Demented - failing lives

Thousands sit awake at night
On watch for movements of the day
To hear the creaky-groany boards
The closing door - the moving chair

They estimate what actions keep
The one demented soul awake
And settle only on the loss
Of sound of movement through the wall

Or yet - exhausted - sleep in spite
Of night long wailing out of dreams
A Sisterhood - a Brotherhood
For years their ears attune the need

Which patched and pricked into their soul
Will still advance while there is life
Their life - or life of one they love
In retrospective empathy

Of times when love meant everything
They settle stunned by misery
And cope as well they're able to
Give up when nothing's making sense

To sleep in guilty nightmare's grip
To - waking - find continuance
The fact of small destructiveness
Upon a mind once clear and bright

Shows here in sorrow - loss of self
And loss of will to wash and dress
Or to ensure that meals are made
Or eaten once - not twice nor thrice

That sinks and baths are not the same
As toilet bowls - and floors left clean
Are spread in brown - the stink removes
The will to eat in those who care

Yet loss of smell in failing mind
Allows no deep concerning thought
Of gas or food gone over long
Nor any sense in life still lived

By others round about - nor need
To gather love nor willingness
For those who care - yet cannot care
In spite of all - nor take delight
In love returned - nor hopefulness
Of better times to come.

Loss Of...

Loss it seems is the worst kind of sorrow
Loss of dreams, the dreams of tomorrow

Loss of the moments you two should have shared
Loss of opportunities to show her you cared

Loss of the memories you both could have created
Loss of the romance once intense as you dated

Loss of a kiss, caress, or embrace
Loss of that special feeling no one else can replace

Loss of a look, the twinkle in her eye
Loss of the touch as you pass each other by

Loss of a future, from a past of regret
Loss of a last chance, how many do you get

Loss of a promise you never meant to break
Loss of two hearts that forever will ache

Try *Unreal edit

I am the ruin-er of all dreams
The darkest of angels so it seams
Lock me away forever
This is my second endeavor

In a room without a key
No longer can I ruin your dreams
No lights, no points, no knifes
No point to wait till the end of my life

Eyes to dilate to there peak
To return to normal never again
No point it's lost all away
With the willing loss of every friend

Unknowing of what else to do
I shut this all down because of you
I quite it all every temptation
To show you your true loves discretion

I hate the fact you take it as
A loss of love a loss of life
But all it is is just a sense
Of how hard I really really try

You do not see the love I have
I shut it off I quite it all
To show you that I really try
But off the cliff I slip and fall

It does not matter to myself at all
For you are all that's left I care
I try to show you speak it out
But a lack for the words I am without

You will not trust
You say I lie
If that's how you feel
I wish to die

Because if they don't work
Then I can not deal
Without my words
I am unreal

963: Peace n happiness wish...

Love is so beautiful,
In love there is loss,
Life is still beautiful,
Do not cause loss,
If it occurs to you,
Just accept it.

None causes loss,
It just happens,
Forgive those,
Who appear to have,
Caused loss to you,
Forgiveness is noble.

Let her be happy,
And at peace,
If she could not,
She would have a reason,
Let god take care of her,
Wish her happiness and peace.

Lost In A House Fire

The loss of a child
The loss of a wife
Tis all the same as the loss of your own life
The loss of house and all that's inside
Tis all the same as if your whole soul had died
The loss of temper
Loss of faith and self-control
Tis all the same as knowing you have now grown very old
The loss of all memory when all is becalmed
When you find that your wife and child all safe and unharmed

Loneliness

Without permission loneliness visited
and settled in my heart,
So cruel to the heart it took over control,
It made me envy other souls with mates.
For mine hasen't one to care for;

I sleep with my heart awake,
I dream the dreams of sorrow,
I scream in the middle of the night.
And I wake but only to find myself without nobody,

Is my soul a kind of a soul without a mate?
No one to love and nobody to love me,
I watch and behold pairs of lovers strolling
My eyes drown in sympathy;
I cry in total silence.

I need some one to care for,
And to be cared for,
Someone I can call my own,
How long shall i keep on waiting?

