Kathy's Poem
I remember the times,
deep in my mind of washing,
and cleaning you as a little child,
I walked you down the isle,
in white silk and satin lace,
with me in your arms and much grace,
my younger one I thank you,
for such a lovely embrace.

Velvet Sky
Velvet sky,
Oh velvet sky,
Black velvet sky with arms open wide.
Lovely ips,
Oh lovely lips,
If only yours would give mine a kiss.
Open eyes,
Oh open eyes,
How open eyes only Close my mind.
Scarlet lace,
Oh scarlet lace,
How did it feel to fall down from grace?
Blissful clouds,
Oh blissful clouds,
In this fever I'll surely drown.
Broken time,
Oh broken time,
I'd give it all up if you would be mine.
Velvet sky,
Oh velvet sky,
If only your arms were open so wide.
Roses On White Lace
I saw you in your wedding gown
The prettiest dress
I came into the room that night
And made such a mess
In my own way, I lovingly kiss the bride
With your ring in your hand
Your eyes and your mouth open wide
In my eyes
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
They won't wash away
In my mind they're roses on white lace
Straight from the heart
So dead upon the bed
You hurt me in the deepest way
I'm crippled inside
I took your evil skin away
It's all cut and dried
I saw you tonight and carefully took your hand
With some smears on my cheeks
I knew that you would understand
In my eyes
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
They won't wash away
In my mind they're roses on white lace
Straight from the heart
So dead upon the bed, still searching for your head
They're never gonna find your face
It's hidden away
I found a very special place where you used to play
In my own way, I lovingly kiss the bride
With your ring in your hand
Your eyes and your mouth open wide
In my eyes
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
They won't wash away
In my mind they're roses on white lace
Straight from the heart
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
Crimson and sweet, stained on the sheet
Roses on white lace, pretty in red, dripping and wet
Roses on white lace, spilled on the walls, dark in the hall

Ride Child Ride
Well Im sitting here this evening
Ive got some old friends on my mind, yeah I do
Yeah, me and slick and davy saluting mr. daniels
For the very first time
We was jamming to old jimi, singing purple haze,
No doubt, no, no
I think between weed and whiskey
My head went north and man, my feet went south
We had some good times,
And man do I remember them well
Those days are long gone,
But now I got to tell you just how we left some stories to tell
Chorus:
Ride, child ride
Hell we had some good times then
Ride, child, ride
Sometimes I need those times again
Do you remember when?
Remember all our big talk,
How we were going to be president, one day, baby
How we were going to save the whole world
But man, I got to tell you lord,
Didnt have a clue back then
We had some good times,
And man do I remember them well
Those days are long gone,
But now I got to tell you just how we left some stories to tell
Chorus
Ride, child, ride
Hell, we had some good times then
Ride, child ride
Sometimes I need those times again
Ride, child ride
Hell, we had some good times then
Ride, child, ride
Take me back there, man, do you remember when?

Searching For That Little Girl
As I looked - she was walking away
Not a word did she say.
There was no -” I’m sorry for doing you wrong”.
But that drug impulse was mighty strong.
I was having withdrawal pains
And of that I’m not ashamed.
You said to a rehab you would go
But that day you didn’t show.
The drugs may ease the pain
But your life will never be the same.
You started off smoking grass
But that high didn’t last.
Next you started snorting cocaine
And after a while that was lame.
Then you decided to go to crack
And after that there was no turning back.
You started stealing from family and friends
This was the beginning - there was no end.
Now you’re selling your body on the street
Just so you could get that treat.
Did you ever say to yourself as a child
“ I want to be a junkie_ that’s my style”.
You dreamt of satin and lace
And walking with purpose - and with grace.
Look for that child that’s buried in your mind
“ you can do it, it just takes time”.
Don’t do it for me or for family
Do it for that little girl who is
Wandering in your mind
She will be with you till the end of time.

My Child
Have I lost you my child?
in the darkness of my wants?
To never feel your arms, embrace me once again.
Never to feast upon your eyes
to look deep, into the windows of your soul.
My child, where have I failed you?
What is my fate?
When shall I die?
of this sin I carry, within my empty womb?
My child, end this pain!
My child, forgive me of this sin, I know not of!
Farewell my child, for I am no more
emptiness has now replaced
my once joy-filled soul.
For I am no more, my child.

