A Date With QuickSilver? ? ? ? ?
Mercury 'tis the messenger of the Roman Gods...
It 'tis also an Angel without any wings-
It can and does fill the air with its hidden mists-
Insidiously breathed through Silver Strings...
Opening a car door is an innocent act...?
But it leaves our pores bare to the break...
Ah, 'tis grayish-white-silver bound...
And, oh, how it makes ones body just ache;
Floating in the air we breathe-to our pain center...
Mercury 'tis more than one of our Galaxies stars-
Surrounded by Venus, Earth, Mars and most importantly Saturn...
It delicately attaches itself: to wherever- you are;
Enviromental unintentionl pollution you say?
How about: Home grown terrorists family set?
Sickening you and i over and over again my friend-
Until our untimely demise 'tis met?
In discerning what 'tis considered normal exposure...
Anytime QuickSilver comes to mind...
High levels in ones very own hair: Sets Off The Alarms-
Of the 'Evil Acts'- of polluted people: most unkind!

Wanderers
Wide are the meadows of night,
And daisies are shinng there,
Tossing their lovely dews,
Lustrous and fair;
And through these sweet fields go,
Wanderers amid the stars --
Venus, Mercury, Uranus, Neptune,
Saturn, Jupiter, Mars.
'Tired in their silver, they move,
And circling, whisper and say,
Fair are the blossoming meads of delight
Through which we stray.

Mercury Blues
If I had money
Tell you what I'd do
I'd go downtown
Buy a Mercury or two
I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury
Ohh I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury
I'm gonna buy me a Mercury
Cruise it up and down the road
Well, I had me a girl
Stole her from a friend
Friend got lucky
Stole her back again
Cause she thought he had a Mercury
Ohh she thought he had a Mercury
I'm gonna buy me a Mercury
Cruise it up and down the road
CMON!!
[instrumental break - 6 measures]
Well, hey now mama
Lookin' so fine
Cruisin' round
In your Mercury 69
I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury
Ooo, I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury
I'm gonna buy me a Mercury
Cruise it up and down the road
My girl went out
Didn't stay long
Bought herself a Mercury
And Cruised it on home
Cause she know I have a Mercury
Ohh she know I have a Mercury
I'm gonna buy me a Mercury
Cruise it up and down the road
[instrumental break - 12 measures]
Well, hey now mama
Lookin' so fine
Cruisin' round
In your Mercury 69
I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury
Ooo, I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury
I'm gonna buy me a Mercury
Cruise it up and down the road
I'm gonna buy me a Mercury
Cruise it up and down the road
I'm gonna buy me a Mercury
Cruise it up and down
I'm going out
I'm gonna get me a real job
And I'm gonna buy me some

Ticket Of Dreams
Would you like visit the stars
What about mercury
Or even mars
There is not that much space between us
If i took a long jump could i land on venus
Then hitch a ride to jupiter or saturn
Then we could maybe catch a bus
To neptune and uranus
Come on lets go
We will even visit pluto
Then get a one way ticket back to earth
Imagine how much this trip would be worth
Maybe i have spoken to soon
But we have been to space
And even the moon
Way to hot to visit the sun
Lets keep dreaming for now but it would be fun
Mother Earth Gods Wonder
The infinity of space filled by the maker in a nano second
Makes galaxies with burning stars orbitally beckon
Planets to fly turning in their orbit,
Mother Earth Gods wonder creation to fit
Orbits round the sun the giver of her life to justify
The gift for mankind we must thank the Lord for ever high.
The Earth's baby Moon caress's the night time stars
We all look in wonder from Venus to Mars,
Forever and ever we must look after this planet of blue
With faith that is strong every day that is new,
Hallelujah and Amen.

