So now I medicate my brain
The conflict rubs against my grain
But I cannot flush this down the drain

The Sickness
he cannot imagine himself
now
swallowing from pill to pill
his stomach
becoming more like
a pharmaceutical
storage cabinet
there is a pill for his
numb arms

acidic stomach

Ode to my little pink pill
You are my saviour,
And my ultimate downfall.
Like so many little pills
That came before you
The first gave me lisence
To act without consequence
Until a little beige pill
Was needed when you failed
After that while on sabbatical
I had some bigger white pills
With a pessary too
To undo the promiscuity.

I take a pill to help me sleep.
I take another when I wake
To me the cost is rather steep
I got addicted by mistake.
Although I had tries counting sheep
It didn’t work I lay awake.

Lie Still
How simple it is for some to lie still
and close their ears for they've lost the will
to object or reject
any unconscionable act.
Much easier to take the blue pill.
For the red pill will alert you. Don't want that
for your ears will hear and know where you're at.
You're in a place where fools
make all the rules
and turn up the thermostat.
It burns up your brain
and has you remain
at the mercy of their will.

Soma
Is is a bitter pill to swallow
But what is life but a bitter pill?
Then a feeling follows
That stuffs the Vedic gods to their gills.
Did it come from India or Persia,
Or only a lab in New Jersey?
Depending on your version
And what reaction it brings:
Skeleto-muscular relaxation
Lack of pain and spasms,

I need a rich girl
I need a rich girl
to drive my deceased car
to the unemployment line,
so that I can get food stamps,
and avoid a job.

not with envy.

A Wonderful Little Green Pill (conversation and conclusion)
'I'm sorry to hear you're feeling ill -

Go on, have another, but remember the bill! '
'Mmmn, that's nice, and I don't need an excuse
To indulge myself freely in substance abuse,
There are those who would say my morals are loose,
They won't listen to my reasons, so what's the use! '
'I'm glad to hear you're enjoying my cure,
The pain you have suffered is too much to endure,
These pills are the best, the ingredients are pure,
They'll do you no harm, of that I am sure! '

They don’t hear it. They don’t feel it. They lie.
I hear it.
I looked out of Emerald City’s windows and I saw it;
My feeling reflecting in eyes, unblinking.
Look, tongue-tied and with shaking hands, see how
I promised the stars I’d bleed for you.
I bleed internally. I bleed in circles.
I hear it.
A rushing. It’s rushing through me.
Through my veins, pulsating in my neck, pounding in my ears.
Repeat. Repeat.
I hear it.
Governing my thoughts, filling my head, heart, head.
It is urgent, and compelling. It is dominating, dominating me.
A dominatrix in a matrix of emotions.
Red pill, blue pill,
Which pill, take a pill.

Social Isobars
I think they should do weather forecasts,
for heavy social-pressure:
who's talking to whom,
and who is under the weather.
It would be much nicer,
under sunny summer skies.
The only time we celebrate,
is when someone dies.
So come on, rouse yourself,
and ease the social chill.
Don't just take a sip,
or dropp the simple pill.
Talk to your neighbour,
tell him or her a yarn.
Just remember -
it's the social cloth we darn.

Youth Got Mail
Her email was a bitter pill,
She was no more my friend,
I sat there mid a sudden chill
I thought would never end...
Her callous words ripped through my soul,
Like lightning bolts of death,
As if she'd lost all self-control
And so I held my breath...
I waited for a change of mind...
Was that her final dart?
Was there a second chance to find?
Perhaps a change of heart?
Then solemn days turned into weeks
And weeks turned into years,
Such that my heart no longer seeks
A sad return to tears...
So, I moved on, alone, of course,
Regrets to bear like scars
And though true love I'd once endorse,
Remorse makes that a farce...
The other day, I heard God's voice...
He whispered soft and low...
He said, 'My child, she made her choice...
It's time to let her go...'
Of course, I laughed at such advice,
The idea quite absurd,
But God gives time so we think twice
And then obey His word...
'O.K., ' I said, 'I set her free...
I pray You'll bless her still...'
That's when I felt the Lord touch me
To take away that chill...

Razel’s Song To Melodie
I will freeze
your feelings one by one,
You will
go completely numb.
I will teach you to ignore,
what all of your feelings are for.
You will not be able to cry at will,
You will be mine to control with this
Little pill.
This pill is a freeze emotion pill
all linked and controlled by me,
Feeling like your helpless and weak,
I will make it hard for you to speak.
Speak your mind and say your thoughts,
'You are mine don’t you know it!
How dare you speak out! ! '
Yes, you were born to be controlled
until 16 years of age,
by then you will be totally Iceranean!

Touch Me
You touch me and the entire world is still.
The silence that your touch does bring
is like a magic pill.
You touch me and I still feel the thrill.
The feeling your touch does bring
takes away my chill.
The times you've touched me I remember well.
The soothing calmness that it gave
created love's sweet spell
that mystifies and beautifies
everything you are.
So every time you touch me
there is silence in my heart.
There's nothing in this world as sweet
that can play its part
