Fable Or FairyTale?
It t'was the first day of make believe-
A day when stories and plans were made...
Character actors were auditioned and hired-
And in the days ahead put on parade;
It was the second day of make believe-
The sun was buried in a purple haze...
The Big Apple Trees were growing lemons...
And the blackest nights replaced sunniest days;
Spring t'was more as the Fall...
And Summer t'was clad in snow...
Leading us into the third day of make believe-
Where the moon had all but lost its glow;
The majestic mountains had grown to be more like valleys...
While the lakes were more liked dried solid ground...
Devoid of any water whatsover...
And the birds had lost their most melodic sound;
It t'was the fourth day of make believe-
And our world no longer revolved...
It became totally still under someones will...
An enigma that the actors could not solve;
Today all the make-believe has passed away...
Along with the greed-filled conspirators of yore...
Dressed in all black-are the vile demons that attacked-
Who are in mourning for their material world evermore;

Just Want You To Know
Looking at your picture
From when we first met
You gave me a smile
That I could never forget
And nothing I could do
Could protect me from you that night
Wrapped around your finger
Always in my mind
The days wed plan cause we stayed up all night
Yeah, you and I were everything were everything
Everything to me
I just want you to know
That Ive been fighting to let you go
Some days I make it through
And then theres nights that never end
I wish that I could believe
That theres a day youll come back to me
But still I have to say
I would do it all again
I just want you to know
All the doors are closing
Im trying to move ahead
And deep inside I wish it was me instead
My dreams are empty
From the day
The day you slipped away
And I just want you to know
That Ive been fighting to let you go
Some days I make it through
And then theres nights that never end
I wish that I could believe
That theres a day youll come back to me
But still I have to say (yeah)
I would do it all again
I just want you to know
That since I lost you, I lost myself (no)
No, I cant fake it, theres no one else
I just want you to know
That Ive been fighting to let you go
Some days I make it through
And then theres nights that never end
I wish that I could believe
That theres a day youll come back to me
But still I have to say (I have to say)
I would do it all again
I just want you to know
I just want you to know
That Ive been fighting to let you go
Some days I make it through
(And then theres) And then theres nights that never end
I wish that I could believe (yeah)

We Can Make It
I would do anything, anything a man can do
Youre my strength and weakness
I give it all for you
I would climb any mountain
How can I make you see?
Though the stars may fall, it will always be you and me
The light in your eyes is all the hope I need
Theres so much you can give
Your smile is my reason to live
Just take my hand, well make a stand
I know that we can make it
(hey) its you and me. the world will see
I know that we can make it, you and me
I see you, full of sadness
Wondering bout this world weve made
Theres a space between us all
Love has seen some better days
Oh we can make it
Oh we can make it
The love in your eyes is all I need to know
Im never letting go
Im here for you heart and soul
Just take my hand, well make a stand
I know that we can make it
(hey) its you and me, the world will see
I know that we can make it
I know that we can make it (hey, yeah)
Just take my hand, well make a stand
I know that we can make it
(hey) its you and me. the world will see
I know that we can make it
I know that we can make it
You and me

Lost in nature
Today
I'm sitting here in the Nature
and i'm
lost in its beauty
and in its silence
and in the serenity
and in its simplicity.
.
I'm
lost in the winter chilling breeze
lost in its swiftness
.
lost in the twirling mountains
lost in its unimaginable heights
.
lost in the blue oceans
lost in its fatal depth
.
lost in the moving birds
lost in the freedom they share
.
lost in the drowning fishes
lost in their unique quality of surviving underwater
.
lost in the blessed trees
lost in their old ages
.
lost in the serenity
lost in the search of my lord my saviour.
.
I don't know which way i'm going and where will it lead
but the way which goes through nature will definitely not make me bleed
i'm lost and i want to be lost in nature
cause its leading to
'THE INNER ME'.

