Dancing Shadow Puppets
love shadow puppet characters
so detailed in precise expressions
such intricate detailed colours
all disappears in screen shadows
adding such exceptional character
to drama acted out conversations

Prepared
If I took a topic and expounded upon it,
With a research that has been detailed...
Why would anyone become offended,
If what I had chosen to discuss...
Was intended to eliminate distrust,
And the corrupted misuse...
Of someone's honesty clearly abused,
With a trampling on it as if an obligation.
'We are only here to make a choice,
From those submitted topics.
You have come too well prepared...
With a doing that is detailed.
And frankly,
We have never been ready for that.
And the act of what you have done,
Can and does offend.'

Strict It Gets
To challenge oneself,
Isn't fun that's done.
Because,
The critic visits.
And strict it gets.
To challenge oneself,
Isn't fun that's done.
Because,
The critic visits.
And strict it gets.
Stalking as a menace,
Looking for perfection in it.
And...
The critic vists.
And strict it gets.
Stalking as a menace,
Looking for perfection in it.
And...
The critic vists.
And strict it gets.
Picking seeking detail...
To prevail,
And...
The critic visits.
And strict it gets.
Detailed...
The critic visits.
And strict it gets.
Stalking as a menace,
Looking for perfection in it.
And...
The critic vists.
And strict it gets.
To challenge oneself,
Isn't fun that's done.
Because,
The critic visits.
And strict it gets.

Idlewave
They did well in sexual and crystallographic earth,
with their expressions and dialects ad hoc.
'be your own shit'
'never piss into the wind'
it is a light conversation we hash, intensified by drums
startled then trampled by a thirty key detailed roll in the hay,
its the type of motion, its tidal wave from a role in the bay but now its a darker wave or as he asked disaster?

Madonna portrait
I saw you painting,
not a sideways glance
of a elephant head
with deep creases showing,
or the neck of a giraffe,
not a Tuscan scene
with tables with white table clothes,
neither an abstract scene
in blue, green and gold.
A portrait unfolded before my eyes,
not a half naked nymph,
or wood fairy
but a Madonna without child
pregnant and serene
looking utterly holy
with olive skin
and great big innocent eyes
against dark colours
in a ruby red cloak.
Your fingers mixed colours expertly
on the palette
to the right exact hue
and blazing lights
lit the canvas
on the easel
and the painting
became an old world masterpiece
with stroke after little stroke
adding depth and meaning
and somewhere in the distance
a midnight-black dragon appeared
with a open mouth
as if drawing nearer
truly alive
detailed to the smallest respect
and evil in every way.

In Mind Spaces Where We Live
sometimes in intensity
focused moments
in mind spaces
where we live...
we say
what we
are doing
as an answer...
rather than how
we are
how we feel
sometimes in intensity
concentrated thoughts
absorption rates
are source only...
precise precision
accurate adequate
indicators of mood
talent feeling personality...
effort is how we feel
detailed analysis synthesis
we feel what we do

I try to be quite a detailed actor. People were really picking up on that. Even if it was just a flicker of the eye or something, they got it.

Movie Memories
Holding hands at the movies
waiting for the lights to dim.
Anticipating the characters on the screen
but thinking of only him.
The one beside you, not on the screen.
His arm now on your shoulder.
You feel the length of his arm.
He becomes a little bit bolder.
You see the characters on the screen.
All are playing their part.
You forget the name of the movie
but not what's happening to your heart.
The lights come on all too soon
but not before he kisses you.
Great to be a teen-ager.
Sorry, the movie is through.

Keeping Dates And Times
What do you mean,
I never listen to you?
I'm always listening to you.
In fact...
Some of the most memorable conversations,
You have initiated.
'But...
Why do you interrupt me so often? '
Wait a minute.
The only time I do not interrupt you,
Is when you have something brilliant to say.
So don't sit here trying to convince me...
Or yourself,
I do not pay you any attention.
You have no idea how much I do!
'When was the last time you thought I said anything,
That was brilliant? '
Are we going to have a conversation or not?
Now you want to test my history knowledge.
You know I don't do well with dates.
Or things that have happened in the past.
I just know these things have happened.
Keeping dates and times in my mind...?
I'm not into that.
That's just too detailed and time consuming.
