Ode To The Freedom Sought

Oft has my mind thought of worlds far beyond ours.
My spirit seeks for freedom from this world gone rogue.
The marring of earth hath led me to look elsewhere, until What Has Been Marred is fixed.

I wonder, do the people of Saturn look to Hyperion or Telesto as I to the Silver Isle?
Do they see Enceladus or Tethys and let the light fill their hearts?
Or those Jupiter to Io and Europa?

Do the Star's desire to travel the universe burn as ardently as the nebulae from which they are born?

Eventide becomes as Endymion was to Selene, for then the Window into The Void That Is Filled is opened.
I can see the Plane of Existence my God has made.

O how I envy the Outer People, for their planets have several Helpers and mine has but one.

Delusion

I would live forever beneath a rainbow if I could,
But if I became a dove, I would lift my wings and fly past that rainbow,
Worship the sun, play hide and seek with
Clouds of fortune and
When evening set in I would
Dance amongst the stars, search for the moon,
Let the light of the moon guide me towards
Some other planet and there I would make my home.
The rings of Saturn are enticing, and far more mysterious than
The seas and continents of the planet earth-
Saturn has always been the foremost and intriguing planet
Within the magical ocean of my dream world-
Yesterday I awakened at dawn, to find a rainbow on the horizon-
Its vibrant colors seemed to summon me, and Inside the world of my fantasies
I became that dove and soared upward toward the sky
Until I found myself hovering amidst that rainbow-
Its colors reflecting in the stream below-
But sad to say, rainbows always disappear and
I would find myself without destination wading in that stream,
That stream that leads towards nowhere.
However when I close my eyes to reality and once again become that dove,
I ascend in flight into the universe, my eyes fixed upon Saturn and
The rings of Saturn are so like a rainbow that is spinning
About this magnificently beautiful planet I would want to make my home,
I would live beneath a rainbow if I could,
And when that rainbow disappears I would take flight and find Saturn-
Saturn is amazing in its appearance and
Is glorious and extraordinary in all tales that have been told of planets in the universe,
Doves have been correlated with peace and I can see myself in flight
Safely in my solitude as I would be the first living being on that planet-
Its rainbow-like rings about me that I know shall never fade away-
I being the peaceful dove that has escaped veracity forever and
While rainbows on earth may be lovely to see, they are short lived-
The rings of Saturn shall always be there glistening, and enlightening night's darkness.
Inside my mind I have always dreamed of an incomparable place to call home-
A unique, far away place where I can bask in my solitude-
Perhaps I shall never be a dove flying about Saturn and rainbows always fade,
But when I close my eyes I shall always see many colors, stars and the universe,
And inside of my mind, fantasy shall transform to reality until the day I die-
And the day I die my spirit shall rise past clouds of fortune and
Shall live amongst the stars, Saturn and the other planets in the universe for always…

Esplumoir

Before birth we lay as nothing, alas sweet nothing at all,
We are as the one, dedicated to naught but our Love of unison.

How are our souls ever to learn if we are forever earning
Our dues through celestial favours?
How are our souls ever to grow if all we ever know are the
Tastes of terrestrial flavours?

Through the gift of mortal tenancy we are thrown
Into the chaos that surrounds us throughout the day realm.

How are we ever to remain steady at the helm
If we are never given a vessel within which we may sail?
How are we to succeed in our Endeavour if we are never given
The ability to fail?

How are we ever to learn if we are never given the chance
To earn the respect of fellow earthen dancers?

Do not wish away your time upon this earth but know
That your birth was a blessing, a dressing of the soul.
Know that we can never be anything more than a whole
Complete if we are given no separation from unity.

Within our hearts lay a throne for the queen of appreciation.
She knows her place, she knows her face and she is proud
She proclaims her love aloud for every cloud that graces
Her skyline. She’s doing fine without transcendence for she knows
That one day the soul of the world will embrace her once more.

Her awareness of herself she sees a gift with which she may lift spirit
For it is only when we are taken from our existence eternal and given
The gift of mortality that we realise it is the Gods who envy we,
Those adrift amongst a sea of souls. Some practice non thought
Denying there existence as an illusion, yet are they not confused towards
The fact that it is an appreciation of life that they are lacking.

For we hath been born without good warning of the world that tears
Itself apart outside, yet we are not to hide and wish away the clouds of
Grey, we are to love our existence and know that death is our only assurance.
Each will one day become one with the whole, each will loose sense of their
Soul, so embrace the day whist you may and know the search for truth is the
Most honourable of all, yet no truth is there to be found in hiding away
From the world outside your window blurring. Ground. Center. Earth yourself
And know that even though you may perceive all we hath received as nothing
More than an illusion, you will do naught but confuse yourself in trying to attain
A state of un-being before death, for we hath an eternity to enjoy the void.

