Heartbeat
looking the sky,
I searched you.
there,
with my two eyes,
looking the sea,
I searched you.
but both places,
I got nothing,
you are not
before my eyes
at last,
I searched you within,
my heart.
and surprisingly my god!
I got you there. As an immortal piece
You are always with me
I have a sea of love for you
Just waiting!
When you will come in my life
As a newly married thus my wife.
in my heart
you live and throb.
same as my heartbeat

Im but a lad, oh for Im twenty, tuned in to dreaming
Gazing at your sign, for mad men only, my poets screaming
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
Take me to the wild black seas of madness, the savage dancer
Clothe me in insanity and leave me, to find the answer
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you

Our Lady of Immaculate Conception!
I searched for a lady
With beauty, not external,
But of the heart,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With eyes without envy,
But glowing innocence,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With modesty, not vanity,
And heart full of piety,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With grace, not of movements,
But of the soul,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With wisdom, not knowledge,
And full of kindness,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With virtues, not vices,
And one who’s exemplary,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
Where can I find her?
-One without sin, not earthly,
One born immaculate:
And it was Mother Mary-
The Mother of Jesus:
She was that only one!

The Story Of A Search For A Poem
A man went in search of a Poem
He searched everywhere he walked
He searched inside himself
He searched inside the poems of others
He searched and searched -
And what came to him were fragments of many poems
And he thought perhaps that they themselves were the poem
But they refused to be satisfied with themselves-
So he searched for a way to put them together-
But in searching came upon more fragments
With each new fragment totally re-ordering those that had gone before-
So he thought ‘I went looking for one poem but found many
Perhaps there are only many poems’
And he began to write them down
And felt at times that he had found many poems
But always too he knew he had not found the one-
So he searched and searched again
And could not find the Poem-
He is still searching
And does not know where the poem is
Sometimes he thinks it is hidden in the many already written
But he does not have the eye to discern it the heart to feel it-
He now is surrounded by poems-
They are everywhere-
But he still cannot find the One Poem which is the Poem for him
The Poem which is his Poem and his Poem alone-
He says he is still searching and will search to the end of his days
But he is old now and soon may be too weak to search
And so the Poem he seeks the one he has longed for all his life
May never be found
Though he goes on searching still.

My Wish Came True
(words & music by hunter)
My wish came true
When I met you
Ive searched and searched
My whole life through
Theres just one thing
Dear before we start
Dont say you care
Then break my heart
When you speak of love
Please be sincere
For if you play with love
It can bring tears my dear
My wish came true
To my surprise
When you stood there before my eyes
And when my heart
Started beating fast
Twas then I knew
I found true love at last

The Search-Potraga
we searched for him among the living-but in vain
we searched for him among the wounded- but he was dead
we searched for him among the missing ones
and there he was - but nothing
we searched for him - you and I
tražiči smo ga među živima i bio je tamo no zalud
tražili smo ga među ranjenima i bio je tamo no mrtav
tražili smo ga među nestalima
i bio je tamo pa ništa
tražili ga - ti i ja

I Love You
Well he searched and searched for nights and days
Till he found the one he loved
And he wrapped her in his arms again
And then he thanked the stars above
That he found what he'd been looking for
And he stared her in the eyes
He said "I love you"
He said "I love you"
Love you

The Love Of A Woman
I walked half way across this town
Singing in the pouring rain
I knew someway somehow
I had to see your smiling face
Some people need some time
Some people need their space
But when you're not in my arms
You're too far away (for).
Chorus:
The love of a woman
The love of a woman like you
The love of a woman
There's nothing so strong and so true
I prayed to God above
And I've searched my whole life through
For the love of a woman
The love of a woman like you.
My friends all ask me why
I lay my heart on the line
But somewhere deep down inside
They know exactly why
When it don't go like you plan
There's nothing that hurts so bad
But when it works like it should
There's nothing on earth known to man (like).
Chorus:
The love of a woman
The love of a woman like you
The love of a woman
There's nothing so strong and so true
I prayed to God above
And I've searched my whole life through
For the love of a woman
The love of a woman like you.
--- Instrumental ---
Oh, I prayed to God above
And I've searched my whole life through
For the love of a woman
The love of a woman like you
For the love of a woman
The love of a woman like you...

