Cinderellas Ride
Cinderellas ride
Oh Jack O'Lantern burning bright
A carriage you will be this very night
To seek you out and lay a trail
To find her love, she will not fail.
This carriage she will doubtless find,
Made by a fairy with spell to bind.
Four mice were changed to pull the thing.
She tried to teach them, but they couldn't sing.
To the castle, the carriage then will fly
Up the staircase she'll be by and by.
In a room at the top where the ball is held
Together they danced and he excelled
Danced and danced as much as they could
Ignoring all while on the hardwood
She knew of her fate should she stay too late
What godmothers create end when out on a date
She had to leave quick, said she was sick
Then ran from the prince ending this frolic
In her speed to depart, she left a small part
A little glass slipper and a piece of her heart
The prince tried and tried, but no foot could be tied
Into the glass slipper he held at his side
Until the day he went a bit astray
And placed on the foot of this lovely chambermaid
It was a fit to be tied so then at his side
Came the lovely Cinderella as they went outside
There next to his carriage was a little disparage
A Jack O Lantern and four mice ready to trudge

Cinderella
Written by j. kimball and d. vidal, 1984
Found on perspective.
I was out last night having a ball
And comin home, I wasnt thinkin nothin at all
And there on the sidewalk what did I see
A little glass slipper starin back at me
Cinderella (cinderella)
Well Im not superstitious but Im smarter than I seem
And I knew it was love, if you know what I mean
When I saw that slipper it occurred to me
The shoe fit her and she fit me
Cinderella (cinderella)
Cinderella (cinderella)
When I find her it will be
A fairy tale for her and me
I will never let her go
Cinderella
Now the other girls hold no fascination for me
I just think of her wherever she may be
I will search my whole life through
cause no one else will ever do
Cinderella (cinderella)
Cinderella (cinderella)
When I find her it will be
A fairy tale for her and me
I will never let her go
She will give my heart a home
Until that day Ill be alone
With just a slipper and a dream

Promise Me Reality
Prince Charming and a Princess
Beauty and the Beast
Fairy tales not promised
Broken hearts to say the least
Magical pumpkins and castles
A promise for the world
An apple that was poisoned
Eaten by a girl
A dragon that was slain
By an olgre of a man
Evil stepsisters
A Princess can hardly stand
A shiny glass slipper
That only fits one
Looking for a girl
Who’s compared to none
A father who’s a frog
An evil tooth fairy
Who only wants one thing
“For her son to be married”
Money and the fortune
Fame has a price
But does that make all
The backstabbing right?
I don’t want the castle
I don’t want the pumpkin carriage
I don’t want Prince Charming
I want the Carrat
I don’t want the stars and the world
I don’t want to live a dream
Forget all the fairy tales
Promise me reality! !

Fairytail life
Im sitting here
Living my life
Thinking about
What it could be
A fantasy
And full of dreams
Something that I can see
Only on the tv screen
If only live was a fairy tail
Id be a princess
And ill have my prince
Although right now
I have him in mind
If only
Life was a fairy tail
I would have
A pretty dress
That all the girls
Would have green eyes for
It would be worn
To the ball
But if only
Life was a fairy tail
The prince shall see me
Tonight and will ask me to dance
Then at midnight I will have to runaway
And the chase begins
As I hide my true identity
To save our love
In this so called fairy tail
If I was Cinderella
I would lose my glass slipper
In the presents of him
For him to find me again
And love me
If only I was a fairy tail
my prince
would find me again
while all the other girls
are tryin to steal him from me
the true Cinderella
And our love would be saved (forever)
I would get married to the prince
So we could live
Happily…ever….after…..
But that is…..
The fairy tail…..
Of…my…life…

