Earthquake
We just had long long shakes
Magnitude (only) 4, the tv said
But at the south they had it hard
As big as 8.4!
Earthquake stopped but I'm still shaking, aah! !
Alone, trying to remember what to do
If there is hate inside my heart
sure to be for that:
I HATE EARTHQUAKES! !
Relax! have to stop my shake?
I am ok, husband and daughter too
I have to stop my shake and pray
To think of others
For lives not to be lost
Please people of Japan!
Quick! To a safe place
In time to get
Away from the tsunami waves!
Tv says will be 6m high!
I am ok, still shake a bit, but pray
For ones who had it hard!
Please! All Gods of all worlds!
Take anything you want
Just don't let people die!
I wrote this minutes after the earthquake, trying to relax, (I am alway scared of earthquakes) when I cliked go, found out the internet was gone and so the phone, but so far this was the only trouble that we had.
..How could anybody guess what happened? So many people gone.. Why? ! ! We had tsunami warnings! !
Now, like the whole world, I watch results of pain and rivers of tears I let run but only when alone.. when people are around I smile and say: It's going to be ok..

Trusting In Protective Modern Sea Walls
modern Japan trusting in God science
trusting in protective modern sea walls
but modern sea walls too low are built
built to height of smaller 1960 tsunami
walls failed to protect new coastal towns
in Japan's destructive recent huge tsunami
sweeping way communities once built right
to sea water's edge trusting in sea walls built
designed built after deadly small 1960 tsunami
ignoring hundreds of ancient tsunami markers
stone tsunami warnings hundreds dot coastline
'If an earthquake comes, beware of tsunamis'
modern Japan this time heed ancient wisdom
ancestors in earlier generations left warnings
'Octopus Grounds' are places sea life washed
up by tsunami gives warnings naming temples
after powerful tsunami waves gives warnings
stone markers warned of danger to coastal lives
'Always be prepared for unexpected tsunamis.
Choose life over your possessions and valuables.'
people trusting in protective modern sea walls
did not listen after earthquake people went back
to their homes to collect valuables all got caught
in choosing possessions riches lives were lost

New Zealand
An earthquake struck New Zealand's city of Christchurch on Tuesday
Burying vehicles under debris and collapsing buildings into the streets.
Police announced a curfew and city was shut down on Wednesday,
Rescuers scrambled to reach beneath the rubble the residents.
The quake devastating the spire of the Cathedraland is a real tale.
The buildings had collapsed and the people were trapped inside.
All around the city, this powerful earthquake strangely bent some rails, Moreover, it toppled the tall buildings and seventy five people died.
The earthquake combination of distance and depth was so deadly,
Streets were strewn with concrete and people were stuck in towers.
Firefighters climbed ladders to pluck people from roofs to safety.
Buildings have gone because aftershocks hit the city within two hours.
Pre-World War buildings were damaged by the quake on September,
People wandered through streets strewn with debris and concrete.
The further damage was caused by a strong aftershock in December.
Now there is a real carnage with bodies littering the streets..
The women went into premature labor and the city was in agony.
The airport was shut down, in ruins the people began to groan,
Every child has been walking home trying to find the lost family.
The city were suffering cuts to the water supply and the phone.
A thirty million tone block of ice sheared off a glacier of New Zealand
After the earthquake had devastated the city groping it into Dark.
The iceberg crashed into a lake had rocked the South Island
Ripping off the Tasman Glacier at Aoraki Mount Cook National Park.

Java's Ghost Nuclear Reactors
live on the island of Java
one of the most densely
populated places on earth
in a suburb on the edge of
Bintaro next to Tangerang
regency over 2.6 million
a few million people in
our suburbs outside Jakarta
a paradox merge mega city
seven districts Ciputat,
Ciputat Timur, Serpong,
Serpong Utara, Pamulang,
Pondok Aren, and Setu
with a total population
of 1.2 million scattered
near my home form part
of Tangerang regency just
a few of many suburbs of
South Tangerang 26 districts
rezoned was 36 districts
3.4 million people in 2009
just one side to a mega city
about 15 k from the nearest
nuclear reactor there are
another two one over an
hour away by car in Bundung
the city my wife's parents
come from here but they
live in a suburb of Jakarta
called Cijantung in East
Jakarta close to city Bogor
on the way to Bundung the
other nuclear reactor is in
Jogakarta big cities suck up
power Jakarta the big durian

but my house is quiet the law
is elastic so like a local here I
usually never wear a motorcycle
helmet within 5 or 10 kilometres
from home unless riding to
nearby Serpong four on the
bike two adults two children
Indonesian style because this
is normal in these our suburbs
but this city in Indonesia kills
over 1500 on the roads yearly
motorbikes hitting potholes in
the road monthly can hit over
30 dead in a single bad pot holed
month but out here we avoid all
smoke-belching three-wheeled
vehicles stinging eyes throats in
hours of snarl traffic or gridlock
a happy man here lives five minutes
from work not two or three hours
of traffic conflict away so worry
over run down reactors does not exit
locals do not even know they are there

One Stone Marker Of Ancient Legend

one stone marker of ancient legend
warned of tsunami danger fables
'Always be prepared for unexpected tsunamis.
Choose life over your possessions and valuables.'
generations believe not unseen with own eyes
Tetsuko Takahashi seventy safe in her family
hillside house watched from her front
window fate of neighbours who had ignored
carved in stone tsunami wave warnings
Tetsuko Takahashi saw a ship swept
like a lost toy a half-mile helpless inland
crushing in path buildings family homes
her family lived in Kesennuma for generations
devastation now seen her legend eyes record

