Vultures!
Vultures not aware that they are torturers,
Eagle may assume that they are simple predators,
Circling above the ground, enjoying the breezy wind,
looking down with deep eyes only for one thing.
When their prey is spotted, the concentration get centered,
Eyes on that prey, the thought on that prey,
Wings stop to swing before a forceful delay,
Legs, claws and the nails just land on that display.
Vultures are there in you and I,
When the business man looks for the business,
When the doctors wait for the patients,
When the lawyers wait for the clients,
When the leaders wait for the votes,
Vultures are everywhere in them, you and I.

There ‘re Vultures All Around
Vultures in the sky
Vultures on the ground
There are vultures all around
In search of prey
They move their eyes
They do not whisper
They do not shout
Silently wait
For the opportune time
Mercilessly kill
To fulfill their desire
By hook or by crook
Without bothering
Who the killed one is?

The Girls From Here To The Other Corners Of The World
yes, yuri, the girl from cebu
whose heart has turned to stone
is not an exception,
if fact she is a general rule,
they are uprooted from
the clutches of poverty
from fathers who are
unemployed from mothers
who earn their living
on the simplest chores
of household keeping
where there is nothing
to keep, of fish vending
where there is no fish,
of selling vegetables
where there is no
good harvest, and so
these girls have to
attend to themselves,
and the internet has
become the tool,
display their wares
seduce the south african
male for an exotic treat
of oriental coyness
and shyness feigned,
enticing the whites
and blacks to pour
their dollars on their
innocent breasts,
these occur so
regularly as a matter
of accepted occupation,
predator prey relationships
thrive, vultures come and
wait, because there are
dead meat offered in
our streets aplenty in the
internet.....blame them?
reprimand who?
let them play their games
let them find out who is
the prey and who is the
predator, because Yuri,
they are all big enough
and we just mind our
own business, let one
find his pleasure, and
let the other give it to him.
and let us watch who
punishes whom, who
gains who loses in
their own free games.

I Should Have Been More Like Her
The little man
on my shoulder says
I should have been more
like her,
sugar sweet
but that's not me.
He says
I should have been more like her-
move to deceive
to keep him;
I'll not;
even if the price I pay
is Lonely.
Should have been
more observant
perhaps
and noticed all this
but mine
is not to compete
rather I strive to
complete;
to link-
the linkage
between
which seems
to me
builds foundations
that relationships
really need
to live beyond
the first kiss.
But the little man
says I am too wise
in this
and counsels
that first catch your prey
then educate.
I cannot
prey
upon my prey;
it's not my way.
I wait;
I say
for the right way
and the little man
goes poof
and
disappears.

Lions, wolves, and vultures don't live together in herds, droves or flocks. Of all animals of prey, man is the only sociable one. Every one of us preys upon his neighbor, and yet we herd together.
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But ONLY if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

Rain Or Shine
the vultures at the zoo
(all three of them)
sit very quietly in their
caged tree
and below
on the ground
are chunks of rotten meat.
the vultures are over-full.
our taxes have fed them
well.
we move on to the next
cage.
a man is in there
sitting on the ground
eating
his own shit.
i recognize him as
our former mailman.
his favorite expression
had been:
"have a beautiful day."
that day i did.

That Tsusami There You See
What in the world is that approaching?
'That is a 'tsusami'.
A destructive and deadly wave.'
Why are you walking slowly,
And looking up at the sky?
'Feeling blessed and doing my daily exercise.
Enjoying nature and those beautiful sights I see,
Before my eyes.'
Aren't you afraid this 'wave' will destroy all you've got?
'I've witnessed that wave approaching from the horizon.
And I've shared that warning made to some.
Others stood and looked with me.
But their sights were distracted.
They preferred to have fun.
You know the ones who hear something said?
The ones who have other priorities...
Dancing around in their deluded heads.
The ones who claim they are aware...
But hey,
Who cares?
Economically,
I've been busted for years.
And have lived a basic life.
One that has provided me a peace of mind I like!
That tsusami there you see...
Will have little to none,
Effect on me.
But the others you see staring?
They're so stunned.
They can not run!
And besides...
Where will they go?
Into mortgaged homes on loan?
To grab something believed they still own?
As creditors await.
Like vultures surrounding prey,
For something of value to confiscate.
I am comfortable just where I am! '
Well...
I gotta go.
That 'thing' to me is getting too close!

