Que Sera, Sera
(written by j. livingston and r. evans)
Were gathered here this evening to testify
And I want you to know the words for today is let go
(well) ha, I want you to let go
And I want you to just sit back
And relax and open you hearts, your mind and
Let it go, go, go, go, go
Wed like to tell you a story this evening
Havent not so long, long, long ago
Its a story about you and me
Oh, yeah
This is how it goes
When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother what will I be
(ooh, will I be pretty) yeah (will I be rich)
Heres what she said to me
Que, sera, sera, whatever will be
Hee, hee, hee, hee
Ha, oh, oh, oh, because, because
The future is not for us to see, no
Que sera (que sera) que sera (que sera)
Que sera, oh--- yeah
When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my lover, ooh, baby
Baby what will I be (hmm, oh, oh, oh)
What will I be
(will I have...)
Heres what my baby said to me
He said que sera, sera
I just wanna say that whatever will be
Hee, hee, hee, hee
(oh---)
Que, que sera, oh, oh, oh, oh (sera) oh (sera)
Oh, hey, hey, whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever
Whatever will be, will be
Surely, surely, surely, surely, surely
Surely be, hoo
All because the future is not for us to see
(ooh, no, no, no, no) que sera
(que sera) que sera (que sera)
Que---sera, I want yaul to ....
-musical interlude-
Oh, oh, oh
Que sera, oh
Sera, oh
Sera, whatever, hoo, will be, hoo, yeah
I know, I know, at least I hope that you know
The fu---ture is not for us to see
Que sera (que sera) que sera (que sera)
Oh well, well , well, well, well, well, well
Que------hey, sera-----
Oh, oh--, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Que-----oh, oh, oh!

Oh My Golly!
Dentro las piones y las olas riquenas
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
Caminamos bajo la luna caribe
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
Besando, chichando con surfer rosa
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
Huesped de su manera
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
Rosa, oh oh ooh rosa!
Rosa, oh oh ooh rosa!
Yo soy playero pero no hay playa
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
Bien perdido por la surfer rosa
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
La vida total es un porqueria, porqueria
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
Hecho de menos mas que vida
Oh my golly! oh my golly!
Rosa, oh oh ooh rosa! huh huh
Rosa, oh oh ooh rosa! huh huh
Translation
Between pine seeds and puertorican waves
Walkin under the carribean moon
Kissing and chewing with surfer rosa
Guest of her ways
Rosa, oh oh ooh rosa
Im a beachgoer but there is no beach
Totally crazy for my surfer rosa
All of life is a pigstay, pigstay
I long (for her) more than my for life

a Leopardi leyó, y a Schopenhauer
y en un rato de spleen,
se curó para siempre con las cápsulas
de plomo de un fusil.

No Ser Fcil
NO SERA FACIL
-------------
(Gloria Estefan)
No sera facil
despues de amarte tantas veces
olvidarte,
si aun al verte solo quiero acariciarte.
Volver a amarte.
No sera facil
aparentar que entre tu y yo
nada ha pasado,
si aun las huellas de tu amor no se han borrado.
No sera facil.
Estribillo
----------
No sera facil
abandonar esas memorias
que has dejado,
acostumbrarme a que lo nuestro
ya ha pasado,
aunque yo sepa que a mas nadie tu has amado.
No sera facil
verte pasar y no poderte dar
ni un beso,
mirar tus ojos y saber
que no hay regreso,
reconocer que a tu pasado pertenesco.
No sera facil.
No sera facil.
No sera facil
contar las horas hasta ver
la luz del dia,
amanecer en una cama
tan vacia.
No sera facil.
No sera facil
pasar las noches sin poder
hallar el sue#o,
calmar mi llanto cuando surgan
tus recuerdos.
No sera facil.
Estribillo.
No sera facil.

Que sera sera
When the words are flowing and written
It’s the feeling I could express
Will it be read or immediately forgotten
Will it be an anchor or scrabble of confusion?
I don’t care of those things
Que sera sera
What ever will be, will be
As long as I could be honest to myself
Que sera sera

