Advice To Mr. Michael Ignatieff

I would vote for you if I could see changes and you showed some gall,
But as far as I can see, you will change nothing at all,
And why can’t I vote for a prime minister by name for a change?
And if that’s the job you want, say that this you will arrange.

You have to offer us an alternative in our present trance,
We need binding referendums and recall and this is your chance,
We need compulsory voting so we have to vote and behave,
Because what you are doing, doesn’t change much or even make waves.

Will the election be timed to the arrival of refugee ships?
Should we send out the navy to help them finish their long trips?
And you don’t know if we are going to have an election yet,
We don’t have set-date elections and you are placing your bet.

O, Time And Change, They Range And Range

O, Time and Change, they range and range
From sunshine round to thunder! -
They glance and go as the great winds blow,
And the best of our dreams drive under:
For Time and Change estrange, estrange -
And, now they have looked and seen us,
O, we that were dear, we are all-too near
With the thick of the world between us.

O, Death and Time, they chime and chime
Like bells at sunset falling! -
They end the song, they right the wrong,
They set the old echoes calling:
For Death and Time bring on the prime
Of God's own chosen weather,
And we lie in the peace of the Great Release
As once in the grass together.

The Climate Change Converts

After eleven years as Prime Minister it does seem quite strange
That John Howard the ageing politician is talking of climate change
But this after all is an Election year
And of losing the top job is now his greatest fear.

For eleven years warnings of climate change he chose to ignore
But climate change has become an Election issue as never before
Howard the climate change convert on combating climate change now leads the way
On climate change he has become an instant expert and on it has much to say.

His opponent for the top job Kevin Rudd is a climate change convert too
It is amazing what an Election can do
To the climate change realist voters they are trying to appeal
Of climate change suddenly they make a big deal.

The ideas of the climate change experts Howard and Rudd now embrace
As their moment of truth they are about to face
The climate realist voters they are trying to appease
But try as they will not everyone they will please.

Change in Me

Why I need change?
for better or for the worst?
Any choices to change or not?

I need change when
There is an opportunity to grow and mature
Things being done the wrong way

Dealing with a world of change
I rediscover change
Change is the law of life

Those who look only
to the past or the present
Are certain to miss the future

I may change anything I want or don't want
But I can't change everything I want

My dilemma is
I hate change and
love it at the same time

Best of all
What I want is
For things to remain the same
but get better.

Lastly,
I need strong courage to change,
To master change;
Be the master of change.

Always I want change,
To get where I want to be,
Be the change I want to have.

THEY CAN'T WIN Apr 30th,2011

Those who don’t vote, think that nothing can change and they may be right,
Without plebiscites or propositions trying to be polite,
No binding referendums or proportional representation,
So why bother to be involved or vote or make a donation?

They are not allowed to vote for their prime minister by name,
Can’t have political recall and no matter what, so they can’t blame,
There are no set-date elections so no one knows the date for sure,
And the name on the ballot they can vote for, is extremely obscure.

Can’t vote for an appointed senator or Supreme Court judge,
Can’t even have these thoughts because nothing is allowed to budge,
Can’t have death with dignity because that would be a sin,
So why bother to vote because Canadians may not win?

The Prime Time Of Our Lives

It's the prime time of our lives
And I've never seen us more alive
Now that the night has finally arrived
I'm looking for some fun and to survive

Join hands with me
We'll slow down the time
We'll dance the last song
The prime time of our lives is here in this time for us now

When you reach a certain point in your life
You better push it to the extremes
And that's what we're doing
We're celebrating dreams
We're living dreams
We're creating new dreams
In the prime time of our lives

The time is now
In our choices
In what we thought
In what we bought
In what we've got
Thank god for now
It's the prime time of our lives

Life and Matter

Things seen are made of matter.
It has a beginning and an end.
In between there’s a constant change.
Beyond this lies the imperishable,
Which has no beginning nor ending,
And which travels through matter.
Life energy is a kind of energy
That runs through organisms.

New Poem for J

Poetry Still is my Love, and Song is She,

Glowing heart-bright,
Shining golden-bronze,
So close to where we started,
So long since our beginnings.

