Rein Held Race The Winds Upon Wild Spirited Horses
songs we are born with may be sung from sunrise to sunset
these tunes are our tunes life tunes strung to our souls journey
we must harmonize until the end the living the love the journey
our dreams run fly in the wind as bird songs whistle symphonies
synchronize moments melting from birth steps to chariot races
time is my rein held race the winds upon wild spirited horses
thunder wild horses racing through glorious mountain passes
dawn lit my way noon sun browned my back sunset red kisses
life a chariot race I raced death laughing cheating hairpin turns
death old friend let us race time again together in new universes
Dedicated to Pranab K. Chakraborty.

Offering As An Ignorant
The tune
You tuned
At the time
Of my birth
Cryingly I find
To harmonize
My living
My love
My journey
To make its end
The tune
You tuned
I listen in the wind
The dream sends the signal
Yet the life the present the past
The seeker I ever unrest
Unsettled to synchronize
Me with the chariot
The rein you hold
Yourself yet to path unending
After death
After...after....
The song I have to sung
For the final return!

Passion
The keys to notes play tunes of loss,
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
'Til metal enshrouding the air does trump with
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
Wood and string provide a base for
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
Encased in brass belong the bones of
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
Emblems and traps do kick and swear by
Tunes of longing, tunes of blues.
Until laughter disturbs this sweet eden,
My tortured soul lies bare.
I leave my emotions encapsulated
In sonic vibrations of air.
The tunes of longing and tunes of blues
Are played until the eve
When players no longer respect their tears
And thus, themselves, deceive.

Wild Horses
Childhood living
It's easy to do
The things you wanted
I bought them for you
Graceless lady
You know who I am
You know I can't let you
Slide through my hand
Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
I watched you suffer
A dull aching pain
Now you're decided
To treat me the same
No sweeping exits
Or offstage lines
Could make me feel bitter
Or treat you unkind
Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
I have my freedom
But I dont have much time
So let's do some living
After we die
Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild horses
We want them someday

Mustangs Are Born Free (Monchielle)
Let wild horses run free
In mountains let them be
Release them let them go
Stop killing these horses
They are so scared you know
Let wild horses run free
Don't divide mom from baby
Wild horses to be free
Let them run in mountain
Don't take freedom away
Let wild horses run free
Let's join voices help horses
Take them where they belong
They truly need our help
Selling these horses wrong
Let wild horses run free
Since small I love horses
I grew up watch them grow
Mustangs are beautiful
They're unique smart you know.

The Tin-Whistle Player
'Tis long since, long since, since I heard
A tin-whistle played,
And heard the tunes, the ha'penny tunes
That nobody made!
The tunes that were before Cendfind
And Cir went Ireland's rounds
That were before the surety
That strings have given sounds!
And now is standing in the mist,
And jigging backward there,
Shrilling with fingers and with breath,
A tin-whistle player!
He has hare's eyes, a long face rimmed
Around with badger-grey;
Aimless, like cries of mountain birds
The tunes he has to play
The tunes that are for stretches bare,
And men whose lives are lone
And I had seen that face of his
Sculptured on cross of stone,
That long face, in a place of graves
With nettles overgrown.

Little Bird..Is Your Heart Parched ?
Little Bird..!
I doubt your heart would become parched
by efforts to roll your breaths into verses-
and raising your bills into the skies
pipe your melodies flooding the dawn....
Where is the fountainhead of
the deathless springs of your music?
What is the interwoven message
in your unbroken songs?
Is it the shackles-shattering joy
with the birth of hopeful morn?
Is it specially for the mornings
do your songs surge in waves?
Or else, is it just for your songs
the morns arrive in hurried steps?
Which angel exactly at dawn
daily unfailingly wakes you up?
Who is she that floods your heart
with sweetness and verve?
Wherefrom do you steal the honey
dripping in your melodies?
If not, what swings in your small heart
is it a honey comb?
Or else, is your heart itself
structured in the heavy honeycomb?
Does your heart hold ' Paanjajanyam'
the mighty conch of 'Lord Krishnaa'?
What is your wage for singing songs
for 'Lord Sun' at the temple of 'Day '?
Is everyday of the year to you
the salary day of the month?
Do you decorate the golden wrists of dawn
full with the bangles of melody?
Tactfully moulding the syrup of music
fixing a flute as its mouth...
to brighten the heart
lighting the lamps of tunes..
does 'Mother Nature' create you
in her moments of ecstasy?
Have you bound and brought the sun
by your musical lines, little bird?
Tell me, little bird, is the infant 'Sun'
delivered by 'Mother Music'
at the house of East
in the birth pangs of tunes?

