Heart Beats Splay Measured
in the span
of fingers outstretched
intensity of heart beats
is splay measured
memories in soul union
to haunt outlast
separation years endured

This heart beats
This heart beats,
only cause of you
This heart beats,
just to know its true
This heart beats,
like a love i cant control
This heart beats,
to let everybody know
This heart beats,
when i see your smile
This heart beats,
just before i dial
This heart beats,
i hope you feel the same
This heart beats,
cause my heart is where i write your name

A Cry Yet Remains Behind
You went across the seven seas,
It seems as if several centuries have elapsed.
The seasons of union came and went away,
But all tired, exhausted.
Behind you I became a victim of daggering tongues,
The relations also made me feeble and frail,
The long dark nights of separation
Made me powerless too.
The wounds of experience were dungeon deep,
No physician could heal, restore them back.
There had been hefty spectacles of a dream,
When it broke nothing was beside;
It had been better we should not have survived,
Our existence did not match our beings.
Ask me not what happened in this episode,
What listened to and what I endured,
Founts of water gurgled from the eyes for several years;
The walls of breast even now often quake,
It seems as if they are saying,
“Peep into the inner part of your Self
A cry yet remains behind to be uttered.”

My Heart Beats
Mind thinks, Heart feels and the Heart Beats,
Heart Beats, When it finds its soulmate.
Souls meet eachother, when we meet eachother
We meet, we think, we feel and the Heart Beats.
My heart beats,
And your heart beats are one
It is one, because our heart beats are one
It beats for eachother into our hearts,
Through our hearts and for our hearts,
Which beats for eachother.
My heart beats, when we meet,
It draws us near, to make us
Apart for ever, and leaves us isolated
Forever, and to meet never or ever.

Killing Myself....
So many people in my life have died,
they have taken their own lives...we cried.
I stumble around in my mind,
depth...
I'm trying to find.
So many things to be overcame,
no..not me to blame.
To find the depth of what people think,
to let my heart,
sink......
I know that people will suffer if I die,
all I can do is cry.....
but when life is put in my face,
even though...
a disgrace..
I wonder, what would I miss...
years go on,
some...with sweetness.
My life is hard right now..
always putting one foot in front of the other....
I think of my friends that lean on me,
the doubt, the worry....
So instead of going away from the life I dread,
I AM GOING TO PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER....instead!
I hate u...memories that haunt....
go ahead,
you can taught,
I know its my soul you want....
BUT FOR ME...I CAN NEVER HAUNT! ! ! ! !
Although I'm weak right now...
no future...
without no how....
To My Destiny...I bow! ! ! ! ! !
Its only me
Its Only Me
Its only me
An echo
A whisper
A heartbeat
A memory in your past
Inside
Inside your mind ill linger forever
Waiting there for years to come
All those long years
Just waiting
I may be gone from you in waking life
But my soul will haunt you forever
Its my memory as well
And your soul will haunt me to
Secret memories and thoughts
Hidden in secret places
Ill be here forever
Just waiting
Like a rose
That crumbles in death
But is remembered forever
As my love for you
Now my love is nothing
But
An echo
A whisper
A heartbeat
A memory in your past
Its only me

Memories of mother
Mothers Day always trips sadness
in me since her death years ago;
impelling a circuitous
journey of memories that flow
within a stream of consciousness
always the same, unabated.
It's queer how an act of congress
can regress a mind effected
in such a way as to cause tears.
I guess stranger things have happened
and will happen over the years.
Though measured in nanoseconds
these yearly memories of her
are all that remains of mother.

When They Told Me He's Gone
When they told me he's gone!
Inside me storms begun to cry
Ah, passing time!
You always steal
away the same way!
Till the day
whatever you've stole from me
Never brought them back to me!
My most precious ones
Those who's heart
beats with mine were
always one
My laughter
My most valuable
years
Those who were so
dear
Ah. passing time!
You always hurt the same!
How many hurts are hidden there yet!
Once again you made my eyes tear
May never i'll meet his eyes again
And who knows what tomorrow brings?
Years are rolling down so fast
Just breathe away and life ends
While still I keep inside the memories of the past
All those memories are figured out here
The first time I met his eyes
His first glance
Our first dance
We were cradling upon angels wings
Over there in the paradise
Away from earthly eyes
With every breathe of love desires
Butterflies inside me gladly flied
When first time I met his eyes
Yet still I have inside
The memory of his touch
And my heart beats still howling sullen vain
The longing of his love still crying woes
While in his heart our love has became just a history
Ah, somehow an old memory?
Yet for me his memories still surviving right here
Still so clear
Every while and while they rurvive
They're always near
They're always dear
In the depth of my heart they've got tired of waiting
My love has got tired!
When they told me he's gone
While inside me gauzy storms began moaing dreary dirges
Still rending vainy surges
Yet, with them our memories are crying pale!
Every seed of love that from him was left behind
With memories shivering cried wreck
When they told me that he's gone away

