The Gifts That Say I Love You (price-drop.tv)

As long as love exists on Earth
And stars in Heaven shine,
As long as love can prove its worth
And there's a Valentine,
As long as there's a single prayer
And rainbows in the sky,
I'll honour her, my lady fair,
With jewels that I'll buy.
I'll cherish her, my whole life through,
With golden gifts each year,
Adorned with gemstones red and blue
And diamonds crystal clear.
They'll never match her sparkling eyes
Or pearly teeth so white
And yet in all, they're my best buys,
To bring her such delight.
Thank God that craftsmen fashion rings
Exquisite as can be
Such that they're fit for queens and kings

One Year In Heaven

One year in heaven,
One year you've been there,
So far away,
Someday I'll see you in the air,
One year in heaven,
I miss you so much,
Smile down upon me,
And show me your love.

One year in heaven,
It seems like so long,
Since the last time I saw you,
And then you were gone,
One year in heaven,
You left earth to soon,
But I know they need you,
More then I do,

One year in heaven,
I'm alone on the earth,
I miss your sweet kisses,
And all that you're worth,
One year in heaven,
Is God really there?
Why did he take you,
As I cried in despair.

One year in heaven,
I still see your face,
The day that you took,
The last breath you would take,
One year in heaven,
Why did you die,
I know God needed you,
But still I cry.

One year in heaven,
Soon I'll be there,
So wait by the gate,
Please, this do swear,
One year in heaven,
To me it is long,
But you have no pain,
From this earth you have gone.

One year in heaven,
It's so hard to move on,
I'll send you a prayer,
And sing you a song,
One year in heaven,
Life's not the same,
Since you left this world,
I'm living in a daze.

One year in heaven,
You watch from above,
Sit there and smile,
And send me your love,
One year in heaven,
You may think it's just a day,
But this world is so different,
Since God took you away

Prove Your Love!

The rarest gemstones found on Earth
Are treasured everywhere!
As if they symbolise the worth
Of sweethearts that we share!
She may be special, just to you...
The apple of your eye!
Who brings you joys forever new,
Each year, as time goes by...
What is her ring size? Do you know?
Does she like diamond rings?
Is she excited by their glow
Or long for other things?
Does she like necklaces of pearls?
Or rubies, garnets, quartz?
Maybe she's not like choosy girls,
But merely likes all sorts!
She may have handbags by the score
And shoes you've never seen,
Yet may like sapphires even more
And emeralds ever green.
But most of all, it warms her heart,
To look her best for you!
But first, it helps to do your part,
To prove you love her, too!
Some wise guys know what women want!
Romantic gifts with style!
Presented in a restaurant
With love to make them smile...
So prove your love each day, each week,
Each month and year-by-year!
She's good as gold! She's quite unique!
Tell her, 'I LOVE YOU, DEAR! '

I Love You Dearly

As long as there are waterfalls
And rainbows in the sky,
As long as I can hear bird calls
And see the birds that fly,
As long as there are stars that shine
In Heaven up above,
Know this, I love you dearly,
Because you are my love...

As long as there are butterflies
And flocks of sheep at peace,
As long as there are family ties
And friendships meant to please,
As long as there are challenges
And courage makes us tough,
Know this, I love you dearly,
Because you are my love...

As long as there are children's smiles
As they cast off their cares,
As long as there are tests and trials
And Jesus hears my prayers,
As long as faith helps me survive
To prove God's grace enough,
Know this, I love you dearly,
Because you are my love...

Just A Little Love

When I think that you got everything that you need,
you only ask for more.
You got dresses from Paris and a Jaguar car,
Nasty habits that no sheik could afford.
Easy money and what it buys.
is the loneliest kind of high.
If you ever just give it a try,
Just a little love (just a little love)
Goes a long way.
A little love goes a long, long way.
Just a little love (just a little love)
Just a little love
A little love goes a long, long, long, long way.
You bought a high-dollar house in the Hollywood hills,
the zip code of the stars.
Into nouvelle cuisine, candy keeps you lean.
The doctor takes your credit card.
In the emptiness of the night, when you never feel satisfied.
And you're missin' what could make it right.
Just a little love (just a little love)
Goes a long way.
A little love goes a long, long way.
Just a little love (just a little love)
Just a little love
A little love goes a long, long, long, long way.
Oh yeah.
Aren't you carryin' cash just a little too far?
What happens when it's gone?
Every pleasure gets old, like a river runs dry.
The things that last come down to one.
Just a little love, goes a long way.
A little love goes a long, long way.
Just a little love, just a little love,
A little love goes a long, long, long, long way.
Just a little love, goes a long way.
A little love goes a long, long way.
Just a little love, a little love,
A little love goes a long, long, long, long way.

