Mourning Anniversary

After all these years
thirty years
thirty years and more.
The emptiness the loneliness
cries I love you more.

I held you once
only once
more than thirty years ago.
And then my love
my only love I had to let you go.

But my heart had seen
my eyes had seen
the only true love for me.
When you walked
away my love.
You turned not back
to look at me.

A single embrace
just one embrace
is all that’s let to me.
A single embrace
just one embrace
second never again to be.

And no one cries for me.
No one cries for me.

My Next Thirty Years

(track 12 - time 3:37)
(phil vassar)
I think Ill take a moment, celebrate my age
The ending of an era and the turning of a page
Now its time to focus in on where I go from here
Lord have mercy on my next thirty years
Hey my next thirty years Im gonna have some fun
Try to forget about all the crazy things Ive done
Maybe now Ive conquered all my adolescent fears
And Ill do it better in my next thirty years
My next thirty years Im gonna settle all the scores
Cry a little less, laugh a little more
Find a world of happiness without the hate and fear
Figure out just what Im doing here
In my next thirty years
Oh my next thirty years, Im gonna watch my weight
Eat a few more salads and not stay up so late
Drink a little lemonade and not so many beers
Maybe Ill remember my next thirty years
My next thirty years will be the best years of my life
Raise a little family and hang out with my wife
Spend precious moments with the ones that I hold dear
Make up for lost time here, in my next thirty years
In my next thirty years

To Mrs. Thrale on Her Completing Her Thirty-fifth Year

Oft in danger, yet alive,
We are come to thirty-five;
Long may better years arrive,
Better years than thirty-five.
Could philosophers contrive
Life to stop at thirty-five,
Time his hours should never drive
O'er the bounds of thirty-five
High to soar, and deep to dive,
Nature gives at thirty-five.
Ladies, stop and tend your hive,
Trifle not at thirty-five;
For, howe'er we boast and strive,
Life declines from thirty-five:
He that ever hopes to thrive
Must begin by thirty-five:
And all who wisely wish to wive
Must look on Thrale at thirty-five.

When Love Cries

Baby you
turned my world into something new
nights are long when you're far away
hunger for you every night and day
whisper softly to the wind
need you back in my arms again
passion calls from deep inside
it only happens when my love cries

You make my heart sing (x3)
when love cries
you make my heart sing (x3)
when love cries...love cries...love cries

And when I am blue
close my eyes and dream of you
silent echoes scream out your name
you're the keeper of my flame
I'll survive on desire
'til I'm closer to your burning fire
ride a star across the sky
I need you here when my love cries

You make my heart sing (x3)
when love cries
you make my heart sing (x3)
when love cries...love cries
you make my hear sing (x6)
when love cries

Ooh baby
to be near you
just to feel you

Baby

Love's Embrace

Filled with happiness
when I'm with you,
There are no days
that are sad and blue.

No doubt that you take me
to a better place,
And wrap me tight
in your love's embrace.

Your smile is filled
with warmness I see,
Your laughter says
you are happy with me.

Your heart is as soft
as velvet and lace,
Still pulling me into
your love's embrace.

Gone are the days
I searched high and low,
Taking every hit
of heartbreak's mighty blow.

No longer do I feel
the pain of tears down my face,
You wiped them all away
with your love's embrace.

Now here I stand
to return that love to you,
My heart will always be yours,
faithful and true.

We both found true love,
and are wrapped in God's grace.
And to each other we are wrapped,
in our love's embrace.

