On Mrs. Ar: F: Leaving London
From Town fair Arabella flies,
The Beaux unpowder'd grieve,
The Rivers play before her eyes,
The Breezes softly breathing rise
The Spring begins to live.
Her Lovers swore they must expire
Yet quickly find their Ease,
For as she goes, their Flames retire
Love thrives before a nearer fire
Esteem by distant Rays.
Yet soon the Fair one will return
When Summer quits the Plain
Ye Rivers pour the weeping Urn,
Ye Breezes sadly sighing mourn,
Ye Lovers burn again.
'Tis constancy enough in Love
That Nature's fairly shewn
To search for more will fruitless prove
Romances and the Turtle Dove
The Virtue boast alone.

Summer Night
On a breezy summer night
when love is in the air,
sits a sad and lonely man
with a lonely, lonely stare.
What seems to be vacant eyes
are eyes that remember where
he spent his summer nights in love
and never had a care.
His mind is filled with nights he spent
with the one that was his own.
The summer breezes blew her hair,
the strands of it windblown.
And now the heat is stifling
as he pictures her young face.
Now all his nights are endless,
timeless, endless space.
So he sits on a summer night alone
with memories that won't leave
and stares vacantly at lovers
that makes his heart still grieve.
For summer has never been the same,
nor will it ever be.
It's only for present lovers,
not for he and she.

Its funny how you sound as though youre right next door
When youre really half a world away
I just cant seem to find the words Im looking for
To say the things that I want to say
I cant remember when I felt so close to you
Its almost more than I can bear
And though I seem half a million miles from you
You are in my heart and living there
And the moon and the stars are the same ones you see
Its the same old sun up in the sky
And your voice in my ear is like heaven to me
Like the breezes here in old shanghai
There are lovers who walk hand in hand in the park
And lovers who walk all alone
There are lovers who lie unafraid in the dark
And lovers who long for home
Oh, I couldnt leave you even if I wanted to
Youre in my dreams and always near
And especially when I sing the songs I wrote for you
You are in my heart and living there
And the moon and the stars are the same ones you see
Its the same old sun up in the sky
And your face in my dreams is like heaven to me
Like the breezes here in old shanghai
Shanghai breezes cool and clearing evenings sweet caress
Shanghai breezes soft and gentle remind me of your tenderness
And the moon and the stars are the same ones you see
Its the same old sun up in the sky
And your love in my life is like heaven to me
Like the breezes here in old shanghai
And the moon and the stars are the same ones you see
Its the same old sun up in the sky
And your love in my life is like heaven to me
Like the breezes here in old shanghai
Just like the breezes here in old shanghai

Dark and Deadly
Dark and deadly are these pains that reside in my head,
One falters with chilly winds, the very cool friends,
Then the winds are breezes, more breezes to be bled.
Dust and dirt are elite elements for all the men with a bed,
One seeks misery when there is misery that attends,
Dark and deadly are these pains that reside in my head.
Mighty rivers applaud the taste of the truly bred,
One stays in a whole sea for the corn that defends,
Then the winds are breezes, more breezes to be bled.
When do waters boil? And where are the flowers dead?
One picks up plants forcing the very grand ends,
Dark and deadly are these pains that reside in my head.
The delirious means used by some are to what fed?
One of us mends hearts too fragile, one that bends,
Then the winds are breezes, more breezes to be bled.
A delightful method gains acceptance from those to imbed,
One’s agony seems too fair as the fairest intends,
Dark and deadly are these pains that reside in my head,
Then the winds are breezes, more breezes to be bled.

Lovers In Spring
Spring is for lovers
wherever spring is.
Lovers can find it.
It's hers. It's his.
Others may smell it
and not know it's there
for the aroma of flowers
are for two to share.
Love brings nature
close to your heart.
It intensifies in beauty
and plays its part
instilling in lovers
what it does mean
to inhale together
an exquisite scene.
And as the sap rises
in each and every tree
love will blossom
for you and for me.
For we are two lovers
that wait every year
for spring to enfold us
and hold us so near.