Man's Rule
I have searched for love,
Only to find hatred.
I searched for acceptance,
Only to find prejudice.
I searched for peace,
Only to find war,
I searched for freedom,
Only to be sentenced,
I looked for shelter,
But only found an open wintery sky.
I searched for water,
But nothing could quench my thirst.
The lord beckoned me,
From his throne on high.
They treated you with hatred,
But bath in my love.
They treated you with prejudice,
But my son I accept you.
They brought you war,
But I shall give you peace.
They imprisoned you,
But I shall give you freedom.
You slept under an open wintery sky,
But here shelter in my paradise.
They did not quench your thirst,
But I shall let you drink from my own cup.

For Other Eyes
I dont know what I would do
If this letter should fall into
Other hands than it should pass through
For other eyes
He said, it was nothing...its over and done
But the rotten worm was burrowing still
Its spirit invades me bleeding me white
For other replies
I searched his pockets
I searched his eyes
I searched his wallet for clues and lies
And I found a number that I somehow dialed
A woman answered, a woman smiled
Then she hung up on the silence unperplexed
Innocently spun her rolodex
I dialed again I could not resist
Revealing just the dentist receptionist
One day well laugh about it or maybe well curse
But there is one thing that is making it worse
And its the lack of forgiveness that I cant disguise
No matter how well he lies
Now we dont know each other anymore
And when we touch our lips feel sore
I question the longing left in his sighs
For other eyes

Searched Have I The Starry Sky
Searched have I the starry sky
For a eyes alike your own
Yet never have I known love alike
The love for you I’ve grown.
The sun pales in comparison
With your radiance,
As the eyes of the Goddess Venus
Taint their stare an emerald green in envy
When confronted by your form.
She is raging, turning the pages of history
In an attempt to find a beauty beyond your boundary
But no smile can she find that sets free
Alike yours the heart of the poet in love.
And lost in desperation
Sick of seeking that which I know
Will only be found in your arms
I lay down my heart defenceless to your sword.
Slay the dreams of love if your heart is sure
But know that no cure will resurrect
My heart once torn of hope.
I am yours, forever at your mercy
Forever wishing to know your kiss,
The kiss that I’ve been missing,
The kiss that I’ve been searching for
Throughout every life I’ve ever known.
Searched have I the starry sky
For a girl alike yourself
And now I know where it is she lies
I can not place emotion upon the shelf
And disguise a love that consumes me so.
I guess I just thought you should know.

River Of Dreams************6/17/06
6/17/06
As they paddled down the river of dreams
And of plans and schemes
Seeking the little white dove
Who is of peace and love.
They searched high and they searched low
They searched until the moon began to glow.
They traveled by the moonlit night
Seeking that bird in its flight
Upon arriving on the beaches shores
Their search ended forever more.
The bird of love was in plain sight
Because they had not given up the fight.
The love came upon them as the
Stars upon the sea
Whispering ever so sweetly.
And on this you can depend
You have reached your journeys end.

I Have Searched My Soul
I have searched my soul,
With a deepness...
That is complete.
I've addressed this to confess.
And express this to accept.
I have searched my soul,
With a deepness...
That is complete.
I've addressed....
My weaknesses.
I've addressed...
Insecurities.
I've addressed,
Past failures.
And I have addressed...
My wants and needs.
No more,
Do I run and hide.
And no more to myself lie.
No more,
Do I refuse to be...
Who the 'me' I am.
And...
I have searched my soul,
With a deepness...
So clear my eyes can see.
I've addressed....
My weaknesses.
I've addressed...
Insecurities.
I've addressed,
Past failures.
And I have addressed...
My wants and needs.
I have searched my soul,
With a deepness...
That is complete.
No more,
Do I run and hide.
And no more to myself lie.
I have searched my soul,
With a deepness...
For me that is complete.

A Cottage Of Love Smashed
An old-man after the burial of two sons,
A daughter and his aged faithful wife,
Began to search contents of the cottage,
With anxious perturbed eyes
Bearing the expression of helplessness.
A few worried men, women and children
Of the locality gathered around to sympathise
With the cumbersome grave hearts.
He rummaged around ashes of the rubbled cottage,
Two goats and their young babes
Lay all shredded amid the wreckage;
A parrot in the cage was ragged, torn to pieces,
But lay liberated from the encagement of life.
The old man searched and searched,
At last found he a bag made of aged patched cloth,
It contained neither money, nor gold nor silver
But a handkerchief, a ring and a few letters,
The relics of his wife: an expired companion
Who presented them when she had been his fiancée.
He picked the bag and placing near to the heart
Moved away almost silent uncomplaining
But with the uncertain broken wrecked heart
To the unknown shelter harbour of peace,
In the meanwhile
The sound of an attack by Drone was heard again,
Yes; the same Drone operated by pioneers of the world.