Lemon Parade
I wish I'd seen you as a little girl
Without your armor to fend off the world
I would have kept you underneath my wing
I would protect you from everything
Make way for the lemon parade
Make way for my girl
Make way for the lemon parade
Make way for my girl
Did the boys all tease you when they had
the chance
Always left standing when it came time
to dance
Did you hide behind your books girl
Did you find your secret friends
Always I'll want you
Always 'till the end
Make way for the lemon parade
Make way for my girl
Make way for the lemon parade
Make way for my girl

If Purple Could Heal You
If Purple Could Heal You
By Tameka Callaway
One day, you told me that Purple is your favorite color.
I wish that purple can heal you
If purple could heal you, I would give purple flowers everyday
in a purple vase that will make your day
I would wear purple lip stick so I come leave kisses on you face
Wish there was purple days and purple nights
If only purple could heal you, I will give a purple glass of purple kool aid with purple ice so you would have a purple tong
I would go to the end of the world to find you the perfect purple yarn so I could make you a purple body suit from head to toe
Oh how I would give you a purple world
But for now, I just give you a purple poem
I love you

You Cant Make Love
You can make money, you can make good
Friends
You can make mistakes and you can make
Amends
You can make it easy when push comes to
Shove, but-
You cant make love
You can make advances, you can make
Big plans
Plant sloppy kisses all over her hands
You can tell her everything youre dreamin
Of, but-
You cant make love
Loves a little word that been kicked around
Used too much, beaten down
What in the world are you thinkin of?
You cant make love
You can go through the motions with your
Magic spells
Buy all the potions that fifth avenue sells
You can try to call down all the stars above,
But-
You cant make love
You can buy her diamonds, you can go out in style
You can make a promise, you can walk
Down the aisle
You can make a life for her that fits like
A glove, but-
You can t make love
Oh, it takes so long
You gotta be strong
Before its gone
What in the world where you thinkin of,
Boy-
You cant make love

The Company Man
(magne furuholmen / paul waaktaar)
Andy was the company man
Responsible for signing the band
Songs came out of our mouths
And into his hands
Oh yeah
Legal help, yes we had plenty
Bank-accounts are easy to empty
Everybodys trying to help
Everyone is so friendly
Oh yeah
And we all come down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Yes we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Give us something easy to sing to
Give us something simple to cling to
Something we can all understand
Said the company man
Oh yeah
We sing
And we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Yes we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Yes we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
May we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground

The Oven Bird
There is a singer eveyone has heard,
Loud, a mid-summer and a mid-wood bird,
Who makes the solid tree trunks sound again.
He says that leaves are old and that for flowers
Mid-summer is to spring as one to ten.
He says the early petal-fall is past,
When pear and cherry bloom went down in showers
On sunny days a moment overcast;
And comes that other fall we name the fall.
He says the highway dust is over all.
The bird would cease and be as other birds
But that he knows in singing not to sing.
The question that he frames in all but words
Is what to make of a diminished thing.

Good Ole Days
I work my job all the way to the weekend
Call all my buddies, ask where you been
Let's get together somewhere, seven o'clock
Wanna pop a top, pop a top
Wann go, wanna roll, wanna rock it
Hey, hey let's make some good ole days
Hey, hey let's make some good ole days
That's right,
Let's make some good ole days tonight
Hey, baby, what's the chance you dancing with me?
Been watching you all night
Like what I see
That big old moon is shining down from above
You know it's stirring up magic stuff
This could be the night we fall in love
Chorus
Ice cold, wild free
Night's young for you and me
Let's do something that we'd never dare
Something we'll be talking about in our rockin chair
Hey, hey let's make some good ole days
Hey, hey let's make some good ole days

In This Diary
Here in this diary, i wright you visions on my summer
It was the best i ever had
There were chorus' and sing-alongs
A night of unspoken feelings
I know that right now its all that matters
All thoes nights we stayed up talking
Listening to 80s songs
Quoting lines from all thoes miveis that we love
It still brings a smile to my face
I guess when it comes down to it..
Being grown-up isn't half as fun as growing up
These are the best days of our lives
The only thing that matters is just following your heart
And eventually you'll finally get it right
Breaking into hotel swimming pools
And reaking havoc on our world
Hanging out at truck stops just to pass the time
The black top singing me too sleep
Lighting fireworks in parking lots
Illuminate the blackest nights
Cherry Cokes under this moonlit summer sky
2015 Riverside it's time to say "goodbye"
Get on the bus... it's time to go
Being grown-up isn't half as fun as growing up
These are the best days of our lives
The only thing that matters is just following your heart
And eventually you'll finally get it right
Get it right
Being grown-up isn't half as fun as growing up
These are the best days of our lives
The only thing that matters is just following your heart
And eventually you'll finally get it right
Get it right
Get it right
Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up:
These are the best days of our lives.
The only thing that matters
Is just following your heart,
And eventually you'll finally get it right.

