A Frisky Lamb
A frisky lamb
And a frisky child
Playing their pranks
In a cowslip meadow:
The sky all blue
And the air all mild
And the fields all sun
And the lanes half shadow.

Rare Friend
I will be your rare friend;
Spend many hours meditating on your success.
I will be your rare friend;
Be there for you when you are not at your best.
I will be your rare friend;
One who will take you home when your legs tire.
I will be your rare friend;
And will be beside you when go through the fire.
I will be your rare friend;
When others abandon you and laugh at you.
I will be your rare friend;
Not caring the color of your skin or what you do.
I will be your rare friend;
I will be your rare friend because its true, I am you.

Bus Stop Boxer
I dont miss where I came from
But each night I dream about being back home
When I wake up in the morning
Im too tired, tired of being alone
So I get up and go downtown
And pick me out a little piece of ground
Where I can prove something to the world
I can prove something to the world
Dont look at me
Im the bus stop boxer x2
Daddy put us in the truck and
Dropped us off and said good luck, then
One lucky kid waiting for the bus
Made a winner out of one of us
Dont look at me
Im the bus stop boxer x2
Going down by the railroad tracks, where
People know that they better not relax
Im the man, baby, I am the man
This is where I can make you understand
Im the bus stop boxer
Dont look at me x2

Fossiled
The frisky jelly fish smiles,
As Neptune’s untamed sea-horse
Excavates
A mermaid’s heart - fossiled
Beneath white coral dreams.

Jim Defends Sue-z Q
Chairs go flying with the drinks,
chaos sets in and no one thinks,
For a second Jim was down,
with glasses on the ground.
Luckily Jim finally did get up,
with the help of Skunky chump.
Then of course Jim’s dear old foe,
turned to him and to let him know.
He was a boxer &
not to mess with him,
Boxer works out in the gym.
Now Jim really didn’t care,
and right then & there he did share,
“I love the drama”
he said out loud.
For Sue-Z his sweetheart,
he was proud,
to defend her to the end.
Jim was not a coward or a fool,
he would defend sweet Sue-Z Q
at any & every bar stool,
so think next time before you drool.

A Woman in her sixties
My name is Woo Man
A rare name of the bygone Native.
Isn't it?
My caretaker, sixfooter a liar
And a former reputed Boxer
Who's in the Seventieth milepost
Eloped with a teenager
Like his daughter
In her racing car.
I would like to dance in the Hurricane
And show him that I am not an Icing cake
Really capable to fight still in the Ring
And bring the champion trophy home.
*[The monk Ananda a senior disciple of Buddha once inquired on their way to a certain place when they met a beautiful Woman, 'Sir, What do you think of a Woman? ' 'Great and precious Ananda but an obstacle for our Monastic journey, I smiled with her when we passed that's all but she accompanies with Ananda I think.' The Buddha said. Then he blushed.]

The Pugilist
You need to be tough to be a boxer
it helps to have a granite like chin
be able to move and bob and weave
and get up off the canvas to win.
Hours and hours of sparring at the gym
cauliflower ears and a nose that bends
sit-ups, press-ups, and punching the bags,
blood, sweat, and tears are his closest friends.
The boxer hears the noise of the crowd
screaming, shouting, baying for blood,
but he battles on ignoring his pain
ahead on points and fighting real good.
Remember all of what the trainer has said
stay on your feet and don't go down
but his strength is going can he go on?
he must if he wants to win that crown.
Cut and bloodied and out on his feet
he holds on to the end of the fight
the referee walks over and raises his arm
now a new champion reigns supreme tonight!

Poet/bum
There's a thin line between the poet and the bum,
Usually both are broke,
In boxing circles, there's the bum of the month,
And like the poet, considered a joke.
For instance, a poet has to fight for respect,
Like any boxer risking his neck,
The poet fights with words he understands,
The boxer fights with his hands.
Neither fighter can afford to be afraid,
Taking a hit from a move delayed,
Clobbered by critics, or clobbered in the ring,
Can sting.
As remote as it may sound,
They both have to survive the round,
Neither wants to remain the tramp,
Both would choose to be the champ.
They exist on a parallel track,
With no time to look back,
They touch gloves with Heaven and Hell,
In an endless fight till the final bell.

