The Magnet and the Churn
A MAGNET hung in a hardware shop,
And all around was a loving crop
Of scissors and needles, nails and knives,
Offering love for all their lives;
But for iron the Magnet felt no whim,
Though he charmed iron, it charmed not him,
From needles and nails and knives he'd turn,
For he'd set his love on a Silver Churn!
His most aesthetic,
Very magnetic
Fancy took this turn -
"If I can wheedle
A knife or needle,
Why not a Silver Churn?"
And Iron and Steel expressed surprise,
The needles opened their well-drilled eyes,
The pen-knives felt "shut up," no doubt,
The scissors declared themselves "cut out,"
The kettles they boiled with rage, 'tis said,
While every nail went off its head,
And hither and thither began to roam,
Till a hammer came up - and drove it home,
While this magnetic
Peripatetic
Lover he lived to learn,
By no endeavour,
Can Magnet ever
Attract a Silver Churn!

Freak Magnet
Some magnets attract
some magnets repel
some magnets say
hey hey, what the hell
I'll take it both ways
first you come and
then you go
and then you turn around
and P. A. Y. S.
it stays yes it stays no
I don't know what
you're doing here
I don't even want you near
seem like a seem
like a uhhh ....
I'm a I'm a
I'm a freak magnet
I'm a freak magnet
I'm a freak magnet
I'm a freak magnet
and I'm calling all the
freaks from the
freak freak planet
I'm a freak magnet
well the birds of a feather
will fly and flock together
and the letter will
come whether
it's good or bad weather
there's a cut on my knees
cause I need to freeze
and there's a cord
on my coat
cause i need to
cut the rope
and you're talking
like sleaze
and you're looking
like disease
seem like a seem
like a uhh...
(Chorus)
I don't wanna
date you ooo
i don't want to rape you ooo
I don't want to kiss you ooo
i will never
miss you because
some magnets repel
and some magnets
attract and some
magnets retreat and
then attack attack
attack
i want it both ways
first i come and
then you go
and you're the one
of us who pays
who says yes? i say no!

Confidence!
When you are too rigid, you can be broken,
Please don't tell that I am the reason.
When you are too viscous, you can be the grease,
Spread between two surfaces, in hinges and bolts and nuts,
To get pressed always for the sake of lubricating sacrifice,
Please don't tell me that I am the reason,
For the excruciating pain that you wanted.
When your density is one and you think it is fun,
All the dirt will dissolve in you to make you to stink,
Please don't tell me that I am the reason.
When you are the magnet, you can pull the good Iron,
Leaving all the bad to get neglected to be negligible,
Please do tell that Magnet, YOU, have the confidence.

There is a magnet in your heart that will attract true friends. That magnet is unselfishness, thinking of others first; when you learn to live for others, they will live for you.

Love is union.
Love is union between two,
Not amalgamation of two,
And distinct like iron and magnet.

Why Does She become a magnet to me
Why does she look at me by turning back?
Why does she suffuse my mind with sweet dreams?
Why does she become magnet and make me iron?
Why does she make me fall in love without loving me?
Why does she sleep soundly stealing my sleep?
Why does she steal my heart without giving her one?

Iron which is brought near a spiral of copper wire, traversed by an electrical current, becomes magnetic, and then attracts other pieces of iron, or a suitably placed steel magnet.

Attractions And Distractions
at 18
attraction is a magnet
nails and
shreds of iron fillings
all absorbed
at 25
something changes
because of
the seeping pains
i doubt and i begin
to know
that i am
at 35
one wavers about
what to attract
and when to be
attracted
selective they say
there exists
now this discriminating taste
at 45
everything happens like a
bad dream
who will ever know
that this is what i am
really
i don't even know
anymore
at 55
attraction gets boring
i don't pay attention to
what gives pleasure
or pain
they are all the same
waste of time
and breaks my heart
and weakens
my soul
at 65
i want to rest my case
with all
peace there is.

Chick Magnet
Don’t play the cello if you want
to be a magnet for the chicks,
a guy who on guitar strings picks
is thought be far more gallant.
I learnt this fact from Yo-Yo Ma,
who probably believes that poets
have also far more luck with coeds
than cellists. Maybe many are,
but I am not, unfortunate
with poems as he is with cello.
I wish I were a magnet fellow,
and made the chicks importunate,
first for my poems, then my bod,
but since I don’t play the guitar,
my life is black as café noir,
and I am lonelier than God.
Charlie Rose on December 3,2008 interviewed Yo-Yo Ma, who accompanied on his cello the singer and songwriter from North Carolina, James Taylor, who also plays the guitar. Yo Yo explained that he has played the cello since the age of three, and that this has not made him a chick magnet. James Taylor started off by playing the cello but gave it up for the guitar, which Yo-Yo considers a wise decision.

The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!

An invisible magnet,
Forcing two lives
together.
Refusing to sever,
A combination of
emotions,
Touched by a magic
wand.

