why is it Bad?
The first time mankind found out the secret in paradise,
When they ate the forbidden fruit of good and bad for a surprise.
Since then people call happenings how they see,
Ignoring the truth, knowing not it is just positive and negative in Thee.
If one is searching for the truth can find it easily,
Many times bad can turn out good and good can turn into tragic suddenly.
All problems in our life comes from our own mind,
Without the truth we are pawns in this world, we are deaf and blind.
All the great teaching tell us that we have the free will,
If you think you can rule over others or the universe, you are ill.
The free will means you can choose between Life or malediction,
Follow your own feelings, have faith in God's goodness
Don't mind opposition.
We are here to learn and teach on the way we are able,
Stop calling names good or bad, go forward in peace and confidence.
Put your work on God's table.
Then, He will give you the understanding to every detail,
You'll find true contentment, happiness and the right trail.
If you really believe, that you do His work, don't question, don't oppose,
Do what you feel in the moment without any remorse.
Know, that God works thru you, let His will be done,
Let no man judge you for it, it is the business of none.
Then you'll have peace and contentment in your soul and spirit,
Health in your body and paradise you'll inhabit,
You'll understand the meaning to live forever,
All the teaching will be clear; you'll never be a pawn or a stranger.

War...war...war...
war...war...war...
war can kill, war can be killed
war can hurt, and war can please
war is bad, and war is good
war can bring death and war can bring joy
war is like a game there is one winner and one looser
war can be a bridge and war can be a tunnle
war can blind, war can deaf
war can help, war cant help
war is a word that has no meaning
war changes the world to great or bad
war is a simple thing
war is not evil or good
war can be stopped, war can stop
war can be nothing or it can be everything
i've been in war it is not hard and it is not easy
you dont need much to be in the war
all u need is a heart full of pride
and if u dont have that u will get shot and die

Another Acrostic ( In the style of Father William )
"Are you deaf, Father William!" the young man said,
"Did you hear what I told you just now?
"Excuse me for shouting! Don't waggle your head
"Like a blundering, sleepy old cow!
"A little maid dwelling in Wallington Town,
"Is my friend, so I beg to remark:
"Do you think she'd be pleased if a book were sent down
"Entitled 'The Hunt of the Snark?'"
"Pack it up in brown paper!" the old man cried,
"And seal it with olive-and-dove.
"I command you to do it!" he added with pride,
"Nor forget, my good fellow to send her beside
"Easter Greetings, and give her my love."

It Is All In The Mind
think my dear, it is all in your mind
think beautiful
and you will be beautiful
think all the good things you have
and you will be good
think that you are this success and
you will surely be one, my dear
so why bother
about what this world has to say to you
it is you that matters
it is your mind your soul in you that shapes the contours
of your flesh and body
use your mind that way you use
all the wisdom in you
think about beauty, the truth, the good
focus your mind, change this cup, this saucer, this spoon
change this world of ash into flowers and butterflies
learn this art
this subjectivity, this feeling, this poetry
it is all in the mind
and matter is now bereft of power to hurt you
it is
the mind, the soul, the idea, so think some more
it is the real you, this rational you, think some more
with your beautiful mind, change this world of ash into
this garden of Eden

Take Good Care
Ive been broken-hearted
It felt like my world was caving in, leaving me lonely
It felt like my head was in a spin
Id too and Id turn all night, wondering how it came to be
Ive been there, and I never will return
If youre honest, girl (honest, girl)
You will be my world (be my world)
And Ill be there if you take good care forever
Chorus:
Take good care of my heart, and I wont let you down, girl
Take good care of my heart, Ill always be around, girl
Take good care of my heart, and I will leave you never
If you take good care forever
Id do about anything
To show you that my love is strong enough
Whether its rain or shine
Even when the going gets too tough
Ill be there, on this, you can rely
If youll be my girl (be my girl)
Ill promise the world (promise the world)
And my love, Ill share if you take good care forever
Repeat chorus
I used to make believe
There was a girl of my dreams (girl of my dreams)
When I opened up my eyes
I saw my dreams have come to life
Repeat chorus to fade

Who has the heart and courage
Who has the heart
And courage
Wins at the end
To the top
We don't stop
Man was born with a vision
Through that his mission
Yes people ever did it great
But you can do it greater
There are people out there
Doing it good
You can do it better
There is none greater
And none is lesser
Everyone has it
But no one has has it
Make good use of your time
For who you become
Is beyond understanding
For that we still searching
Be who you are
Go as much as far
The storm might hit you
Life might be crooked to you
The battle might be sore
But be courageous
Be serious and get focus
For winners don't quit
And quitters don't win
For who has the heart
And courage
Wins at the end.

