Clay Feet

“D’you think God knows what He is doing? ”
a few bold angels dared to ask
when He created Man. At their first viewing,
they saw that He had botched this task,
because He’d left Man’s legs unfinished,
and though his brilliant brain held sway,
his human stature was diminished
because he stood on feet of clay.

A golden oldie now, Man’s not
improved in time, and every gate
of paradise is closed, and what
the angels said explains his fate.
God made his brain more brilliant than
the apes from which he had descended,
but giving feet of clay to Man
made him than angels far less splendid.
Roberta Smith (“Golden Oldies with a New Sparkle, ” NYT, October 30,2007) writes about an exhibition of three of “The Gates of Paradise” by Lorenzo Ghiberti at the Metropolitan Museum:
Most of the historic sculptures, frescoes and edifices of early-15th-century Florence are not the least bit portable. It’s simple: You want to see them, you go to Florence. But right now nearly a third of one of the city’s greatest glories can be seen without leaving town, by visiting “The Gates of Paradise: Lorenzo Ghiberti’s Renaissance Masterpiece” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This show presents 3 of the 10 gilded bronze reliefs that decorate the doors created by Ghiberti from 1425 to 1452 for the 12th- to 13th-century Baptistery of San Giovanni. Newly cleaned, they have never looked more golden or less oldie. One of the treasures of the early Renaissance, the 17-foot-high doors depict Old Testament scenes in a radically new fusion of physical action, emotional intensity and narrative complexity. Especially the three reliefs at the Met. Their subjects are Adam and Eve, Jacob and Esau, and David and Goliath. Each is pictorially unified and yet, in a different way, almost cinematic in effect… Ghiberti’s feeling for physical detail and emotional nuance keeps his surfaces alive, edge to edge. As Adam and Eve’s story unfolds, for example, angels register everything from joy to skepticism to alarm. (An angel watching God awaken Adam seems to be asking, “Does he know what he’s doing? ”)

Theory of Evolution in Islam

The holy Koran supports
Theory of evolution
But it opines that
God has created human at first
In a different way
Since humans are His best creation

The angels took mud from the earth
To God’s main court in paradise
Then God expanded His visible glow
So that the angels can see His body
And make a body like His body with it
But the angels were unable
To make the face
Because God’s body
Is the most beautiful thing

Consequently
God’s body made the face
Of Adam with His own hand
And gave finishing touch
Then he breathed into
Adam’s body a soul
And Adam became alive

Afterward
God created Eve
From a bone of Adam’s breast
By necessary genetic mutations.

No Place For Angels

you first seduce me
baptized with fire
my one addiction
your sweet desire
is living in a world of hate and greed
standing on the edge of time
we had paradise but that was lost
forever to mankind
no place for angels
for you and me
no place for angels
i'm lost in your reality
were life seems so unreal
i feel the madness
with jesus liar
the one creation
obsessed by fire
is living in a world of hate and greed
standing on the edge of time
we had paradise but that was lost
forever to mankind
no place for angels
for you and me
no place for angels
i'm lost in your reality
were life seems so unreal
you may think im just a crazy guy
in my world of madmans brain

Children Of Paradise

We are children of paradise
When the lord created us
All his work was through
Then the children of paradise
Did the only thing
They really shouldnt do
Children of paradise
We started out there
Full of innocence in our eyes
And without a care
Were children of paradise
We knew of no crime
Until one of the meanest lines
Has changed our time
It was long ago
In the early morning glow
When it all began
With adam and eve
They were young and free
And for all eternity
They were meant to feel
No trouble, no grief
Children of paradise
We started out there
Full of innocence in our eyes
And without a care
Were children of paradise
In search of the light
That was put out in paradise
And started the night
It was long ago
In the early morning glow
When it all began
With adam and eve
They were young and free
And for all eternity
They were meant to feel
No trouble, no grief
We are children of paradise
When the lord created us
All his work was through
Then the children of paradise
Did the only thing
They really shouldnt do
Aaahhh...
Were children of paradise
Who didnt obey
When we followed the wrong advice
We wandered astray
Were children of paradise
In search of the light
That was put out in paradise
And started the night
It was long ago
In the early morning glow
When it all began
With adam and eve
They were young and free
And for all eternity...

The Angels

Like God’s body
The angel is cluster of tiniest particles
Clinging together because of gravity
They are like a dot to God’s body in size.
The angels who have two pairs of wings
Are under Sidratul Muntaha Tree in paradise
And are circling around God’s Throne
The angels who have four pairs of wings
Are the Sufra angels and angels of God’s court
All other angels have three pairs of wings
Angels are something like the super-strings
They can take almost any form and size
Angels can eat and drink but they do not do that
Angels have life partner as well but they do not enjoy sex
Angels are so tiny they can use the density of sky to fly
Usually the chief four angels carry God’s Throne
But on doomsday eight angels will carry it.