Crystal Charisma

As clear as crystal necklaces
Worn by celebrities
And snowflakes as each passes
Upon a wistful breeze,
Or spiders' webs with morning dew,
So gossamer, so fine,
Transparent is my love for you,
My sweetheart Valentine...

As clear as crystal solitaires
That grace 9-carat rings
And icicles mid Winter's airs
As each new Christmas brings,
Or skating rinks spread out for all
To while away an hour,
Your eyes to me send out their call
With such hypnotic power...

As clear as crystal stars at night
That twinkle 'gainst the sky,
As if to shine with all their might
Intent to mystify...
I look at you and feel the thrill
Of love reborn, 'Hooray! '
Yet wonder if I ever will
Declare that love someday...

As clear as crystal would life be
If you said, 'I love you! '
Then all my doubts would surely flee,
For what else could they do?
As clear as crystal is my love,
Alas, I'm oh so shy...
Till God grants courage from above,
All I can do is... sigh...

Long Haired Lady

Well, well, well, well, well,
Do you love me like you know you ought to do?
Well, well, well, well, well,
Or is this the only thing you want me for?
Well, Ive been meaning to talk to you about it for sometime,
Sweet little lass, you are my long haired lady.
Whos the lady that makes that brief occasional laughter?
Shes the lady we wears those flashing eyes.
Wholl be taking her ome when all the dancing is over?
Im the lucky man she will hypnotize.
Long haired lady. long haired lady.
Ah, love is long, love is long, love is long.
Ah, when youre wrong, love is long, love is long.
Well, well, well, well, well,
Do you love me like you know you ought to do?
Well, well, well, well, well,
Or is this the only thing you want me for?
Well, Ive been meaning to talk to you about it for sometime,
Sweet little lass, you are my long haired lady.
Bells are buzzing about my sweet delectable baby,
Birds are humming about their big surprise.
Whos your favorite person, dear phenomenal lady?
I belong to the girl with flashing eye.
Long haired lady. long haired lady.
Ah, sing your song, love is long, love is long.

At Valentine, Forever and Even After Now

My love, my life; my wife, my dear valentine
I feel my heartbeat as I write you this lines
My stars above, my blue skies, my valentine
My soul is merged in yours knowing you're mine
At Valentine, forever and even after now

Let's hold on tight, strongly to the night
And make it stay forever with all our might
For Valentine comes again but after a long while
So as I drive home tonight through the miles
The thoughts of you'll fill my heart somehow

My love, my life; my wife, my dear valentine
As long as there's moonlight and the sunshine
We'll always be not only on the fourteenth of February
'Cos your beautiful face reminiscent of a lovely memory
Wins my love at Valentine, forever and even after now

Two Lovely Valentine Hearts

The touching of two lovely valentine hearts,
Blessing our days and warming our nights,
Filling our hearts and blending our souls,
With everlasting happiness, love and laughter. The touching of two lovely valentine hearts,
Love and beauty of the Aphrodite Goddess,
Wisdom and artistry of the Athena Goddess,
Corolla and whirls of the Azalea Goddess. The touching of two lovely valentine hearts,
Beautiful blue eyes of rainbow arc of hue,
Feeling the strength of permeate air breathed,
Gleam in the smile of the pearly white teeth. The touching of two lovely valentine hearts,
Creating rainbows for few precious moments,
The music from cabin sounds very grand,
and miracles created our most heavenly magic. The touching of two lovely valentine hearts,
Cannot escape the rapture that's captured.
The loving friendship that remained strong,
With essence of beauty lighting our life. May this poem instill the love and romantical existence and joy of
our life which is the birthright of all.
The very essence of being.
Love, love!

Immortal Love

When you lie beside me
Naked and Bare -
With the warmth of my caresses
Touching you everywhere...
You'll feel the power of my
Passionate Love -
Melting away the icy coldness
In your Persona -
Igniting the effervescent Flame
Of eternal love and endless passion
Those raw desires of human emotion.

Like the beautiful, bright candles of Diwali
And the lovely, fragrant roses of Valentine
Our love will sparkle and shine forever...
With the misty fragrance of togetherness
Like the lingering aroma of scented candles
Which permeates the air and hangs on there...
Long after the candles have flickered out.

So may our love be eternal and effervescent
Like the fragrant roses of Valentine
And the sparkling candles of Diwali.

For no matter -
How many roses wither out,
How many candles blow out,
There is always the Valentine's Day
And the Festival Diwali to celebrate.
Every year, on a special day
With more new roses,
And more lovely candles.

So the essence lives on...
And the celebration too
Just like we celebrate Love
With all its highs and lows
Loving ourselves...
And loving the you in me
And the me in you.

