Last Lines On A Catastrophe....
every day is a challenge,
if not a tsunami
then an aftershock of an
earthquake of
varying magnitudes
look, there is a meltdown
come quickly
pack up and leave!

Meltdown
(young - young)
I look at my watch to find out the right time of the day
I look at her libido hey hey hey
I gotta get up and climb her, to roll her on the hay
Makin a sweat, temperature rise all through the day
Man its getting hot hot hot
I said man its getting hot hot hot
Its getting hotter and hotter
Man its getting hot hot
Getting hot around here
Its a meltdown
Its a meltdown
I got a feelin in my bones
I been rackin my brains out all night long
Stokin up the fire take it right up to the wire
Burnin on and on burnin on
Man its getting hot hot hot
I said man its getting hot hot hot
Its getting hotter and hotter
Man its getting hot hot
Getting hot around here
Its a meltdown
Its a meltdown
Its a meltdown
Its a meltdown
Meltdown
Man its getting hot hot hot
I said man its getting hot hot hot
Its getting hotter and hotter
And hotter and hotter
Its a meltdown, its a meltdown
Its a meltdown, its a meltdown
Its a meltdown, gonna burn, its a meltdown
I said burn down
Its a meltdown, meltdown, meltdown
Its a meltdown, its a meltdown

Trusting In Protective Modern Sea Walls
modern Japan trusting in God science
trusting in protective modern sea walls
but modern sea walls too low are built
built to height of smaller 1960 tsunami
walls failed to protect new coastal towns
in Japan's destructive recent huge tsunami
sweeping way communities once built right
to sea water's edge trusting in sea walls built
designed built after deadly small 1960 tsunami
ignoring hundreds of ancient tsunami markers
stone tsunami warnings hundreds dot coastline
'If an earthquake comes, beware of tsunamis'
modern Japan this time heed ancient wisdom
ancestors in earlier generations left warnings
'Octopus Grounds' are places sea life washed
up by tsunami gives warnings naming temples
after powerful tsunami waves gives warnings
stone markers warned of danger to coastal lives
'Always be prepared for unexpected tsunamis.
Choose life over your possessions and valuables.'
people trusting in protective modern sea walls
did not listen after earthquake people went back
to their homes to collect valuables all got caught
in choosing possessions riches lives were lost

Natural Selection for Friend Thad
I am a male an alpha plus.
My only purpose is to breed,
to sow the seeds of genius.
So that my offspring will succeed.
I am the leader of the pack.
No one is fit to take my place.
I have the wisdom which they lack.
I am the wolf who sets the pace.
We work together as a team
but I direct the strategy
I have the wit to plan and scheme
The other wolves defer to me.
That is the way it has to be
As long as I am best I’ll lead.
Some day some pup will challenge me
and hopefully he will succeed..
I am a male an alpha plus
but even alpha males grow old.
In nature it was ever thus
The leadership goes to the bold.
I’m not the wolf I used to be.
I’ve had my time now I must leave.
The pack goes on triumphantly
just as it should do I believe..
To lead the pack a privilege
that’s only open to a few.
Who have the strength and the knowledge
to rule the pack as they must do.
A pack that lacks strong leadership
will very quickly succumb to
lack of direction and hardship.
A leader must know what to do.
But also know he must give way.
To new leader in due course
He’s played the part he had to play
a law that nature will enforce.
Only the best is fit to lead
life is a struggle to survive.
Though a strong leader will succeed
ensuring that his pack will live.
Though leaders come and leaders go.
The pack remains an entity
Since time began it has been so
and will for ever seemingly.

Aftershock
I dont care about the way that ya treated me
And I aint crying bout the love Im paying for
No I aint bitchin bout the things
You puttin down here in the streets
No, I aint going round saying things
About you I cant repeat
Hey, it aint gonna change overnight
No
And it aint goin away without a fight
No
Now I aint saying that Im never
Gonna beg you, oh baby come back
But right now now, baby
I dont really want to see your face
Yeah, and thats a fact
Right now, honey
All I know is what Im feeling inside
Right now, baby
Im all alone and Im swallowing a lot of pride
And it aint gonna change overnight
No
And it aint goin away without a fight
Living with the aftershock
Why, why, why, I never thought
Shed walk
But now Im living with the aftershock
And if it aint gonna change
It aint goin away, no
Yeah, she opened up my eyes
Seeing what I wanna see
She kinda took me by surprise
Showed me what I hadnt seen, yeah, yeah
Living with the aftershock
Yeah, yeah, living with the aftershock
My, my,my, I guess that I never thought shed walk
Living with the aftershock
And it aint gonna change
It aint goin away
I said it aint gonna change without a fight
Im living with the aftershock
Im living with the aftershock
Never gonna change