The Beautiful Lady Of The May
I.
A quire of bright beauties in spring did appear,
To choose a May-lady to govern the year;
All the nymphs were in white, and the shepherds in green,
The garland was given, and Phillis was queen;
But Phillis refused it, and sighing did say,
I'll not wear a garland while Pan is away.
II.
While Pan and fair Syrinx are fled from our shore,
The Graces are banished, and Love is no more:
The soft god of pleasure that warmed our desires
Has broken his bow, and extinguished his fires,
And vows that himself and his mother will mourn,
Till Pan and fair Syrinx in triumph return.
III.
Forbear your addresses, and court us no more,
For we will perform what the Deity swore:
But, if you dare think of deserving our charms,
Away with your sheephooks, and take to your arms;
Then laurels and myrtles your brows shall adorn,
When Pan and his son and fair Syrinx return.

Lovers Walk
I wont walk with my head bowed
(be on) beyond caution where lovers walk
My love walks where threes a crowd
Beyond caution where lovers walk
Lovers walk, lovers scramble
Beyond caution where the lovers walk
Lovers step, shuffle and gamble
Beyond caution where lovers walk
Lovers trip, lovers stumble
Lovers dip, lovers fumble
Lovers lip where love has crumbled
Beyond caution where lovers walk
Lovers strut, lovers stroll, lovers leap
Lovers late, lovers wait
Making promises that they cant keep
Lovers link up arm and arm
Lovers slink up, lovers charm
Lovers drink up and come to harm
Beyond caution where lovers walk
Love is gone and its no ones fault
Love has stopped here, lovers halt
Lovers dont walk, lovers run
Will you look what love has done
Will you look what love has done
Will you look what love has done
Beyond caution where lovers walk
Now loves limping on a lovers crutch
Looking for a hand with a personal touch
Beyond caution where lovers walk

Shall I Wasting in Despair
Shall I wasting in despair
Die because a woman's fair?
Or make pale my cheeks with care
'Cause another's rosy are?
Be she fairer than the day,
Or the flow'ry meads in May,
If she be not so to me,
What care I how fair she be?
Shall my heart be griev'd or pin'd
'Cause I see a woman kind?
Or a well-disposed nature
Joined with a lovely feature?
Be she meeker, kinder, than
Turtle dove or pelican,
If she be not so to me,
What care I how kind she be?
Shall a woman's virtues move
Me to perish for her love?
Or her well-deserving known
Make me quite forget mine own?
Be she with that goodness blest
Which may gain her name of best
If she be not such to me,
What care I, how good she be?
'Cause her fortune seems too high
Shall I play the fool and die?
Those that bear a noble mind,
Where they want of riches find,
Think what with them they would
That without them dare to woo;
And unless that mind I see,
What care I how great she be?
Great, or good, or kind, or fair,
I will ne'er the more despair;
If she love me, this believe,
I will die ere she shall grieve;
If she slight me when I woo,
I can scorn and let her go;
For if she be not for me,
What care I for whom she be?

Warm, Balmy And Gentle Breezes
Warm breezes glide across an open space,
with such invisible grace,
as if they were off on a chase,
wafting softly against my face,
with urgency to win an endless race.
Balmy breezes flow between large dense trees,
with such a veritable ease,
and one can tell, they do as they please,
tickling the feet, the legs and knees,
with urgency there’s a longing to tease.
Gentle breezes pass smoothly on their way,
with such a persistence, they play,
for to them it’s just another day,
they cannot stop and cannot stay,
with urgency they ruffle the rosebay.

Burn One Down
I guess youre off to have your fun
Another ending just begun
And I know what I dont see
Really shouldnt bother me
So go and have yourself a ball
Youll be at no ones beck and call
And with that fire in your eyes
Another lovers moon will rise
And someone else will take the fall
And thats just the way you are, Ive known all along
Some candles always burn even when the night is gone
But the strongest of flames wont burn eternally
When you find another friend wholl light your candle up again
You can burn one down for me
So you dont matter anymore
Ill convince myself, Im sure
As if I give a damn
Thats just the way I am
So go on and pour yourself some wine
With wholl ever spend your time
cause anyone can see you wont be crying over me
And you never were that kind

The Manly Heart
Shall I, wasting in despair,
Die because a woman's fair?
Or my cheeks make pale with care
'Cause another's rosy are?
Be she fairer than the day
Or the flowery meads in May --
If she be not so to me,
What care I how fair she be?
Shall my foolish heart be pined
'Cause I see a woman kind;
Or a well dispos-ed nature
Join-ed with a lovely feature?
Be she meeker, kinder, than
Turtle-dove or pelican,
If she be not so to me,
What care I how kind she be?
Shall a woman's virtues move
Me to perish for her love?
Or her merit's value known
Make me quite forget mine own?
Be she with that goodness blest
Which may gain her name of Best;
If she seem not such to me,
What care I how good she be?
'Cause her fortune seems too high,
Shall I play the fool and die?

