The beating of the waves...

The waves beat on the sand before it,
Crashing in with a roar and splash,
Owning the beach for its self
It owns nothing else then the open space
That reaches to end of the earth
Into ports, rivers and lakes
The water an unmatched force,
Taking and living life
In the shallows to the deep

Coated in scenic colours,
In blue and greens and gold
Majestic and effortless,
The waves sweep in on the beach,
Engulfing anything that floats,
Moving with the wind,
Nothing is more powerful,
Unpredictable,
Then the rising waves of the seas

I don't go tanning anymore because Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning. McCain would never put a 10 percent tax on tanning. Because he's pale and would probably want to be tan.

In Gordon bay

There’s a light breeze blowing
and the waves
have white horses,
where they splash on the beach.

I can smell the freshness
of the sea
and hear it breaking
and breathing,
on the other side
of the street.

The chef is frying
some sea-pike on an open grill
and is chilling
a bottle of JC Le Roux champagne.

The sun is falling hot
next to the cold blue pool
and your body shines,
from the sun tan lotion
and you tan reading a book.

I splash into the pool
and you look up annoyed
for a moment,
before you slip into the water.

I feel free with you with me
and even the beach
and the sea
can wait for a better day
and everything is really great.

In her Wings Yonder

Of colored rainbow
A drizzle soft for slumber
Peeled herslef from the sun
A sparkling margestic fairy
A bird in honeyed voice
In a sandy beach I sit
Waves recoile and splosh splash
She makes spice of chocolate voice
She laughs and in water she plays
In unison the birds fly and chorus
Colours fly and swim
Her garment of rainbow I'm enwrapped
Carried I fly over
All in her wings Yonder.

Under A Blanket Of Stars

As we walked along the beach, crashing waves
thundered in our ears and a light, salted mist,
dampened our lips.

The sun began to set and the voice of the beach,
traveled across the ocean waves.

'I am the beach, and here you shall find peace.
I am the beach, here you shall find love.

In this domain, my beach, the answers you
search for, could very well be found here.
For at this beach, there is much,
that has been revealed.

The sparkled, white grains of sand, that blanket
this beach, has been a bed of comfort, to many.

Pause, as you come upon this beach, and listen
to the symphony of waves and the chorus of
birds, singing their song, as they glide in the wind.

Feel the power of this beach, as it seems to
renew your inner being. You need not question
the beach and its mystical powers. For as
millions before you have found, the beach...
and its magical transference to one...have
existed, since the beginning of time.

Be not troubled, for the beach is close at
hand. You need only to deliver your strife,
to the tranquility of the beach and it shall
be exercised from you.

When you go from this beach...leave with
the peace that you have found here.'

Port Fairy In January

Port Fairy in January on a warm and humid saturday
The beach full of people the young splash and play
In the shallows where the small waves splash onto the beach
In a place safe to swim where the life savers can reach
Anyone who gets in trouble and for help have to shout
To the beach for safety they will drag them out
And if necessary so give them mouth to mouth
The worth of the Life Saver is never in doubt
In the prime of the Summer at the start of the New Year
When people still enjoy the Seasonal cheer
Ageing and younger people and many girl and boy
A dip in salt-water do seem to enjoy
People of all ages and colours and mostly every Race
Make Port Fairy in January quite a busy place.

I called you on the phone
You knew it was me all along
You didn't even say hello
Cause you don't need words to let me know
All the things that you do to me
You fulfill my every fantasy
Splash - I'm under your power
Splash - I could go for hours
Splash - You could devour me
And I'd only want you more
Oh, when you make love to me
There's things I never thought I'd see
I cherish [...]
[...] in every sea
Oh, I love when you play with me
Ask your mom if you could stay with me
Splash - I'm under your power
Splash - I could go for hours
Splash - You could devour me
And I'd only want you more
Our love is a rhythm
Together we'll have so much fun
You go from room to room
Leaving traces of your sweet perfume
If I could I'd bottle it
Everybody should know the feelin' I get
When I'm in your cool embrace
Your lips, your arms, your legs, your face
Splash - I'm under your power
Splash - I could go for hours
Splash - You could devour me
And I'd only want you more
I want you more and more and more
Splash

BEACH

On the beach, egrets sleep, peacefully curled together.
Waves roaring and waves wildness wipe on the beach.
The moon is reflected on the water.
This scene could bring a person close with GOD,

Memories Of The Beach

We went to the beach to get wind in our hair
to stand on the sand and simply to stare.
To let the surf tickle toes and dampen our clothes
as we played 'run away'
from the wavelets at play.