Cinderella's Shoes
The ugly sister, Alice,
glared at the mirror with reflected malice;
gave a grin
and blew a bubble;
stroked the stubble
on her chin
and simpered, in unbridled bliss,
'What a charmer I iss! '
adding, with a grimace,
'Who's the prettier, glass face? '
'Cinderella!
Cinderella. Cinderella. Cinderella.
Cinderella. Cinderella.'
The mirror twinkled a little wintry.
'Cinderella. Cinderella....'
The tiny fragments of splintery
glass were swept up by footman Fred.
'What a wolatile woman! ' Fred said.
'A weally, wolatile woman! '
An officer guarded the small glass slipper,
passport to a prince and palace.
(But not for Alice.)
She queezed and pressed and sqealed and swore
and gave a most almighty roar.
More fragments of splintering glass
were swept up by footman Fred.
'What a woracious woman! ' Fred said.
'A most woracious woman! '
Cinderella slipped easily into the other shoe,
was whisked off in a guilded carriage
to a brave new world where her goodness drew
her, to liveried servants and a royal marriage!
And Alice?
She stumbled her bloody way
to a fate far worse than death.
To a tiny cell with walls of mirrors.
Unbreakable, bullet proof, everlasting glass!

32 - Cinderella
Running towards her pumpkin
At the stroke of midnight
Her lost slipper upon the stair
In the silver majestic moonlight
The fairytale turns to dust
As the witching hour begins
Down in the forgotten cellar
Her sorrow and pain she sings
So not to loose her memories of this night’s enchantment
She tearfully produces ink of thoughts onto peasant parchment
Recumbent but weary on her bed of mice invested hay
Crying her self to sleep still and alone Cinderella lay
The next morning prince charming comes round
With the clear glass slipper he had found
A gentleman he lowers down on one knee, while Cinderella sits
Drawing eloquent smiles as the slipper perfectly fits

For All Princesses
Of being a fairytale princess; every little girl has dreams
So real to them, it all really seems
By her mean stepmother, Cinderella was made to work so hard every day
Her fairy godmother helped her out in the best possible way
She met her handsome prince charming at the ball
Losing her glass slipper; on the ladies of the land; he had to call
Everyone of them tried it on their foot
She became a princess without her soot
Snow White cleaned the house for the seven dwarfs in the wood
The wicked queen tried the poison apple trick to kill her; if she could
Into a deep sleep Snow White drifted
From her side the loyal little men; never shifted
Along came her prince; with a kiss awakened her
Living happily ever after; they all were
To prick her finger on a spinning wheel, an evil fairy made
Princess Aurora for one hundred years; asleep, stayed
To break the spell; a good fairy tried
After a great length of time; her prince was by her side
He had broken through the tanglement of branches; that did surround
The castle everywhere
Then he saw sleeping beauty lying there
A princess in a long white gown
On his knee and bending down
Her lips with his; the prince did touch softly
He stepped back; awake, was she
Rejoicement went throughout the land
The prince and princess together did stand
All these fairytale princesses had so many trials to go through
Before their wishes came true
Even the princess who on a mountain of mattresses had to sleep
Her awake all night, this did keep
She proved that she was a princess with a delicate skin; absolutely
As under all the heap of foam was a little pea
My daughter Sarah is a princess to me
That's how it will always be

Cinderella Renewed
there was once a girl I knew
Her name was Cinderella
But Cinderella is way too long
We'll call her just Ella
Ella was a spoilt kid
Oh yes, she was
She rather barks than talks
not someone to cross
Then Gloomy air Spread everywhere
As her mother died with heart attack
All relatives cried at the news
Ella also did, but it was fake
His father married again
The lady had daughters of her own
Beautiful they were, oh yes
Names: Isabella and Sharon
Our Cinderella was very jealous
girls had taken her place, not one but two
Ella wanted to take revenge
From the girls, and their mother too!
But before she could do anything
The handsome prince called a ball
All the maidens were invited
It was to take place in the castle's hall
Excitement arose everywhere
Beautiful looked our Cinderella
But her stepsisters were their too
And their was no match for Isabella
The prince walked in the room
His eyes fell on Isabella
He asked her for a dance
And not our Cinderella
Soon the news spread through the kingdom
Prince and Isabella were to marry, no pretend
But then something happened
The prince chose Cinderella instead!
on the marriage day, bells rang
Ella and prince were coupled
But prince looked so forlorn and sad
As though he had just been crumpled
And as the carriage went, people wondered
What was it, that had dejected him
But we know the truth, that
Cinderella had a revolver to torture him!