Hats Felt - On Arsenic and Mercury used in the Manufacture of Felt Hats
HATS FELT
'Wolfe's mad as a hatter! ' said French to their King,
'He should bite my commanders' the latter replied,
'For when victory smiles one says: 'Where is thy sting? '
to Death as its sickle appears by bedside.'
Though Mercury's drops felt by, through, fuzzy, felt
makes mind muzzy, ears buzzy, yet four poster bed
stayed surrounded by green drapes rayed sunbeams might melt:
thus green dye, st[r]eamed arsenic, poisoned mind, head.
This explains why green's held as both envy and threat
in artistic tradition especially in France,
so both strickening, mercury, should they be met
must be put out of mind, warn 'gainst trusting to chance.
For some lovers felt waiting too much of a weight,
where rich chubby hubby could lay down his arms,
early opted for action which led to style 'late'
and deceased he who ceased from all cause for alarms.
Thus browned off they would green who once green had appeared,
whose brown study turned muddy then grey day by day,
leaving lover, lithe lady, to lift long wait feared,
as late lord soon succumbed, rate their roll in the hay.
Thus the messenger gods signal sods may ensue
if you wear any nightcap unless it be white,
lets 'gap toothed' (see Chaucer, Bath’s wife) can continue
until these stanzas conclude with Good day or Good Night!

White Angel
There's a white angel out there
Out there somewhere
It'll blow away the darkness
Let is bright light shine
There's a white angel out there
With gold encrested wings
A white halo of leaves
They only show certain people they're their angel
There's a white angel out there
One for each of us
Be they a friend to save you
Or a true being of Heaven
There's a white angel out there
Just let them find you please
They'll show you light
They'll save you from dark
There's a white angel out there
Just let them break through thier darkness
Let them gain those wings
And you'll see them waiting
There's a white angel out there
Just you wait and see

White-Mercury
Where is my white-mercury?
For you stole my mercury last night with your love,
And your ways led you away like a thief,
But your love was so sweet.
Nice and soft but your acts led you away so soon!
And your continuous abortion is noted all over,
But do think about the consequences in the future.

The Closest Planets To Earth
Your writing is...
Well,
So prolific.
It is as if you have wishes,
To touch every thinking mind...
In the Universe.
'Don't be so silly.
I'm sure there is a remote tribe,
Living somewhere in the Amazon...
Caring less I exist.
And besides...
I've learned to take one step at a time.
I have yet to receive a response,
From Mercury, Venus or Mars.
Are you sure they are the closest planets,
To Earth? '

Sonnet XIII: Phoebus Was Judge
Phoebus was judge between Jove, Mars, and Love,
Of those three gods, whose arms the fairest were:
Jove's golden shield did eagle sables bear,
Whose talons held young Ganymede above:
But in vert field Mars bare a golden spear,
Which through a bleeding heart his point did shove:
Each had his crest; Mars carried Venus' glove,
Jove in his helm the thunderbolt did rear.
Cupid them smiles, for on his crest there lies
Stella's fair hair, her face he makes his shield,
Where roses gules are borne in silver field.
Phoebus drew wide the curtains of the skies
To blaze these last, and sware devoutly then,
The first, thus match'd, were scantly gentlemen.

The Wedding Song
These are silver wings
These are golden eyes
These are floating clouds
Angel for love
Dreaming alone and I feel this someone
Someone
Listens to me

Angel for love
These are silver wings
These are golden eyes
These are floating clouds
Angel for love
Heaven is smiling down, heavens girl in a wedding gown
I never gonna be so good
Just like a good brochure
Im gonna change my way
Angel for love
Of all the saints alive
Dont I feel like a saint alive
Shes not mine for eternity
Though Ill never fly so high
I smiling
I believe in the magic
Angel for love
In the magic
Angel for love
I believe in magic
Angel for love
In the magic
Angel for love
I believe in the magic