A Book, Never Read

Many, many years ago, I experienced a loss most profound;
Now I view the same as a blessing-a dichotomy to confound;
I no longer need solace; I no longer grieve-
Any sense of loss I may have felt, I begged its leave;
I think not of moments lost; nor of a life, without;
My mind has removed, forever and always, any doubt:
For, my most heart-wrenching loss is now my gain;
My heart's poignant relief, supplanted its deepest pain!

Nary hath a moment come, since this day of change,
Where my former sense of loss, seemed anything but strange;
I am begotten from what I lost, though there, it ends;
I live my life with this knowledge, no matter where it sends
Me, or any other I may love-for, he is now and ever, dead-
Gone forever, forgotten completely-as though a book, never read!

Sense of loss

About you I think
Then could not blink
I gaze in the skies
With wandering eyes
Those feelings of love
Why kept I above
I think about the days
Falling of the rays
When do we play
On the ocean’s bay
I sob for the days

Sob for the past
That could not last
Left me all alone
To groan and mourn
The loss of emotions
I mourn and bemoan
Love’s sojourn
I swear of my soul
I can not condole

Loss of sense
Sense of loss

l Losses Are Sometime Good...

Loss, most of the time bad. On occasion, great!

SOME TIME A LOSS CAN BE GOOD!

Can loss sometime be happy. You bet! Ask some
divorced couples.

The other guy had a loss and I won!

My ex had a loss, of most of our assets. Yes,
you guessed it, I got 'em!

Insurance companies, now there's some, that
many take great delight,
when they suffer a loss.

When the tax man does an audit, if they have
a loss, we have a win! (best kind of loss)

The person who brings suite against you,
suffers a loss. (Ain't that sweet?)

A hostile mother-in-law, suffers a loss,
when her daughter gets divorced.

When one experiences a weight loss.
Now that's something that would make
millions of people happy!

When the owner of your building, is deemed
to be, 'rent controlled, ' it brings a loss
to the greedy titleholder. (break out the champagne)

When the neighbor you hadn't spoken to for years,
has a loss, of the keys, to her car.

When the kid, who keeps running over your lawn,
with his bike, has a loss, of the two wheel monster.

When you child, who you love, but drives you nuts
with their loud music, has a broken stereo,
and a loss of music. (They're unhappy. You're ecstatic.)

When one has a loss of sleep, because their spouse
was amorous all night. (Ahhhh, the good old days.)

When your in-laws, prepare to come to your house,
for the first time, and have a loss of directions.

When your spouse, who cremates every barbecue
they ever handled, has a loss of the coals.
(Actually you hid them.)

When the know-it-all comes to your home, and
can't say a word, because they had a loss of
their dentures.

Remember...If you have a loss, sometime,
the loss is good!

Loss their life in a column of newspaper.
Loss their life in the lightening photo of star.

Profile of high profile cader.
Photo of dustbin child.

Now life,
Now love,
Addvertisement of peace,

A Loss of Inner Peace.

A loss of inner peace,
as i hear the words come out,

A loss of words,
As i try to speak of it,

A loss of a love,
a love too great to convey,

But with this loss of inner peace,
I find an understanding of life.

Loss Lost in Thought

Loss of love from your partner in soul:
A.k.a. jilt;
Loss of love from your bygones of souls:
A.k.a. mourning;
Loss of love which came from a dearth
Of love through rescinding love:
A.k.a. hatred;

Love to science in analysis be
Secretion of oxytocin in association
With an entity that leads to bonding - so boring:
A.k.a. must all suffer scientific explanation?

Loss of love, a catastrophe, nay!
So love, nurture love, and be loved!

Loss of nature from dear Mother Earth:
A.k.a. destruction;
Loss of greed in material world:
A.k.a. always opportunity for altruism;
Loss of kindness and pity and all:
A.k.a. human nature has dark undertones;
Loss of ego and fire of desire:
A.k.a. loss may be good in consequence;
Loss of responsibility; humility:
A.k.a. loss may be unnerving.

Loss of Homo sapiens:
A.k.a. demise of the flawed primate - pinnacle of Darwinism - equates to
No art; music; poetry; debate, and

Everything innate ornate of human!
So concentrate please, on bliss of this.