A Terrible Analogy
Trying to keep my mind innocent,
Is like trying to convince others
I have fond memories,
Of picking oranges...
From the lush orange groves,
Grown in Death Valley.
And the vultures loved the dance classes I taught,
To the songs sung by Madonna.
'First of all...
That is a terrible analogy!
Death Valley is primarily a desert in California.
And vultures are not easily trained to dance.
I'm related to a few of them that have no rhythm at all!
Why are you looking at me like that?
I'm not stupid! '
No...
I'm not thinking that.
'It would be a waste of time,
To wait to pick something that will not...
And can not grow.'
You have no idea how much I agree with you!

Olney Hymn 2: Jehovah-Jireh: The Lord Will Provide
The saints should never be dismay'd,
Nor sink in hopeless fear;
For when they least expect His aid,
The Saviour will appear.
This Abraham found: he raised the knife;
God saw, and said, 'Forbear!
Yon ram shall yield his meaner life;
Behold the victim there.'
Once David seem'd Saul's certain prey;
But hark! the foe's at hand;
Saul turns his arms another way,
To save the invaded land.
When Jonah sunk beneath the wave,
He thought to rise no more;
But God prepared a fish to save,
And bear him to the shore.
Blest proofs of power and grace divine,
That meet us in His word!
May every deep-felt care of mine
Be trusted with the Lord.
Wait for His seasonable aid,
And though it tarry, wait:
The promise may be long delay'd,
But cannot come too late.

Be Proud
Be pride and poison for it,
Poor is the friar who took.
Pleasure is soon, sooner than ever,
When bones are picked by the vultures
Over our heads that speak of those ones that fly nearby.
Be proud and in the death of others be proud
Against a fountain of rifles and ammunition,
These are the guns we lift to our eyes and let vultures fly to die.
The monks are not in the vicinity, like hairy monks.

Lawyer's Paradise
Some times law is very confusing
System of courts is quite amusing,
The cases are not disposed off fast
So significance of the justice is lost.
One or for other reason day after day
Months and years, cases are delayed.
Justice seekers wait long in the process
Pay for being victim of the dilatoriness.
Lawyers get adjournment every time
And charge to their clients per diem.
Some times to harass the opposition
Take adjournment for flimsy reason.
Many clients are poor and uneducated
Pay for justice and wait time unlimited.
The client suffers by adjournment practice
And unfortunately fall victim to injustice.
Some lawyers are habitual of adjournment
Some Continue meaningless argument;
For each adjournment client has to pay
Lawyer extract money, clients face delay.
Courts which do not timely decide
Are the places of lawyers paradise.

Familiars
In the darkness
They send chills down my spine
The bare descending moon
Has burst into life
Hunting and suffering with prisoned eyes
Familiars play in moonlit skies
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
The nerves from the creatures
That you receive
Black magic is here
Bow down to it's knees
No emotion, Familiars can grasp
The adrenaline rush takes over so fast
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
These blue hearts
They will scream
They will scream
You feel them screaming, mourning in the shadows
They will scream...