Wedding Song
Ive been having dreams and visions
In them you are always standing
Right beside me
I reach out for your hand
To see your arms extending
Outstretched towards me
For you I don the veil
By your light
Others pale by comparison
I place my faith in love
My fate in this communication
Ive been having dreams and visions
In them you are always standing
Right beside me
I reach out for your hand
To see your arms extending
Outstretched towards me
To you I give my pledge
I honor all thats good
In this life were living
To think not only of myself
But of the greater union
Can I get a witness
There is salvation and rapture for the lonely
Can I get a witness
Bless this day sacred and holy
Sacred and holy
Ive been having dreams and visions
In them you are always standing
Right beside me
I reach out for your hand
To see your arms extending
Outstretched towards me
With you I am revealed
All my shame all my faults and virtues
Behold body mind and spirit
Heart and soul devoted all to you
Can I get a witness
Bless this day sacred and holy
Sacred and holy

A Kiss Goodbye
My heart beats
As I watch the moonbeams
Dance in the midnight breeze
I smile softly as I recall a time
When soft words of love
Where spoken sweetly to my ear
As we watched together
Moonbeams dance
So many years ago
My eyes mist over
As I recall his gentle touch
As he caressed my cheeks
Just to make me smile
As he said with each smile
It took his breath away
The shivers of memories
Warm my hungry soul
As he held me gently in his arm
Each time after we made love
And whispered softly
Just how much he loved me so
The collection of memories
I hold close to my heart
Must now be placed
In my treasure trove of memory's
So that I can love again
I blow a kiss into the
Midnight breeze
And whisper we will meet again
And smile to myself
You will always be a part of my soul
Now and evermore
Good night and goodbye
You're always in my heart

Living in the Heart's Memory
A gentle touch upon the forearm
with a hand, gloved or warm with life,
outside the church door;
turning away from the open grave;
by that concrete place
where they lay the floral tributes
by the cemetery chapel;
or later, as you hand the food around;
a gentle touch upon the forearm
or a hand sought for to squeeze and hold; or
man to man, they favour a shoulder briefly gripped,
as if that’s the pressure point
where empathetic camaraderie should be applied;
the single sentence of consolation,
sometimes so well rehearsed, it comes out awkwardly –
‘she’ll be much missed…’
‘you have so many memories…’
‘he’ll always be there in our hearts…’
‘if there’s anything…’
they’ve been through this, themselves,
or fear the time they shall –
…‘words must be said,
but yet there are no words for this;
accept then, these few words
in lieu of that deep silence
which is itself in lieu of words…’
* * *
measured, immutable, as precise
as any equation of the calculated world,
the heart’s memories:
every moment that our heart in many years
opened to them, the heart has stored.
We know the mind can span the imagined world –
from travel brochures to the thought of heaven;
yet we forget that greater still, the heart is vast –
there’s all the room for them to live on there,
sustained by every moment of love freely given; for
the whole creation is one single act of love.

A Pair of Fractured Hearts
A pair of fractured hearts stand
near the corner of regret.
Each with their arms outstretched
ready to take another bet.
That the next heart they meet
will hold the intensity of love they need.
Too many long nights
with pillows stained in tears,
now they wait with beckoning arms
trying to forget their worst fears.
Each needs a loving heart
to fill their soul with warmth.
And so they wait
these pair of fractured hearts
near the corner of regret.

Eve- Song
I span and Eve span
A thread to bind the heart of man;
But the heart of man was a wandering thing
That came and went with little to bring:
Nothing he minded what we made,
As here he loitered, and there he stayed.
I span and Eve span
A thread to bind the heart of man;
But the more we span the more we found
It wasn't his heart but ours we bound.
For children gathered about our knees:
The thread was a chain that stole our ease.
And one of us learned in our children's eyes
That more than man was love and prize.
But deep in the heart of one of us lay
A root of loss and hidden dismay.
He said he was strong. He had no strength
But that which comes of breadth and length.
He said he was fond. But his fondness proved
The flame of an hour when he was moved.
He said he was true. His truth was but
A door that winds could open and shut.
And yet, and yet, as he came back,
Wandering in from the outward track,
We held our arms, and gave him our breast,
As a pillowing place for his head to rest.
I span and Eve span,
A thread to bind the heart of man!