I Have Praised Mother Nature
I have praised Mother Nature in ballad, song and rhyme
And writing on Mother Nature is never a waste of time
And though I am not a Burns, Francis Ledwidge or John Clare
I am one of the many about Nature who does care.
To write something on Nature is always satisfying
For Nature she has been around before creatures started flying
Her streams flow to her rivers her rivers to her oceans flow
And Nature will live forever though her Seasons will come and go.
I have praised mother Nature and her praises I'll always sing
The colours of her Seasons Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring
And though I truly love her little of her ways I know
I find her quite amazing and my wonder of her grow.
To my Goddess of Nature this rhyme I dedicate
I live in sheer awe of her of the beauty she create
She is the one immortal her beauty will live on
Long after the last human being to her reaper has gone.

Lovers Love
the sweet escape is evermore,
enreaching our body and mind.
to live, to love, to know, to care
lovers love- lovers love.
a kiss to the lips, a heart warming hug,
the sweet embrace of your warming space
to live, to love, to know, to care
lovers love-lovers love
to have, to hold, to love
lovers love- lovers love
dreaming is our minds
wanting is our minds,
we want a love,
so gentle yet so pure.
the only love we share together as one
here, now, forever.

The Maid of Toro
O, low shone the sun on the fair lake of Toro,
And weak were the whispers that waved the dark wood,
All as a fair maiden, bewilder'd in sorrow,
Sorely sigh'd to the breezes, and wept to the flood.
'O, saints! from the mansions of bliss lowly bending;
Now grant my petition, in anguish ascending,
My Henry restore, or let Eleanor die!'
All distant and faint were the sounds of the battle,
With the breezes they rise, with the breezes they fail,
Till the shout, and the groan, and the conflict's dread rattle,
And the chase's wild clamour, came loading the gale.
Breathless she gazed on the woodlands so dreary;
Slowly approaching a warrior was seen;
Life's ebbing tide mark'd his footsteps so weary,
Cleft was his helmet, and woe was his mien.
'O, save thee, fair maid, for our armies are flying!
O, save thee, fair maid, for thy guardian is low!
Deadly cold on yon heath thy brave Henry is lying,
Scarce could he falter the tidings of sorrow,
And scarce could she hear them, benumb'd with despair:
And when the sun sunk on the sweet lake of Toro,
For ever he set to the Brave and the Fair.

It Was an English Ladye Bright
It was an English ladye bright,
(The sun shines fair on Carlisle wall,)
And she would marry a Scottish knight,
For Love will still be lord of all.
Blithely they saw the rising sun
When he shone fair on Carlisle wall;
But they were sad ere day was done,
Though Love was still the lord of all.
Her sire gave brooch and jewel fine,
Where the sun shines fair on Carlisle wall;
Her brother gave but a flask of wine,
For ire that Love was lord of all.
For she had lands both meadow and lea,
Where the sun shines fair on Carlisle wall,
And he swore her death, ere he would see
A Scottish knight the lord of all.
That wine she had not tasted well
(The sun shines fair on Carlisle wall,)
When dead, in her true love's arms, she fell,
For Love was still the lord of all!
He pierced her brother to the heart,
Where the sun shines fair on Carlisle wall:--
So perish all would true love part
That Love may still be lord of all!
And then he took the cross divine,
Where the sun shines fair on Carlisle wall,
And died for her sake in Palestine;
So Love was still the lord of all.
Now all ye lovers, that faithful prove,
(The sun shines fair on Carlisle wall,)
Pray for their souls who died for love,
For Love shall still be lord of all!