Implications Of Fukushima Nuclear Disaster
radiation not lost
upon an entire ocean
ocean can no longer
separate sovereign nations
from massive meltdowns
at nuclear power plants
key is prevailing wind

ruining day week year
ruining happy party plans
radiation might blow
into quiet neighbourhood

Earthquake
We just had long long shakes
Magnitude (only) 4, the tv said
But at the south they had it hard
As big as 8.4!
Earthquake stopped but I'm still shaking, aah! !
Alone, trying to remember what to do
If there is hate inside my heart
sure to be for that:
I HATE EARTHQUAKES! !
Relax! have to stop my shake?
I am ok, husband and daughter too
I have to stop my shake and pray
To think of others
For lives not to be lost
Please people of Japan!
Quick! To a safe place
In time to get
Away from the tsunami waves!
Tv says will be 6m high!
I am ok, still shake a bit, but pray
For ones who had it hard!
Please! All Gods of all worlds!
Take anything you want
Just don't let people die!
I wrote this minutes after the earthquake, trying to relax, (I am alway scared of earthquakes) when I cliked go, found out the internet was gone and so the phone, but so far this was the only trouble that we had.
..How could anybody guess what happened? So many people gone.. Why? ! ! We had tsunami warnings! !
Now, like the whole world, I watch results of pain and rivers of tears I let run but only when alone.. when people are around I smile and say: It's going to be ok..

When The Earth Moved
the earth moved I noticed not
the earth moved I cared not
this earthquake was so far away
Aceh Indonesia is a long way
from our house a different island
Aceh Indonesia is on Sumatera Island
Bintaro outside Jakarta on Java Island
no tsunami in Aceh this time none died
earthquake tsunami warning people cried
earthquake same place scale no one died? ? ?
the earth moved I noticed not
the earth moved I cared not

body ached brain was scrambled

extreme dieting
excessive sleeping
pale introspection
when earth moved
it left me unmoved
except in sympathy;
for those in fear pain
suffering material loss
worse physical wounds;
the loss of loved ones
cycles of suffering
have many causes;
sources of healing
too few thus
in our friends
loved ones
are we most

Metal Meltdown
Something's calling
In the night
Electric madness
Roars in sight
Heat is rising
Blazing fast
Hot and evil
Feel the blast
Out of control
About to explode
It's coming at ya
Here comes the Metal Meltdown
Run for your lives
Can't stop the Metal Meltdown
No-one survives
Raging fury
Wired for sound
Nitro bombshell
Shakes the ground
High and mighty
Rips the air
Piercing lazer
Burning glaze
Out of control
About to explode
It's coming at ya
Here comes the Metal Meltdown
Run for your lives
Can't stop the Metal Meltdown
No-one survives
Temperature is boiling
Magnifying might
Feeding like a virus
Flashing light
I'mminent collision
Shockwaves all around
Generating energy
Screams so loud
It's comin' - Meltdown
Start runnin' - Countdown

Challenge
Something obsessed...
That has to be possessed.
And It can not be obtained too easily,
Or it will quickly be left like the rest!
It has to be tested
To ensure it's complex.
There has to be a struggle to get it...
Or it becomes a challenge,
Considered not the best one done
To test and satisfy as one can get!
These things are tricky to predict and forget!
But when a challenge comes...
And there's possible fun attached,
That's the one that traps!
And one enjoys!
Be about 'your' business...
And the challenge you choose,
Will be the one you can say you've won!
With no inner 'blues' to share with anyone.

Because I Know I Can
How can I do it?
Because I know that I can!
I wasn't the one to say I could...
If I wasn't willing to understand.
Embarrassments I withstood.
That did not keep me,
From the challenge at hand.
I wanted this task,
To challenge myself.
I am not one,
To say I will do something.
And then sit and wait...
For an earthquake to shake,
The land before I make a stand!
How can I do it?
Because I know that I can!
I am not the one to say I could...
If I am not willing to be that man,
To do a task I did not understand.

