SunSet
...And in the West the Sun 'tis ready...
The Occident has prepared its bed...
But O' such an awe-inspring splash of colors-
That surrounds its enormous orange head;
It simply just takes ones breath away-
Such a nearly most surreal sight...
Retiring in the West-'Tis simply the Best-
This amazing day time orb of great light;
The night time-it comes whispering...
The Occident has turned down its bed-
The Sun 'tis yawning and most ready...
To lay down its most sleepy head;

Sleepy Head
Terry widlake
Sleepy head isnt it time that you were in your bed?
The sandman will be coming soon, with a dream or two
Perhaps tomorrow they will all come true
Ooh sleepy head whispering all the things that we left unsaid
And so its time to make your weary way into a brand new day, tomorrow
The little pigs were certain that the wolf was here to stay
But in your dreams youll chase that wolf away
Hey sleepy head the princess has been saved and the dragons dead
Goodnight, and may God keep you in his sight
Safe until the early light, sleepy head, sleepy head, sleepy head.....

Are You Ready?
Are you ready?
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to climb another mountain
Are you ready?
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to swim across the ocean
Are you ready?
Be prepared
To fill you plate
Be prepared
Dont hesitate
Be prepared
For a great big bust
Be prepared
To do what you must
Be prepared
To take a hit
Be prepared
To go for it
Be prepared
For a sneak attack
Be prepared
Just dont look back
They say, where theres a will theres a way
Weve heard, these are the things that they say
So.
Reach out for that big fat star
Stick to the groove
And go real far
Outrun the ones who steal the abar (? ? )
Are you ready?
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to blast into the future
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to rearrange the picture
Are you ready?

Will I See You Again
In the dark
Im lying all alone
I just wonder where you are
But I know that you will come
That youll be there
Ive got to walk this lonesome road
To get this of my head
Ive got no time for the living dead
So, Im taking off for higher ground
To get you off my back
You know, you gotta cut me some slack
cause now Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
cause now Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
Will I see you again
I didnt have the chance to say, Im sorry
Will I see you again
This is more than I can take (from you)
A bottle of moonshine in the evening
And the daymare starts to fade
Now Ive got time for the weekend raid
Im on my own and I cant stay bored,
Ive passed that river long ago
Im not sure Im your friend or foe
cause now Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
cause now Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
Im ready to go, I cant be stopped
Will I see you again
I didnt have the chance to say, Im sorry
Will I see you again
This is more than I can take (from you)
Ive got to clear my head

West End Girls
(....forever)
Sometimes youre better off dead
Theres gun in your hand and its pointing at your head
You think youre mad, too unstable
Kicking in chairs and knocking down tables
In a restaurant in a west end town
Call the police, theres a madman around
Running down underground to a dive bar
In a west end town
In a west end town, a dead end world
The east end boys and west end girls
In a west end town, a dead end world
The east end boys and west end girls
West end girls
Too many shadows, whispering voices
Faces on posters, too many choices
If, when, why, what?
How much have you got?
Have you got it, do you get it, if so, how often?
And which do you choose, a hard or soft option?
(how much do you need? )
In a west end town, a dead end world
The east end boys and west end girls
In a west end town, a dead end world
The east end boys and west end girls
West end girls
West end girls
(how much do you need? )
In a west end town, a dead end world
The east end boys and west end girls
Oooh west end town, a dead end world
East end boys, west end girls
West end girls
Youve got a heart of glass or a heart of stone
Just you wait till I get you home
Weve got no future, weve got no past
Here today, built to last
In every city, in every nation
From lake geneva to the finland station
(how far have you been? )
In a west end town, a dead end world
The east end boys and west end girls
A west end town, a dead end world
East end boys, west end girls
West end girls
West end girls
West end girls
(how far have you been? )
Girls
East end boys
And west end girls
And west end girls
And west end girls
East end boys
The west end girls
The west end boys
And west end girls
The west end girls
The west end boys
The west end girls

Pulled from deep sleep
I was pulled from deep sleep,
Clock simply surged and made a beep,
Heavy but gentle push on my chest,
“Keep ready “we are going to west,
“What west” I exclaimed and posed question,
Why don’t you say who you are and purpose mention?
Heard harsh reply “We are here for further prevention”
You staying here is now out of question,
I could sense some big trouble,
Couldn’t answer or find the words probable,
They were armed with arms and ammunition
Ready to take in caged condition,
I now got little sense and projected,
Taking me by force idea rejected,
Oratory and ideas simply objected,
Unmoved by all, their views simply presented,
Here law of rule and land prevail,
No body simple come and rights curtail,
I may have sometime to prepare,
If you can see the reason and compare,
I have still unfinished job,
Many more cheatings and to rob,
It will be simply lost and gone,
All the year’s work may be undone,
Why you want to take me in early age?
Many things to be written on blank page,
I have yet to start the gambling den,
Money to be multiplied from one to ten,
“Get fast ready for further journey” blasted heavy man,
No amount of arguments or tricks play can,
You are taking heavenly journey,
Leave here all your wealth and money,
I just rubbed the eyes and pinched body,
Really it was I or somebody?
Was it not a horrible dream?
I was awakened by direct sun beam
May be it not a simple incidence?
Dreams was there is not coincidence,
It had some relevance in fact,
I could not keep my emotions intact