Jupiter Spins

Jupiter spins, they say, three times as fast
as earth and thus enjoys a shorter day.
They say the sun will grow and then, at last,
burn up the planets which lie in its way.

They say, the universe is growing
or perhaps has grown
and having reached its fullness,
is on its way to ultimate collapse
into black holes of cosmic nothingness.

They say – and build new telescopes and peer
further and further into outer spaces
and dare not turn and look at what is here
brighter than the sun and clear before their faces.

And yet, when all is done,
not there one dies
but deep, inside, right here,
behind one’s eyes.

Initiation

Power changes hands in the unseen worlds
cause in 75 something comes alive
Watch the silver cup and the golden rod
Silently listen and it shall be revealed
I was born to fly higher,
Born to stand where Im standing now
Basking in the light of the neon fire
As it burns my useless body to the ground
Desire let me go
I would fly so high through the sky, never to die
Love has come, love has come
Inside outside, it shall be revealed
Brilliant stars splash down across a crystal sky
And the moon and the sun and the earth are one
See the shining soul break the ring-pass-not
Spiraling upward and it shall be revealed
The spirit is free
The universe wants it to be, it calls you and me
Love has come, love has come
Over under, it shall be revealed
When the bells ring out
And the fire burns within and without
Initiation
When your star grows bright
And fills all of the world with its light
Unification
Swallow your pride, you dont need it no more
Dont have to hide, all I am is only one more
Standing at the door
Waiting for the worlds initiation
Thunder roar and lightning crack
Snakes of fire dance up and down my back
A long, long road is behind me now
Too late to be afraid of the choice that I have made
But theres one thing I know
Where my spirit says to go,
You know thats where I must go
When the golden ray
Of the dawn signifies a new day
Initiation
And when loves grows strong
And the spheres join together in song
Unification
Swallow your pride, you dont need it no more
Dont need to hide, all I am is
Only one more, then shut the door
Waiting for the worlds initiation
Over under, it shall be revealed

Cloudburst Of Romantics

They took the hike
He tasted the cold snow
Of the mountain top
She pumped and pumped
Her legs as she escalate
With the thinning air
Until they conquered
The lofty slope
Aghast, they panted
And spoke each other's name
They were at the top of the world
A perfect place to fall

Together, they filled the skies
With new born nebulas and
Took each turn to admire
Their lofty masterpiece
From her tiny drops of Jupiter
To his reigning ring of Saturn
They owned the universe

The blinding pole dance
Of their creation blinded them
Of the spilled milk;
A sap of life,
a premature death
The universe, their universe,
Continued to spun its yarns
until she was gravid
With stars
But he wouldn't
Consign to the risk
It was just his fix:
Star hunting

Still she wove and wove
The celestial dawn that brought
Their universe together
Only to discover
That while she sat
Engulfed by her dancing comets
He went on to collect
New constricted rings
For his assuaging fix

And in that nook of the universe
Where he was the center
She rocked out of keel
Devoured by the shadows
Casted by garish starlights
Laid before the judgment
Of Babylonian gods
A blackhole is being born
In this abortive bliss

That even the brightest stars
Their once redeeming universe
Could not light.

Universe

Often I have wondered,
Watching the full moon rise over the mountains
At dusk- if some day I could
Travel along its pathway as it
Revolves about the earth, and perhaps even find myself
Riding bareback on a comet- and landing,
To build a home there on the moon-
I know I could never plant a tree there,
That there are no rivers there
To walk along, or no highways to drive upon
That would lead me to that eternal paradise of my fantasies-
Wherever it may be?
If I could find myself alone,
Standing upon a magical mountain above
One of the moon’s phenomenal craters-
In my solitude I could let my imagination
Carry me to other places in the universe
Towards where I could escape the
Wars, famine and destitution of the earth-
Towards Venus I would fly if I could, or
Towards Mars while becoming a nightingale in my wildest dream-
The rings of Saturn I have always found intriguing and
Almost striking in their splendor-
Inside the fortress of my wildest dreams I know that
The sun has given us light here for countless centuries,
And most likely- shall be present countless more-
And as magnificent and mystifying as the planets are-
They are beyond my reach- except within my fondest reverie-
In a dream, no matter day or night- however, I can
Let my phantasmal spirit carry me light years away,
Happy to be soaring across the universe through that sky of
Cerulean blue- without my dreams, I would have no destination,
Often I have wondered – as I look upwards towards the stars
In the midnight sky- if it truly matters how far away they are- as
They were born and created eons past to add some splendor and enchantment
To the billions of people here on this planet earth - as well as
The thrill and sorcery of wondering what we do not know-

Space Travel Made Easy

Just think;

Space travel without a space suit or spacecraft!
Not possible?
Think again!