Allons plus vite
Et le soir vient et les lys meurent
Regarde ma douleur beau ciel qui me l'envoies
Une nuit de mélancolie
Enfant souris ô sœur écoute
Pauvres marchez sur la grand-route
Ô menteuse forêt qui surgis à ma voix
Les flammes qui brûlent les âmes
Sur le boulevard de Grenelle
Les ouvriers et les patrons
Arbres de mai cette dentelle
Ne fais donc pas le fanfaron
Allons plus vite nom de Dieu
Allons plus vite
Tous les poteaux télégraphiques
Viennent là-bas le long du quai
Sur son sein notre République
A mis ce bouquet de muguet
Qui poussait dru le long du quai
Allons plus vite nom de Dieu
Allons plus vite
La bouche en cœur Pauline honteuse
Les ouvriers et les patrons
Oui-dà oui-dà belle endormeuse
Ton frère
Allons plus vite nom de Dieu
Allons plus vite

Whatever Will Be Will Be
Got a letter just the other day
So much was left unsaid
When you went away
How my heart grew so cold
From the misery of dreams ago
An open envelope
The last time that we spoke
You said that you would always be my man
And now this letters here
What will you say my dear
To bring me to emotions once again
The truth of it you say
Theres never been day
That youre not sorry you apologize
But life teaches new things
Beyond the pain it brings
You to a place where you are truly wise
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
I know weve made mistakes
Cause love is give and take
I mean to say it wasnt all your fault
I too had some regrets
Such pain Ive felted yet
Its better to have love than not at all
The memories we had of all the good and bad
Has helped me be the woman that I am
So dont apologize
Ive come to realize
Just what is meant by all in love is fair
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Sometimes its just not meant to be
But the love that we share goes on and on
Spiritually therell be no more crying
No and therell be no more lying no no no no no
And the truth that we gained will offset the pain
And now we finally see
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Hmm hmm hey ooh yeah oh
Ooh

Santa Rosa
Seems like 10 years ago
Though today my mind is slow
Me and Mickey Craig were running west from Idaho
Robbed a bank to get some bread
Seems like 15 men lay dead
In a path that led us straight to Santa Rosa
Now and then ol' Mick'd say
Boy at home you should of stayed
Than to follow me and learn the life of looking back
But he'd spit and slap his side
Just to see if he's alive
Then he'd sing his banjo song of Santa Rosa
He said whoa-oh, singing oh Santa Rosa
Whoa-oh, high and low-oh-oo
Then one day, sang ol' Craig,
I'll be free to go my way
And be standing by the bay at Santa Rosa
Now one time late at night
Mickey lit no fire light
Cause he feared the posse close behind might flush us out
But he picked a bit 'fore sleep
To the tune of Cripple Creek
He was murdered by a man from Santa Rosa
And he sang whoa-oh, singing oh Santa Rosa
whoa-oh, singing oh Santa Rosa
whoa-oh, high and low-o-o
Til I come once again with my banjo pickin' friend
We'll be oh high and low in Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa
Id give anything to be back home in santa rosa
How I wish this road would take me home where I belong
cause I have found no other place where I will stay
Im tired and all my dreams have failed along the way
Id give anything to be back home in santa rosa
Though I wonder what my folks would think about me now
I guess Ive changed, like people do, when things go wrong
But in the end, somehow I know, well get along
Chorus
Santa rosa Ill be back to stay
Im on my way
Santa rosa Ill be back to stay
Id give anything to be back home in santa rosa
How I wish to see the old house where I used to live
And all my friends, will they be there, when I come home
How I regret the day when I set out to roam
Repeat chorus
Id give anything to be back home in santa rosa (3)

On the Nativity of Christ
RORATE coeli desuper!
Hevins, distil your balmy schouris!
For now is risen the bricht day-ster,
Fro the rose Mary, flour of flouris:
The cleir Sone, quhom no cloud devouris,
Surmounting Phebus in the Est,
Is cumin of his hevinly touris:
Et nobis Puer natus est.
Archangellis, angellis, and dompnationis,
Tronis, potestatis, and marteiris seir,
And all ye hevinly operationis,
Ster, planeit, firmament, and spheir,
Fire, erd, air, and water cleir,
To Him gife loving, most and lest,
That come in to so meik maneir;
Et nobis Puer natus est.
Synnaris be glad, and penance do,
And thank your Maker hairtfully;
For he that ye micht nocht come to
To you is cumin full humbly
Your soulis with his blood to buy
And loose you of the fiendis arrest--
And only of his own mercy;
Pro nobis Puer natus est.
All clergy do to him inclyne,
And bow unto that bairn benyng,
And do your observance divyne
To him that is of kingis King:
Encense his altar, read and sing
In holy kirk, with mind degest,
Him honouring attour all thing
Qui nobis Puer natus est.
Celestial foulis in the air,
Sing with your nottis upon hicht,
In firthis and in forrestis fair
Be myrthful now at all your mycht;
For passit is your dully nicht,
Aurora has the cloudis perst,
The Sone is risen with glaidsum licht,
Et nobis Puer natus est.
Now spring up flouris fra the rute,
Revert you upward naturaly,
In honour of the blissit frute
That raiss up fro the rose Mary;
Lay out your levis lustily,
Fro deid take life now at the lest
In wirschip of that Prince worthy
Qui nobis Puer natus est.
Sing, hevin imperial, most of hicht!
Regions of air mak armony!
All fish in flud and fowl of flicht
Be mirthful and mak melody!
All Gloria in excelsis cry!
Heaven, erd, se, man, bird, and best,--
He that is crownit abone the sky
Pro nobis Puer natus est!

