Borderlines
Beyond the limit of 'ourselves'
Beyond the making and the undoing of our tongues
Borderlines
No need for ritual here
No need for argument
The blank posters
The blind accomplishment
These borderlines
Leading
Seeking to
Unseeking
Unmet
Naked disguises of
Relinquishment
Of 'only in having'
Having nothing at all!
The surveillance of our lives twenty four seven
Crowds small
Names lettered small
Numbers
Digits
Uncomposed/Our hollow dearest illusions
Looking for 'holy'
Unseeking
Disregarded
Making ' minds citadel shine'
These thin borderlines
Between nothing
And nothing at all
Signs?
Your letters ride out shaky
In a dying light
And tomorrow?
Who knows

God Of Thunder
The lakes blue ripples display their gleam
Sun rays reflecting upon them with ease
Small to minute current rolls
But with naked eye barely seen
The shoreline was edged uneven
With sand and rock making borderlines
Drawing the earths natural seperation's
Of the water and the sod-So Divine
The electricity arrived in thin air's ozone
And thunder claps-in the distance borne
Soon-the lightening flash could be seen
Striking the lakes blue gleam
Flashing zig-zags of lightening bolts
Echoing Thor's Thudding screams!

The importance
The important have learnt to disagree,
That is what is important
To find some consolation in division
[there is no I]
And every force makes sense
And every argument disputes
[there is no I]
In the beginning
They strive against the perpetual tide
And finding hope, in hopeless resoloutions
In vain naming a name
Making fiction
[ never really free]
What is freedom?
All illusions present possibilities
Their aim is to overturn a system
That made them
After epitaphs
Embracing only air and anonymity
Being.....
Wanting only nothing
Another name for?

These words
These words will be gone tomorrow
They steal the numbers from the streets
Til every door looks the same
These words like candles will burn out
They steal the light from temporary souls
Soon, too soon
They will bury the love
Under the tongues of yesterdays softness
As if they never were, more
As if they hunger still
There is no promise
No everlasting
And every eternal door
Always looks the same
They look
Tomorrow we will walk away
As if, when these words were gone
We forget, yes we forget
Still, that they ever came
And yet, they carry on!

In Translation
Arriving with no intepretator
Leaving with signals and signs
On the elevator
In the pressed drudged crowds
Filled by the strangeness of infatuation
Your first arrival
Under the flash of a neon ray
Leaving with the wrong signs
In your back pocket
The price tags and the labels
As if heaven was an eternal shopping mall
And hell was a supermarket checkout queue
Missing the signs and the cues
Leaving in an unfamiliar way
Unexpected
The wisest words are always spoken by children
Before reading and learning

Light
It dazzles in a clear night
Made clearer still
By artificial rays
Making a path to guide us home
It is a beacon
A bright halo of hope
A candle of warmth and sentiment
It makes love sound heavenly
Makes our journey safe and full
As if it were a divine hand resting on our shoulders
Without it
The stars would dim and fade out
The sky fill with darkness
The lamp would retreat
Into formlessness
The sky would be lost to the darkness
There would be no sun
No moon
The soul would close up and die
Even noise or speech or sound
Would be senseless
detached and barren
All things living sleeping
Light
In the beginning there was light
All living things followed
And these were only the signs leading homewards

nonsense is an 'Art
The 'Art' of the 'ridiculous' is to be somewhat meticulous
In chosing, 'certain words'
To capture the Absurd'
The artus riducularus
Is to find something hilarious,
Perhaps in a scattering on silly names
A certain gait a wibbly stutter
The art of the ridiculous
Lyes in being quite meticulous
In making nonsense ryhme
And every dirty star can shine
Though fallen from it's holy shrine
Still glimmers in the gutter

If
If I did not carry you to me
Gently
weaving my minds imagination upon you
Like a photograph
Or go to hold you in my arms
Or carry this water to the rivers edge
Where you lay
And have always been
If I did not call attention to these things
My sweet imaginings of
That rest upon you
In my gentle kindling
Of birds wings
Somehow nesting
Somewhere
Making calling
Home over rough terrain
This emptiness
Would in these shells made mine
Echo back
To me
The muse
Of my yearnings
Turning
The swiftness of one life
Upon the untouched air
Unreachable
I could not define
You
who have rested here before me
After my dreams
Running wildly away

Let Your Light Shine Out
Let your light shine out
make it big and bright
Let your light shine out
deep into the night.
Let Your Light Shine
Let your light shine out
for the whole world to see,
like a flower as pretty as can be.
Yes, let your light shine out
making it spread about
to every creature & everyone
making it a happier place under the sun.