N.B.: Sidratul Muntaha Tree is a thorny tree of Ferdous Paradise (near God’s Center Point) under which many angels are just bowing and prostrating in awe. Sufra angels are translating text of Laohay Mahfuz (God’s Manuscript)

Angels

Everyone pictures angels
with angelic faces, golden hair,
a pair of wings and a head
surrounded by an aura of gold.
However, are angels really like that?

Angels are just like you and me.
They walk among us
and you would never recognise one,
if they were right before your eyes.
They will never tell you
that they are an angel.

The only time you would know
there was an angel there,
is when their miracle
has been performed,
and like a fleeting ghost,
they fade away and are gone.

Heaven Is Hell

As I walk down a golden paved highway,
The sound of angels song fills my ears,
I dance amidst the couds that surround me,
A vision of paradise stretches out before me,
I breathe in life from all of my surroundings,
I have died and become an immortal,
Golden haloed angels have become my company,
Blooms of lush flowers and birdsong surround,
And in this paradise I search for you my love,
I call out your name, yet you do not answer,
My past lifes lived must have been sinful indeed,
Where my crimes against humanity so unspeakable?
What sins must I have committed to deserve this?
For I have searched this never ending paradise,
And now I know heaven is hell... For you are not here...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Faith

Faith in God is the best work of mind
We should believe in His oneness
And our fate, the angels, the prophets
The Holy Scriptures and the afterlife

The gate of faith of paradise is the biggest
And all believers will have access to this gate
But it is less beautiful
Than other gates of paradise

For this reason
Please at least believe in Islam
And never ever lose hope
Regarding mercy of God

Isaac Watts

Psalm 8 part 2

v. 3ff, paraphrased.
L. M.
Adam and Christ, lords of the old and new creation.

Lord, what was man, when made at first,
Adam the offspring of the dust,
That thou shouldst set him and his race
But just below an angel's place?

That thou shouldst raise his nature so,
And make him lord of all below;
Make every beast and bird submit,
And lay the fishes at his feet?

But, O! what brighter glories wait
To crown the Second Adam's state!
What honors shall thy Son adorn,
Who condescended to be born!

See him below his angels made;
See him in dust amongst the dead,
To save a ruined world from sin;
But he shall reign with power divine.

The world to come, redeemed from all
The miseries that attend the fall,
New made and glorious, shall submit
At our exalted Savior's feet.

Angels and Demons

angels and demons are special adversaries
of God perfect creation; they are the stairway
and ladder of man’s salvation

in every deep prayer angels and demons
becomes the agent of change of every faith,
making them the wind that blows our mutual
Communication with God

understanding the nature would mean, a
beginning to know that eternity is something
a special place or a state of life, which the
teaching of the church called it heaven

angels and demons is the pathways where,
souls has come to see the light, beyond the
darkness memory of our destiny

angels and demons birth the salvation of what
the promise of Adam and Eve in the garden
of paradise; the same nature coupled with equal
immunity with different disguise and personality
tempting the weaknesses of man

the revelation of God's altenative, created to thy
glory of God, to test human loyalty and obedient
of thy holy name in the kingdom to come

grant thy existence of angels and demons, as part
of the master plan of salvation, for thy majesty
comes in a shinning armor to judge the living and
the dead, for each one will be judge according to
thy action

let then the intersession of angels to cast out the
demons living in our midst and may the kingdom
of the Lord God lives in our souls

Craft, Faith And Narrative

Craft, faith and narrative all fuse,
creating medieval art;
if you add the inspiration of the muse
you get the Bible. À la carte,
it serves you narratives and laws and psalms
created with both faith and craft,
but ultimately it’s the muses’ charms
that turn the inspiration’s draft
into a record of encounters made
with God by people searching for
a destiny that they cannot evade
by writing, their esprit de corps.
Its manuscript is not illum-
inated, since it comes from ages
that though dark became the wonderwomb
whose generations are its pages.

Roberta Smith writes about the renovation of the medieval galleries in the Metropolitan Museum (“Illuminating the Dark Ages, ” NYT, December 5,2008) :
Of the three great artistic histories that extend for many centuries, and galleries, from the Great Hall at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Byzantine-Medieval epic is the most discreet. The Egyptian and the Greek and Roman wings are signaled by highly visible statues and tombs that start waving hello almost before you clear security. In contrast, the story of art starting in Bronze-Age Europe lies mostly out of sight in galleries that lie beside and behind the Grand Staircase…. As part of the Met’s original, central structure, the new Medieval Art gallery has always been a heavily trafficked intersection. It shouldn’t really work as a gallery of sacred art and yet it does. Its many small objects draw you close, away from the bustle, into a realm where craft, faith and narrative were