There is no need for physical form when spirit is set free
Spirit is pure consciousness that is impervious to hot or cold
Spirit has no need to breathe, eat or drink
Spirit can travel anywhere instantly

Want to know how the sun works?
You can go to the sun’s surface by sheer intention
Yes, anywhere is not only possible but practicable

So how do you separate spirit from your body?
Firstly your ego must be bound and gagged
Then meditate to still the doubting mind
In time you remember how to leave your body
Next you will yourself free of physical form

On Earth;
Release of form is the only freedom possible
Freedom is the launching pad for your spirit
An unencumbered spirit knows all there is to know,
And absolute freedom makes everything possible

Now there is only one question left to ask
What star in the Cosmos do I want to visit?

Outside My Picture Window

It has been said that there is a world outside my picture window and
Beyond the trees I see everyday and the sky, sometimes overcast and
Other days, when the sun rises early- I can see the sky and have often wondered if
There exists another world within our universe- I know that
There exists a world inside of my mind and
My pupils are the windows into which
People would look if I were to venture outward?
Beyond the sky, and beyond the sun-
Beyond that world inside my mind,
I would never know where there exists a place for me-
Last night outside of my window
I could see the stars- stars mean different things to different people as
Does the sun, the trees and this whole world outside-
The world inside my mind revolves about
The sun that shines upon my own horizon and
As for this world outside, all I can do is look- and to
See a tree, perhaps a single cloud and the grass that grows-
I have shut my mind to the people who live beyond
The trees, clouds and the grass that I can see-
That window opens to the world inside of my thoughts-
I have just shut and pulled the curtain to discourage all intruders-
I am lying by my window in total darkness now as I place my hand over my eyes,
Shutting out reality and now I can see mountains, flowering trees and
A creek flowing in which I can see my reflection and
I am running upon the grass that grows beneath my feet-
I believe I heard music playing inside the fortress of my mind-
It has been said there is a world outside and I have pulled the curtain
To the window once opened to veracity-
Darkness has never looked as beautiful as I am safe here in my solitude-
Even when the stars are shining and the sky is such a magnificent sight to see-
No place is as exquisite as the creek that runs through my inner space and
The sun inside the world of my thoughts that shines upon my horizon?
The stars are far away and all that is real, though just outside my picture window
I perceive as too far away for me to reach- I would touch the stars and I could be a dove
That can lift my wings and fly away from all that threatens, but only inside my dreams-
Children sing songs and read fairy tales and they believe and I believe that
The sun shines light upon their worlds and
Someday their dreams shall blossom as has mine and shall become their homes-
Home is the safe place inside a person's mind, not within the madding crowd that
Exists outside my picture window- even if the stars are always there- and
That unique and special sun shall just keep on shining upon the world of my dreams….

The Magi to the Star

I. Thanksgiving.

Star, on thy Heaven-returning way,
Our message of thanksgiving bear;
To Him who answered with thy ray
The priestless Gentiles' trembling prayer.

When songs of revel shook the roof,
God, Thou didst cheer the joyless course,
Where we, like Vashti, walked aloof,
Braving the world's unjust divorce.

How rate we now all griefs and scorn
That filled our youth with bitterness!
We had not known the Christ is born
But that we sought for One to bless!

II. Prayer.

Fence Thou Thy Child, O Merciful,
When hate shall cavil at His worth;
When underlings like Haman rule
Hold Thou the golden sceptre forth.

When envy round Thy Precious One
Its tongues of scorching flame hath curled,
Unwasted let His virtue run
From the sore furnace of the world

To fill a new Colossus-mould.
When tireless unbelief hath sent;
Thy truest Image to the cold
Pure mountain-tops of banishment,

Give then, O God, Thy light, to break
Through all earth's valleys cramped and dim,
That after-times may see, and take
Their heroes' measurement from Him!

III. Farewell.

A new horizon's dim blue ring
Around our watch-fire shall be cast,
New stars replace the vanishing,
To-morrow's homeward travel past.

Word-bringer, now thine embassy
Is closed, thou stayest not to fill
A lowlier office. Thou shalt be
Soon 'mid the angels, shining still!