Want To Slow Down?
Rushing here and rushing there, men in a hurry to get just where?
Racing down the highway of life, creating on the roads such strife.
When arriving at their destination, what then is their consolation?
Only more racing through the day, and more grief along the way.
Each day begins a hectic pace, appearing to grip the human race,
Men never stop to take a breath; before long they’re facing death.
Many lives simply go too fast, pursuing things that just won’t last.
Is there maybe a better way, to begin and end each passing day?
What matters when all is done; isn’t life more than work and fun?
Is there not a deeper meaning, to give purpose to our very being?
Seemingly facing death after birth, when living life upon this earth,
Is there something better friend, when our lives come to the end?
If you could only slow your pace, you could then join another race,
You could join the race with Christ, a race that ends in Eternal Life.
Slowing down to hear God’s voice, can be for you another choice,
Just take the time and He is heard, upon the pages of God’s Word.
In The Bible, you will see His plan, for the earth and for every man,
A plan that gives our life meaning, and in His Son a new beginning.
With a life of purpose and peace; an eternal life that will not cease,
And all that you must do to start, is to accept Christ into your heart.

When the Sun Set...
caught me in the dark sky and slave
me not my great light of illusion, where
the eyes had close and vanish in the
oblation of reality, amongst any other
men
wish my spirited soul and tied me up
in the journey without the flesh, for the
sunset nest behind, the glorious sky; as
the wind listens to the hymn of songs
to fly
oh! let the beloved deep sleep cry and
transverse in the melody of our blind
ears; to the rhythm of the notes that beats,
beyond the silent of the night;
you'll be blown by the wind and blind,
as you touch the spirit of the sun set,
you've cried
take the first journey and the songs to cry,
leaves you to capture the great night
of the sky …

She Rides Wild Horses
Its just her and the band and the clean up men
Shes counting up her tips
She did alright, she says goodnight
She drives home to a 3-room flat
Checks her machine and she feeds the cat
Shes almost asleep before she turns out the lights.
In her dreams she rides wild horses
And they carry her away on the wind
And they never make a sound
As they fly above the ground
Tonight she rides wild horses again.
Shes fallen in love a time or two
Somehow all of her dreams fell through
But shes strong, she carries on.
Her life aint always gonna be this way
She knows shes gonna shine someday
But for now, shell escape til the dawn.
In her dreams .....

Me and My Sunset Love !
'bye-bye my love, ' she said
'our love aint worthy another try'
hand in hand
in the sunset, we stand
'i just want this day to end, ' she says
'so that you can have your first last kiss'
i go east, she heads west
to chase our wildest dreams
so i run and run
to catch up with the sun
and make today remain
if you see me coming down the road
my shadow taller than my saul
just know am on the race
a race against time
am trying my love am trying
to make this day a-never ending
but the sun is sinking
sinking behind the mountains
to rise again behind me
she runs and runs
away from the sunset
into the darkness
on and on to the west she goes
thank God the earth is round
eventually she emerges from the east
running towards the dawn
sunset and dawn become one
and we meet again
she falls into my arms
and makes my day again
i get my second last kiss
and at sunset our circle will progress
its craziness this love we share
we cant be together
and we cant be apart

A Gallop of Fire
When the north wind moans thro' the blind creek courses
And revels with harsh, hot sand,
I loose the horses, the wild red horses,
I loose the horses, the mad, red horses,
And terror is on the land.
With prophetic murmer the hills are humming,
The forest-kings bend and blow;
With hoofs of brass on the baked earth strumming,
O brave red horses, they hear us coming,
And the legions of death lean low.
O'er the wooded height, and the sandy hollow
Where the boles to the axe have rung,
Tho' they fly the foreman as flies the swallow,
The fierce red horses, my horses, follow
With flanks to the faint earth flung.
Or with frenzied hieroglyphs, fear embossing
Night's sable horizon bars,
Thro' tangled mazes of death-darts crossing,
I swing my leaders and watch them tossing
Their red manes against the stars.
But when South winds sob in the drowned creek courses
And whisper to hard wet sand,
I hold the horses, the spent red horses,
I hold the horses, the tired red horses,
And silence is on the land.
Yea, the South wind sobs among the drowned creek courses
For sorrows no man shall bind---
Ah, God! For the horses, the black plumed horses,
Dear God! For the horses, Death's own pale horses,
That raced in the tracks behind.