I, John

(words & music by william j. gaither)
Oh well, i, john, he saw might numbers
A way up in the middle of the air
I, john he saw might numbers
Way in the middle of the air
Got to mighty move, john, you saw mighty numbers
Way up in the middle of the air
Well there were three gates in the east
And there were three gates in the west
Three gates in the north
Three gates in the south
And that makes twelve gates to the city all square wide
John, you saw might numbers way up in the middle of the air
Well john declared that he saw a man
He held twelve bright stars in his right hand
Well his eyes flashed fire like the burning sun
Old john got scared and he wanted to run
Well he wanted to run but his feet wouldnt go
Cause he felt the gospel cutting like a two-edged sword
And he heard a voice that said john, you take a look
And read what you see and then you write it in a book
And he saw twelve angels in the east
And there were twelve angels in the west
Twelve angels in the north,
Twelve angels in the south
Thats a total of forty-eight angels to the city, four squared wide

Weeping angels

Down from heaven
to show the way to paradise
for the newly dead
the angels weep

So young
so innocent
so senseless
the angels weep

Eyes down
wings at there sides
words not exchanged
the angels weep

32 new angels
no need to earn there wings
like jesus they died for other peoples sins
in heaven they will weep

In heaven they will be called apon
to one day escort the new to paradise
and they will

With eyes down
wings at there sides
and tears in there eyes
weeping forever

God bless all who lost there lives today
and there familys
America loves you
and your scarfice will not be forgotten

The Comrades

The angels walk with men in the red ruin and rain,
White and gold, as of old, without spot or stain.
Our warriors fought and died, the white lords by their side.
The angels walk with men.

God doth not forget in the battle, the retreat;
The heart of Love's above the dying and the slain.
There's a ladder to the skies and, armed from Paradise,
The angels walk with men.

Foot-soldiers, cavaliers, the flame on their spears,
They sweep fast in haste o'er the bloody plain.
What ill shall betide us with the winged knights beside us?
The angels walk with men.

Golden-mailed, lance in arm, they ride on the storm --
Michael and a poor soldier are comrades twain!
Oh, in the noise of battle, the red roar and the rattle,
The angels walk with men!

This Garden Of Eden

The garden of eden, was made
by God,
Adam, the first man, to ever
trod.

Beautiful trees, and plants
grew there,
Adam was happy, without a
care.

Tree of Life, and Knowledge
too,
Planted, in the garden grew.

The tree of Knowledge, God
forbid,
Do not touch, or he would rid.

A lost paradise would occur,
A magic kingdom, all a blur.

One day when Adam fell asleep,
God took a rib, made Eve so
sweet.

Satan came in form of a snake,
Tempted Eve, for goodness sake.

She ate the apple ripe and red,
gave it to Adam, Adam was fed.

A paradise was lost that day,
A working life began this way.

What is your happiness?

happiness for some is a buck and a quarter,
happiness for other is a son or a daughter.
but what is happiness to you?
sure you can define,
if your feeling is such that you're no longer mine.
what is happiness...
and how can it be;
that there was once happiness,
now, no longer seen?
paradise we 'shared'
twas paradise to me,
now the paradise is just that of a flooded dream.
time is of the essance,
but time is what you need.
time to mend a broken heart,
or tear it at the seam.
words unspoken,
one side unheard,
all that your feeling,
is my number one concern.
you thoughts, your feelings this knowledge I yearn,
all that I've spoken, but now it's your turn.

Angels

Take this man to prison, the man heard herod say,
And then four squads of soldiers came and carried him away.
Chained up between two watchmen, peter tried to sleep,
But beyond the walls an endless prayer was lifting for his keep.
Then a light cut through the darkness of a lonely prison cell,
And the chains that bound the man of God just opened up and fell,
And running to his people before the break of day,
There was only one thing on his mind, only one thing to say:
Angels watching over me, every move I make,
Angels watching over me!
Angels watching over me, every step I take,
Angels watching over me!
God only knows the times my life was threatened just today.
A reckless car ran out of gas before it ran my way.
Near misses all around me, accidents unknown,
Though I never see with human eyes the hands that lead me home.
But I know theyre all around me all day and through the night.
When the enemy is closing in, I know sometimes they fight
To keep my fight from falling, Ill never turn away.
If youre asking whats protecting me then youre gonna hear me say:
Got his angels watching over me, every move I make,
Angles watching over me!
Angels watching over me, every step I take,
Angels watching over me....
Angels watching over me....
Angels watching over me.
Got his angels watching over me, every move I make,
Angels watching over me!

Overnight Angels

(ian hunter)
In the heat of the indian summer
Out along the appalachian way
You can hear the sound of the overnight angels
As they pray
Charged by the light of some mariners lantern
Spitting out a cold but triangular spray
Cant you hear the screams of the overnight angels
As they play
Talking to the spirits through a silver curtain
Reaching out beyond the length of the light
You can catch a glimpse of an overnight angel
As he shines
Dancing through the toys of the dead and the living
Laughing at the poets changing their rhymes
Cant you feel the pulse of the overnight angels
Beating time
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels angels angels
Children of the junkies led the revolution
Push yourselves over get yourselves there
Someone throw their arms round the overnight angels
Cause they care
Angels dont need no phony religion
Throw them out along with the ethnic nowheres
They will never speak to the overnight angels
They can only stare
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels angels angels angels
