Live today not as yesterday, or as if there's no tomorow, but live today as today. Because yesterday was the past which you shall not dwell in, and tomorrow is the future which we have no control over. but live today as today, I say at this very moment. So we won't make the same mistakes we made yesterday, And that we won't let today or yesterday jeopardize our future. So I say live today as today, cause it is just another lesson learned. Has Anyone Got The Time
Dreams live far in the future,
Memories dwell back in the past,
The only time that is real,
Is now, and it surely won't last,
This is the moment to live,
The only time that is true,
All other times are irrelevant,
Now is the time to be you.
The time to enjoy, is here now,
Because "now", will not happen again,
This time is unique and un-charted,
So make happy the memories that remain.
You may plan for the future you wish,
You may save, and prepare, even steer,
But the future is coming; you can't change it,
Re-arrange it, or stop it, or veer.
On arrival, it's "now"; you must live it,

The time is racing my past behind me

My past in front,
My future behind,
I wasn't thinking of my future,
I was back in my past.
But now this is my story! ! ! !
A mother who did not love me,
A sister a brother trying to comfort me,
I felt all alone

But no more

The one who should have lived has gone so fast.
The old ones, in their dotage, linger on –
they, with no future, live only in the past.
And we who can but sit, dumb and aghast,
scarcely believe that while the sun still shone
the one who should have lived has gone so fast.
Six decades older, surviving to their last
few days or years, together but alone,
they, with no future, live only in the past.
At least she kept on living to the last,
but should have had a future. She has none.
The one who should have lived has gone so fast,
and they, for whom so many years have passed,
are unaware that one they loved is gone.

Whether of present or past

The time that you portray

Who knows about the future? Who knows what we'll find?
What good and bad things are in store by chance or design?
What can be done today to alter the future's course?
If truth be known you alone rule effects of its force.
Today at work or play only the present exists.
A wise world has no room for a past-present-future tryst.
Each future hour, joyful or dour, will never arrive.
The future will be the future as long as you're alive

We Can Only Live In The Here And Now
We cannot live in the future the future of us is ahead
And the past has gone forever though memories of it are not dead
We can only live in the here and now though the clock keeps ticking on
And the future we don't know about and the past forever gone
Some say we receive from life from life what is our due
Though many fall victim of bad circumstance so happens to be true
And though some will also tell you hard times are not meant to last
Those who do not have a future are those who have had a tragic past