Kiss Me Softly
Theres a state of grace that happens every day
Its a feeling I thought lost of locked away
Another question to an answer that I know
Oh, are you coming home, coming home for sure
Id walk a thousand miles, just to hear you calling out my name
Chorus:
Kiss me softly kiss me slowly
I get lost in you like only lovers do
Hold me closer love me tender
I get swept away like only lovers do
Youve awakened something deep inside my soul
And every moment, every breath I feel it more
Your hidden treasures that you keep down deep inside
We make love freely as we watch the new sunrise
Id live a thousand lives if every one I loved could be with you
Repeat chours
Id live a thousand lives
If every one I loved could be with you...
Repeat chorus 2x
Only lovers, only lovers, only lovers do
Only lovers, only lovers, only lovers do
Only lovers, only lovers, only lovers do
Only lovers, only lovers, only lovers do

Ah, Lover's goodbye!
Ah lover's goodbye!
How hard to discribe! .
With every separation the love vibrates in the memory of time
With them shivers lifeless tears of the hearts.
Oh shoreless hearts,
Your delights have taken flight
With them fled away youth's gently maden desires.
Your sweet kisses fled with pale constancy of love,
While the hands of lovers get apart
The angels of heaven begin to cry above
Moaing vainy dirges
Sweet memories soon turn onto frown fire flames
With every mention of past to burn up woeful lovers hearts

Love & Let Live
(alan oday)
Two lovers watch the news
Theyve got more than love to lose
As they lay there under cover
Do they really know each other
Theres a whisper in the air
Dont you feel a little scared
The stakes are too high
Some have even lost a friend
And were nowhere near the end
It doesnt help to moralize
The search is not the same now
Its more than just a game now
Love and let live
It can thrill you --fulfil you
But lately it can kill you
Love and let live
A little informations
Not too much to give
Weve got to tell lovers
How to love and let live
Do you think it over twice
At the edge of paradise
If youre not really sure
Use and ounce of prevention
cause theres still no cure
So you smile and say to me
Its not my responsibility
You better change your attitude
Did you ask your lover who
Who was there ahead of you
You need to know the truth
The search is not the same now
Its more than just a game now
Love and let live
It can thrill you --fulfil you
But lately it can kill you
Love and let live
A little informations
Not too much to give
Weve got to tell lovers
How to love and let live
I have found the one for me
We share our love exclusively
But were all affected
cause were all connected
Were a family
Love and let live
A little informations
Not too much to give
Weve got to tell lovers
Love and let live

Friends As Lovers, Lovers As Friends
new york wasn't mine
was it me, or just my kind
spinning softly, talking cheap
theres no place left to be
but a road that just goes on
to everyone leaving town
friends as lovers
lovers as friends
shall we dance into the night
as the jukebox moans and pours out time
friends and lovers
lovers and friends
theres no place left to be
than wrapped around your eyes
and every passing town
or stay as lovers
or stay as friends
theres no prayers
for dashboard light
flagging goals
you're missing sides
'cause they say you are the one
and theres no place left to be
than where you stand right now
i know these leaving town
us as lovers
lovers as friends
to your face
to speak alone
to your back
among the proud
we're friends with lovers
lovers with friends
and theres no place left to be
that can keep me away from you
on every passing train
i see lovers
i see friends
darling boy
youre on my mind, she says
i feel your skin
as if its mine
this pain it sweet
too sweet to touch
and theres no place left to be
in the shadow of your lives
in everyone leaving town
friends as lovers
lovers as friends
and theres no place left to be
than where you are right now
beside us leaving town
i'm your lover
i'm your friend

Disembarkment From The Nature
Love for the nature is always
there in my heart
I am as sensitive as
the nature
I love nature as love as
I love my mother
I am neither a tech savvy
nor development savvy
but I am nature lover at heart
I love shy butterflies
rivers without dams
i love sunsets and sun rises
which we can n't dreamt of
in our concrete jungles
With every new development make
us more insensitive, unkind
and arrogant to the nature
we always thought of above nature
we destroyed forests and building parks
we build the dams destroyed
the sanctity of rivers
we killed butterflies with pollution
and deforestation in the name of development
we lost ourselelves in
the cut throat competition
and globalization
It is not too late
let us start love the nature
let us not sacrifice the nature
on the altar of profits
if nature turns furious
it will wipe out human kind
(Dedicated to the nature lovers and who are in fighting for environment and human rights)