Once In A Lifetime
"I know I'm a down and out, wet and freezing cold,
but what do you want from one who feels so old.
Go away, leave me alone, so I can get some sleep
and maybe with luck God will my soul keep.
What do you want? I've got nothing at all for you,
even my aching body is aged and worthless too.
Maybe you're a Samaritan here to do me a good turn?
Oh go away, I'm too old to change or learn."
"What would you say if I could make you well again,
give you a younger body free from pain? "
"Do you think I'm mad or are you completely insane,
who do you think you are to make such a claim? "
"I am not an empty vessel; I only say what I can do,
and I will help you, but you have to help me too.
Ah, I see you're thinking… well, what do you say old man?
No one else can offer this, there's only me that can?
If you turn me down you'll be dead in a very short time;
what've you to lose, why should you decline? "
"And I suppose all you want is my God given soul,
my only possession that's undamaged and whole.
Throughout my entire life, it's been of no use to me,
and yet you want it, in exchange for my misery."
"How did you happen to know it was your soul I desired,
do you believe the stories that I'm by evil inspired?
You people have been grossly misinformed about me,
if I was really evil would I set your pain free,
give you a new life, guaranteed for three more years,
why, such a deal would reduce any man to tears.
Come on old man, before it's too late, what do you say,
are we going to make a deal before you slip away?
Your soul is worthless to you when you're dead and gone,
this is your last chance to live a new life from now on."
"If we can agree to five years instead of three for my soul,
what will happen to me when I've paid my toll?
Will my soul burn forever in that place they call hell,
be tormented and tortured, like I've heard tell? "
You don't want to listen to malicious fairy tales and lies,
which are used to frighten children and the unwise.
As a collector of souls I've been stigmatised by what I do
by the so called honest and religious amongst you.
The truth is hell doesn't really exist, so no one goes there,
and all the other stuff is just a religious scare.
So, with the souls I gather I simply unite them together
so that as soul mates they can remain forever.
"Is it true that we have to have a contract signed in blood,
with everything agreed and understood? "
"This too is superstitious nonsense and it gets under my skin,
but if that's what you want, it's a good way to begin.
"In this modern age a teardropp to seal the contract will do,
and from this day all I promised will be granted to you.
And in four years from now your soul will become mine,
so make the most of your life, and have a good time."
The following four years passed by as though one day
and the payment of a soul is due without delay.
"Hello my friend, you look exceptionally well and healthy,
your four years has not been a waste of time I see."
"I've had an excellent time and I want to thank you a lot,
but is it possible to postpone the contract we've got? "
"How dare you have the audacity to take me as a fool,
do you honestly think I'll break a fundamental rule?
Now listen old man, a deal is a deal and that's a fact,
and its all been signed for in our contract.
Now give me a sealing teardropp from your eye,
and then we can say our last goodbye."
"I'm sorry, it's not medically possible I have dry eyes,
and operations have in vain been tried."
"This is no use to me! I've said it before, a deal is a deal
you'll have to sign it off using blood as the seal! "
"I won't sign in blood, things are different in my life,
I have responsibilities, including a new wife."
"But all these things were made possible because of me,
you owe me your soul and that's how it will be!
Okay, okay… I accept that I cannot have it this day,
but the moment you die you will definitely pay,
and don't go away thinking that you have outwitted me,
your soul will soon be mine, you are not accident free."

There came whisperings in the winds
There came whisperings in the winds:
"Good-bye! Good-bye!"
Little voices called in the darkness:
"Good-bye! Good-bye!"
Then I stretched forth my arms.

There came whisperings in the wind
"Good-bye! Good-bye!"
Little voices called in the darkness:
"Good-bye! Good-bye!"