We went to the beach to climb on the rocks
find cool shallow pools where we'd take of our socks,
and peer in the waters to see what we might find
that the waves of the sea,
had last left behind.

We went to the beach to find coloured shells
the kind that when placed to our ears
make the sound of the ocean appear,
and gathered rocks that we never would find
in the places we walked,
for most of the time.

We went to the beach and all that, we did find
and the smell of the salt refreshed our tired minds.
I'll never forget the laughter and sounds
and the freedom to run,
on that wet sandy ground.

We went to the beach my family and I
and there we were one,
with the ocean, the beach, and the sky.

Its Just Me

J. bon jovi
You know your favorite old pair of shoes
The ones with the hole in the toe you wont lose
Your favorite record thats all scratched and used
But still you love to play when your feeling blue
That faded rose thats all dried out
Those bukowski poems we couldnt live without
Your high school pic when you had wild hair
That stormy day on the beach that got us here
Oh, you better believe theres just one thing you need
Cant you see...
Its just me baby
Its just me baby
If theres just one thing that you should keep
In your book of dreams
Its just me baby
Just like a shadow 10 feet tall
Standing right behind you should you fall
Ill be the one to hold you up to walk
When this wicked world makes us want to crawl
Abd if your waves should ever break at sea
Ill be there waiting, Im that sandy beach
Im that same old dog, scratching those same fleas
Ill be by your side, you can count on me
Its just me baby
Its just me baby
If theres just one thing that you should keep
In your book of dreams
Its just me baby
Its just me baby
Whats it gonna take to make you see
Whats it gonna take til you believe in me
Oh, how my smile fades and my heart just breaks
Every time you go away
Its just me baby
Its just me baby
If theres just one thing that you should keep
In your book of dreams
Its just me baby
Its just me baby
Whats it gonna take to make you see
Whats it gonna take til you believe in me
And if someday some new memory comes along
Looking shiny new, feeling really strong
You can tell him that Ill tell him
He can just move on
Im a fighter - Ive been fighting for you all night long
Its just me baby

Glass Beach

Glass Beach

Waves gently crash
in distant froths salty brine
on drawback sand.

Beach pebbles rattle
smooth curved and worn
upon shoreline wash.

People gossip.
saunter back to vans
full of sandy hope

and scratched legs
with brush off hands
on sunburn red.

Fish swim batter fat
to be served with chips
and curry pot sauce.

An alcoholic sea
laps upon a beach
of glass broken bottles.

Enchant

The waves roll up the shore
across a sandy beach
as couples watch the waters
weave in between their toes.
The moonlight bathes them
as they walk along the shore.
The sun has rested its head
within a glowing sunset
that fired up the evening sky
leaving the moon to enchant
the lovers as they walked by
along the sandy shore,
leaving only their footprints
to be washed away for ever more.

Sandy

Sandy's the beach
And Sandy was her name,
The place we laid, and played,
Little lovers games.

Together we sat, Sandy and I
Upon the flowing edge of the great sea,
Finding our souls, while
Discovering how to fly free.

The summer's over now
Those days are done,
We've grown, and flown,
And left our youthful fun...
Upon a lonely shore of the setting sun.

how that Sunday ended

the waves are bigger than my dreams
i sit on the sandy shore waiting

you come like a shadow of an afternoon Sunday
broad and firm and strong as you claim yourself
in a name carved in stone

it is late and i am weak

you run to the sea and plunge yourself
you wave your hand before that

i am looking at the horizon

and then the sunset completes itself
with your silence
in that single splash

i think it is horrible but on the other hand
it is divine

i cannot remember how that Sunday ends
i will again say it ends with the splash and then the edifying silence

let me stop and think awhile, a moment of silence

how can i tell you that there is this deleted version of the story
in trembling i arrive home and then i scream