Ten Grey hairs and a silver one

I discovered my first grey hair
when I was Seventeen years old
It had to do with broken up my first relationship

I discovered my second grey hair
when I was Twenty years old
It had to do with the quarrels at home

I discovered my third grey hair
when I was Twenty-one years old
It had to do with searching for work

I discovered my fourth grey hair
when I was Twenty-three years old
It had to do with loosing my job

I discovered my fifth grey hair
when I was Twenty-five years old
It had to do with giving up my unborn child

I discovered my sixth grey hair
When I was Twenty-eight years old
It had to do with opening my pub

I discovered my seventh grey hair
When I was thirty years old
It had to do with giving birth to my daughter

I discovered my eight grey hair
When I was thirty –two years old
It had to do with the first day at the kinder garden school

I discovered my ninth grey hair
When I was thirty-four years old
It had to do with to find out that some thing was missing

I discovered my tenth grey hair
When I was thirty-five years old
It had to do with the fights between my sisters and mum

My one Silver hair I discovered lately
Has to do with you
Because I miss you so hard …

Thirty three years

Thirty three years
~
Soon I turn thirty three
And wonder what I have to show
I feel I have achieved very little
And have been going nowhere fast
I fear I am stuck in my ways
And this is my lot for life
I sit alone in writing this morning
With my usual coffee for one
I have loved, had my heart broken
Let opportunities slip away
Now I tend to do nothing
At least I wont feel hurt that way
I have spent time in solitary
And lost touch with the world
Please try and remember that
To excuse my lack of social grace
The pace of each year is picking up
While I am still young in some eyes
Still may yet have a lot to achieve
I look at the past thirty two years
And see myself an old man
Lonely and turning thirty three

Let the Sky Cry

She said, “Don’t be afraid, boy,
I’m right here.
I’m tired and yawning
And glad you’re near.”

The sun is setting and we’re winding down
The time we’ve spent is worth having found
This quiet little place in this quiet little town,
So don’t make a sound
Just lie here next to me
And sing this next verse
As we slowly fall asleep.

When the sky cries
I’ll always be here,
To wipe your eyes and catch your tears.
When the sky cries,
Ill shield you from the falling rain,
The cosmic perfection and love will remain
When the sky cries.

Don’t be sucked in,
It’s only a storm.
Please don’t cry;
I’ll keep you warm.
The speckles and drops will all go away
But the sun and the stars will always remain
So please smile for me and grant this wish:
For every storm to be as beautiful as this.

When the sky cries
I’ll be the one to hold you close,
To prevent a shiver or comatose.
When the sky cries
I’ll keep you away from the cold
And protect your heart as if it were gold.
When the sky cries.

The sky will cry and we’ll be alright
We won’t be afraid of the temporary night.
The thunder will shriek and lightening will shine
But we’ll be ok; everything will be fine
As long as I have you in my embrace
With your hands cupping my face
The sky will soon lighten and the sun will come back
Our lives will be spared and the courage we lack
Won’t seem like much compared to you
And my wish will eventually come true.
For every storm to be like this,
To find each other and sneak a kiss
When the sky cries, we’ll conquer the storm
And allow our love to grow more and more.

Thirty-nine

O hapless day! O wretched day!
I hoped you'd pass me by--
Alas, the years have sneaked away
And all is changed but I!
Had I the power, I would remand
You to a gloom condign,
But here you've crept upon me and
I--I am thirty-nine!

Now, were I thirty-five, I could
Assume a flippant guise;
Or, were I forty years, I should
Undoubtedly look wise;
For forty years are said to bring
Sedateness superfine;
But thirty-nine don't mean a thing--
À bas with thirty-nine!

You healthy, hulking girls and boys,--
What makes you grow so fast?
Oh, I'll survive your lusty noise--
I'm tough and bound to last!
No, no--I'm old and withered too--
I feel my powers decline
(Yet none believes this can be true
Of one at thirty-nine).

And you, dear girl with velvet eyes,
I wonder what you mean
Through all our keen anxieties
By keeping sweet sixteen.
With your dear love to warm my heart,
Wretch were I to repine;
I was but jesting at the start--
I'm glad I'm thirty-nine!

So, little children, roar and race
As blithely as you can,
And, sweetheart, let your tender grace
Exalt the Day and Man;
For then these factors (I'll engage)
All subtly shall combine
To make both juvenile and sage
The one who's thirty-nine!