The Enchanted Wood (Part 3)
As the door opened, he could see
the room was filled with people.
They looked at him as he entered
everyone smiled saying good evening.
He was ushered to the top of the table
and seated beside a beautiful young woman.
Her smile radiated the room
with light and warmth.
“Hello, you must be Lord Charles
my husband to be.
I am Princess Juliet.”
Her voice flowed through him
like a river of tranquillity.
At first, he was not sure
just what to say to her.
He stumbled over his words
and it made her laugh.
Suddenly he was at ease
and it seemed they were
the only two in the room
and when he looked around,
they were the only two
everyone else had disappeared.
As they chatted he felt at home,
a home he could only have wished for.
They ate and talked
and when they had finished
the food and the dishes disappeared.
Suddenly as if by magic,
an orchestra began playing.
They got up and danced
and danced and danced
into the late evening.
They then took a stroll
into the garden in the moonlight,
walking arm in arm.
They stopped briefly,
where he stole a kiss.
As he awoke the next morning,
he could not remember much
of the night before
only that he had met his princess
and had a wonderful time.
“I am your clothes for today.”
He looked around as the clothes
suddenly threw themselves at him
and suddenly he was dressed.
“I see you are ready M’ Lord.”
“Ready for what? ”
“Your wedding M’ Lord.”
He followed the tall man
down the stairs
and out into the courtyard
where a carriage pulled by six white horses
stood waited for him.
He stopped and looked around
apart from the crowds of people
white doves danced
pirouettes in the sky.
They looked golden
as the sun painted them
with its warming rays.
Flags and pennants of different colours
hung out from everywhere.
From the Cathedral, church bells filled the air
as the carriage moved slowly
along the cobble stone streets
lined with people either side.
He sat and waved at them
through the window of the carriage
as the procession passed.
Within a few minutes,
they arrived at the great city Cathedral.
As he stepped from the carriage,
there seemed a party atmosphere everywhere.
Entering the Cathedral
the serine voices of the choir
rose up to the rafters
as the Cathedral bells
could be heard across the hamlets.
The pews were filled
from front to back.
He stood at the alter
waiting for his bride to be.
He felt that this must be all a dream
and in a moment, he would awake
back to the harsh realities of his life.
Then the organ announced of the brides arrival.
To be concluded

A Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride
Oh what fun it is to see
A carriage drawn by a horse
Still after all these years
You can find them still, of course
For in special towns you can find
A horse drawn carriage to travel in
In New Orleans for instance, folks
So very beautiful with lots of trim
But can you imagine just how
Exciting they were in their day
Perhaps a roof and maybe not
Like riding atop a trailer with hay
So many wonderful styles there were
You can see in museums and such
Fancy some of them really are
With an old-fashioned classic touch
So if you get a chance to see or ride
On a horse drawn carriage some time
Jump at the chance ‘cause you know
It’s the most exciting day you’ll find!

Glass Slipper
She flounced into his private rooms
without a 'by your leave' to woo
and fluttering long eyelashes
had him by her side: News Flashes!
Hot young damsel woos the prince,
she with honeycombed plump lips
sweeter than most sugar candy
dressed in 'Tantalizing Pink'
Roll up, roll up read all about it,
hot young damsel and the Prince,
going out for a late supper.
It's the latest off the press.
They were spotted in a restaurant
small glass slipper in his hand
as he lent across the table
really, do I need expand?
Honeyed damsel tried the slipper
and by Jove, I say, it fit her!
'Marry me' said handsome prince
for the magic slipper fits.
Oh kind sir, said hot young damsel
then I would be Queen sweet man
I will wed you and be married,
P'haps you ought to meet my mam.
Mummy thought she'd caught a good'n
now she's talking to the press
which is how we got this story
Editor was most impressed!