Ladies and gentlemen, today we're here to honor electricity, the charge that charges everything from those electrons snapping in our brain to our father the sun. What's the sun It's kind of like a brain. Electromagnetic field, solar flares sparking back and forth from those nerve cells. We're all one, folks, giant blobs of electricity, all of us. Positive & negative, electromagnetic fields just circling each other. Positive, negative, north, south, male and female. Looking for that electric moment. Magnet to magnet, opposites attract.

As Time Goes By
In our town there were many small shops, one selling
buttons the other socks; and a hardware store should
you need a hammer and nails to hang up a picture of
your mother -in- law, in the living room.
There was also a shop selling scarves, another selling
ladies hats, and a third one, quite posh, selling suits and
ties. I mustn’t forget the shoe shop, leather footwear
black or brown and white tennis shoes.
In our street of trade most shops have shut, those still
open are run by the Orientals where you can buy all
you need for a very small price. If your shoes wear out,
no point going to the old cobbler, buy Chinese instead.
Red lanterns sway in the fiscal breeze of decline where
wistfulness has no price tag. But you must remember
this, a shop is just a shop, yet, for us sentimental fools,
are remembered as a sweet memory of times gone by,

Crystal
Written by stevie nicks.
Do you always trust your first initial feeling
Special knowledge holds true, bears believing
I turned around and the water was closing all around like a glove
Like the love that finally found me
Then I knew in the crystaline knowledge of you
Drove me through the mountains
Through the crystal like and clear water fountain
Drove me like a magnet
To the sea
To the sea
How the faces of love have changed turning the pages
And I have changed, oh, but you, you remain ageless
Like the love that finally found me
Then I knew in the crystaline knowledge of you
Drove me through the mountains
Through the crystal like and clear water fountain
Drove me like a magnet
To the sea
To the sea

Alone (1)
Sharp iron nails were driven through flesh and bone
as upon the cross He hung alone.
'My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? '
He cried alone upon that tree.
He was attacked by Satan's bulls of Bashan
when alone He bore the sins of man.
While crowds stood staring at the gruesome sight
He hung alone to make things right.
As the sun was darkened and refused to shine
He died alone for these sins of mine.
Smitten of His God and forsaken was He
as He hung all alone there for me.
For He was wounded for me and His blood shed
when He hung alone there in my stead.
'My Lord and my God what love is this? ' I cried
'That for me alone You have died.'
to be continued........
I'm included with you
I'm included become with you
Like an iron with magnet.
I waana married with you
Like a river move into the ocean.
Me is desperate for you
'Like a man hungry for the food.
Thirsty for you i am
Like the desert seek for rain.
I Miss you my love in the way
a sailor miss the land.
i miss ur touches like lover miss her beloved
i miss ur voice bcaz nobody know it.
only me and only me
only my heart and only heart
is know who are you
only kT is know....! ♥♥♥

Soul To Soul
Someone along the way derailed your train
And Im having a real hard time
Getting any love thru your defenses
You listen to your heat but I know how well
You listen to your heart
If this is the real thing
Then I want more from you than flesh and blood
So, soul to soul
I know how it feels
Between lover to lover (were gonna be)
So, soul to soul
Like a magnet to steel
Just like lover to lover (were gonna be)
We dont make love so much
Have a bedroom crucifixion
Any love that you receive only seems to go skin deep
You lost the key, dont throw away the house
Tho I love your flesh and blood
This is the real thing
And I want more from you than skin to skin
So, soul to soul
I know how it feels
Between lover to lover (were gonna be)
So, soul to soul
Like a magnet to steel
Just like lover to lover (were gonna be)
Somewhere theres an altar she lays herself across it
And she hands me the blade but I dont, I dont stick it in
So, soul to soul and the faithful all kneel
Every sister and brother (were gonna be)
So, soul to soul and I wish it was real
Just like lover to lover (were gonna be)
And if this aint what you want
You better tell me now baby
Cause I want more from you than skin to skin
So, soul to soul
I know how it feels
Between lover to lover (were gonna be)
So, soul to soul
Like a magnet to steel
Just like lover to lover (were gonna be)
Somewhere theres an alter she lays herself across it
And she hands me the blade but I cant, I wont stick it in
So, soul to soul and the faithful will kneel
Every sister and brother (were gonna be)
So, soul to soul and I wish it was real
Just like lover to lover (were gonna be)

Taken
The window opens to consider dreams,
Offering a Wight to emerge in totality;
The nightmare commences at the table
Of food and drink, only to be like the future.
Our windows are now shut, doors too,
Clanging is heard like that of a magnet,
The murderers are near to the soul,
Wondering of hard pain and their suffering.
This eye is my window and shadow
To be observed by the poltergeist in history;
Towards a great island they seem to travel,
Islands of morbidity lie like liars in the dust.

Baby I Can’t Forget You
Baby I can’t forget your face
Baby I can’t forget your grace.
Baby I can’t forget your smiles
I can’t forget your sexy styles.
Baby I can’t forget your eyes
I can’t forget our fruitless tries.
Baby it’s just cause and effect
We are like iron and magnet.