Submission
I submit myself to these things
The 'small talk' on the sidewalk
The eyes that survey a thousand faces
Without question
The measure of my self and men
The day hangs impatiently outside
Unchanged
I cannot rearrange the sky
Or measure a world in an hourglass
Yet something must give
In all these acts of living
Is this it?
Letting the mask slip
As the light falls to the window
Uncurl words
Unpaint the feelings
Is it possible just to live
Let life in, under the so many illusions made?
Submit to these other things?
That do not ask anything of us
But just let the day in
The world unfold beneath our feet
Shall we begin
Again?

The letter says
Words, lingustic signatures
They are on most days irrelevant
But there are many uses for the letter F
On bad days it fires itself
Small pellets
Resonating sounds
Beats an onaematapeic drum
Bouncing from the buccal of the mouth
On to the Flat Fat surface
Of the tongue
A resonating Gun
Listen,
Can you hear it fall quickly?
How one F ing letter
Cracks the sentence?
The daily drudge of making reason sing
In symmetry with time
Hearing nothing then...
But on a bad day, this is ffffffffffffffffffffff ing
Poetry......
So let its 'ruddy hue' replace the 'blush'
Of P'S and Q's and all that 'Fuss! '

Forsaken
Now The Day Has Come
We Are Forsaken This Time
We Lived Our lives
In Our Paradise
As Gods We Shaped The World Around
No Borderlines
We Stayed Behind
No Boundaries Is Something Fragile
Well We Thought We Were Gaining
We Turned Back The Time
It Still Slips Away
Our Time Has Run Out
Our Future Has Died
There's No More Escape
Chorus
Now The Day Has Come
We Are Forsaken
There's No Time Any More
Life Will Pass Us By
We Are Forsaken
We're The Last Of Our Kind
The Sacrifice
Was Much To Hide
Our Grief Just Made Us All Go On
We Try To Hide What We Fear Inside
Today Is The End Of Tomorrow
As The Sea Started Rise
And The Land That We Conquered
It Just Washed Away
We All Have Tried
To Turn Back The Time
It Was All In Vain
Chorus
Now The Day Has Come
We Are Forsaken
There's no Time Anymore
Life Will Pass You By
We Are Forsaken
Only Rules Stay Below
"Een Hoop Gebrabbel"
Now The Day Has Come
We Are Forsaken This Time
Now The Day Has Come
We Are Forsaken
There's No Time Any More
Now The Day Has Come,
The Day Has Come

It Will Be A Good Day
Anderson/squire/howe/white/sherwood/khoroshev
Golden forest golden lake
Sanctuary, state of grace
I will find reason a place to begin
It will be a good day
Beginning is one place i've been before
Watching the sunrise on the silver shores
Setting me free again leading the way
It will be a good day
Sometimes i forget
How mighty this earth
Astounding winter skies
Truth is in birth
Peace that it brings to me, my naked eyes
Be a good day
Make me believe again
Making me free again
Making me see again
Golden mountains golden seas
A thousand reasons singing to me
Alive to this message
Realising it all
Be a good day
Learning to listen learning to see
Learning is power making me free
Free to believe again in my human side
Giving me good reason
Giving me good reason
(come tomorrow)
Make me believe again
(destiny)
(take the river)
Making me free again
(to the sea)
(come tomorrow)
Making me see again
(will be free)
Like a river
Time feels so much closer now
You are with me, so real
We make our own heaven
Clear through the sky
The making of reason for you and i
I sing of each season
Making us feel
This will be a good day
This will be a good day
(come tomorrow)
Make me believe again
(destiny)
(take the river )
Making me free again
(to the sea)
(come tomorrow)
Making me see again

Like a river to the sea
Make me believe again
Making me free again

This poem is a gift
Free words
Under the stench of a barbed wire world
Flowers that live on
After the flowers have been blown from the graves
In the midst of war
These words are a gift
A balm for the poor hungry mouth
To feed on
After the nightmare of carnage
Of lines written in blood
On broken walls
Where fathers and their families lie
Still and swollen in unmarked plots
These words are a gift
They are free
Washing the wounds
Making speech live on
Even after so much darkness
They are the lightness
Bringing light