Ancient Wisdom Based Upon Bitter Truth
ancient wisdom applied is often based
upon bitter truth law of hard knocks
wisdom over centuries hard learned
ancient lore of origin geographic locations
centuries-old stand carved stone tablets
hundreds of tsunami warning stone markers
warnings some 600 years old age dot coastlines
love warnings in Japanese tested stone markers
wisdom carved warnings whisper beware waves
collective earthquake tsunami warning systems
survival warning system for all who will listen
over centuries survival formula Japanese proven
long coasts along Japanese major fault lines
are repeated target of earthquakes tsunamis
'If an earthquake comes, beware of tsunamis'
flee immediately after danger earthquakes
in some places survival is a matter of minutes
people who tarried perished did not escape

Stone Whispers Tsunami Warnings Centuries Passings

ancient tsunami warning
tablet stones
stand warning
across centuries
earthquake tsunamis
will strike
in swift shock waves
Yuto Kimura heard
soft whispers
wise carved sacred
warning words
stone whispers
tsunami warnings
centuries passings
in Aneyoshi
everybody knew heard
about stone markers
children studied
earthquakes tsunamis
warnings
in honoured school
villagers guided
visitors to markers
wise warnings
near their homes

when the tsunami
comes mothers
take their children

Fight Back, “The Land Of The Rising Sun”
A combined attack of a major earthquake and tsunami – for any other country it would have been a major blow
But the country in question is Japan, which is known for not letting any disaster make its morale low.
“The Land Of The Rising Sun”, Japan managed to stand up from the shambles of Hiroshima bombing
It is a strong-willed nation, for which fighting back a disaster with grit is not a new thing.
History bears the proof of the determination and courage that the Japanese community personifies
And there is hardly any doubt that the great country will overcome the present disaster with aplomb and ease.
The entire world’s sympathy, love and wishes are with you - our beloved Japanese friends, brothers and sisters
Fight back with your natural courage, by displaying for the umpteenth time the indomitable spirit of the Japanese mass.
Your ancestors faced Hiroshima bombing, and constructed a new Japan from the rubble of that devastation
Repeat that valour of your ancestors, and prove once again the resilience and buoyancy of your great nation.
(I wrote this poem on 14th March 2011 following the devastating Tsunami and earthquake in Japan that shook the world) .

Conflicts of Disinterests
Even the varying dislikes they have,
Expressed for one another...
Have developed into new ways,
Of disagreements displayed.
They now address their disinterests,
Of those interests...
Only yesterday they said they would consider.
But debates initiated that introduced similarities,
Quickly alarmed those...
Who wanted to keep alive those discussed disparities.
Even the varying dislikes they have,
Expressed for one another...
Have developed into new ways,
Of disagreements displayed.
Now there are conflicts of disinterests.
With points to make.
As if an intentional disarray,
Has not already been the goal achieved.

You've Been Booted So Scoot
Mismatchd mates fight.
In arguments..
Over who did what wrong.
Inspite of who is right.
And which one makes more sense...
To convince the one incensed!
Both are stubborn infidels,
Yelling to end a relationship...
That has been sitting precariously,
On a dubious fence.
While anyone listening in on this,
Wishes they both shut up.
And seal their lips.
Instead of making loud noises.
And breaking up stuff in fits.
Anyone listening to this nonsense sits down.
Or creeps to the wall without making a sound.
To hear very carefully...
With hopes the floor doesn't creek.
As they tip toe around...
To get their ears close as possible,
To what is near...
And going down!
'I saw you cheating on me,
With that home wrecker living across the street.
If you believe that sleaze is better...
You can get up from here and leave.'
~You aint my momma or my poppa.
Stop trying to control everything I do.
I'm not the one pleasured in midnight specials.
The dogs and cats know that rat is you! ~
*ooo...ssshhh.
This is juicy.*
~You don't have the authority,
To tell me what I can't do.
I will do what I please!
Your booty aint that good to screw! ~
*Lawd!
Now YOU know...
When the booty aint right,
That starts a fight.
ooo...this is juicy*
~If anyone here is going to get up and leave...
You're the one that's going to do it.
And if you don't,
I'll call the police.
And when they arrive...
I'll lie to say you've been hitting on me.~
*Lie-uh! *
~Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
Pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
There is nothing to revisit.
And there is nothing to renew.
So pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
There is nothing to revisit.
And there is nothing to renew.
You and and I are finished...
And that door you're going through!
So pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot!
You don't have to bother,
To put on your shoes.
Just pack your bags.
I've had it.
Get up and get out.
You've been booted,
So scoot! ~
*Don't you dare!
I wont get this excitement anywhere.*
**Horace...
Will you come from over there,
And sit down!
You are worse than you say,
My nosy friends are! **
*Sssshhh...*

Damaged Goods
Try to stop the world spinning round
My phone bill will tell you she lives out of town
Its been a long, long time but still I dream
Of warm sunny days on 12th and lorraine
I wish you were here right now....but then
I know I should just leave you alone
I should just leave you alone
I know I should just leave you alone
I should just leave you along
The ground moved under me
I pushed her away with the things Id say
Gods face grew
Earthquake size
And I cant cross our great divide
I wanna live inside....but then
I know I should just leave you alone
I should just leave you alone