January Stars
Ten below and falling fast
Those days of summer were long past
My horoscope said you'd come back
I have my doubts, you see
And as I watched the mercury
And thought about the prophecy
A new moon and an early thaw
I watched the door for you
If January stars came true
And as I gaze at winter stars
The second house conjunct with Mars
They would suggest that we'll be one
I have my doubts, you see
If I maintain a skeptic's eye
And train the other on the sky
I'd eat my hat if it came true
I'd probably eat yours too
If January stars came true
If January stars came true
Now I'm in a pretty mess
It's getting warmer I confess
My horoscope said you'd come back
I have my doubts it's true
And as I watched the mercury
And thought about the prophecy
A new moon and an early thaw
I left the door for you
If January stars
If January stars
If January stars came true
January stars

Rich Mans Spiritual
Gonna but me a long white robe
Yes lord to help me home
Im gonna buy me a long white robe
Yes lord to get me home
And when I get my heavenly gown
And I lay my burden down
Im gonna get me a long white robe to get me home
Im gonna buy me two golden slippers
Yes lord to walk me home
Im gonna buy me two golden slippers
Yes lord to walk me home
And when I get my slippers of gold
Then the lord will have my soul
Im gonna get me two golden slippers to get me home
Im gonna buy me two wings of silver
Yes lord to fly me home
Im gonna buy me two wings of silver
Yes lord to fly me home
And when I get my silvery wings
Then an angel choir will sing
Im gonna get me two wings of silver to get me home
Im gonna buy me a poor mans trouble
Yes lord to help me home
Im gonna buy me a poor mans trouble
Yes lord to help me home
And when I get my trouble and woe
Then homeward I will go
Im gonna get a little trouble and woe to get me home
Im gonna find me a smilin angel
Yes lord to lead me home
Im gonna get me a smilin angel
Yes lord to lead me home
And when he takes me by the hand
I know the lord will understand
Im gonna get me a smilin angel to lead me home
Im gonna get me a smilin angel to lead me home

Every single moment I too spin with my Karma!
Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune
Pluto, Mars, Mercury,
Earth, Moon and Venus
Inside the Asteroid belt
Sun you give us the Light!
You rise every morning
And set every night
According to the same shift
I work for my stingy pot bellied Boss
And get a pay check every fortnight.
Earth spins and travel around the Sun
It takes 365 1/4 days,
Every moment,
I too spin with my Karma
And when I get a total Solar Eclipse?
(During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon moves between Earth and the Sun and blocks the Sun light for a short time.)
*My grandson's picture book 'The Sun' (Allison Lassieur's) forced me to scribble this...................

A Haze Of Dust On The Windowpanes
A haze of dust on the windows at dusk,
cataracts glowing in the epiphanous sun
that leaves the night coming on like a door ajar
for the light to get out on its own like a cat.
And the next moment all the eyes
that were on the road to Damascus
blinded by a revelation are returned
from the darkness of their clarity
to their normal muddy mundane vision
and I can see the birch groves from here
upping their quota of white canes on the nightshift.
And isn't it strange how things emerge
from one mindscape into the next
like a serpent shedding its skin
like a sky it's been consulting about wings,
or the effortless birth sacs of the dragons
who have made the same transition
from the lowest of things to the highest
like a flying doctor bearing true north?
Polaris and Draco wrapped around
the tilted axis of the earth as if it were
the sign of a caduceus in the hand of a messenger
that says night is the best time to heal
and leaves us to the moonlit herb gardens
we planted in the spring of our dreams
when wild crocuses where just beginning
to poke their innocent noses through the snow?
Now the dark when the magicians come out
and the bats and the stars, and the fairies
are enthroned on their mushrooms and sacred stones
and retinal responses to reality
turn visionary in their pursuit
of an earthly excellence of their own
that doesn't belittle them again
as the gods and goddesses of a world of their own.
And me, I'm sitting here alone
wondering if I do empty myself of myself
so perfectly there's no one left to tell me
I've finally become no one fit enough
to lift the veils of Isis without expecting
to find just another starmap in hiding.
Or if I've rinsed myself clean enough of myself
to be washed from her eyes in tears
that fall like mirrors of mercury
in a fever of mystic thermometers
stuck under my tongue
like the silver bird bone flutes
of the perennial theme songs
I've been offering to ferrymen
in lieu of the obol of the full moon,
my penny in a wishing well,
to pay for my passage into death and back
like an enlightened return journey of a poet
who knows how to find his way home on his own
like a prophetic Orphic skull.
Ride the dragon. Play the flute of fire.
Cast a spell on the winter sunset
and take it off again in spring. O
inestimable nothing
what could I ask of the flower
that I didn't receive from the leaf?
It takes a rootless tree
to show you the way home.
But it doesn't take a road to know you've left.
I can hear my eyes weeping behind a deathmask.
Early wood sorrel under a leaf of duff.
Venus is in my rain washed window,
closer than blood could ever be.
The sky thinks it's a strutting peacock
but I know I painted that window
well over a year ago when I grew weary
of being myself like a stage without a play.
Do you know me yet? Can't you tell
when the roses bloom in the palm of my hand
like the stigmata of a starfish on the moon,
I'm the lost cause of a shadow
demanding more of the light
than a sacred clown on a burning ladder
could possibly know what to do with?
Meagre, meagre me. What immensities
I aspire to with a broken bouquet of arrows
like stalks of wheat in Virgo after a hailstorm.
I am not the slayer. I am not the slain.
I don't hold the crescent moon up to my jugular vein.
Or cut the throats of poppies to milk the dream.
And I don't care a hair for the difference
between the enlightened and insane.
I look at Venus through my windowpane
and the window's clean. Burn white. Burn silent.
Express yourself, but don't ask it to mean
anything more than you are to yourself
when no one's home, including you,
and you're shining for someone else.

