I remember the day the rainbow cried
As it was the day my nanny died
I stared in bewilderedness as the colours started to run
For the rainbow was crying as God put away the sun

The night was still, the moon was bright when he saw a distant light
So he started walkin till he found a church outside of town
And he stumbled in and closed the door, said why Im here, Im not sure
Its my baby that Im lookin for, cant she see Im down on my knees
Ive been calling, calling all angels, bring my baby back
Oh you must know where shes at, tell me what to do, I know shes one of you
Im down on my knees, tell her please, that I love her so
Tell me preacher, man to man, will you do all that you can
Ive done wrong, this I know, and I really hurt her so

Angels protect me from up above

Angels

Take this man to prison, the man heard herod say,
And then four squads of soldiers came and carried him away.
Chained up between two watchmen, peter tried to sleep,
But beyond the walls an endless prayer was lifting for his keep.
Then a light cut through the darkness of a lonely prison cell,
And the chains that bound the man of God just opened up and fell,
And running to his people before the break of day,
There was only one thing on his mind, only one thing to say:

God only knows the times my life was threatened just today.
A reckless car ran out of gas before it ran my way.

This Isn't Everything You Are

He walked into a drugstore that day
He took a bullet and saved a girl
Not for heroic reasons
But to end his journey
His mum held his feet and prayed
with a hundred teardrops
Two thousand hands of a thousand angels
Performed CPR and with four thousand teardrops
Warmed his frozen body
God sits, turns his face and sheds a dropp or two
He lies alone in pitch darkness
The going had been tough
And he chose to get going
He dug a hole, lay and covered himself
Grace felt fat and took a stroll that day
He walked and smiled
Stepping on a heap of sand, he felt pain
Stooped and moved the sand
Turned his face and stared the turned teary face
Face to face they stared
The angels keep at it and look to God and grace
'There's joy not far from here', the angels echoed
He'd strayed, mum prayed, angels stayed
God came, breathed in him
Whispered and said, 'this isn't everything you are'
His heart beat, his mum smiled
Angels cried, God tried
To show him, all he was made to be
He cried, angels smiled
You are more than what you've been through
You are more than what you are today
And hope, though not bankable
Is the thread of life
And if you ever feel like walking away from it all

Angels are your friend through life,

Heaven I Need A Hug

Heaven send one of your Angels down from above,
To show me which way to go, and shower me with their love,
Heaven send one of your Angels because their help is needed,
so I can fight this battle, without being defeated,
Heaven send one of your Angels to carry me in their arms, to keep me away from all saddness and Satans harm,
Heaven send one of your Angels to wipe my tears away,

Sleeping with the angels

sleeps keep the immortal soul at peace with
the eternity calls, the tranquility of our warm
heart recalls

as angels watch our deep snoring, every
breath wakes our imagination of what we want
in the most astonishing super hero of our dreams

the sole witness of our moving spirit to venture
beyond our human faculty, of being more than
we come to guide our steps for only
by following our strings of aspiration our mortal
body reaches beyond human satisfaction

lives not the fears of every immortal of tears, for
the night comes like lightning of the sky, swifting
thunders of the angels fury where echo of souls
cried for mercy, of the slaying angels of darkness

let every sleeps be a moment of unifying souls of
beauty, lying with angels memory, where each
stay is with in heaven's nest of rest, for every day
is a good sleep with an angel’s best

as you sleep, always make yourself happy, for in
every snoring, lying the angel’s touch of cooled
sleep, leaving you its angelic breath ready
to wake and see angels sleep

then you come to know that it’s the angels who sleep
