Write If You Can?
write if you can
when you can
as soon as you can
immediately
instantly
creatively
why waste decades
wisdom thoughts departing
never realized never known?

When I was on that boat, I realized the only way I would feel creatively challenged was if I totally changed everything about my environment and put myself in a storm, in a sense.

What Is It To Waste A Night?
WHAT IS IT TO WASTE A NIGHT?
What is it to waste a night
When I have wasted years?
Why worry now so close to the end
Hasn’t it all been a waste?
Won’t it all be a waste one day
No matter how I play the game
Of seeking to make my name eternal?
But this is this night and no other
And I writing this now
Am redeeming it from ‘waste’
And fooling myself for one more day
‘It has not been a waste nothing is a waste
when I can write a real poem now.’

Here today&Gone tomorrow
As i look at my surrounding's,
I realized i could be here today and gone tomorrow,
My mom's said to live my life and enjoy it,
Because i could be here today and gone tomorrow,
I always thought that life was a fairytale & i would always be a princess,
But i didn't realize i could be here today & gone tomorrow,
People always say the world would end in 2012,
But the world could be here today & gone tomorrow,
As i continued to walk down the streets & look at my surrounding's,
I realized that i'm no longer on earth,
I realized this pathway instantly when the gates appeared,
I realized that i was there yesterday but gone today,
No more suffering
No more pain
I'm gone today

Why I Write?
I write poems for myself and I write for the readers
I write for the masses and I write for the leaders
I write to imprint my thoughts in people's mind
I write to make the bad guys helpful and kind
I write to light up our path to Great God
I write for everyone home and abroad
I write to preserve values new and old
I write to make my ink precious like gold
I write for peace and I write for progress
I write to make the world a better place
All major issues I want to address
I write to see smile on God's face

Once Again I Write...
This pen, this paper is once again my savior.
I write to save my sanity.
I write to ease my heart.
I write to cleanse my soul.
I write to feel alive.
I write to keep my mind strong and my thoughts clear.
I write my words of sorrow, despair, pain, and love, as well as words of wisdom.
I write so that one day someone will truly know me.
This paper, this pen is once again my inspiration.
It is the inspiration to what I see.
It is the inspiration to what I hear.
It is the inspiration to what I feel.
It is the inspiration to the art I create.
It is the inspiration to what I draw.
It is the inspiration to the love for my daughter.
It is the inspiration to the love for my husband.
This pen, this paper is once again my savior.
Once again I write to say thank you my timeless friends.
Thank you for saving me time and time again.

Cameras Never Lie
the camera never lies
but in the hands
of an artist shades
of colour speak volumes
old age may fade
graphically speaks
wisdom as a sage
wisdom of decades

Living creatively is really important to maintain throughout your life. And living creatively doesn't mean only artistic creativity, although that's part of it. It means being yourself, not just complying with the wishes of other people.

Read Nothing Serious
fun poems always
usually easiest to write
but in my twenties
realized it was
all anyone most would
read nothing serious
political world
had issues
world kept
saying write
me write
me I thought...

Immediately Connected
My eyes have laid on the Sun,
For many moons.
And for most of my life,
I have been creatively active.
Both on and off stage...
I've gone through many phases.
And I am blessed to be able to address it,
In this manner.
From writing on walls...
To having my writings read on the internet,
I must confess...
Amazes me.
IF I had 'just' developed this interest...
I wouldn't be that impressed.
Or feel a sense of accomplishment.
And I still use a pad and pen,
To keep this discipline as fresh as possible.
Since electricity isn't as dependable,
When I have a need...
To be immediately connected.

The Sound Of Poetry!
God keeps a library up above
And there records Man’s thoughts on love!
The best are gentle, like a dove,
And warm and tender, like a glove...
I’ve heard that angels gather near,
Each time a writer sheds a tear...
Above his shoulders, thus to peer,
To read the words his heart holds dear!
Lord, let me write with this in mind!
Please stir my heart until I find
New thoughts with wisdom underlined
And God-blessed visions, pure and kind...
Resplendent rhythms set in rhyme!
Lyrical lines, like steps to climb!
Exquisite thoughts compressed in time!
Together, evermore sublime!
Let sacred souls find ecstasy
In Christian verse of Cavalry!
Lord, bid me write... yet hear my plea...
God bless the sound of poetry!

Mockery To Waste Money
Mockery to waste money
And enjoy life
Waste time and energy
Direct not what to write
And what not to write
How to dance
And how not to dance
Deprived not dues
Bare necessities
And not be a
Subject of mockery.

Specialty
Dont chop off his head
To make yourself look tall
Dont tear a strip off
To make yourself feel wonderful
Who wants to compare
As if this was a competition
Leave that to teachers at school
Must preserve their tradition
bout time you realized
You are a specialty
There is no one like you
Spend your life worrying
bout what you could have been
Cant you like being you
Dont need a scalp
Dont need to be a juror
Take care of yourself
No need to feel so insecure
Waste of energy
To prove a holier than him
Waste of energy
To find out who commits what sin
bout time you realized
You are a specialty
There is no one like you
Spend your life worrying
bout what could have been
Cant you like being you
Dont chop off his head ...
bout time you realized ...