Are You Ready?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready to meet jesus?
Are you where you ought to be?
Will he know you when he sees you
Or will he say, depart from me?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready to lay down my life for the brethren
And to take up my cross?
Have I surrendered to the will of god
Or am I still acting like the boss?
Am I ready, hope Im ready.
When destruction cometh swiftly
And theres no time to say a fare-thee-well,
Have you decided whether you want to be
In heaven or in hell?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Have you got some unfinished business?
Is there something holding you back?
Are you thinking for yourself
Or are you following the pack?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Are you ready?
Are you ready for the judgment?
Are you ready for that terrible swift sword?
Are you ready for armageddon?
Are you ready for the day of the lord?
Are you ready, I hope youre ready.

Get Ready
I never met a girl
That makes me feel
The way that you do
(it's alright)
Whenever I'm asked
It makes me ugly as hell
To say that you do
(Its outta sight)
So fee fi, fo fum
Look out baby, cause here I come.
I'm giving you a love that's true
So get ready, get ready
Gonna try to make you love me too
So get ready, get ready, 'cause here I come
(Get ready, 'cause here I come)
I'm on my way
(Get ready, 'cause here I come)
If you wanna play hide and seek with love
Baby I do
(it's alright)
The lovin' you're gonna miss,
In the time it takes to find you
(it's outta sight)
So fiddley dee, fiddley dum
Look out baby, cause here I come.
I'm giving you a love that's true
So get ready, get ready
Gonna try to make you love me too
So get ready, get ready, 'cause here I come
(Get ready, 'cause here I come)
I'm on my way
(Get ready, 'cause here I come)
So what are my friends supposed to do
Understand it
(It's alright)
As long as I get to you before they do
The way I planned it
(It's outta sight)
So fiddley dee, fiddley dum
Look out baby, 'cause here I come
I'm giving you a love that's true
So get ready, get ready
I'm gonna try to make her love me too

Going Back West
I was born and raised in the ghetto
Talk with me and youll know
I wasnt satisfied, with living on the side
I started looking around, for a possibility
Listen to my story, of what became of me
I met a businessman
Who said he had some friends back east
So why dont you come along
Well we can help you at least
Well make you into a big star
By playing your guitar
But the joke was on me
They left me flat to see
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Struggling for recognition, identity and respect
I got a lot of promises
They told me not to fret
So we will stand by you
If the going gets rough
But when I started thinking
They didnt even bluff
bout a year has come and gone
And left me standing here
Thinking how it could have been
For still I aint nowhere
They surely took me for a ride
Trampled on my pride
But I hold my head up high
Got no more tears to cry
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night

Were Ready
Im ready for more
The feelin now that Im beside you
Well open the door
Do anything that we decide to
And I know that theres something thats just out of sight
And I feel like Im finally seeing the light
Holdin on girl I know its right
I know its right
Were ready!
You and i
Well find a reason
To simplify a change of season
And I feel like its time we were off on our way
We can go so much farther than weve come today
Holdin on girl and come what may
Come what may
Were ready! cmon
We can find a way
Were ready now
Catchin a wave to ride on
Steady now
Headin where we decide on
And I know that theres something thats just out of sight
And I feel like were trying to do something right
Come on make it if we hold on tight
Hold on tight
Were ready! cmon were ready
Were ready
Were ready, 1...2...3...4...
We can find a way. were ready now, oooh were ready now.
Were ready now.

Twilight
Twilight is the time
when the daylight
meets the night.
The hour when the sun
rests its head at sunset.
The time when lovers
come out to play,
taking walks down
leafy lover’s lanes
before the moon
wakes its sleepy head.
Twilight a time
near the end of the day

A Little Further North
This song appears on three albums, and was first released on the flower that shattered the stone album, and has also been released on the stonehaven sunrise and the john denver collection - caly
Lbums.
The sun sinks behind me in the west
This is the time of day I love best
Salt breezes murmur through the coconut palm
As the colors change, they set a scene of tropic calm
Seagulls headed back to land
Over the mangrove and the salt pan
By a lazy creek with a six pack and a fishin line
Win back some memories and losin track of time
I head a little further north each year
Leave the cities behind, out of sight out of mind
Up where my troubles can all disappear
I head a little further north each year
Feeling the night wrap around me
Eases my minds serenity
Ocean waves are hummin on the outer reef
These balmy days and sultry nights are a welcome relief
I head a little further north each year
Leave the cities behind, out of sight out of mind
Up where my troubles can all disappear
I head a little further north each year
I head a little further north each year
Leave the cities behind, out of sight out of mind
Up where my troubles can all disappear
I head a little further north each year
I head a little further north each year
Leave the cities behind, out of sight out of mind
Up where my troubles can all disappear
I head a little further north each year

