Just Maybe

Just maybe… If we could cat-scan our souls,
We could reveal the things our hearts conceal.
Perhaps we could identify the hole
That spills the emotions we ought to feel.
If we could X-ray the words that we say,
I wonder what language we'd come to know.
If placed upon our panoptic display,
Would the symbolic meanings come to show?
Would we detect the tiny infarctions
That distinguish the selves we've lost and found?
What truths lie in our spirit's construction,
And will we see them in the ultrasound?
If so, do we even deserve to see?
Our only answer is a ‘just maybe.'

Wise Men Still Seek Souls

The purpose of the True Church of God is to always seek out the lost,
And share with them the life changing Gospel, whatever be the cost.

Although the history of The Church is filled with gaps and lulls,
The truth throughout has always been, that wise men still seek souls.

After believing and accepting God's unmerited Gift of Salvation,
Sharing this Truth with the lost, is every Christian's obligation.

You too were once lost like your neighbor, without any Hope indeed,
However, someone who knew, took the time and planted a tiny seed.

Then The Lord used someone just like you, to water it a tiny bit,
And then in your heart, through someone's love, a tiny fire was lit.

Now using The Spirit, through people and ways we do not know,
That little tiny fire, that once was a seed, truly started to grow.

The Lord's Love and The Spirit's work, helped it continue to grow,
Then your life, and your appearance, took on a whole new glow.

As He grew from within, The Spirit shaped and kindled the fire,
Into a challenge and a love, which birthed a new found desire.

The new found desire is to share The Gospel with all whom you meet,
Because one day very soon, we shall all bow at Christ's Feet.

So my friend, could this be the day for you to reset your goals,
For wise men have and will always be lead to seek out lost souls.

Souls In Need of Biblical Truth

There are souls that are totally lost, totally adrift in religious sauce,
A religious soup, created by men, in which The Lord will condemn;
There’re those totally deceived, as The Truth they haven’t received,
Never embracing Truths of Christ, they have no hope of eternal life.

Others want nothing to do, with the One embraced by me and you,
Many truly have no want or desire, for our God, Who reigns higher;
There are men who’ve never heard, the many Truths in God’s Word,
The Eternal Truths in God’s Revelation, that brings one to salvation.

With God’s Purpose and Vision, we must reach men lost in religion,
Through the Truth from His Throne, they must come to Christ alone;
To those deceived by the enemy, The Truth we must help them see,
For in Scripture we are reminded, by Satan they have been blinded.

To all who dismiss God in every way, to God above, we must pray,
That His Holy Spirit, He imparts, to soften up the many hard hearts;
For all who never heard the Gospel, our Commission we must fulfill,
By reaching out into every nation, with the Good News of Salvation.

For all the souls presently lost, we must show the way to The Cross,
To all those deceived in this world, God’s Salvation we must herald,
For souls who want no part of Christ, we need to live a changed life,
Also for those who know not Truth, to be for Christ, His living proof.

Charade in Review

`

The masks we wear, to us are given,
assigned to us before our cue.
The choice is ours to reveal or hide-
A grand charade with many a clue.

Would you be this or be you that;
Is it surfaced or is it hidden?
Not all secrets are lies or deceit,
Our view of others we must widen.

The genuine heart will itself reveal
Its spots or stripes are where they're at.
The lot of what we think we see,
provide but circumstantial caveat.

We often discard what eyes can't see;
Too often distrust what hearts conceal.
The masquerade of life continues,
Its colours and shapes our truths congeal.

Alfred Lord Tennyson

In Memoriam A. H. H.: 5. Sometimes I Hold it half a Sin

I sometimes hold it half a sin
To put in words the grief I feel;
For words, like Nature, half reveal
And half conceal the Soul within.
But, for the unquiet heart and brain,
A use in measured language lies;
The sad mechanic exercise,
Like dull narcotics, numbing pain.
In words, like weeds, I'll wrap me o'er,
Like coarsest clothes against the cold;
But that large grief which these enfold
Is given in outline and no more.

The War

Strangers are the souls in the world of the wars
The lives cradle somehow between the death and life
They try to survive the hardship of the life the abject truths of life are there with all their ugly faces
The mercy of hearts are extinguished
The spirits at the cruelty of the men got lost
What the eyes sees the heart ignores
Ah strangers are the souls at the winter night they shiver alone
Like wounded birds they are pale ignored
Alone in this world no place for the broken souls
People are selfish their hearts deny to see others pain
Only in the war you can clearly see the simple truths of the world,

Stranger In A Strange Land

Was many years ago that I left home and came this way
I was a young man full of hopes and dreams
But now it seems that all is lost and nothing gained
Sometimes things aint what they seem
No brave new world no brave new world
Night and day I scan horizon sea and sky
My spirit wanders endlessly
Until the day will dawn and friends from home discover why
Hear me calling rescue me
Set me free, set me free
Lost in this place and leave no trace
Stranger in a strange land
Land of ice and snow
Trapped inside this prison
Lost and far from home
One hundred years have gone and men again they come that way
To find the answer to the mistery
They found his body lying where if fell that day
Preserved in time for all to see
No brave new world no brave new world
Lost in this place to leave no trace
What became off men that started
All are gone and souls departed
Left me here in this prison
So all alone

Making Our Father Proud

Within us,
Are the souls.