Wedding Vows of a wife
i give you my heart as a token of my love
for JESUS filled it from above.
i searched my whole life through
for a man such as you.
i saw in you all that i desired
and you set my heart on fire.
i see that you are a caring and a non violent man
and praised me when i took a stand.
on all that i believe and feel to be true.
that's the reason i have fallen in love with you.
so on this beautiful day in my life
i consent to be your wife.

In Search Of Inspiration
searching the world for inspiration
searching books, music and nature too
a lot of effort gone into it, a lot of concentration
inspiration i think is hard to find
in the songs of birds, in the whistle of the wind
i search for inspiration, even a tiny little bit
when a baby laughed or when a woman grinned
i searched folr inspiration, guess it's harder to find
in the words of shelly, keats and shakespeare too
inspiration i searched and searched, no use
in 'gone with the wind'and 'the sound of music'
movies i searched for a bit of inspiration
'
without inspiration, what do i write
i wanna fill the pages with the poem that's right
i need to write a poem, i need inspiration
i wanna write a poem. wait a minute! ! , i just did! ! !
note: i never write poems for the sake of writing.......it comes from the heart......in reality...i dont need to search for inspiration much.....it comes when it needs to... :)

Rape
(ian hunter)
He searched through his love like a thief on the run
He searched through his face - to see the guilt water run
But hes fresh out of tears and nobody has come
And justice has got to be done
Oh moon in the city stay open and clear
For his vision aint good and his minds disappeared
Get along mother nature they spat at your son
So justice has got to be done
And beauty is lying alone in the park
Her friend has gone bowling in the alleys so dark
Wheres her knight in white armour who rides a chrome ford
Justice would seem to be bored
Justice would seem to be bored
A knife full of life penetrated the bait
While he thinks o the sister and the mother that he hates
And he thinks hell get off cos hes sick, and stoned
And justice was made to be honed
And justice was made to be honed
And his lawyer is smiling one hell of a smile
n hes lying all the lies - of the lies in exile
While shes dying of grief hes defending his brief
And justice would seem to be cheap
And justice would seem to be cheap
Well Ive searched through the falling, and I searched through the failed
Ive searched through the jury - the judge and the jailed
But sleeping beauty is dead no use pricking her thumb
And justice has got to be done
Justice just is - justice just is - justice just is - not!

Found You!
i searched for holiness...
and found you,
vulnerable, wrapped
in anger and hurt,
raw and sensitive to the touch....
i found you,
a small human dawning
on the first day of creation...
a crucifix, and a stone,
waiting to be rolled away!
i found you,
and stood in naked awe,
looking for the words,
the bridge, and the plow.
i searched for holiness...
and found you!

Dont Let The Sun Go Down On Me
I cant light no more of your darkness
All my pictures seem to fade to black and white
Im growing tired and time stands still before me
Frozen here on the ladder of my life
Too late to save myself from falling
I took a chance to change your way of life
But you misread my meaning when I met you
Closed the door and left me blinded by the light
Oh, oh
Dont let the sun go down on me
Although I searched myself
Its always someone else I see
Im just another fragment of your life
To wander free
But losing everything
Is like the sun going down on me
Sun going down on me
I cant find all the right romantic lines
But see me once and see the way I feel
Dont discard me just because you think I mean you harm
But these cuts I have for any love
And love to help them heal, help them heal
Dont let the sun go down on me
Although I searched myself
Its always someone else I see
Im just another fragment of your life
To wander free, free
But losing everything is like the sun going down on me
(dont let the sun go down on me)
Although I searched myself
Its always someone else that I see
Im just another fragment of your life
To wander free, free
But losing everything
Is like the sun going down on me
Sun going down on me
Dont let it go down on me
Dont let the sun go down on me
Dont let the sun go down on me
Dontcha let the sun go down
Go down on me, no no no
Dont let the sun
Dont let the sun go down
Dont let the sun go down on me
Dont let the sun go down
Dont let it go down, no no no no
No no no
Dont let the sun go down on me