This Love This Heart
This love, this heart, these arms to hold
So tight to you, I wont let go
Can this be real, or just some dream that feels so true
I wish you love, I wish you more
You are all that I live for
Ill never hurt you believe me
My heart beats just for you
It only beats for you
Ill keep the fire alight for you
Cant think of nothing else, what can I do
This lonely heart of mine, it only beats for you
It only beats for you
You bring me peace, you make me smile
You give me strength and all the while
You ask for nothing, only love
And my heart beats just for you
It only beats for you
Id say all these things to you
If you were here, but thats not gonna be
Cos you re not here at all
Theres only me
But I wont stop trying
I wont give up, Ill wait for you
til you come back, its all I can do
Ill be right here, Im going nowhere without you
Give me the chance, just make the call
Just say the words, Im waiting for
Just let this heart of mine show you
It only beats for you
Yes it only beats for you
It only beats for you
This love, this heart
These arms, theyre only for you
This love, this heart
These arms, theyre only for you
Theyre only for you

Numbers
Two more days as haze on Time's horizon
divides my world from total change to come.
Two boys play as Fate Time's separation
prepares, as smiles exchanged shall soon fall dumb.
Eight hundred miles, as crow can be relied on
to fly the distance cutting two from one,
seven hour sandwich slice time to be cried on
as isolating father from each son.
Four years span a double generation,
though no tears run from troubled heart undone.
Fifty years trip towards degeneration
as two hands write wry rhyme upon Time's drum.

Who Then Is Like Our God?
Who has measured out the waters
In the hollow of His hand?
Who has measured out the heavens
And measured them with a span?
Who created every star
And knows them all by name?
Who has knelt down at His feet
And still remained the same?
Who then is like our God
Who is brighter than the sun?
Who is Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Who is three but who is one
Lift up your eyes on high
And see the glory of our King
See the heavenly choirs of angels
Lift their voice to Him and sing
Man's own strength it has an end
And even young men fall
But those who wait upon the Lord
Shall hear the Master's call
Rise up, rise up ye weary saint!
And fly where eagle's fly
You will run and shall not faint
You shall soar into the sky

Precious Memories
Those precious memories hidden deep down in my soul
Waiting for those memories to come clear to me and possibly unfold
It is so hard for me to remember my loving father and mother over the years
It hurts me so hard to try to remember my childhood scenes of them because it rarely appears
Those tearful, but precious memories flood deep inside of my heart
I only wish I could remember those precious memories, but they have started to fade and fall apart
Oh, it is hard to remember what was on my life's pathways, I fear that they never will be retold
But I know that those precious memories are still hidden somewhere down within in my soul

Exile
By the sad waters of separation
Where we have wandered by divers ways,
I have but the shadow and imitation
Of the old memorial days.
In music I have no consolation,
No roses are pale enough for me;
The sound of the waters of separation
Surpasseth roses and melody.
By the sad waters of separation
Dimly I hear from an hidden place
The sigh of mine ancient adoration:
Hardly can I remember your face.
If you be dead, no proclamation
Sprang to me over the waste, gray sea:
Living, the waters of separation
Sever for ever your soul from me.
No man knoweth our desolation;
Memory pales of the old delight;
While the sad waters of separation
Bear us on to the ultimate night.

Holding On
Lay your head upon my breast.
Hear the beats of my heart.
Do you hear them skipping beats?
Do you know what tears me apart?
Tis the thought that when you leave my breast
I will feel the cold.
And so I hold on tight to your head
as if it were made of gold.
But it far surpasses that precious metal
for its value can't be measured.
For it holds your eyes, your mouth and smile
which will always be treasured
by me.

Charvaka [a philosopher]
One’s life span is not by number of heart-beats
but by happy moments of the heart’s throbs.

there are things that
do not last, wood,
what with termites,
and metal, what with
the salt and the
sea that gives us
more memories,
yes, memories too
same thing with love
unrequited, pain, same
manner with temporary
joys, success, same thing
with failures....
ah, nothing lasts forever,
something that still comes
may outlast
us...