Open Arms
If love is what you want
Baby here I am
If tenderness is what you need
Ive got that to give
If you need some affection
Baby these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
You come hem youve had a hard day
Every door you tried to open
Was closing in your face
Im right here Ill be right here
Ill embrace you
Ill be open with my heart
Ill let you in
Ill be open with my thoughts
Ill be your best friend
If you need some attention
Baby these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
Every corner you turn
Trouble come your way
But when you get home
Ill try to be there
And Ill embrace you
These are
These are
These are
Open arms
If time is what you need
Baby Ill stop the clocks
If youre looking for something
Maybe Ive got what you want
If theres one thing to remember
Dont forget that these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
These are
These are
These are
Open arms

tell me what am I?
Sometimes I get tired too
Asking some philosophical questions about
My existence, purpose, and life becomes like one
Security guard asking me a lot
As I am about to enter a building
What floor?
What for?
Whom would you want to see?
Your ID please
Leave it,
And I pretend I have a very important purpose in my life
A very important vision for a very important mission
And upon a certain arrival
On the topmost floor
I end up, so this is the floor,
what for?
What am I doing here?
Like a scratch paper I crumple myself
This is not my paper, I have not written the right thing
This is waste for a wastebasket
I crumple this scratch of scribblings without
Any real meaning,
She calls it cranky
I call this a nursery rhyme of my life
Questions which seem hard
But actually there are none of such
But playful stuff of
who am i?
Try these:
1) There was a girl in our town,
Silk an’ satin was her gown,
Silk an’ satin, gold an’ velvet,
Guess her name, three times I’ve told it.
2) As soft as silk, as white as milk,
As bitter as gall, a thick green wall,
And a green coat covers me all.
What am i?
3) Make three fourths of a cross,
And a circle complete;
And let two semicircles
On a perpendicular meet;
Next add a triangle
That stands on two feet;
Next two semicircles,
And a circle complete.
What am i?
4) Flour of England, fruit of Spain,
Met together in a shower of rain;
Put in a bag tied round with a string,
If you’ll tell me this riddle, I’ll give you a ring.
What am i?
5) In marble walls as white as milk,
Lined with a skin as soft as silk,
Within a fountain crystal clear,
A golden apple doth appear.
No doors there are to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.
What am i?
6) Long legs, crooked thighs,
Little head and no eyes.
What am i?
7) Formed long ago, yet made to-day,
Employed while others sleep;
What few would like to give away,
Nor any wish to keep.
What am i?
8) Lives in winter,
Dies in summer,
And grows with its root upwards.
What am i?
9) Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Cannot put Humpty Dumpty together again.
What am I?
You will answer.
And you laugh, these are for kindergarten kids
Not for me, but honestly I figure out
Kindergarten stuff
In truth, that is what my life is all about
What am i?
What am i?
come play with me
Pin pin de sirapin de cuchillo de almacen
How how the carabao the batuten
Amy Susie and the rosemarie
Amy Susie and the rosemary
Do you remember all of these?
When you remember what do you feel?
Does not life itself
Smile and laugh a bit
Relieved from its hazards
Rested like a head on a hammock on my arms?
Actually, that is what I am all about
Seeing everything thorugh the eye of the child
Thru an eye of a needle.

Pretty Pink Lace
Pretty pink lace
Hemmed upon her skirt
Sweet smiles
Natures warm embrace
Piggy tails and pink bows
Butterflies that she'll chase
Chubby cheeks and giggles
Wonder who wins the race

Dancing With Angels
Many times, I have walked near the sea;
looked at the incoming white crested waves,
dreamed of the times you walked with me.
When we promised our love would last forever,
then the years came and took you away,
to another’s arms you did stray..
Now I watch the sea on my own,
and wish you were at my side,
but knowing that could never be,
for your dancing with angels now.
There were so many things
that somehow were left unsaid,
things that are no loner important now,
so why do I remember them?
Why do they haunt me constantly?
The questions have no answers now,
but every now and then I catch a glimpse of you,
from the corner of my eye,
dancing with angels along the beach,
but when I turn you are gone like a lost dream.