Sonnet - The World Today(16)
The Tornado destroys things in its wake;
The Storm at sea has capsized Boats and ships;
The heavy rain has flooded vale and lake;
With Winter, mercury sub-zero dips.
The scorching Sun has parched all fields and lands;
The forest-fires have left just stubs of trees;
Most nations have gone into corrupt hands;
The world's people breathe polluted sea-breeze.
And evil-minds have plundered their own soil;
World's terrorists are bent on revenge first;
Samaritans good, help their attempts foil,
And forces good unite avoiding worst.
New diseases plague human beings, yet,
But Maker stays becalmed, His eyes well-set.

Mr. Bad Guy
Let's go chasing rainbows in the sky
It's my invitation
Let's all take a trip on my ecstasy
I'm Mr. Bad Guy
Yes I'm everybody's Mr. Bad Guy
Can't you see I'm Mr. Mercury
Oh, spread your wings and fly away with me.
Your big daddy's got no place to stay
Bad communication
I feel like the president of the USA
Mr. Bad Guy
Yes I'm everybody's Mr. Bad Guy
Can't you see I'm Mr. Mercury
Oh, spread your wings and fly away with me.
I'm Mr. Bad Guy
They're all afraid of me
I can ruin people's lives
Mr. Bad Guy they're all afraid of me
It's the only way to be
That's my destiny
Mr. Bad Guy, Mr. Bad Guy, Bad Guy
It's the only way for me
It's my destiny
Mr. Bad Guy
Yes I'm everybody's Mr. Bad Guy
Can't you see this is my destiny
Oh, spread your wings and fly away with me.

Mercury Girl
Shes staying around or else shes goin away
It could be forever or it might be a day
Or may be forever I call her a mercury girl
Shes building me up & then shes knocking me down
Like a factory chimney in a northern town
And I am demolished I call her a mercury girl
She never sees me till the sun goes down
Lives in a secret world
Says: her career is in another town
Life with a mercury girl
One day once when Ive got some time
I try to hold her but she wouldnt be mine
She slipped through my fingers & I missed the mercury girl
She came back to me with her mocking eyes
She told me she loved me but it could have been lies
And life can be up & down, life with a mercury girl
Life can be up & down, life with a mercury girl
One day once when Ive got some time
I try to hold her but she wouldnt be mine
She slipped through my fingers & I missed the mercury girl
And life can be up & down, life with a mercury girl
Life can be up & down, life with a mercury girl