A fairytale life
I am no Cinderella
And I have no knight and shining amour
Nor am I sleeping beauty,
Whose prince woke her with a kiss.
I am simply the girl,
Whose foot the glass slipper did not fit.
The Rapunzel whose hair the prince could not reach.
The mermaid who did not get kissed before sunset on that fatal third day.
My story doesn’t end with a ‘happy ever after’
I’m no princess and my life is no fairytale.
But who needs fairytales
When everything I have, is all I will ever need.

The Giddy Girl
A giddy young maiden with nimble feet,
Heigh-ho! alack and alas!
Declared she would far rather dance than eat,
And the truth of it came to pass.
For she danced all day and she danced all night;
She danced till the green earth faded white;
She danced ten partners out of breath;
She danced the eleventh one quite to death;
And still she redowaed up and down-
The giddiest girl in town.
With one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three-kick;
Chassée back, chassée back, whirl around quick.
The name of this damsel ended with E-
Heigh-ho! alack and a-day!
And she was as fair as a maiden need be,
Till she danced her beauty away.
She danced her big toes out of joint;
She danced her other toes all to a point;
She danced out slipper and boot and shoe;
She danced till the bones of her feet came through.
And still she redowaed, waltzed and whirled-
The giddiest girl in the world.
With one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three-kick;
Chassée back, chassée back, whirl around quick.
Now the end of my story is sad to relate-
Heigh-ho! and away we go!
For this beautiful maiden's final fate
Is shrouded in gloom and woe.
She danced herself into a patent top;
She whirled and whirled till she could not stop;
She danced and bounded and sprang so far,
That she stuck at last on a pointed star;
And there she must dance till the Judgment Day,
And after it, too, for she danced away
Her soul, you see, so she has no place anywhere out of space,
With her one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three-kick;
Chassée back, chassée back, whirl about quick.

Abused Cinderella
Cinderella was a nice gal
Always did what she was told
Put others before herself
Cinderella had lots of hopes and dreams
One day in the town she heard of the ball
CInderella wanted to go
Really really bad
Her step mom gave her touble
Her sisters were ok
But she never went
Beucase no one cared
Poor cinderella cried
Dreams really don't come true
Fairytales are fake
Cinderella never found her prince
She never really went to any ball
She lost all her hopes and dreams in life
Cinderella never got a granted wish
Poor cinderella
True love never found her
When she was old
Cinderella died an old maid
When Cinderella went to heaven
She was treated like a real princess
Angels planed a ball for her
And made her a pretty white gown
Jesus danced with her
Then he took her by the hand
And led her to her handsome chosen prince
It was all worth the shattered hopes
And dreams in life
To have a fairytale ending in heaven

The Fairy Of Light
Some say that fairies don't exist!
Yet children know they do!
That's why their legends still persist,
Perhaps you've heard them, too!
If not, then listen to the tale,
Of one sweet fairy girl
With hair of gold yet skin so pale
Her face looked like a pearl...
Near to the Palace, there she danced
And then her wings took flight...
A Prince who saw her watched entranced,
'Well done, Fairy of Light! '
And though quite shy, she had to smile,
For compliments were rare
And when she landed in a while,
She waited for him there...
And pretty soon love cast its spell,
Romance was utter bliss,
Such that before they said farewell
They shared a tender kiss!
Her wings fell off, her magic gone!
For she was mortal now,
Yet still they kissed and carried on,
Oblivious somehow...
The Prince felt sorry, held her hand
And then caressed her cheek
And tried to make her understand
That she was still unique...
And so they wed and danced each night,
In love for all to see,
The Prince and the Fairy of Light,
In perfect harmony...