Drunken Of Fatigue
as crystal eyes sway
they long for a dream
for a weary mind
is not quite sane enough for consiousness
the glass tear dropp pendulum
softly swings from an unsturdy hold
fate seems fantasy
in this breif moment of vacillate thinking
yet through complete uncertainty
a glimpse of you alerts me
with thoughts of love and somewhat desire
for i long to be entangled in your complex mind
swinging from every silk-soft thread
with these crystal eyes
fixed on the oceans inside yours
sweep me away
wrapping me with deep red satin
as our souls entertwine
and our hearts join together mending each other
lost in your soul my mind losses
it is defenseless to your power
this deep red romance in which no one of us leads
yet our bodies both lead on their own
tender lips meet mine sweet and intense
forever leaving this memory in our hearts
this deep red romance
our deep red satin romance
makes even swaying crystal eyes
steady themselves

Dressing the Doll
THIS is the way we dress the Doll:—
You may make her a shepherdess, the Doll,
If you give her a crook with a pastoral hook,
But this is the way we dress the Doll.
Chorus
Bless the Doll, you may press the Doll,
But do not crumple and mess the Doll!
This is the way we dress the Doll.
First, you observe, her little chemise,
As white as milk, with ruches of silk;
And the little drawers that cover her knees,
As she sits or stands, with golden bands,
And lace in beautiful filagrees.
Chorus
Now these are the bodies: she has two,
One of pink, with rouches of blue,
And sweet white lace; be careful, do!
And one of green, with buttons of sheen,
Buttons and bands of gold, I mean,
With lace on the border in lovely order,
The most expensive we can afford her!
Chorus
Then, with black at the border, jacket
And this—and this—she will not lack it;
Skirts? Why, there are skirts, of course,
And shoes and stockings we shall enforce,
With a proper bodice, in the proper place,
(Stays that lace have had their days
And made their martyrs); likewise garters,
All entire. But our desire
Is to show you her night attire,
At least a part of it. Pray admire
This sweet white thing that she goes to bed in!
It ’s not the one that ’s made for her wedding:
That is special, a new design,
Made with a charm and a countersign,
Three times three and nine times nine:
These are only her usual clothes.
Look, there ’s a wardrobe! gracious knows
It ’s pretty enough, as far as it goes!
So you see the way we dress the Doll:
You might make her a shepherdess, the Doll,
If you gave her a crook with pastoral hook,
With sheep, and a shed, and a shallow brook,
And all that, out of the poetry-book.
Chorus
Bless the Doll, you may press the Doll,
But do not crumple and mess the Doll!
This is the way we dress the Doll;
If you had not seen, could you guess the Doll?

Remember When I Gave You That Rose?
Remember
Those times of yesteryear?
Remember
That night I held you near?
Remember
How we were so close?
Remember
That song we always chose?
Remember
The way we shared our mind?
Remember
How we were one of a kind?
Remember
Those words you spoke to me?
Remember
How clearly we would often see?
Remember
Your beauty and escentric pose?
remember
When I gave you that rose?

Jasmine & Jonquils In June...
Jasmine and Jonquils In June
Bougainvilleas and Brides Are In Bloom
Also Roses and Ribbons In Rooms
Growing Standing Ovations Of Grooms
White Satin, Silk, Chantilly Lace
Soft Symbol Veils, Flowing Over Lady’s Face
As Long Trains and Butterflies Chase
Yet, In A Vision of Elegance and Grace
Slowly, She Moves Down The Aisle
Amid Garden Rows Of Sunshine Smiles
Been Waiting For The Season Awhile
But GOD’s Blessings and Bouquets: Always In Style
As Expectant Hush, Fills Fragrant Room
For Exchanged Vows Of Brides and Grooms
And Their New Life About To Bloom
Like Jasmine and Jonquils In June