Yes, after all, I'm free to say
I would much rather be
Standing as I do stand to-day,
'Twixt devil and deep sea;
For though my face be dark with care
Or with a grimace shine,
Each haply falls unto my share,
For I am thirty-nine!

'Tis passing meet to make good cheer
And lord it like a king,
Since only once we catch the year
That doesn't mean a thing.
O happy day! O gracious day!
I pledge thee in this wine--
Come, let us journey on our way
A year, good Thirty-Nine!

A Woman & A Man

I took a walk today
To where the ocean meets the sky
I thought about the way
They always say love never dies
And as the sun went down
I saw a lovers silhouette
A woman and a man
In a dance I envied them
I thought of you
I loved you so
I dont know why
I let you go
A woman and a man
A love so close
Walk hand in hand
While Im alone
A woman and a man
A love embrace
He turned his head
I saw his face
Could it be you
Yes, it was you
A woman and a man
I had to turn away
I hoped you wouldnt see me there
I thought about the way
You used to say I didnt care
And as you walked on by
I pulled my scarf across my face
And I began to cry
For all the love Id thrown away
But there you were
Like in a dream
You were with her
And not with me
A woman and a man
A love so close
Walk hand in hand
While Im alone
A woman and a man
A love embrace
He turned his head
I saw his face
Could it be you
Yes, it was you
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
We were so close. baby
Guess you never know
Just how precious love is
til youve had it and held it
And let it go
A woman and a man
A love so close
Walk hand in hand
While Im alone
A woman and a man
A love embrace
He turned his head
I saw his face
Could it be you
Yes, it was you
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man

Every Single Day

Every single day
We'll remember what we do today
Words we didn't say
We'll remember every single day
Then years go by
To wonder why, and wonder what we learned
Was that the bridge we should'a crossed?
The one we burned?
Every empty night
To regret a life that could've been
Maybe you were right,
just forget that emptiness within
So if you go
before that moment's gone
look at me the way
I'll remember every single day
From now on
You deserve,I don't know,
what the man I'd love to be
That's not the way it turned out
No, you fell in love with me
Everything you doubt
I will fight for every single day
Help me work it out
Make it right for every single day
But this I swear
I'd stake my life upon
If you go or stay
I will love you as I do today
And I love you
Every Single Day
From Now On

Til' The Last Drop

My pen has only a little ink before it is dry, but my heart still has many more words to say. So I will write until my heart has no more words to say or ’til the last drop.

My dear sweet love;
It has been several years since my eyes have had the pleasure of seeing your beautiful face, or my arms the pleasure of feeling your warm embrace.

But I’d like you to know ‘til the last tear dropp falls
from my eyes, in my heart your love will lie.

‘Til the last dropp of love leaves my heart, you and I will never part.

‘Til the last dropp of compassion is drained from my soul, in my arms you I will forever hold.

It has been several years since you been out my life, and even through you’re in heaven you’re still my wife.

Well, my love the words are starting to fade, but not because my heart has no more to say, but my pen is going dry.

But before the last dropp I’d like you to know I will love you ‘til the day I die.

My Angel Daughter

My Angel Daughter
You came into this world
Was treasured forever.

An angel sent from heaven above
For my pride heart to embrace.
My pride heart is overflowing
With the marvel of a love like
I have never acknowledged.

When I cuddled you in my arms
It was magical! A touch no other
But my motherhood could offer.
Truly the passion required no words.

Your gorgeous face
Is something I admire to see each day?
With a single word of love to intensity
As you are so cute and amazingly lucid

Your eyes soften me with emotion
So powerful it is beyond belief.
A caring and unconditional love
That shines from them, that…
Makes me tremble with excitement
For our life to start a journey

Each day your smile seal
my heart with a happiness
To have you in my life daughter
is truly a blessing!

