I searched for God and found only myself. I searched for myself and found only God.

Our Lady of Immaculate Conception!
I searched for a lady
With beauty, not external,
But of the heart,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With eyes without envy,
But glowing innocence,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With modesty, not vanity,
And heart full of piety,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With grace, not of movements,
But of the soul,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With wisdom, not knowledge,
And full of kindness,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With virtues, not vices,
And one who’s exemplary,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
Where can I find her?
-One without sin, not earthly,
One born immaculate:
And it was Mother Mary-
The Mother of Jesus:
She was that only one!

The Story Of A Search For A Poem
A man went in search of a Poem
He searched everywhere he walked
He searched inside himself
He searched inside the poems of others
He searched and searched -
And what came to him were fragments of many poems
And he thought perhaps that they themselves were the poem
But they refused to be satisfied with themselves-
So he searched for a way to put them together-
But in searching came upon more fragments
With each new fragment totally re-ordering those that had gone before-
So he thought ‘I went looking for one poem but found many
Perhaps there are only many poems’
And he began to write them down
And felt at times that he had found many poems
But always too he knew he had not found the one-
So he searched and searched again
And could not find the Poem-
He is still searching
And does not know where the poem is
Sometimes he thinks it is hidden in the many already written
But he does not have the eye to discern it the heart to feel it-
He now is surrounded by poems-
They are everywhere-
But he still cannot find the One Poem which is the Poem for him
The Poem which is his Poem and his Poem alone-
He says he is still searching and will search to the end of his days
But he is old now and soon may be too weak to search
And so the Poem he seeks the one he has longed for all his life
May never be found
Though he goes on searching still.

Im but a lad, oh for Im twenty, tuned in to dreaming
Gazing at your sign, for mad men only, my poets screaming
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
Take me to the wild black seas of madness, the savage dancer
Clothe me in insanity and leave me, to find the answer
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you

Found You!
i searched for holiness...
and found you,
vulnerable, wrapped
in anger and hurt,
raw and sensitive to the touch....
i found you,
a small human dawning
on the first day of creation...
a crucifix, and a stone,
waiting to be rolled away!
i found you,
and stood in naked awe,
looking for the words,
the bridge, and the plow.
i searched for holiness...
and found you!

I Love You
Well he searched and searched for nights and days
Till he found the one he loved
And he wrapped her in his arms again
And then he thanked the stars above
That he found what he'd been looking for
And he stared her in the eyes
He said "I love you"
He said "I love you"
Love you

Man's Rule
I have searched for love,
Only to find hatred.
I searched for acceptance,
Only to find prejudice.
I searched for peace,
Only to find war,
I searched for freedom,
Only to be sentenced,
I looked for shelter,
But only found an open wintery sky.
I searched for water,
But nothing could quench my thirst.
The lord beckoned me,
From his throne on high.
They treated you with hatred,
But bath in my love.
They treated you with prejudice,
But my son I accept you.
They brought you war,
But I shall give you peace.
They imprisoned you,
But I shall give you freedom.
You slept under an open wintery sky,
But here shelter in my paradise.
They did not quench your thirst,
But I shall let you drink from my own cup.

Diddy Ba Bin
wa wa diddy ba
oer the way of kuriga
searched for love
and found a cave
and from above
a pact was made
and there he spent
the rest his days
saying wa wa diddy ba
searched for love and
found a voice
which gave him then
a bowl filled thrice
and everywhere the ba ba went
his bowl was filled
with sticky rice
the years wore on
the days wore thin
and what was left of ba ba bin
was found among the curios
and a bowl filled full
of cheerios

Rainbow Love
Don gibson
I looked behind a silver cloud, I found a pretty rainbow there
I walked out to the rainbows end and found a rainbow love
The one that I was looking for, the dream that I was dreaming of
There, down at the rainbows end I found a rainbow love
I found my pot of gold, my rainbow love
Just you and all your loving, charming rainbow love
I searched, hoped someday Id find someone to bring me peace of mind
I found what Ive been dreaming of when I found my rainbow love
I found my pot of gold, my rainbow love
Just you and all your loving, charming rainbow love
I searched, hoped someday Id find someone to bring me peace of mind
I found what Ive been dreaming of when I found my rainbow love

The Search-Potraga
we searched for him among the living-but in vain
we searched for him among the wounded- but he was dead
we searched for him among the missing ones
and there he was - but nothing
we searched for him - you and I
tražiči smo ga među živima i bio je tamo no zalud
tražili smo ga među ranjenima i bio je tamo no mrtav
tražili smo ga među nestalima
i bio je tamo pa ništa
tražili ga - ti i ja

Heartbeat
looking the sky,
I searched you.
there,
with my two eyes,
looking the sea,
I searched you.
but both places,
I got nothing,
you are not
before my eyes
at last,
I searched you within,
my heart.
and surprisingly my god!
I got you there. As an immortal piece
You are always with me
I have a sea of love for you
Just waiting!
When you will come in my life
As a newly married thus my wife.
in my heart
you live and throb.
same as my heartbeat