Que Sera Sera
They content with
the images of themselves
proud of the genetic chain fulfilled
through their children
Yet they are empty too
for sometime
Just like me
Though i entertain not an image
of anybody
NOT even myself or the other self of myself
IT Is the NOw that i embrace
on a door that closes and opens when i step
outside
i sing, que sera sera
whatever will be will be.

In Rufum. Catul. Ep. 64
IN RUFUM. CATUL. EP. 64.
Noli admirari, quare tibi foemina nulla,
Rufe, velit tenerum supposuisse femur;
Non ullam rarae labefactes munere vestis,
Aut pellucidulis deliciis lapidis.
Laedit te quaedam mala fabula, qua tibi fertur
Valle sub alarum trux habitare caper.
Hunc metuunt omnes, neque mirum: nam mala valde est
Bestia, nec quicum bela puella cubet.
Quare aut crudelem nasorum interfice pestem,
Aut admirari desine, cur fugiant.
TO RUFUS.
That no fair woman will, wonder not why,
Clap (Rufus) under thine her tender thigh;
Not a silk gown shall once melt one of them,
Nor the delights of a transparent gemme.
A scurvy story kills thee, which doth tell,
That in thine armpits a fierce goat doth dwell.
Him they all fear full of an ugly stench:
Nor 's 't fit he should lye with a handsome wench;
Wherefore this noses cursed plague first crush,
Or cease to wonder, why they fly you thus.

Booty-Boo-Doo-The Caboose
I'm not going to hide,
Any love you see this evening.
I'm much too needing on my side...
And I want it known as shown,
I've come with... some pride.
I'm not going to hide inside of me,
This evening.
Too much I let collect in dust.
And too much I don't want to get rusty.
I've got enough in me to boot and hoot.
It doesn't matter if my ladder,
Can get up to reach the roof!
I know my ladder apparatus,
And it's there to give a boost.
Booty-boo-doo-the caboose.
I know my ladder apparatus,
And it's there to give a boost.
Booty-boo-doo-the caboose.
I know my ladder apparatus,
And it's there to give a boost.
Booty-boo-doo-the cabooster.
Booty-boo-doo-the caboose.
Booty-boo-doo-the cabooster.
Booty-boo-doo-the caboose.
Booty-boo-doo-the cabooster.
I know my ladder apparatus,
And it's there to give a boost.
I'm not going to hide inside of me,
This evening.
Too much I let collect in dust.
And too much I don't want to get rusty.
I've got enough in me to boot and hoot.
Booty-boo-doo-the cabooster.

And it's there to give a boost.
I know my ladder apparatus,
And it's there to give a boost.
Booty-boo-doo-the cabooster.
Booty-boo-doo-the caboose.
I want to know,
And I'm excited!
Booty-boo-doo-the cabooster.
Booty-boo-doo-the caboose.
I want to know,
And I'm excited!
Booty-boo-doo-the cabooster.

The Fifth Ode Of Horace. Lib. I
Quis multa gracilis te puer in Rosa
Rendred almost word for word without Rhyme according to the
Latin Measure, as near as the Language permit.
WHAT slender Youth bedew'd with liquid odours
Courts thee on Roses in some pleasant Cave,
Pyrrha for whom bind'st thou
In wreaths thy golden Hair,
Plain in thy neatness; O how oft shall he
On Faith and changed Gods complain: and Seas
Rough with black winds and storms
Unwonted shall admire:
Who now enjoyes thee credulous, all Gold,
Who alwayes vacant, alwayes amiable
Hopes thee; of flattering gales
Unmindfull. Hapless they
To whom thou untry'd seem'st fair. Me in my vow'd
Picture the sacred wall declares t' have hung
My dank and dropping weeds
To the stern God of Sea.
[The Latin text follows.]