That she still loves Is my greatest wonder,
That we hold fast is my constant joy.
Sorrows and giggles,
Hugs and pains we've shared.
Dreams and fears,
Gaiety and doldrums, too.

Still we look forward,
almost always forward, never straight ;)
Times change, and Places change,
Faiths change, and Faces change,
Minds change and Lives change.
'Le plus que ca change...'

But this is unchanging: Song is my Love, and Poetry is she.

Our Elections

Our elections are political parties having a fight,
About which one of their hidden agendas might be right,
Where those with an independent thoughts are forbidden,
They have to go off in a corner and stay strictly hidden.

Can’t vote for a prime minister by name or a senator,
The establishment will do that and they say, it’s not sinister,
It’s accepted as the long established Canadian way,
And nothing can ever be changed no matter what you say,

Can’t have set-date elections because they they are not liked,
Can’t have recall or binding referendums of any type,
Why do you think more than half Canadians don’t bother to vote?
If we had binding referendums, then we could really promote?

Change! Change! Change!

change! change! change!
everybody talkin' about change.

change your look,
change your luck,
change your politics,
change your religion...

change the country,
change the world....
change the day!
change your underwear!

loose change, pocket change,
winds of change, march for change....

but all real change begins within...
let's work on that,
and then everything else
will change in turn!

How poems emerge

When passion gets settled down
Gives birth of poem and of its own
It is expression from the heart
You can term it real feeing and art

What are we discussing today?
About poor test and forceful way
What poets are writing today and chase?
Few short lines for readers to guess

First of all it has nothing to do with poems
Nothing comes in head as pure and nice themes
And even if it comes then it is very vague
All threads are to be tied and traced

It will be unnatural to think of breeze in afternoon
No ideas may creep in mind and supplement soon
When I start thinking of hot after noon
Then there may appear cool evening with bright moon

I shall observe each cool nights with changing horizon
Movement of stars and diminishing their shine for moon
I may think of giving more weightage to shining object
Thus reducing the importance of stars of their brave act

Well, poems are all about this struggle
They simply not come without trouble
They will openly clash with set themes
All earlier ideas may be lost or put into flames

I may not give up that easily for simple reason
It is natural law and so change the seasons
Why should I not change the theme from time to time?
It may click and help for the race sometimes

I have made several pages of rough preparation
They have fairly come to the help in relation
I thought poetry is not all about writing on pages
It is out come of natural thoughts coming with age

Thoughts must travel with speed of light
It must bring back all ideas in sight
Then it must flow in orderly manner at one go
In same manner as calm waters of river naturally flow

CHANGE TRUDEAU'S CHARTER May 4th,2011

To those folk in Quebec who haven’t signed the constitution yet,
Demand Trudeau’s Charter and Chretien’s law be changed and we’re set,
Then get death with dignity and a binding referendum law,
Then sit down and figure out if there are any other flaws.

Because some old sick folk need death-with-dignity like the Swiss,
But this is something our politicians are inclined to dismiss,
And we need binding referendums in order to improve,
In case there is something or someone we want to remove.

If we are going to change the Constitution we have to think,
A political party is second to a people link,
One provincial premier should be prime minister each year,
So the Quebecois or nobody else have anything to fear.

Fear Of Change

set in your ways, no one wants.
the only thing constant is change. change is the one thing we can count on because change is inevitable. fear of change hinders us as a society.
fear of change makes us imoble and unable to accept change. progression is change.

fear change only when you stop changing. whithout change we cannot go forward.

Dawn Of Reasoning Interconnected Mind

At the traditional age of consent,
I found a great undeniable love
for poetry as I strove to make sense
of this world with its nightmare,
of ignored unresolved problems.

I never had the chance to write,
most of my thoughts, down in
poetry. To reflect my reactions
to the events of my era. Life did
not allow time for contemplation.

It is my ardent hope that economic
circumstances or perhaps a more
focused determination; will allow
you to succeed in writing out more
poems of vital importance than I did.

I wrote when time allowed maybe
one in ten of my poems and often
the easiest. While years passed by
sometimes with nothing but work.
The gap in thought record haunts.

