Lap Of Luxury
This day i lounge in luxury-
As i pull stars from the sky...
Such amazing sparkling gemstones-
Rasie the passion in my green eyes;
I laze on cushions of white fluff...
From the clouds that dance over my head-
Comfort days-that truly amaze-
With down feathers for my bed;
O such grand luxury has blessed me...
Warmed in my cozy cottage of hay...
Splendour and tranquil moments-abound-
Colours of serenity are, indeed, mine this day;

Bloody Luxury
(coverdale)
Now when I first met you
I was rolling along,
Just a bar room crooner
Singing heartbreak songs,
An I supposed I could never get next to you
But, you seemed quite happy with my company
You kept my body heat steady at 103,
With your mouth full of gimme
An your body full of much obliged
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Youre a five star woman,
An you know what to give
To fill a part time loser
Full of reasons to live,
But, theres no doubt about it
Im taking a chance on you
Becos you get my heart beating heavy,
Make my knees go weak
You get me so damn nervous
I can hardly speak,
But, nothings gonna stop me
Hanging on my good luck charm
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...

Dipping Low
I went around the world till I found the right spot.
It was ultra sweet and just a little bit hot.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Now if you get down there you'll be doin' it right.
Yeah, once you got it you better hold on tight.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Now if you wanna break down I'll hold my head up high.
I'm a good mechanic, I'll go over you in style.
Dippin low in the lap of luxury.
Dippin low in the lap of luxury.

Y... Magical Moments of Amazing Beauty
Walking on the beach
Children seeking shells
Running around, having fun
Evening sun setting over the land
Shining a wonderful light on the breaking waves
The sky soft and blue
Tattered clouds above the sea
Taking on a breath-taking mixture of colours
Yellow orange in front, purple gray tales
Fluffy here and solid there
Living colours reflected
in the green of the deep sea
Part of me wanted to sing
But my mind ran out of words
Magical moments of amazing beauty
After 5 minutes it was gone
The dark clouds were dark again
The green sea had turned gray
The sky was still soft
I tried to close my eyes,
Focus on the sound of the waves
But the magic of the moment was gone
The colours had vanished
Leaving nothing behind but a memory
Nothing more than a memory
Nothing less than a memory
A memory to cherish
A memory of moments
Magical moments of amazing beauty
When will the next one come?

Lap Of Luxury
The money wont last forever ---
Rent man called twice today.
I hope some day youll find me
In the lap of luxury.
Searched for a new apartment
But they dont grow on trees.
Just want to lay my head
In the lap of luxury.
Stepped out on a new horizon ---
Felt a new spring in my feet.
Found a job, it could set me up
Dangling in the lap of luxury.
And the gaffer is a man of substance ---
Drives a jag and takes high tea.
Lives beyond the industrial wasteland,
Laughing in the lap of luxury.
I need money, now, to soothe my heart!
Buy me a datsun or toyota ---
Get the tax man to agree
All expenses I can muster
From the lap of luxury.

Political Economy
'I beg you to note,' said a Man to a Goose,
As he plucked from her bosom the plumage all loose,
'That pillows and cushions of feathers and beds
As warm as maids' hearts and as soft as their heads,
Increase of life's comforts the general sum
Which raises the standard of living.' 'Come, come,'
The Goose said, impatiently, 'tell me or cease,
How that is of any advantage to geese.'
'What, what!' said the man-'you are very obtuse!
Consumption no profit to those who produce?
No good to accrue to Supply from a grand
Progressive expansion, all round, of Demand?
Luxurious habits no benefit bring
To those who purvey the luxurious thing?
Consider, I pray you, my friend, how the growth
Of luxury promises-' 'Promises,' quoth
The sufferer, 'what?-to what course is it pledged
To pay me for being so often defledged?'
'Accustomed'-this notion the plucker expressed
As he ripped out a handful of down from her breast
'To one kind of luxury, people soon yearn
For others and ever for others in turn;
And the man who to-night on your feathers will rest,
His mutton or bacon or beef to digest,
His hunger to-morrow will wish to assuage
By dining on goose with a dressing of sage.'

