Internal combustion engine exhaust noise encroaches on my sleep.
The first punks of principle could've used a dash of turpentine,
wash out their prickly pride there and then before the next generation
came along and left all the lights on.
It's never really dark in London, not outside anyway.

For Human Greed
We may as well try to find another Planet to live on
Since people they cannot live on the Moon
And Mother Earth the Planet that sustains us
We in our fits of madness choose to ruin.
And perhaps there's not another Planet out there
For human beings to live on and destroy
'Twould seem indeed that the price of human progress
Comes at a cost and the cost seems far too high.
Each day more creatures of extinction endangered
When the land they live on we choose to invade
And extinction sad to say it is forever
For human greed the price has to be paid.
We are paving the way to our own extinction
Where humans live pollution becomes rife
The World will not end with the death of the last human
And Nature will do nicely without human life.
We had better find another Planet to live on
Or become extinct as a species that's our choice
As we are making the Planet we live on for us quite unlivable
For human greed that seems too high a price.

The Price For Our Greed
Human Beings have invented computers and walked on the moon
But the Planet we live on we are trying to ruin
The greed of our kind may well be our downfall
We are not as great or as clever as we think we are after all
The natural beauty around us is for us all to enjoy
Yet the Planet that feeds us we are trying to destroy
Due to our carbon emissions the Polar Ice Caps melting causing sea levels to rise
We who think we are clever are not very wise
'Tis mostly of the economic depression we read of and hear
And climate change is something we do not seem to fear
Due to pollution the climate is changing from north to southern shore
Yet the warnings of Nature we tend to ignore
Global warming giving rise to climate change and it seems sad to say
That the price for our greed may be huge for to pay.

Every Life Form
Every life form that lives on this Planet serves Nature in some sort of a way
And no life form in truth is vermin despite what some do think or say
Each life form is there for some purpose whatever that purpose may be
For the worth of each individual species ask one with more knowledge of Nature than me
In a World of over six billion people the pressure on Nature's life forms is great
Pollution and destruction of habitat of many life forms have sealed the fate
Removal of trees for development, pollution of air, sea and land
It surely is at our own peril if Nature we don't try to understand
For human pollution of the environment the price for us all huge to pay
More water-ways are being polluted more trees are removed every day
When we disrespect our natural environment disrespect for ourselves we do show

Chase of money, wealth and money power
Lands human being in grief and despair.
The greed for the duo is quite insatiable
To achieve contentment, he can not be able.
Chase of ultimate power too is quite dangerous
The journey for the same is too much perilous.
Near absolute power, may it be money or muscle
Creates optimum enemies ready to him jostle.
Extreme of anything is often disastrous,
The best possible policy suggested Confucious
For mortal beings to adopt path golden middle,
Best it is to eat sugar being an ant little.
Money and also muscle are nodoubt necessary

The earth is filled with the glory of God
As the waters cover the sea

If you want to know what it means to be happy, look at a flower, a bird, a child; they are perfect images of the kingdom. For they live from moment to moment in the eternal now with no past and no future. So they are spared the guilt and anxiety that so torment human beings and they are full of the sheer joy of living, taking delight not so much in persons or things as in life itself. As long as your happiness is caused or sustained by something or someone outside of you, you are still in the land of the dead. The day you are happy for no reason whatsoever, the day you find yourself taking delight in everything and in nothing, you will know that you have found the land of unending joy called the kingdom.

Every time I wake up and find myself in this place
As my hands run up to my face
To rub the drowsiness out of my eye