Cinderella
I guess you think you know this story.
You don't. The real one's much more gory.
The phoney one, the one you know,
Was cooked up years and years ago,
And made to sound all soft and sappy
just to keep the children happy.
Mind you, they got the first bit right,
The bit where, in the dead of night,
The Ugly Sisters, jewels and all,
Departed for the Palace Ball,
While darling little Cinderella
Was locked up in a slimy cellar,
Where rats who wanted things to eat,
Began to nibble at her feet.
She bellowed 'Help!' and 'Let me out!
The Magic Fairy heard her shout.
Appearing in a blaze of light,
She said: 'My dear, are you all right?'
'All right?' cried Cindy .'Can't you see
'I feel as rotten as can be!'
She beat her fist against the wall,
And shouted, 'Get me to the Ball!
'There is a Disco at the Palace!
'The rest have gone and I am jealous!
'I want a dress! I want a coach!
'And earrings and a diamond brooch!
'And silver slippers, two of those!
'And lovely nylon panty hose!
'Done up like that I'll guarantee
'The handsome Prince will fall for me!'
The Fairy said, 'Hang on a tick.'
She gave her wand a mighty flick
And quickly, in no time at all,
Cindy was at the Palace Ball!
It made the Ugly Sisters wince
To see her dancing with the Prince.
She held him very tight and pressed
herself against his manly chest.
The Prince himself was turned to pulp,
All he could do was gasp and gulp.
Then midnight struck. She shouted,'Heck!
I've got to run to save my neck!'
The Prince cried, 'No! Alas! Alack!'
He grabbed her dress to hold her back.
As Cindy shouted, 'Let me go!'
The dress was ripped from head to toe.
She ran out in her underwear,
And lost one slipper on the stair.
The Prince was on it like a dart,
He pressed it to his pounding heart,
'The girl this slipper fits,' he cried,
'Tomorrow morn shall be my bride!
I'll visit every house in town
'Until I've tracked the maiden down!'
Then rather carelessly, I fear,
He placed it on a crate of beer.
At once, one of the Ugly Sisters,
(The one whose face was blotched with blisters)
Sneaked up and grabbed the dainty shoe,
And quickly flushed it down the loo.
Then in its place she calmly put
The slipper from her own left foot.
Ah ha, you see, the plot grows thicker,
And Cindy's luck starts looking sicker.
Next day, the Prince went charging down
To knock on all the doors in town.
In every house, the tension grew.
Who was the owner of the shoe?
The shoe was long and very wide.
(A normal foot got lost inside.)
Also it smelled a wee bit icky.
(The owner's feet were hot and sticky.)
Thousands of eager people came
To try it on, but all in vain.
Now came the Ugly Sisters' go.
One tried it on. The Prince screamed, 'No!'
But she screamed, 'Yes! It fits! Whoopee!
'So now you've got to marry me!'
The Prince went white from ear to ear.
He muttered, 'Let me out of here.'
'Oh no you don't! You made a vow!
'There's no way you can back out now!'
'Off with her head!'The Prince roared back.
They chopped it off with one big whack.
This pleased the Prince. He smiled and said,
'She's prettier without her head.'
Then up came Sister Number Two,
Who yelled, 'Now I will try the shoe!'
'Try this instead!' the Prince yelled back.
He swung his trusty sword and smack
Her head went crashing to the ground.
It bounced a bit and rolled around.
In the kitchen, peeling spuds,
Cinderella heard the thuds
Of bouncing heads upon the floor,
And poked her own head round the door.
'What's all the racket? 'Cindy cried.
'Mind your own bizz,' the Prince replied.
Poor Cindy's heart was torn to shreds.
My Prince! she thought. He chops off heads!
How could I marry anyone
Who does that sort of thing for fun?
The Prince cried, 'Who's this dirty slut?
'Off with her nut! Off with her nut!'
Just then, all in a blaze of light,
The Magic Fairy hove in sight,
Her Magic Wand went swoosh and swish!
'Cindy! 'she cried, 'come make a wish!
'Wish anything and have no doubt
'That I will make it come about!'
Cindy answered, 'Oh kind Fairy,
'This time I shall be more wary.
'No more Princes, no more money.
'I have had my taste of honey.
I'm wishing for a decent man.
'They're hard to find. D'you think you can?'
Within a minute, Cinderella
Was married to a lovely feller,
A simple jam maker by trade,
Who sold good home-made marmalade.
Their house was filled with smiles and laughter
And they were happy ever after.