Whenever my cute daughter you embrace me,
I hope you by no means let go from me
I will always embrace you back,
And this I hope you know...........
How much I desire for you to be with me

You’re my angel daughter, my sweetest daughter,
Everything I desire you to be.
You’re my angel daughter sent from god,
To share my life with you.

Maybe one day we meet again,
In other circumstances and…
I promise to you yet again
My unconditional love and devotion.
For I will treasure each day
That God provide me and you,
Our own little piece of heaven on earth.
In which we can live forever

God bless you my angel daughter...
With health, wealth and happiness of peace
God bless you with all you necessitate in life.
You are my angel daughter....
I love you so.....

On summer evening a month of June,21 years ago I gave birth to a cute loving daughter, which was a very excitement day for both of us to see her softness and the way she embrace in my arms. Today she is grown up as a beautiful woman. One day she will leave my side to build her future and family like me.

I Hear You Now

After the first embrace from you my senses knew
The look of love was in your eyes
And after we first make love our senses tingle to
The touch oh how we hypnotize
Oh, to get the feeling on and on
Oh, just to get the feeling
Holding you closer in my arms we drift to heaven
Bringing in the morning light
And after all is said and done theres only us
We can make it right
So, our love will carry on and on
Now our love will be free, be free.
And when we play, love dont delay, I hear you now
For what was then, is what is now, anyhow
As I became a guest of loves tune here again
Well carry on together like today.
After the first embrace from you I want you too
After the first embrace from you I want you too

Shaved

He had wore a beard every since his early teens.
It had been at least thirty years since anyone saw him without it.
For those thirty years he felt he had something to hide.
But yesterday he shaved and freed himself from the thirty year mask he had been wearing.
He said it feels good to no longer have that itchy heavy beard weighing him down.
Yesterday he shaved when he finally told everyone he is gay.

Golden Wheat

Remember me when the South wind blow
Golden wheat, where the waves dance in row
Forget the emptiness and cold
Embrace love and the memories you hold

Remember me solemnly gazing for doe
Golden wheat, where waves dance in row
Entwined together on the greens we rolled
Embrace love and the memories you hold

Will you stay with me, as old we grow
Golden wheat, where the wave dance in row
Together we'll erase the world's toll
Embrace love and the memories you hold

South wind lover always know
Golden wheat, where waves dance in row
Bodies come together as if made in a mold
Embrace love and the memories you hold

My pledge to you from Heaven and below
Golden wheat, where waves dance in row
With my last breath our love will still unfold
Embrace love and the memories you hold

When we're gone I hope our descendants know
Golden Wheat, where waves dance in row
Feel the south wind, be it warm or cold
Embrace love and the memories you hold

Love Without Sex

A woman of thirty five
And a mother of two kids,
With modesty to the core,
She was lured to fall for him
When they were given proximity
For a couple of years.
Even now the love is vibrant
After thirteen years,
Notwithstanding any
Physical intimacy
It has culminated in.
Sexual love can exist without sex.

My Lonely Heart

My lonely heart
Holds much despair
Emptiness
Emptiness
Is often found there

My pillow is filled
With tears and fears
Though we've been married
For eighteen years

My lonely heart
Cries night and day
My husband's love
Seems miles away

Though we're together
Day by Day
My lonely heart
Cries night and days

Is there any
Consolation
For my lonely heart?

If We Only Have Love

(brell/shuman/blau)
If we only have love
Then tomorrow will dawn
And the days of our years will rise on that morn
If we only have love
To embrace without fears
We will kiss with our eyes
We will sleep without tears
If we only have love
We can reach those in pain
We can heal all our wounds
We can use our own name
If we only have love
We can melt all the guns
And then give the new word
To our daughters and our sons
Oh, if we only have love
With our arms open wide
Then the young and the old will stand at our side
If we only have love
We will never bow down
Well be tall as the pines
Neither heroes nor clowns
If we only have love
To be shared by all men
We will drink from a dram
To be born once again
If we only have love
If we only have love