I'll ask a Bluebird…
I'll ask a bluebird
To sing a summer song
Tones so lovely slurred
For life is coming along
Each day and night tender
Of love songs in the air
My thoughts to this surrender
In tunes of moments fair
I'll ask a thrush that plays
Its summer forest songs
Why each of them dallies
To a heart that longs
When breezy are the leaves
Of the wandering hour
With many thoughts of eves
For the meadow flower
Night of late shall come
To every summer singing
Growing on tincturing blossom
An end to their dreams bringing
For love shall fly away
Into another living wave
Where flowers in wind sway
With the new songs to crave

We are love is
We are the salt, love is the ocean, love is the sky, love is the universe, love is God the source that creates, that sustains this and all universes, every life, your life. Love is in every grain of salt just as much as it is in every universe. See the love, the miracles unfold, through the winds, through the storms, in the sunshine, in worlds being destroyed, in worlds being born, in universes going out, in universes coming in, in man's birth, in man's death, in our present time, in your birth, in your death, in your life, right now.

Eagles And Horses
This song appears on five albums, and was first released on the flower that shattered the stone album. it has also appeared on the stonehaven sunrise, a portrait and the john denver collection -
Me home, country roads albums. a live version also appears on the wildlife concert album.
Horses are creatures who worship the earth
As they gallop on feet of ivory
Constrained by the wonder of dying and birth
The horses still run, they are free
My body is merely the shell of my soul
But the flesh must be given its due
Like a pony that carries its rider back home
Like an old friend that's tried and been true
I had a vision of eagles and horses
High on a ridge in a race with the wind
Going higher and higher and faster and faster
On eagles and horses i'm flying again
Eagles inhabit the heavenly heights
They know neither limit nor bound
They're the guardian angels of darkness and light
They see all and hear every sound
My spirit will never be broken or caught
For the soul is a free-flowing thing
Like an eagle that needs neither comfort nor thought
To rise up on glorious wings
I had a vision of eagles and horses
High on a ridge in a race with the wind
Going higher and higher and faster and faster
On eagles and horses i'm flying again
My body is merely the shell of my soul
But the flesh must be given its due
Like a pony that carries its master back home
Like an old that's tried and been true
My spirit will never be broken or caught
For the soul is a free-flowing thing
Like an eagle that needs neither comfort nor thought

Death-Statement
Death has no color at all yet
you the liar
the poet and painter
tried to make me convinced
much colorful journey to anchor
whenever the gossip begins
you cried with enthusiastic arrogance
to simply the eternity infinity
with its gorgeous act to guide the chariot
blunt bogus the orthodox maniac
never tried to catch the origin
by dying you own
words and brushes
many times illustrate
a deep romantic ambiance
as if
death is the destiny to grab
with heroic passion
liar you are
I don't believe you
the poet and painter
you only know the way to
tremendous self-suffering
to enjoy death every moment
actually you don't live
live your ideas...

For Everyone The Life Journey
For everyone the life journey is different though a journey that for all of us must end
Along the way we meet some who do not like us But we also do make many a good friend
And on the journey we learn many lessons we've been learning from life since before we did crawl
And every day we live in life for us a lesson and that applies to you and me and all
And on our life journey we make many mistakes and for every one of them some price to pay
But we must struggle onwards towards the finish and every dawning for us a new day
For many life's road more uphill than downhill it is a hard journey to undertake
We have the good days and we have the bad days and every dawn to a new challenge we wake
Tomorrow is another day they will tell you and tomorrow in it's own good time will come
But tomorrow will not be for everybody today's will be the last sunset for some
For every one of us life's journey is different so different for you as it is for me
And our thinking on most things are quite different we all look at life so very differently
For everyone the life journey has to end sometime but where or when we are not meant to know
For some it will end before they reach their prime years and for some when they are walking slow.