One priceless pearl of upper sea,
One matchless gem of heaven's rich mine;
Within the place once held by thee
God send no after-light to shine!

Yet, foremost of the host of gold,
Long-followed, thou wast never sent,
A glimpse of what the Heavens enfold,
To darken earth with discontent!

Star of the Promised! Streaming on
Through Time's long night, though thou must set,
Thy light shall spread, when thou art gone,
O'er sunless lands we see not yet!

Planet Texas

They rode like they was Rangers as they came out of the skies
They had high-tech horses with beacons in their eyes
My gun was cocked and ready when I looked into their faces
That's when I kinew they weren't no ordinary buck-a-roos
Born of the human race
No, sir, these Cowboys came from space.
Their shootin' irons shot laser light and their spurs was anodized
Bandanas caked with stardust and their jeans was pressurized
One of them handed me a halter, said, "Tighten up the girth."
But by the time I hit the saddle we were miles above the Earth.
And I mean miles above the Earth.
Yippie-aye-ay-e
We saw London, Paris, Budapest, Kashmir and Tokyo
And there ain't no sight like a desert night looking down on Mexico
Past the Moons of Mars and Jupiter, 'round Saturn's rings we rode
Toward the frozen plains of Pluto where even the sunshine's cold
Man, I do mean cold.
Then our interstellar stallions sailed through the starless void
There was nothing to miss in that emptiness, not even a stray asteroid
So we picked up the trail of a comet's tail
Man, you can't even dream that far
And the hoofbeats beat of the rhythm of an old catgut guitar
Just the strummin' of a distant star.
Yippie-aye-ay-e
Well, it could have lasted minutes or a hundred thousand years
When they got me down, I was safe and sound
And it hadn't even popped my ears
And they stood up in their saddles and they shot a bolt of light
That's when I knew they were the good guys,
Yes sir, you got it right
'Cause their cowboy hats was White.
So as they pulled their reins towards the settin' sun
I said, "Before you go, I'd like to know, just where you boys come from?"
One of 'em opened up a star chart and said,
"Right here where this 'X' is
It's the biggest place in outer space, the planet known as Texas."
Yippie-aye-ay-e.
Yippie-aye-ay-e.
Yippie-aye-ay-e.

Freedom Now

They throwed him in jail
And they kept him there
Hoping soo hed die
That his body and spirit would waste away
And soon after that his mind
But every day is born a fool
One who thinks that he can rule
One who says tomorrows mine
One who wakes one day to find
The prison doors open the shackles broken
And chaos in the street
Everybody sing were free free free free
Everybody sing were free free free free
Everybody sing were free free free free
They throwed him in jail
And they kept him there
Hoping his memoryd die
That the people forget how he once led
And fought for justice in their lives
But every day is born a man
Who hates what he cant understand
Who thinks the answer is to kill
Who thinks his actions are gods will
And he thinks hes free free free free
Yes he thinks hes free free free free
He thinks hes free free free free
Soon must come the day
Whe the righteous have their way
Unjustly tried are free
And people live in peace I say
Give the man release
Go on and set your conscience free
Right the wrongs you made
Even a fool can have his day
Let us all be free free free free
Let us all be free free free free
Let us all be free free free free
Free our bodies free our minds
Free our hearts
Freedom for everyone
And freedom now

Go West

The sun dances on the horizon
With the morning wind,
Up, to rise alive
And go west, once again.

Why each day
Does the sun go west?
Perhaps with age
It has found which way is best.

Or, then again
Maybe it's just luck to go that way,
Over and over
Day upon day.

No matter the reason
I must confess,
Of the way in which it goes
I am most sincerely jealous.

For I take to heart
And put to the test,
Those wise words of Horace Greeley:
' Go West young man, go West! '

West. Where the souls of mountain-men are born
And the beauty of nature yet thrives;
Where liberty, freedom, and eagles, soar
And the spirit of the wild still speaks to human lives.

Every time able am I
It is precisely where I desire to go,
For westward is the way
My own free-spirit beckoned does flow.

I come alive out there
And always shall,
Engulfed in the blazing west
Where of it all, I never get my fill.

So burn on westward sun
Burn on I loudly say!
Burn ever jubilant onward
Along your own wonder-filled western way.

In spirit undying
I am with you...
Toward that fine day when
Westward, there I go too.