Even if our life fizzles out -
Like the withering roses
And the melting candles
Beyond life unto death,
Beyond death, into after-life...
Our love takes us on, and lives on
Long after we are dead and gone.

And the memories and the remnants
Remain on this Blessed Earth -
The fragments of our love and pain
Inspiring others to carry on
living and loving each other,
Whatever be the weather...
Be it the warm sunshine
Or the stormy rain.

Those memories, those remnants -
In our letters, words and poems
For others to read, relish and cherish
And bless our souls...
May be, with their wishes and prayers,
We might become 'one' in heaven
After shedding our dualities
On this mortal earth -
When our breathing bodies, die and perish.

A Sweetheart's Holiday

There'll always be a Valentine's Day
On the fourteenth of February of every year,
A day of festival romance and affection
And a Holiday for a sweetheart lovely and dear.

Special greeting cards are distributed
To friends and a sweetheart to keep in line.
Verses are embossed with tender thoughts,
But almost all say, ' Be My Valentine. '

The cards are adorned with satin, red ribbon
And white lace trimmings setting them apart
With a colorful and an attractive Valentine scene,
Or a cupid whose arrows pierce a heart.

Girls receive gifts of flowers or jewelry,
A large box of candy shaped like a heart,
Attending Valentine's Day dances and parties
With their favorite Valentine doing their part.

There'll always be a Valentine's Day
When the words of engagement are in the air,
And a sparkling diamond ring is placed on a finger -
A dream comes true - thanks for prayer.

-words and music by hal hester and barry parker
If I find peace of mind in the sand and the sea
Theres a hope in my heart that youll soon be with me
Theres a prayer that I share with the sand and the sea
And it cries come to me, come to me.
As my eyes search the skies from the edge of the shore
You are here in my arms for a moment or more
Then a tear rushes down to the sand and the sea
And it cries come to me, come to me.
But as long as theres sand, as long as theres sea
As long as theres time Ill wait hopefully
As long as theres heaven up above
Let the sand and the sea bring my love to me
But as long as theres sand, as long as theres sea

The Lady, the Knight, and the Friar

THE LADY.

O cavalier! what dost thou here,
Thy tuneful vigils keeping;
While the northern star looks cold from far
And half the world is sleeping?

THE KNIGHT.

O lady! here, for seven long year,
Have I been nightly sighing,
Without the hope of a single tear
To pity me were I dying.

THE LADY.

Should I take thee to have and to hold,
Who hast nor lands nor money?
Alas! 'tis only in flowers of gold
That married bees flnd honey.

THE KNIGHT.

O lady fair! to my constant prayer
Fate proves at last propitious;
And bags of gold in my hand I bear,
And parchment scrolls delicious.

THE LADY.

My maid the door shall open throw,
For we too long have tarried:
The friar keeps watch in the cellar below,
And we will at once be married.

THE FRIAR.

My children! great is Fortune's power;
And plain this truth appears,
That gold thrives more in a single hour,
Than love in seven long years.

Lady '95

Lady,
When you're with me I'm smiling
Give me all of your love
Your hands
Build me up when I'm sinking
Just touch me
And my troubles all fade
Lady,
From the moment I saw you
Standing all alone
You gave
All the love that I needed
So shy
Like a child who had grown
You're my Lady of the Morning
Love shines in your eyes
Sparkling, clear, and loving
You're my Lady
Lady,
Turn me on when I'm lonely
Show me
All of your charms
Evenings
When you lay down beside me
Just take me gently into your arms
You're my Lady of the Morning
Love shines in your eyes
Sparkling, clear, and loving
You're my Lady
Lady of the Morning
Love shines in your eyes
Sparkling, clear, and loving
You're my Lady

Homage

Not once since Man's Creation have been seen
so many talents fused in one fair Queen;
and had Troy's 'thousand ships’ been launched today,
homage throughout eternity they’d pay.

Here sweetness, learning, comfort calm serene,
spread happiness where'er she shares fair beam.
To honour her I would, and many may,
the chronicles of chivalry defray.

On all Earth’s empires she should reign supreme.
Compared with her, bare beauty's blossoms seem,
pale phantom shadows mocking golden gleam -
no verse could dwell too long upon this theme.

Gold tresses halo soft stars set in cream,
blue sapphires, sparkling, scintillating dream.
The world’s ambition, no-one may gainsay,
would be to honour, cherish her, obey.

Where others, with swift superficial sheen,
across our senses flicker, sink unseen;
her peerless charms so far outshine the day
that envy through eternity they’ll sway...

My Sweet Valentine Acrostic

M y lady Valentine is my loved one
in my heart she marked as only one.
letting the time consumes our youth
in the end my love still holds the oath.
zest fills up the moments that we care
as sweet Valentine always there to share.