Within us...
Are the spirits we live.

We should clean up our acts,
And stop tarnishing our souls.
Treating them like our foes.

They have one of those too!
Like me and you.
Within us.

Within us,
Are emotions.
And some of us give them too much time!
Irritating them with self obsessed whines.
Yet others have no clue or notion...
Where to find theirs.
Or how to feel them when they're found.
If anything is there at all.

And we accuse someone else.
Anyone!
For not knowing who we are...
How we feel,
Or when we feel it!

Within us,
Are 'our' souls!
Ourselves we don't know.
Not from the soul!
There are too many of us,
Who do not show that we do...
Know within us,
Are 'our' souls!

We have chosen to make excuses!

Within us,
Are the spirits we live.
Shouldn't we be giving
Them good treatment?
And sharing that...
With our 'soul' brothers and sisters?
Making Our Father proud.

The Way I Feel

Written by christine mcvie.
Once in everyones life
You know a feeling has to grow
And you may be having a bad time
And you really shouldnt let it show
Youre taking a risk, but it doesnt matter
cos you know, you know that its real
I cant conceal the way that I feel
I cant conceal the way, the way that I feel
How many times have I told you
Oh, I adore you
And if it meant anything at all
Id do anything for you
But its too late and I know Im making
A fool, a fool of myself
But I cant conceal the way that I feel
I cant conceal the way, the way that I feel

Forget Everything You Thought You Knew

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Wipe it clean.
An absent mind till the end of time.
No more pain, let it fade.
Today is not yesterday.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Memories erased.
Scars healed.
Such a sad face.
Smile and turn it all around.
Such a sweet sound.
The heart racing.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Tear down that wall.
Make it crumble.
Make it fall.
Be careful not to stumble.
When all is lost something new can always be found.
Don't be scared for you will not drowned.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Start moving forward.
Faster and faster.
Marching upon the sands of time.
Your life defined by your every movement,
your words spoken.
So symbolic.
Meanings behind meanings.
Metaphorically speaking.
This is the way, please enjoy your stay.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget all.
Passing by with a disguise.
A change for the better.
Here my unwritten letter.
Crumbled and flying into the sky.
Don't ask why Just Forget everything you thought you knew.

Take Me Or Leave

Take me or leave,
Where found upon your discovery.
Emotions quickly rushing to attach...
I have been through that,
With far less teasing.

Take me or leave,
Without a display of interest...
With lingering eye contact.
Nothing about it can again entrap.
Unless you reveal a true feeling of affection.

Too old am I getting,
For a slow process of baiting.
Too aware of my senses,
To allow them to dance unconvinced.
And sitting on a fence in suspense,
No longer satisfies an anticipation.

Take me or leave,
Without a display of interest...
With lingering eye contact.
Nothing about it can again entrap.
Unless you reveal a true feeling of affection.

Lost Souls

Lost souls trapped all around me.
Stuck in this oblique purgatory.
Not knowing where to go or what they'll find.
Lost souls caught in a vicious grind.
Bending backwards until they break their spine.
Damn this ugly daily grind.
Broken and beaten such brutal words for token.
God help us please,
the lost souls that are diseased.
We are lost and can not be found,
the souls that are eartward bound.
These souls are lost at such a cost.

There are no freinds,
there is no love.
Just crippling pain that shoots like lightning.
I lost my soul it's all gone now.
Death is the only respite now.
So now I go and grab my gun,
pull the trigger so much fun.
My soul is lost,
no one will care.
Why should they now their souls are bare.

Poets Lost In Translation

several differing translations
of some masterpiece poems
written by immortal poets
timeless especially esteemed
written in foreign languages

stresses how much poetry
suffers lost in translation
it is the hardest literary
medium to translate due
to the multiple meanings

of some words choice chosen
in the original mother language
the wonderful poetic effects
linking such words achieves
resonates in receptive souls

Is a good translation only
achieved when the translator
is a poet with a mother tongue
knowledge of both languages
in use vibrating admiration?

Is an intimate knowledge
a unique empathic sensitivity
for chosen poet in translation
a prime necessity in translating
feelings emotions ideals writ?

Lost in Love.....

Lost in love
with the innocense of your eyes when i first saw you,

Lost in love
with your humble voice that made me crave for it even more,

Lost in love
when being friends we came to know the incompleteness in our lives,

Lost in love
with the nervousness i felt when i first expressed my love and emotions,

Lost in love
with the smell of your hairs that mesmerized me,

Lost in love
with the gulabi lips that took me to a dream world,

Lost in love
with the kissable hands that i always want to hold till eternal love,

Lost in love
with the sensuous touch of yours which made me feel heavenly,

Lost in love
with your heartbeat that made me feel very close to your heart,

Lost in love
with the ticklish tummy of yours that lightened my senses,

Lost in love
with the hug of yours which made me feel complete,

Lost in love
with the kiss of yours that lessened the gap between our souls,

Lost in love
with the pain you took to keep our relation,

Lost in love
when we were departed and alone,

Lost in love
with the undying feeling of yours that kept me awake all night,

Lost in love
when we have found our WAY BACK INTO LOVE.