Fever
He was enquiring
meticulous in note taking
Scrawled amensiac letters and
Night sweat
And blurring of
visions thinly partitioned
masked
Under a moist skein
Of white light
Floating falling
Veiled
Blind apparitions
mad genius
symmetry and
Harmony
And broken chord
untimed
hand clapped out
synch
They said
fever
Leaves limbs
dangling flower heads
Wilting away from
The centre
decentralising
And decoding
sense
on sense
And white lights fading into
morning
curtained off
sealed slept in
These other seeing eyes
These other lives lived
Before waking

A painting a hieroglyphic an epitaph
I painted the trees as birds in flight
Wings pressed against the hour glass
The bird clock stirring
Under the television light
And the ' green bush' was a green bush
And the bush was a bright ray of light burning
I held my passion
Claimed a name for naming
Untrod, unfelt, half seen territory
Making walls my strangers
Making mountains
Captains of my heart
Heroic summits
Left clouds dreamers
And streamers trailing dove tail
Old engravings
Unknown Heiroglyphics from another life
There admist the whirling pools and crackling laughs
The sun and ease of day break
Were the broken, unspoken stones lye amidst the,
Epitaphs!

The Problem With Teeth
The problem with teeth that are false
Is they don't always ride out their course
They shift when you're eating
Or fly loose at a greeting
Some marriages end with divorce!
The problem with teeth that are false
Is that they won't always lie
In a mouth half their size
And can drive a sane man up the wall
The problem with teeth that are false
Is they don't always ride out life's course
In on a hospital stay they get 'put away'
Until you can't find them at all!
And when they do finally arrive
It's on a woman whose barely alive
Though's she's making a terrible din
But when she smiles she possesses your grin
And it's hard to reclaim them
Because she's renamed them
But the teeth that you've got won't fit in! ! .
The problem with teeth that are false
Is that they rarey survive in life's course
So it's better to brush and religiously floss
So you don't have to lose them at all!

Lost
The loss began out of sequence
Not quite inevitable
As the measure of a grief
At least in the procession
The pall bearers
The expenses
This loss
Outrode the cold cadaver
lying stiff like a stuffed doll
Half resembling a loved one
Casket ajar
Somewhere in the living room
By the armchair now empty of him
No this happened, long after he was gone
The loss happened
Out of sequence
When walking down a road with a familiar name
Took you by suprise
When walking backwards towards home
You return to find a dumb child
Jamming a key into a different lock
This was not your block
You lost the familiar scent of it
The room
The place
The time
The reason had left you
A blank
Uncertain
NAMES NO LONGER MADE SENSE
And you belonged to no one
No mirror could tell you who you were or are
No shopping mall assistant could escort you to safety
Only a waiting car
Left with the remains of you blank eyed
sad child wasted
With a few coins in yor pocket
It happened out of sequence
And suddenly
Arriving in a white landscape
The light almost erased you
Nothing could have prepared you for this
All maps signs roads names homes places faces
Strange
No use now
More alien this isolated slow death of you
Wishing
One last dance
One salvaged heart
From the wreckage
Of all losing him
This last slow circuit
Squeezing out the last ebb and flow of light

Don’t Let The Sun Go Down
Don’t let the sun go down on
any argument you have.
Don’t let the sun go down on
anything you do.
With an argument, make it up
before it drives your love away.
Always finish anything you do
because what they say is true.
Tomorrow never comes
so don’t let the sun go down on
anything important to you.

Golden Page
Husband is rare animal
Wife may feel happiness on his arrival
He is only cute and obeying pet
Obliges all the requests and let
What does she do then?
Looks after all small needs even
Fine gesture when leaves home
In the evening at gate to welcome
She knows husband is pipeline
Her only way for survival and lifeline
She can’t force any sideline
As he has already drawn the line
What compels them not to divide?
Care for each other and provide
All comforts and solace in grief
Keep relations sweet and still brief
Rather to be happy for kin
Both are happy and very keen
It is reflected and seen
The world had nicely been
They are indeed
A bridge in need
What they are really expected?
Sentiments and love for each other respected
Wife may look like knife
Double edged weapon to create strife
Still eager for peace
As life to be spent at ease
Let all wives come on stage
Celebrate the occasion with advancement of age
Write with golden words about nice cage
Make all borderlines glitter with golden page