Part of my heart and soul is my Valentine
i can not thrive this life if she gets off line.
zenith where my dream for my sweet Valentine
a love we both cherish and savor for all time.
real are the laughter my loved one has shown
real as the tears I wiped dry which flood her eyes;
oh sweet Valentine how lucky I am to possessed you.

Bright are my hopes for my lady Valentine
reaching for the stars she shall be forever mine.
a promise to love her amidst all life's turmoil
to protect, care for her welfare and not spoil.
oh sweet Valentine how happy I am to love you.

The Ballad Of The White Lady

SIR GEOFFREY met the white lady
Upon his marriage morn,
Her eyes were blue as cornflowers are,
Her hair was gold like corn.

Sir Geoffrey gave the white lady
A posy of roses seven,
'You are the fairest May,' said he,
'That ever strayed from Heaven.'

Sir Geoffrey by the white lady
Was lured away to shame,
For seven long years of prayers and tears
No tidings of him came.

Then she who should have been his bride
A mighty oath she swore,
'For seven long years I have wept and prayed,
Now I will pray no more.

'Since God and all the saints of Heaven
Bring not my lord to me,
I will go down myself to hell
And bring him back,' said she.

She crept to the white lady's bower,
The taper's flame was dim,
And there Sir Geoffrey lay asleep,
And the white witch sat by him.

Her arm was laid across his neck,
Her gold hair on his face,
And there was silence in the room
As in a burial-place.

And there were gems and carven cups,
And 'broidered bridal gear--
'Whose bridal is this?' the lady said,
'And what knight have ye here?'

'The good knight here ye know full well,
He was your lord, I trow,
But I have taken him from your side,
And I am his lady now.

'This seven year with right good cheer
We twain our bridal keep,
So take for your mate another knight
And let my dear lord sleep.'

Then up and spake Sir Geoffrey's bride,
'What bridal cheer is this?
I would think scorn to have the lips
Who could not have the kiss!

'I would think scorn to take the half
Who could not have the whole;
I would think scorn to steal the body
Who could not take the soul!

'For, though ye hold his body fast
This seven weary year,
His soul walks ever at my side
And whispers in my ear.

'I would think scorn to hold in sleep
What, if it waked, would flee,
So let his body join his soul
And both fare forth with me;

'For I have learned a spell more strong
Than yours that laid him low,
And I will speak it for his sake
Because I love him so!'

The white lady threw back her hair,
Her eyes began to shine--
'His soul is thine these seven years?--
To-night it shall be mine!

'I have been brave to hold him here
While seven long years befell,
Rather than let a bridal be
Whose seed should flower in hell.

'I have not looked into his eyes
Nor joined my lips to his,
For fear his soul should spring to flame
And shrivel at my kiss.

'I have been brave to watch his sleep
While the long hours come and go,
To hold the body without the soul,
Because I love him so.

'But since his soul this seven year
Has sat by thee,' she said,
'His body and soul to-night shall lie
Upon my golden bed.

'Thou hast no need to speak the spell
That thou hast learned,' said she,
'For I will wake him from his sleep
And take his soul from thee.'

She stooped above him where he lay,
She laid her lips on his;
He stirred, he spake: 'These seven long years
I have waited for thy kiss.

'My soul has hung upon thy lips
And trembled at thy breath,
Thou hast given me life in a cup to drink,
As God will give me death.

'Why didst thou fear to kill my soul
Which only lives for thee?
Thou hast put seven wasted years,
O love, 'twixt thee and me.'

When Heaven And Earth

when heaven and earth i can no longer see
my GOD will be in front of me.

and when my GOD says it's time to die
i know that he'll be by my side.

and when the sun ceases to shine
i know that i will feel his love divine.

and when this earth no longer exists
i will feel his heavenly bliss.

heaven from earth is just a step away
either we do it right
or we come back to pay.

they say that heaven is here on earth.
and mankind takes it for all its worth.

it was heaven during ADAM and EVE
but they decided on the apple to feed.

now it's where you prove your worth
from the beginning of your birth.

so heed the words that i say
follow the LORD, for there is no better way.

October in New Zealand

O JUNE has her diamonds, her diamonds of sheen,
Meet for a queen’s neck, if Death had e’er a queen!
June has her blue days, jewels of delight,
Set in the ivory of Alp-land white,—
But October, October’s the lady o’ the year!

O January’s garland is redder than the rose,
And the wine-red ruby of January glows
All the way to madness and half the way to sin,
When sleep is in the poppy and fire is in the whin!
But October, October’s the lady o’ the year!

October will ride in a mantle o’ the vair,
With the flower o’ the quince in her dew-wet hair;
October will ride to the gates of the day,
With the bluebells ringing on her maiden way;—
For October, October’s the lady o’ the year!