For Other Eyes
I dont know what I would do
If this letter should fall into
Other hands than it should pass through
For other eyes
He said, it was nothing...its over and done
But the rotten worm was burrowing still
Its spirit invades me bleeding me white
For other replies
I searched his pockets
I searched his eyes
I searched his wallet for clues and lies
And I found a number that I somehow dialed
A woman answered, a woman smiled
Then she hung up on the silence unperplexed
Innocently spun her rolodex
I dialed again I could not resist
Revealing just the dentist receptionist
One day well laugh about it or maybe well curse
But there is one thing that is making it worse
And its the lack of forgiveness that I cant disguise
No matter how well he lies
Now we dont know each other anymore
And when we touch our lips feel sore
I question the longing left in his sighs
For other eyes

Searching soul
A soul is searching.
It wants the answers it seeks.
Why did I have to go through it.
Why the hell pick me.
Im nothing special.
I dont stand out from the crowds.
A soul searches.
To find its self
A soul wants to be replenished.
A soul has searched
For so very long.
A soul is to search
Maybe the answers
It will never no.
A soul has searched
And never found
What it wants and needs.
A soul could search forever
And never find it

My Wish Came True
(words & music by hunter)
My wish came true
When I met you
Ive searched and searched
My whole life through
Theres just one thing
Dear before we start
Dont say you care
Then break my heart
When you speak of love
Please be sincere
For if you play with love
It can bring tears my dear
My wish came true
To my surprise
When you stood there before my eyes
And when my heart
Started beating fast
Twas then I knew
I found true love at last

The Land Of The Love
I searched the love in somebody's heart
I searched the tender in somebody's eyes
For the real love that is so hard to be found
You must forget all your rights that oneday you have fought about
The mortal love that so hard to be found
Your identity will disappear there
There at the land of the love
You may waist your dignity
All your red dreams that oneday were
Oneday were burried in your imagination
With foist feelings I am back now I was lost at the land of the love
Searching the true love was so hard for me
Unfortunately I couldn't find the pure love there
When I traveled to the land of the love
I found the artifice of the lovers there
And there I never can be satisfied
At the land that never ever exists the sacrifice
And there never can born the love in the hearts
At the land that rarely I found sacrifice
The burning eyes of the lovers
The tenderful glances were disappeared there
The artifice had colonized there
I escaped from the land of the love with destroyed feelings
I am sorry that the love deserted the land of the love
And the hearts were so bare and brutal
Only the interests were living there
The real love I could not find there!

River Of Dreams************6/17/06
6/17/06
As they paddled down the river of dreams
And of plans and schemes
Seeking the little white dove
Who is of peace and love.
They searched high and they searched low
They searched until the moon began to glow.
They traveled by the moonlit night
Seeking that bird in its flight
Upon arriving on the beaches shores
Their search ended forever more.
The bird of love was in plain sight
Because they had not given up the fight.
The love came upon them as the
Stars upon the sea
Whispering ever so sweetly.
And on this you can depend
You have reached your journeys end.

I Found Lovin'
[Verse 1:]
I search for love before
For a love that I thought I couldn't find
I searched in and day out
For a love that was mine all mine
[Hook:]
I've played around with love before
I was silly and you know that I played the fool
But then you came and took my life and you changed it
Cause I know what I want and where it's at Yeah
[Chorus:]
I found lovin'
Since I found you
I'm in love with you
I found lovin'
Since I found you
I'm in love with you
I found lovin'
[Verse 2:]
My sun rises on your face
When I see that certain glow
But picture this it's so right
You're my delight
And that's why I love you so
[Hook:]
I've played around with love before
I was silly and you know that I played the fool
But then you came and took my life and you changed it
Cause I know what I want and where it's at, with you
[Chorus:]
I found lovin' (Somebody to treat me right)
Since I found you
I'm in love with you babe
I found lovin'
Since I found you
I'm in love with with you
I found lovin'
Yeah, ooh yeah, I found love baby, uh huh, somebody to treat me right, oh yeah, I found
some love, promise to be true to ya baby, oh yeah, I found somebody, I ofund it all in you,
oh yeah, lovin', lovin', lovin', lovin', I found some love, baby I love you, I love you oh
yeah, I found some lovin', lovin', lovin', yeah oh yea mmmm, I found some lovin', lovin',
mmmm yeah oh yeah, I found some lovin', lovin', lovin', oh yeah I found some lovin' I found
it all in you

Paradox
A philanthropist who has nothing
as he gave everything.
Only his spouse and two daughters remaining.
One day a beggar came and asked for alms.
He searched everywhere in the house
but nothing found.
At last he gave him the children.
Wife mourned the whole day.
The following night
a thief found nothing in the house
and stolen his wife.