Ignore constant discouraging critic.
Your success now is mine your failure
mine. Therefore keep focused and let
at least some of your poetry, address
real issues. And write write write now!

You are in a time and place that requires
strong young poets from within. Past great
American poets would be devastating with
words writ in this era. I am not American,
you must be our voice from within, voice

proclaim and publish your insight! Pray or
meditate as you will and write that which
I lacking your knowledge cannot. The words
will come because the age topics demands it.
We are united in poetry and desire to express

difficult thoughts and concepts, hopefully to
be a voice of positive change! Tools are at
your finger tips, I never had contact with other
poets, in an electronic interconnected web of
minds, at the dawn of righteous determination.

God has no role on you

Everything is on move.
Nothing is constant.
All are subject to change.
Nothing is intact.
‘Cause and effect’ acts.
Matter turns energy;
Energy turns matter.
Nothing is lost;
Nothing is gained.

One is made of the other.
One comes off the other.
You and I are pebbles,
Beset by counter forces,
In the flow of unending rivers.
How we shape is not in our hand.
Who is to blame?
Who is to be rewarded?
The Almighty has no role
On the stage for the actors’ roll
The might of the situation prevails.

A Change Dream of All!

Education does not end schools and colleges;
It continues in life and work in the world ever!

Real education begins outside education portals,
When one comes out of educational institutions
To Nature, arts, sciences, literature and poetry!

It’s not enough to spend time in mundane things,
Day today activities which will produce monotony,
Frustration, depression and make world too much!

Each one should make use of special power within
To explore nature of things and explore truth and
Helplessness of man can be overcome by change!

A lot of drawbacks are there in everything here
Affecting society unaware without giving hope,
New thoughts, ideas and change for the better!

Innovation, novelties are needed to breathe fresh air;
Poets have important job to bring about change!

To change society individual’s attitude needs change.
Nature, arts and literature are there to give solace,
Comfort, ideas and hope to realize freedom in life!

Poetry inspires and encourages to attain freedom
And live a life of fulfilment to the full in the world!

Across The Universe

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away
Across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on
Across the universe
Thoughts meander like the restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter, shades of life are ringing through my open ears
Inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love, which shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on and on
Across the universe
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothing
Nothing
Nothing
Nothings gonna
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothing
Nothing
Nothing
Nothings gonna
Noth, nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change it
Nothings gonna change it
Hey yeah, nothings gonna change it
Nothings gonna change it
Nothings gonna change it
Nothings gonna change it
Nothings gonna change my world
Nothings gonna change it (nothings gonna change it)
Nothings gonna change it (no no no no no)
Nothings gonna change my world (nothings gonna change my world)

I Am Here To Represent My Mind

Im here to represent my mind
Why do we live inside our mind?
Never wish for the wrong
You could've had it for long

Already things happen aside
Put you off place- rocksteady decide
Long stride to get whats in need
Only chance there is to succeed

I reason with the morals of ghosts
Use my knowledge as a tool
Plauged by many worthy hosts
Anti-segregational rule

His face is shadowed
He lurches his steps
An existance perceived to the greatest of depths
Materializing thoughts
The tangible crusade
Generations develop, change and then fade

Concepts in concepts- beautiful concepts
Concepts in concepts- dutiful concepts
Uprooting concepts, relating to indepth
Making you a metaphor, exposing the real depth

Now Amongst Us

What will they do,
With beliefs no longer relevant?
What thoughts will they think...
When they had few from the start.
Concepts of realities are going to change,
So quick!
What was relied upon to defend...
Is ending a falsity 'asumed' as legitimate!
With aliens crossing borders,
And landing in backyards...
People aren't prepared for these events,
Descending and coming down upon them hard!
Too many folks are seeing UFO's...
As common as lies to them are told!
And how we all arrived on this planet...
Is about to change historic episodes,
And many will be lost to comprehend...
Left crazed in a daze to understand it!
What will they do,
With beliefs no longer relevant?
What thoughts will they think...
When they had few from the start.
Concepts of realities are going to change,
So quick!
Many will be traumatized...
To learn we are powerless,
Against those of advanced minds...
Now amongst us that have arrived to visit!