Only A Limited Time
So 5 days of silence
5 days to compile
5 days to realize
This inner peace will take awhile.
Consumed by brother's weakness
Enraged by father's hate
Only now I've had 5 days
To sit and contemplate.
Showing people sides of me
That they have never seen
Giving out pamphlets
Trying to chart what all this means.
So 5 days to find an angel.
One I thought was lost.
Five days to reconnect
With time that exceeds
All past times lost.
Now I'm regaining energy
It is so hard to behave.
I'm ready to move on to
Passions.
It is real feelings that I crave.
I want to feel beauty
Happiness
Some release.
I say the feeling surpasses
Comfort and soars right on to peace.
5 days to make sure
Heart has to relate straight to mind.
5 days to realize that you
Really want only one flows free kind.
5 days it has been
To get back to ground.
To make sure that
I would not miss out
On this new flow that I have found.
5 days contain so much
5 days that seem so gone
5 days to become lost
5 days to carry on.

Lost April
(newman/spencer/delange)
Lost april,
Where did you go?
Like winter's snow,
I saw you vanish.
Lost april,
So soft and warm.
A memory
Not even time can banish.
Lost april,
That taught me this.
A single kiss
Could lead to heaven.
But april had numbered days,
So when they passed,
Love couldn't last.
I lost love and you,
And april, too.
~interlude~
So when they passed,
Love couldn't last.
I lost love and you,
And april, too.

Today My World Slipped Away
We made it final today
I gave you all I had, you made your get away
All the love we once made
Turned to memories today
I left the courtroom
And went straight to the church
I hit my knees and told God how much I hurt
Theres nothing left of my heart
Its going to be so hard to make a new start
(chorus)
Cause today my world slipped away
We buried the plans that we made
And tonight Im alone and afraid
Cause today my world slipped away
All my friends say Ill make it alright
Ill recover and start a new life
But thatll be so hard to do
Cause livin aint worth livin without you
(repeat chorus)
Cause today my world slipped away

Birds To Fly
A day,
a love,
a smile,
a wink.
You make me smile,
you make me cry,
you make me laugh,
you make me get by.
I feel love at the sight,
I get lost in those eyes,
I feel pain knowing there's no 'we, '
I get lost by your words of love.
You make my day,
you always have,
you make my tears,
you make them hurt.
I love the way you smile,
I love the way you laugh,
I love the way you look at me,
I love the way you act.
You're like the stars in the sky's,
You're like the reflection on the water,
You're like the wings for birds to fly,
You're like the rays from the sun.

You Gotta Make It Through The World
Well let them take you for a clown
And theyre bound to bring you down
You got to make it through the world if you can
Think theyre doing you wrong
But you got here on your own
You got to make it through the world if you can
I said if you can, if you can
You got to make it through the world if you can
I said if you can (oooh), if you can (lord)
You got to make it through the world if you can
Well you know what its all about
Nobody know you when youre down and out
You got to make it through the world if you can
Well talk about wrong and right
Youve got to make up your own mind
You got to make it through the world if you can
I said if you can (if you can) ooh, if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
I said if you can (if you can) well if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Yeah let them take you for a clown
It will surely put you down
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Everybody talk about wrong and right
You got to make up your own mind about it
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Ooh! if you can (if you can) yeah! if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Yeah! if you can (if you can) if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Yeah I said if you can (if you can) lord if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
I said you got to make through the world if you can (if you can)
I said you got to make through the world if you can (if you can)
I said you got to make through the world if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Make it through the world
Make it through the world (if you can)
Make it through the world
Make it through the world (if you can)

April Is In The World Again
April is in the world again,
And all the world is filled with flowers-
Flowers for others, not for me!
For my one flower I cannot see,
Lost in the April showers.
I cannot wake her, though I sing,
And all the birds, for her dear sake,
Fill with their songs the wintry brake;
Ah! could they make her rise again,
What resurrection would be mine!
Is she too tired to help the sun
And all the little stars to shine?

Slow Summer Dancin'
I'll set the stage while she's still dancing
I'll make the music soft and slow
Then i'll turn down the lights
Make things just right
For every slow song that we know
Over and over again
One summer night
(do do do)
We fell in love
One summer night
I held you tight
(one summer, one summer)
You and i
(one summer, one summer)
Under the moon for love
(ooo one summer, one summer)
We'll spin around this room together
I'll treat my angel really nice
We'll fall in love, we'll fall forever
Thank god for lazy summer nights
Over and over again
One summer night
(do do do)
(one summer, one summer)
I kissed your lips
(one summer, one summer)
One summer night
(one summer, one summer)
I held you close