Bird Of Prey
I can see that look that says beware
Try to move in closer if you dare
So I must sit and play
My waiting game
And for a while I know
Shell do the same
Fly away
Watches like an eagle from its eerie
And like a bird of prey
She captures me
But I am older and
More wise than you
Bird of prey
Straight into me you flew
Fly away
Now every time I tried to set her free
Im glad to say she comes
Right back to me
But if I knew she didnt want to stay
I wouldnt try to keep that
Lovely bird of prey

Frogs find flies as their prey;
Birds find worms as their prey;

Airplane
Over the city in an airplane
I can see everything below
The houses they look so tiny
The cars look like dots
Weve only got fifteen minutes to go
The clouds in the sky caress my mind so tenderly
The sun shines down on the great big beautiful scene
The sound of the engine fills my ears up
Im hopin this rainy weather clears up
My lover is waiting at the airport
Soon shell be kissing me hello
The woman sitting next to me tells me bout her guy
And I tell her all about you and i
Airplane, airplane
Carry me back to her side
Airplane, airplane
I need God as my guide
Down, down on the ground
Cant wait to see her face
(a-1, a-2, a-1, 2, 3)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)
I cant wait (cant wait)
To see (her face)

Broken wings fly again.....
seems letting it go, and digest
sweet honey flesh of tongue of every
lips that bites the bitter lies
poison every eye and make for a
better last, for the arms
and nails never grow, as the season
stop to know
wait tell it glow, the pavement always
wonder where to slow, the ending
wait the point for a little show
oh! mockery of every stage, wait me
no more, than a vigor of wings to
fly, the turmoil of wind comes
forever more
wings flew, broken it may seems, yet!
hold the feather push to a
distance place to go, hide and strike
as it fly in the sky
sore high, the limitless sky, own no one,
for only who dream to fly
can reach the highest wind, beyond
the wings
behind the sweating breath, hold on and
up, until you touch the sky.......

We Are Worried
We are worried
Our once prosperous land
Is now a beggar
We are worried
Our incandescent light
Is now blurred
We are worried
Love no longer co-habits
On our wide streets
We are worried
That brothers slaughter brothers
All in the name of God
We are worried
How vultures prey
On our commonwealth
We are worried
The gap gets wider
Between the rich and the poor
We are worried
About our youths
Whose destinies are bleak.
We are worried
That the ship may sink
Like the titanic.
We are worried
We do not know who to trust
We are worried of many things

Naked Truths
Stripping me of naked truths
The promise i desire
Working it out in my mind
Is like sleeping on barbed wire
The only thing i want, can come from you
You're my only hope, to pull me through
I'm leaving it upto you
I'm leaving it upto you
I prey to god you know what to do
Do you?
I'm walking in the dark, sleeping in sunshine
I'm forward in my thoughts
But backwards in my mind
I'm laying with a gun
And laying straight
If this wayward bullet strays
It'll kill the wait
The only thing i want, can come from you
You're my only hope to pull me through
I'm leaving it upto you
I'm leaving it upto you
I prey to god you know what to do
Do you?
Do you?
My battered heart's been bruised
My soul erased
All because dust has settled
On my very distant grave
I don't know what to do
So till then i'll sleep.
An i trust
So i'm gonna leave it upto you
The only thing i want, can come from you
You're my only hope to pull me through
I'm leaving it upto you
I'm leaving it upto you
I prey to god you know what to do
Do you?
Do you?
Do you?

Black Beauty
Behold the black panther's beauty!
That striking set of eyes!
Yet survival sets its duty -
To hunt until he dies...
So each night, he's slowly bidden
To stalk his prey once more...
Within that darkness he's hidden,
In silence, to be sure...
He treads the ground with gentle paws,
He sniffs the breeze for clues,
He hides his teeth, he hides his claws,
This untamed wild recluse...
The night is young, his turn will come...
His blood runs cold each time...
His heart is beating like a drum...
Yet onward he must climb.
The hours pass, yet he must wait...
The vigil must be kept.
No rest, he mustn't hesitate...
He mustn't be inept!
Was that a rustling dead ahead?
Was that his answered prayer?
Was that a creature that just fled?
All he could do was stare!
Here was the beauty and the beast...
The devil in disguise...
With hunger raging, unappeased...
Till something near him dies...
I pity him, his victims, too...
Is there no other way?
Each night they do what they must do,
The hunter and the prey...