The Luxury to apprehend
815
The Luxury to apprehend
The Luxury 'twould be
To look at Thee a single time
An Epicure of Me
In whatsoever Presence makes
Till for a further Food
I scarcely recollect to starve
So first am I supplied—
The Luxury to meditate
The Luxury it was
To banguet on thy Countenance
A Sumptuousness bestows
On plainer Days, whose Table far
As Certainty can see
Is laden with a single Crumb
The Consciousness of Thee.

Solace And Serenity
swimming around
two fish in a barrel
no one there to pull me out
they leave me to die
how could they know
whoever could know me
tied to your tales of woe
my tale to your stone
two angels hanging out upon the ceiling
watching all the stories we must tell
of solace and serenity
solace and serenity
a silence so sad
the water drains out
the oxygen is killing me
and all things i ever loved
lost a drop at a time
the lazy days drown
drift into a perfect sleep
baking in that mean old sun
i wish i could dance
to solace and serenity
solace and serenity
a silence so sad
solace and serenity
i just wanna dance
this might make you laugh
i don't mean to amuse you
but i just have a simple view
of where it went wrong
solace and serenity
solace and serenity
i just wanna dance

Three White Feathers
With the frivolity of butterflies
During the most fragile moments
Three White feathers
In as many weeks
Peacefully, angelically, inexplicably
Kissed the air, whilst landing for comfort
Upon your gentle lap
And you smiled so very
Beautifully, softly, hopefully
To tear at my innards, knowing
The
significance and comfort of...
.... Those Three White Feathers
Miss you x

Life Is A Luxury
Where have all those laughters gone?
Where is the splendour of the morn sun?
Where are those dreams we share?
Those blissful smiles are no longer here
Where is that little girl we call baby
Whose dream is to grow into a big lady?
Or can somebody tell me where to find
That jolly old fellow in the street behind
No one remembers those moments anymore
They are passing dreams, memories of days before
No more can we hear the beautiful canary's song
But voices in our hearts asking O! For how long
Life is a luxury, open your eyes to live
Or in your sleep, breath you no more recieve! !

Early Works - As We Dance On Silver Lined Clouds
The ivory towers stretch heaven ward
through plumes of fluffy clouds
these towering strongholds
grace our daydream moulds
that catch our fleeting moments
in a passing tranquil mood.
Gallant knights on white chargers
maiden in crook of their arm
ride into the sunset
again and again
as our storybook falls open
at some undeemed page.
Round in increasing circles
go the ripples on a pond
slowly to vanish at striking an edge.
Round in decreasing circles
go the stars in our eyes
as we dance on silver lined clouds.

You cannot spend money in luxury without doing good to the poor. Nay, you do more good to them by spending it in luxury, than by giving it; for by spending it in luxury, you make them exert industry, whereas by giving it, you keep them idle.

Of Luxury
Brush off the camps of luxury,
Brain after brain collapses with sites;
My boys are like cherries of this century,
With acting and glory as the effect of gladness.
This beggar chooses brotherhood to be the best,
The luxury came and went when elbows went,
The beads of bathing and swimming were lost,
Just then the boots concaved, with lenses of eyes.
The beef is eaten at the cow’s desk,
Bread shall be dirt as the dirt beams on the boots,
With luxury in store, and with cracking of bones,
Just then the beasts of battling converge.

Damage
Images of you dance within the synapses of my mind,
Your sparkling green eyes and crimson red lips,
There was an unseen energy that flowed freely between us,
You made my heart dance and my soul sing your name,
When we kissed it was like floating upon angels wings,
Lost in the utter serenity of loves warming embrace,
We were oblivious to the cracks that were forming,
You held in the palm of your hands the very essence of me,
And in but mere moments, you crushed me with your betrayal,
How could you lay with another when I would die for you?
Your actions have killed off a tiny part of my soul,
Yet still I crave you more than the air I breathe,
How many times shall I allow you to inflict such damage? ...
Spread the love The peace will follow...

Affordability
There are times when honesty is a luxury.
Like any luxury it always remains
a question of affordability