Rare Meat.
Rare meat.
The blackbird seem to sing.
And though I spluttered
'I am vegetarian'
Rare Meat, rare meat!
And my neighbour
Talked of the importance of
'Being in harness again'
Then I realised,
The bird was much nearer to understanding
The kind of species I am!
Rare meat!
And cannon fodder for the cowboys
And manipulators,
All the same!
For my heart
Will always stray to the unheard tune.
And the song of the bird,
Comforted the taut nerves
Of a weary owl.
Who`s been round the clock,
But still does not like the carousel!

Pulsating
In the cavernous mind
a thought becomes
redundant.
You go straight for a snakeroot.
A flat cluster of white flowers
spurs a stigma
at the white moon
for floating rumors.
This was my native pain
of brilliant tapestry.
The threads had a weaver’s knot
of rare beliefs.

Rare, Precious & Gone
Cry baby boy, not tears of joy
The one you held is no longer your toy
Shes got her new boots and her make up on
You can call her your friend
But not your lover again
Shes made it clear as air that this affair is at an end
So what are you doing holding on?
Dont you see shes
Rare, precious and shes gone
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
She was soft in your hands, now shes shattered your plans
Im sympathetic but youve got to understand
You tried to squeeze her somewhere
She just dont belong
She was being sincere when she breathed in your ear
As long as there were stars in the night sky shed be near
Even angels get it wrong!
Wont you see shes
Rare, precious and shes gone
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
Its a subtle trap
Seeding guilt in her mind
But she aint taking your crap
This time
Boy youre out on a line...
Shes a queen among women, a child among queens
The finest thing that your lovesick eyes have ever seen
Shes a rose without a thorn
Shes a peach, shes a prize
A gift in disguise
Shes graceful and colourful and when she grows
Shell be wise
But most of all my friend, shes gone
Gone, gone gone!
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
Rare, precious and shes gone
Yes, shes rare, precious and shes gone
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
Gone, gone gone...

Happiness vs Sadness
Like boxers, they must compete every time they hear the bell.
Each one will take and give jabs, dancing round the ring well.
Happiness rules the early rounds, then sadness leaves its mark.
Mid way through the prize fight, things will look stark
For the boxer whose condition isn’t wrought from early days
When mind and matter most respond to influential ways.
The negative of sadness can be a lethal left cross
With its “don’ts” and “cant’s” and “won’t’s”, it guarantees a lasting loss.
But happiness breeds confidence and always keeps in sight
The weaknesses of the opponent and the reason for this fight.
The knock out punch for sadness is unconditional, selfless love
Which will triumph every time without even raising a boxer’s glove.

Where are they?
Rare are those who die with thirst unmet.
Rare are those who die with hunger unmet.
Rare are those who die with power unmet.
Where are they who die with sex fairly met?

Dirty White Boy
Hey, baby, if youre feelin down
I know whats good for you all day
Are you worried what your friends see
Will it ruin your reputation lovin me
cause Im a dirty white boy
Yeah a dirty white boy
A dirty white boy
Dont drive no big black car
Dont like no hollywood movie star
You want me to be true to you
You dont give a damn what I do to you
Im just a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy
Well, Im a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, yeah, dirty white boy
A dirty white boy
Ive been in trouble since I dont know when
Im in trouble now and I now somehow Ill find trouble again
Im a loner, but Im never alone
Every night I get one step closer to the danger zone
cause Im a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, yeah, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, Im a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy
Cmon, cmon boy
Dirty white boy, white boy
Dirty white boy, Im a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy
Hey, Im a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, yeah, Im a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy, yeah