Glass Slippered Shoes
I know thats not going to happen.
I know it wont be okay.
But Im running out of words.
And things to say.
My hearts just not in it.
And Im so full of guilt.
I want to be a friend.
Break the wall Ive built.
Theres a line I must cross.
And a path I need to take.
But I dont have a map.
Its all up to fate.
But I know you need me.
You need me as a friend.
Im just waiting for,
this fairytale to end.
Your cinderella with your,
glass slipered shoes.
You danced with Prince Charming.
And he searched the world for you.
I was the servant.
Cleaning up the ball.
I wore peasent clothes.
Was trapped inside the halls.
But midnights struck away.
And now your just like me.
Cleaning up messes.
Just like it use to be.
But in real life.
Im still waiting for new day.
Midnight hasnt come.
You havent faded away.
Because Im not Cinderella.
I dont deserve a friend like you.
I didnt dance with a Prince.
Or wear glass slippered shoes.

A Man & A Woman
And the band began to play, without a song theyd lose their way
A song of love and custom dreams, a song of yesterday
When they danced, when they danced, her skirts were lifted high
She felt the music in his arms, the danger in his eyes
And a woman said no, and a man said but I love you so
And a woman moved closer, and a man said take my love into your heart
I must have you here by my side
It happened all too fast, they came to love and they came to last
No-one remembers now who lied, true love is made of glass
And a woman said change, and a man said as soon as I can
And a woman said open up, and a man said
Your ways right, youre my love, I wont be holdin you down
In the evening of their lives, no regrets and clear blue skies
They meet again in old new york, he tells her one sweet lie
And they danced and they danced, and a man said I love you so
And a woman moved closer, and a man said take my love into your heart
I must have you here by my side

5. A Happy Ending
Champagne party popping corks
People meeting having talks
Moonlight shining having walks
On her dance card names she chalks
Take the floor with people dancing
Many beaus their arms are chancing
Hoping for some fine romancing
Ladies over masks are glancing
Fancy ball-gown’s what a sight
Swirling round throughout the night
Twelve o’clock strikes one take’s flight
From the prince as change she might
Through the garden as she rushes
Lost a slipper by some bushes
Cannot stop so onward rushes
Breathing heavy face now flushes
Prince goes searching far and wide
For slippers foot to fit inside
Cinderella’s foot he tried
And she became the prince’s bride

If This Were a Fairy Tale
you say that you like me
but you say that we cant
be together for now
but lets take a chance?
in the book titled 'your life'
im just another chapter
this isnt a fairy tale
so i cant promise a 'happily ever after'
but if this were a fairy tale
it would be alice in wonderland
so much craziness going on
can you really understand?
she fell into a sleep and
escaped from the world she knew
i wanna BE that outlet
help you find something totally new
probably your hurting
like totally confused
from a past-time with someone
that left you feeling worthless and used
so then youll be like cinderella
screw the evil stepsisters
sneak out at night
come and get your glass slipper
he will be waiting for you
clasping the other slipper in hand
like the start of a new begininng
the other shoe helps you stand
and even at the midnight stroke
when your riches vanish into thin air
he still chases after you
no matter how sloppy you clothes, he doesnt care
so you say you like me
but you say that we cant
be together for now
but when your ready, lets take that chance
I Kissed A Frog
i lost my glass slipper
well really a shoe
but a prince didnt find it
so whats a girl to do
i kissed a frog
but it hopped away
no prince for me
no not today
fairytales are simply tales
and frogs are not for kissing
but without a little romance
something would be missing
so kiss the frog
lose the shoe
okay to be a romantic fool
and if your prince turns into a frog
just leave him sitting on a log