No Cure but There Are Stars

Please sir be assured
there is no cure
no cure for my insanity
no cure for my fear
no cure for my scars
so i sit under the night sky
and look at the stars
it seems even my fright
has gone away
the stars shine bright
such a beautiful sight
lights all around
come to me and surround
surround me with love
bring me to life
help me move on
with your faith and hope
save me please
help me cope
cope from the loss of faith
ther loss of friends
the loss of family and love
stars please
be my guide
and stay by my side

Love And Loss

Loss molds our lives in many ways,
And fills our souls with guesses;
Upon our hearts sad hands it lays
Like some grave priest that blesses.

Far better than the love we win,
That earthly passions leaven,
Is love we lose, that knows no sin,
That points the path to Heaven.

Love, whose soft shadow brightens Earth,
Through whom our dreams are nearest;
And loss, through whom we see the worth
Of all that we held dearest.

Not joy it is, but misery
That chastens us, and sorrow;
Perhaps to make us all that we
Expect beyond To-morrow.

Within that life where time and fate
Are not; that knows no seeming:
That world to which death keeps the gate
Where love and loss sit dreaming.

Opurtunity

Opportunity
Loss it seems is the worst kind of sorrow
Loss of a dream
Loss of a person
But what of the loss of opportunity
Opportunity for a dream
Opportunity for time with a person
Can not having the chance of loss
Be worse than loss itself
More prominent
More painful
An aching sense that if only you’d had the chance
You would at least have memories
Good
Bad
Would it matter as long as you could remember
Loss it seems is the worse kind of sorrow
But worse still is the loss of opportunity

What is loss?

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

So what’s the fuss about loss?

Waiting!
Debating!
Contemplating!

What is loss?
Something you care about
Taken away from you by force
Creating total unforgivable chaos

Thinking!
Blinking!
Seeking!

What is loss
It is a minus instead of a plus
Hence the unmistakable fuss
Death and sickness build up great grief
Loss brings despair instead of relief
And in loss itself I have no belief

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

Loss! An inequitable cause
Thrown on you without a toss
So you become very cross
Because in your life you realize, you are never the only boss!

Kinds of Loss

There's kinds of loss that can bum you out

The loss of a game
You lost your way
Losing your favorite pin

This can make you pout
But without a doubt
It is not a real big thing

The kind of loss that can make you shout

The loss of your job
The loss your car
When you could not pay

It left you confused
Feeling slightly defused
But then you can re-group

Then there a loss, that cuts deep within

My maternal rights that I tried not to win
So stupid to give up such a gift
To watch my boys grow, live with the man
that I've tried so much to get away

No school papers to hang on my frig
No more practices to run to at night
Now I that I am a part-time Mom
And try and do it all on my weekends

The Greatest Plague

Hate consumes the people of the world like a
plague that kills. Turn to hate we do in times
where things are wrong in thine eyes. Try to
justify it by calling it what you like but in
the end it all amounts to hate. Someone attacks
the weak we go after them claiming justice but
we allow the anger to lead us away. Sorrow can
leads us to hate without a soul even realizing
it. So hate has the ulitmate power in this world
that call home. Hate is everything that does not
envelop love or happiness. We allow more hate
than love in this land. You can call it what you
like. Spite anger sorrow loss sadness jealousy
pain. They all lead down the road to hatred.
The paths may go in different ways but all in
in the same place. Being there alone without
a person to stand at your side. Without the
happiness and joys of life. You can say that
sorrow loss and sadness are not hate but when
you think about it your sorrow can turn feeling
sorrow for a person can turn to hurting another
you feel anger towards those who would not help.
Loss you blame someone or something for taking
someone away from you. Perhaps your loss can
change into seeking vengence. Sadness how could
it turn you wander but sadness it self it loss
and sorrow. When sad you are easily swayed by
one of great influence good or bad. Hate has
the power to do more to us than one can ever
think or imagine. For those who do no see it
just turn the pages back in time and all shall
be revealed then. Hate is destroying us swiftly
one day at a time. Hate is the worlds greatest
plague.

Wishing For The Past

For Bobcat

After all these lonely years
Why do I still love you so much
Why do I still miss your smile
And still crave your touch

I hear your sweet voice
In my dreams each night
And I constantly wonder
How can I make this right

Still lost in the sweet dreams
I wake and reach for you
But your love is just a memory
A dream I wish would come true

Why do I still feel the loss
Down so deep in my soul
When will I understand it all
So my heart can be whole

You were not my first love
But I promise you will be my last
I will mourn your loss forever
Constantly wishing for the past