Earthquake at Indian Ocean..
The sudden movement down the buttocks,
very unusual, but scary to jerk up,
if earth rocks wild in Indonesia,
sometimes we feel mild in Malaysia,
Watching the news gives no clue,
a message through sms,
from the man in an important meeting,
'tremor felt in Penang',
the pearl of orient,
heart stops a minute,
searching for the buttons,
in the phone,
shaking hands fail to cooperate,
trembling legs hesitate to move,
relatives in southern India, chennai,
Tsunami hit Nagapattinam,
called everyone to check,
and found the mother ocean,
has become calm, though not sure,
Then, then only think of people,
who are in the area,
where earthquake actually hit,
Then only start to pray,
O God! please save the people,
wherever they are!
whoever they are!

are repeated target of earthquakes tsunamis

The Earth Shook And The Sea Roared
It reached 8.9 on the Richter scale
and the hearts of men began to fail.
They predicted a huge Tsunami
a great tidal wave rising from the sea.
As the gruesome images were displayed
all across the world many people prayed
and for hours waited with baited breath
for the great onslaught that would lead to death.
Watching and waiting for the wave to break
leaving mass destruction in its wake
it moved on to where Matthew was based
a small island that in its path was placed.
We stood in awe and waited as we prayed
hoping God's great mercy would be displayed.
Then He caused the Tsunami to subside
for many thousands more would have died.
The earth may shake and mighty waves roar
but He that inhabits the heavens saw
the earthquake that began in Japan
and reached down to help the plight of man.
Praise God for His favour and His grace
so freely bestowed upon the human race.
Praise Him for His great salvation
lavished on every tribe and nation.

Tsunami In Japan,2011
My daughter’s hand had slipped away!
My hand was empty in a trice;
Sea-water took her in a flash;
It happened all so suddenly!
There was no time to think or act;
The water toppled houses, roads;
Cars, ships and planes were found afloat;
Nothing could stop the sea invade!
I woke to find that I’m alive!
No more was my daughter with me;
Oh, what terrible tragedy!
Was living thus, worthy for me?
All land was under sea-water!
Most houses were mere planks of wood;
The muddy rubble filled the place;
Just corpses, carcasses met us.
Was it a dream of horror then?
No, it was all reality!
The sea ravaged the coastal land;
The city was erased from the map!
A Tsunami had struck Japan!
It was the worst over decades;
The toll of lives was rising high!
Did God forsake and abandon?
I had been saved by miracle;
The Tsunami came despite God?
Why Nature’s fury hit mankind?
Yes, none can tell and none will ev’r!
‘May all souls lost, rest in peace!
May the quake and Tsunami cease! ’

Remembering Tsunami
It was the day
when they could do nothing
but watch
as their loved ones
and their homes
were taken away
from them
by the tsunami.
It was the day
of nightmare
that left them
so much pain
that even time
could certainly
never make them
forget.
The day of tsunami
let's all not forget
and let's make that day
a reminder
for each and everyone of us
to make each moment
of being with our loved ones
a precious one.
To the survivors
I deeply bow my head
with respect and admiration
to your courage and strength
doing your best
to overcome all your pains
and sufferings.
And,
for the departed
is my prayer
for their eternal peace.

The mud volcano Lusi
The world's largest mud dome, also called the mud volcano,
Is located in Sidoarjo, a regency in Indonesia and it is very active
It had erupted also on twenty nine May, only five years ago
Now it gushes forty Olympic pools each day being very emissive.
A mud dome emits helium, nitrogen, usually belches of flammable gas
Through a deepening lake of hydrocarbon fluids, acid water and sludge.
The temperature is as low as the freezing point for its fast-moving mass
It's associated with petroleum deposits looking like dark brown smudges.
The creeks transport amounts of sediment to rivers which flow into the ocean.
This time the Indonesian volcano displaced thirteen thousand families.
For saving their lives they had to leave their home being forced to run
They needed to escape, because the volcano showed an increased activity.
This volcano eruption will dropp to a manageable level in twenty six years,
And Lusi will continue to gush gray mud until it will turn into a bubbling volcano,
And the processes erosion will begin to bevel the mountain but until that the tears
Of people will not stop for those who were killed after Lusi erupted five years ago.
All these years the volcano Lusi, situated in Sidoarjo regency, East Java
Can become highly destructive, even it can sweep up almost everything
Even it is likely to gush gray cold or hot mud instead of usual lava
Thousands of people living there can die or live without saving anything.
Lusi's staying power and its lake of mud has now smothered twelve villages
To an incredible depth of up to fifty feet and just in the middle of this new lake
There is one hundred and sixty four feet real vent and it is not a mirage.
Even it wasn't specified this time that Yogyakarta was hit by another nearby earthquake.
The cause of the volcanic eruption which occurred five years ago was debatable.
Maybe an earthquake caused it, or maybe it was due to drilling a well in the zone.
The Indonesian government blamed the eruption on an earthquake which is contestable
Foreign experts said Lapindo Brantas didn't use the protective casing for its section.
Mud and gas accumulates when sea sediments are trapped in subduction zones.
The mud eruption is a hybrid between typical mud volcanoes and hydrothermal vents.
So, one tectonic plate slides under another, and can erupt out of volcanic cones
From a crack in the ground and this way mud volcanoes have burst on all continents.
Sixty six years ago an earthquake in Pakistan generated a tsunami very destructive
And caused the eruption of a mud volcano on the Makran Coast, in the Sindh region,
Which formed four islands, and everyone could see its gas flames while it was active
And could know about the petroleum deposits, methane, ethane and other hydrocarbons.