Under Construction

His accent serenades me
And presses at the door
Broken promise to be
Around for my mind war
And my accomplishments interrogating me
Todays become tomorrow
Before I wanted it to be
And desperate discussions
The start of the destruction
Our sign, in my mind
Ill be fine
Ill be fine
cause Im under construction everyone
So youll have to mind the mess
Im under some construction
I always had to try harder
I never really could keep up
Sitting in the corner
With my illness and bad luck
But in this humble place Im feeling like red wine
And I hope to get better
With some time
Ill be fine
With some time
Ill be fine
cause Im under construction everyone
So youll have to mind the mess
Im under some construction
Confection
Modification
Motivation
Of construction
And the rituals that soothe
And disgust me will be gone
With some time
Ill be fine
With some time
Ill be fine
Ill be fine
Im under construction everyone
So youll have to mind the mess
Im under some construction
Im under construction everyone
So youll have to mind the mess
Im under some construction
Under construction
Construction
Feel better with some construction

Midnight At The Lost And Found

Hey Ricky, now mine is empty
How about one for you
We could set it out together
Seems tomorrow's overdue
Captain Video, done went home
One pilot laid to rest
And dragon ladies talk that talk
About who loves who - who loves best
Silver bullets in the jukebox
Spin another round
Everybody at the back of the line
It's midnight at the lost and found
Midnight at the lost and found
Lost souls in the hunting ground
A remedy for all your ills
At the lost and found
Midnight at the lost and found
Midnight...
Have a double it's gettin' late
You'll get home home, just rely on fate
Place just finally came alive
Good old boys just arrived
Stools keep changin' faces
And the night just slips away
And like a long distance love affair
Soon you've got to pay
Silver bullets in the jukebox
Spin another round
Everybody at the back of the line
It's midnight at the lost and found
Midnight at the lost and found
Lost souls in the hunting ground
A remedy for all your ills
At the lost and found
Midnight at the lost and found
Midnight...
Hangin' on barely, hitch a ride away
Belly up and bury, boy, all the hurt you feel today
Hangin' on barely, hitch a ride away
Belly up and bury, boy, all the hurt you feel today
Silver bullets in the jukebox
Spin another round
Everybody get back in line
Last call for the lost and found
Midnight at the lost and found
Lost souls in the hunting ground
A remedy for all your ills
At the lost and found
Midnight at the lost and found
Lost souls in the hunting ground
A remedy for all your ills
At the lost and found
Midnight at the lost and found
Lost souls in the hunting ground
A remedy for all your ills
At the lost and found

Poetpower

Poetpower

Poets are a necessity
as every thinking person knows.
The conscience of society.
Who else but poets dare to pose.
Hard questions to the powers that be
which they could answer if they chose.
Instead of imposed secrecy.
Which gives us reason to suppose.

That they have something to conceal.
So we suspect dishonesty.
Our probing questions will reveal
it’s mainly inefficiency.
Which does not alter how we feel.
If the admitted openly
The problems which they now conceal
We’d listen sympathetically.

Instead of treating us like fools.
Who have no right or need to know
They hide behind their book of rules
try to maintain the status quo
We poets use our words as tools
to prove to them it isn’t so
for public tolerance soon cools.
A truth they do not seem to know.

A Thought Upon the Power of Words

Words have the power to please the soul of awareness
Words have the power of ecstasy; they have the power to heal or to scorn
Words have the power to rebuild worlds that have been torn apart by words.
Words have the power to invoke, to choke and to joke,
They have the power to bring you to your knees just as they have the power to plea.
Words have the power to incite trance like states, they have the power of fate,
They conceal meanings deeper than he greatest oceans and are a method
By which we express the emotions we feel, just as we may use them to question
What we consider to be real. You can incite love, hatred, fear,
You can bring a tear to the most stone cold of king giants and you may
Describe the sorrows of the world yet through words we may also share our dreams,
We may ponder upon the events of tomorrow and we may laugh with one another.
We may love and express love through our words though at times we go unheard,
We may share in our experience as we may laugh alongside memories ghost.
Words are the host to our instinctive knowing of all we wish to express,
Words are the dressing of our wisdoms blessing, with words we may put the soul to rest.

Seize the day for grandaughter chitra

Seize the day

We rarely know how others feel
Because they are afraid to say
and think it wiser to conceal.
Emotions that they daren’t display.

Although they are attracted to
your looks and personality
The are afraid if the tell you
you may reject them completely.

So seize the opportunity
it may not ever come again.
Speak honestly and openly
you may lose less than what you gain.

Perhaps she feels the same way too.
Unless you speak you’ll never know.
She’s probably as scared as you
to let her inner feeling show.

What fate decrees will come to be.
Despite your lack of confidence.
I can tell you with certainty.
This has been my experience.

Say what you feel what can you lose?
Sometimes you have to take a chance.
A still tongues is of little use
when you are searching for romance,