Remember The Time
Do you remember
When we fell in love
We were young
And innocent then
Do you remember
How it all began
It just seemed like heaven
So why did it end?
Do you remember
Back in the fall
Wed be together
All day long
Do you remember
Us holding hands
In each others eyes
Wed stare
(tell me)
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Do you remember
How we used to talk
(ya know)
Wed stay on the phone
At night till dawn
Do you remember
All the things we said like
I love you so
Ill never let you go
Do you remember
Back in the spring
Every morning birds would sing
Do you remember
Those special times
Theyll just go on and on
In the back of my mind
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met girl
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Those sweet memories
Will always be dear to me
And girl no matter what was said
I will never forget what we had
Now baby
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Remember the times
Ooh
Remember the times
Do you remember girl
Remember the times
On the phone you and me
Remember the times
Till dawn, two or three
What about us girl
Remember the times
Do you. do you, do you,
Do you, do you
Remember the times
In the park, on the beach
Remember the times
You and me in spain
Remember the times
What about, what about...
Remember the times
Ooh... in the park
Remember the times
After dark..., do you, do you, do you
Remember the times
Do you, do you, do you, do you
Remember the times
Yeah yeah
Remember the times

I Was Made To Feel Different In My Younger Years
I remember sitting in the corners of shadows.
Wishing to be invisible,
After making attempts to disappear.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
My voice was deep at the age of twelve.
And my knees knocked.
I was aware I walked pigeon toed.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
People were quick to critique me then.
When they would laugh at me.
I laughed right back at them to hide and cry alone.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
I grew wiser before I aged.
And years it would take for me to learn to forgive.
But I did with a doing successfully.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
Perceptive, empathetic and sometimes distant.
Removed from anguish I knew others felt.
Yet today I might sit with periodic embitterness.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
I've learned to use my talents and gifts,
To lift me beyond any loneliness that visited.
And with slow and painful steps I grew to improve.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
And when I self examine to reflect...
So happy I am to have held on to my patience,
With a giving to others a respect regardless...
If little of it was shown to me,
When I was growing to bloom.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
Hungering then to be accepted.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
Hungering then not to be neglected.

Celebrate Youth
Celebrate Youth
by H-Blockx
Album: No Excuses
I can see the older man
Looking at the younger man
I can see the younger man
Looking at the boy
Over there the older woman
Looking at the younger woman
I can see the younger woman
Looking at the girl
'Cause every man sees
In the younger man the hope
Every woman sees
In the younger girl the dream
Everybody lives
The pride and passion of the young
From the womb to the tomb
We will remember what it means
Refrain:
So celebrate youth - celebrate
Those who have it - young ones
Celebrate youth - celebrate
Give them sight
The future of the world's in the -celebrate
Hands of children - young ones
So celebrate youth - celebrate
Teach them right
Looking in a child's face
There's no pride and no disgrace
There's no struggle there's no fight
I can see the older man
And sometimes in the older man
I still see the young boy
Burning in his eye
And locked up here inside our spirit
Is the child that we are, hear it
Some of us will always fear it
And some will heed the cry
'Cause every man sees
In the younger man the hope
Every woman sees
In the younger girl the dream
Everybody lives
The pride and passion of the young
From the womb to the tomb
We will remember what it means
Refrain:
So celebrate youth - celebrate
Those who have it - young ones
Celebrate youth - celebrate
Give them sight
The future of the world's in the -celebrate
Hands of children - young ones
So celebrate youth - celebrate
Teach them right
Looking in a child's face
There's no pride and no disgrace
There's no struggle, there's no fight
Fight like a youth brigade
Tear down your baricades
I know fear's a blade
Time's up, another decade
Fight to be free indeed
Wrap up the things you need
Imaturity
Celebrates the youth in me
Looking in a child's eye
There's no hate and there's no lie
There's no black and there's no white
Refrain:
So celebrate youth - celebrate
Those who have it - young ones
Celebrate youth - celebrate
Give them sight
The future of the world's in the -celebrate
Hands of children - young ones
So celebrate youth - celebrate
Teach them right
Looking in a child's eye

Something You Forgot
I REMEMBER
THE TIMES WE SHARED
FILLED WITH LAUGHTER AND SHEERS
THE TIMES WE CRYED
WHEN WE TRIED SO HARD
NO TO FALL APART
TO STAY TOGETHER
LIKE THREADED LEATHER
BUT I REMEMBER
ITS JUST
SOMETHING YOU FORGOT
I REMEMBER
THE TIMES WE TALKED
THE STEPS WE WALKED
THE DAY IT RAINED
WHEN YOU AND I LAYED
TO REST AND MY HEAD ON YOUR CHEST
KEPT ME IN PLACE
WHILE I LOOKED AT YOUR FACE
BUT I REMEMBER
IS JUST
SOMETHING I FORGOT
I REMEMBER
IT LIKE YESTERDAY
WHEN GRANDMA DIED
I CAN STILL FEEL
THE TEARS FROM MY EYES
WHICH DRYED AS I CRIED
KEPT ME FROM DYING
BUT YET TRYING
BUT I REMEMBER
ITS JUST
SOMETHING YOU FORGOT