Faith and Jesus
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready...
This time to make things right.
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready...
This time without a struggle.
Prepared to pick a fight!
Misgivings?
I had to leave.
Deceiving...
People,
Who left my heart to bleed!
Receiving?
More love to give!
Leaving behind me...
All the things negative!
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready...
This time without struggle or fight.
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready...
This time to make things right.
Receiving?
More love to give!
Leaving behind me...
All the things negative!
And believing,
I had to see!
I held misery inside,
That grieved and troubled me!
Yes...
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready...
This time to make things right.
Said...
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready...
This time without struggle!
Prepared to pick fight.
Misgivings?
I had to leave.
Deceiving...
People,
Who left my heart to bleed!
I'm living,
Stronger each day.
I've got what it takes..
To make sure what I've got,
Stays that way!
Hey...
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready,
This time to make things right.
I had to get myself ready,
This time to make things right!
Pettiness is fading steady...
With faith and Jesus on my side!
Jesus came back into my life.
But I had to get myself ready...
This time to make things right.
I had to get myself ready...
Without a struggle!
Or a search to fight.
This time I'm more than ready,
Knowing what it takes to feed...
My growing appetite!
'Don't lock it up...
Let it out and rock it!
Collect the good that's offered you,
And share it from your pocket! '

Heading West
I drop my hat
To a restless wind
This time I'm not gonna chase it again
In a jigsaw dream with soft spoken words
I woke up crying and no one heared
You're looking through me like I never was real
You say you love me but you won't let me feel
So I'm gonna take a chance this time
I'm gonna find myself a place where i can heal
And I'm heading west
Without a sad goodbye
And I'm heading west
I'm like a letter with no address
Just like a book i read
I'm heading west
I said my name
Under my breath
He turned me down a twisted road
I won't forget
I'm gonna fly my kite and let out all the string
Hold on to hope

Rip It Up/ready Teddy
Well, it's saturday night and i just got paid,
Fool about my money, don't try to save.
My heart says, "go! go! have a time!"
'cause it's saturday night and, baby, i feel fine.
Gonna rip it up,
Gonna rock it up,
Gonna shake it up,
Gonna ball it up,
Gonna rock it up,
And ball the night.
I got me a date and i won't be late,
Picked her up in my eighty-eight.
Shag on down to the union hall,
When the joint starts jumpin', i'll have a ball.
Gonna rip it up,
Gonna rock it up,
Gonna shake it up,
Gonna ball it up,
Gonna rock it up,
And ball the night.
Whoa!
Well, ready, set, go man, go,
I got a girl that i love so.
And i'm ready,
Ready, ready, ted,
I'm ready,
Ready, ready, ted,
I'm ready,
Ready, ready, ted,
I'm ready, ready, ted to rock and roll.
Goin' to the corner, pick up my sweetie pie,
She's a rock and roll baby, she's the apple of my eye.
I'm ready,
Ready, ready, ted,
I'm ready,
Ready, ready, ted,
I'm ready,
Ready, ready, ted,
I'm ready, ready, ted to rock and roll.

World In My Eyes
You're so gorgeous I'll do anything!
I'll kiss you from your feet
To where your head begins!
You're so perfect!
You're so right as rain!
You make me
Make me hungry again
Everything you do is irresistible
Everything you do is simply kissable
Why can't I be you?
I'll run around in circles
'Til I run out of breath
I'll eat you all up
Or I'll just hug you to death
You're so wonderful!
Too good to be true!
You make me
Make me hungry for you
Everything you do is simply delicate
Everything you do is quite angelicate
Why can't I be you?
You turn my head when you turn around
You turn the whole world upside down
I'm smitten I'm bitten I'm hooked I'm cooked
I'm stuck like glue!
You make me
Make me hungry for you
Everything you do is simply dreamy
Everything you do is quite delicious
Why can't I be you?
Why can't I be you?
Why can't I be you?
You're simply elegant!

Thompson
Honourable promises,
And of my lover on the west side of the Yardan;
To live beyond this river is all that i need;
And like the prophet and the prophetess.
I am in the entrance of the city of love and,
You are in the Valley of Yezreel;
But try to hold fast to Yahweh!
For His mercy and love endures forever.
There is a place near me called love,
And be ready for the night;
Because i want to take you there for the first time.
Present yourself to me and,
Chisel out two tablets of stone like the first one;
And let me touch your pleasant places of love,
For we will bath in this river.
Like the first time and,
Like the little owl and the desert owl;
For the secret love is now revealed and,
I am ready too with my red stew.
Your name is Thompson on the other side of the river,
And of a great thinker and a great lover;
But i will be skipping up with my lovely skirt towards you,
For you are like the bed that i do lie on always!
And this night will be a special night for us.