Falling In Love...
Falling in love with you came so easy-
Surrendering to your arms it wasn't planned...
I just melted into you and your arms so true-
Walking with you-hand in hand;
You led me through your loving garden-
And picked for me a red-red Rose-
Sat me down amongst the Day Lilies-
And seduced me with your most delicate prose;
Oh- your words they were so heavenly...
That they captured my entire heart and mind-
Falling in love with you it came so easy-
Spending time in your arms most divine;
Falling in love with you it came so easy-
Surrendering to your arms it wasn't planned-
But i just melted into-your words so true-
That i walked with you-hand in hand;
We were oh so magical together...
Our two hearts-they melted into one-
Ours was a journey of true loves ecstacy-
Together-always when the day was done;
You were everything i ever needed...
Your charms and your charisma t'was so fair-
A Knight In White Satin you-indeed-were-
So regal-so cavalier-so debonair;
Falling in love with you it came so easy-
Surrendering to your arms it was not planned-
I just melted into you-and your words i thought were true?
And walked with you-hand in hand;
But the days began turning into continual night-
And your arms and charms disappeared into thin air-
Your words once true? Now turned me blue!
Thrown into reality-i realized that you no longer cared;
For what had been so wonderful-
For what had been a love so grand-
Has ended oh so abruptly-
That no longer do we walk hand in hand! ;

Schooldays
If ever you think about the happiest days of your life
Cast back your mind for a while
And remember the time when you were a child.
Dont think of things that make you sad,
Just remember all the good times that you had.
Do you remember only happy days,
Full of flaming junes and summer holidays?
Or do you remember those stormy novembers
When we walked in the wind and the rain?
Schooldays were such happy days
Now they seem so far away,
I remember and Ill always treasure.
Schooldays were the happiest days of your life
But we never appreciate the good times we have
Until its too late.
I miss all the acquaintances we made
And Id go back if I could only find a way,
Schooldays were the happiest days
Though at the time they filled me with dismay.
We only remember what we choose to remember.
When I was a schoolboy I loathed regulations and rules
I hated my textbooks and my school uniform,
cos it made me conform,
And teachers were always disobeyed,
But Id go back if I could only find a way.
Schooldays were the happiest days,
Now they seem so far away.
I remember and Ill always treasure
Schooldays were the happiest days of your life
But we never appreciate the good times we have
Until its too late.
Now I wish I hadnt strayed,
And Id go back if I could only find a way.
Schooldays.

Embraced in the arms of your love
Your arms of love enfold around me
and embrace me in passion so warmly
They entwine me with great emotion
Expressing your love and your devotion
I feel like a child so secure and so safe
Locked inside your sweet loving embrace
Safely enfolded in your loving charms
Held tightly and tenderly in your arms
They bring me so close to you loving heart
Oh Love of my desires nothing us shall part
I feel the strength of your love for me
When held by your arms so passionately
Outstretched so wide your love to display
'I love you so much' is what they say
With the same desire I wrap my arms round you
Cocoon you in my embrace as all lovers do
Though loved as a child in a large family
I never thought that love like ours could be
I had such low expectations of loves ability
Thought it weakened when stretched to capacity
You refused to accept any limitations on love
And showed me affection from heaven above
I have never experienced such love like this
It is a love like Christ's and as strong as His
So vast and wide and so freely given
Embracing my soul and lifting it to heaven
With enough love left over for others to share
Reaching out to them in loving care
Let's wrap ourselves in loves embrace
and lose ourselves in this love of grace
Love that will never let each other go
Love that will endure life's test and grow
Resting in the warmth of this love that's ours
Secure in the knowledge of its hidden powers
No matter what happens we're safe in the Lord
For underneath are the everlasting arms of God