2112 - Overture

I lie awake, staring out at the bleakness of Megadon. City and sky become one, merging into a single plane, a vast sea of unbroken grey. The Twin Moons, just two pale orbs as they trace their way across the steely sky. I used to think I had a pretty good life here, just plugging into my machine for the day, then watching Templevision or reading a Temple Paper in the evening.
"My friend Jon always said it was nicer here than under the atmospheric domes of the Outer Planets. We have had peace since 2062, when the surviving planets were banded together under the Red Star of the Solar Federation. The less fortunate gave us a few new moons.
I believed what I was told. I thought it was a good life, I thought I was happy. Then I found something that changed it all..."
And the meek shall inherit the earth...

A- anita
R- ray
A:- come closer baby
I wanna touch you
cause Im filled with desire
Its burning in the block, with a fever like fire
Desire!
Chrous
A:- oh... theres something on your mind
When you look across the room I know theres something you can find
Oh... youre on the borderline
When I look into your eyes I know theres something on your mind its called desire
R:- desire!
The call of the heart
Fix you up and dish my apart
Attraction, without satisfaction
Sure aint enough, cause you want interaction
Now, not a moment to waste
Hunger in you know wanna to be
Pulling at your heart, buring in your bud
With people like fire, desire
R:- lust, when your body says much
You can wish at a star, but dont trust luck
If you beaten by book, hooked on the draw
Then look for a girl to share your love
Heaven, where the angelsdont go
Heaven, where dicks turn to green
Its pulling at heart, ruuning in your head
Makes your skin scream, uh desire!
Chrous
R:- desess
Leave those bodys alone, you got it on your mind and youre not the only one
Attraction, the kiss of introduction
Look into our eyes and the kiss becomes abduction
Here, where the angels dont go
Heaven and nothing but dicks
You playing with your heart, playing with your life
But you know you got to start, desire
A:- oh... you fill me up
You fill me up
You fill me with desire
Oh... something on you mind
Something on your mind
Hay... hay...
Oh... burning like fire!
A:- yeah! you fill me with desire
You fill me with desire
Hey... boy
Something on your mind
Something on your mind

Compensations

I: BLIND

When first the shadows fell, like prison bars,
And darkness spread before me, like a pall,
I cried out for the sun, the earth, the stars,
And beat the air, as madmen beat a wall,
Till, impotent, and broken with despair,
I turned my vision inward. Lo, a spark-
A light-a torch; and all my world grew bright;
For God's dear eyes were shining through the dark.
Then, bringing to me gifts of recompense,
Came keener hearing, finer taste, and touch;
And that oft unappreciated sense,
Which finds sweet odours, and proclaims them such;
And not until my mortal eyes were blind
Did I perceive how kind the world, how kind.

II: DEAF

I can recall a time, when on mine ears
There fell chaotic sounds of earthly life,
Shrill cries of triumph, and hoarse shouts of strife;
A medley of despairs, and hopes and fears.
Then silence came, and unavailing tears.
The stillness stabbed me, like a two edged-knife;
Until I found the Universe was rife
With subtle music of the neighbouring spheres.
Such harmonies, such congruous sweet chords,
Wherein each note conveys a healing balm.
And now no more I miss men's spoken words;
For, in a quiet world of larger thought,
I know the joy that comes from being calm.

III: SHUT-IN

Across my window glass
The moving shadows of the people pass.
Sometimes the shadows pause; and through the hall
Kind neighbours come to call,
Bringing a word or smile
To cheer my loneliness a little while.
But as I hear them talk,
These people who can walk
And go about the great green earth at will,
I wonder if they know the joy of being still,
And all alone with thoughts that soar afar-
High as the highest star.
And oft I feel more free
Than those who travel over land and sea.
For one who is shut in,
Away from all the outer strife and din,
With faithful Pain for guide,
Finds where Great Truths abide.

Across my window glass
The moving shadows pass.
But swifter moves my unimpeded thought,
Speeding from spot to spot-
Out and afar-
High as the highest star.

Quick Lived Whims

And here we are...
Concerned that aliens from outer space,
Will someday come to invade our way of life.
As if our barbaric perceptions,
Would be envied by any being who can travel...
Faster than light from distant stars,
Can reach our self centered existence.

We remain fearful of that which has supreme intelligence.
Just like we become suspicious of an independent,
Thought process.
People are programmed to detest a 'smart ass'.
Or someone that is direct.

And yet we take for granted the very Earth we leech on.
Not realizing...
We are being consumed by it.
Not the other way around!
And every aspect of its magnificence...
Allows us to believe what we wish!
With that 'message' missing...
From our need to self indulge those quick lived whims.
That have come to feed the amusement,
Of this living Earth!

No Star I Can See

There is no star,
Which I can see
From my window...
Boundless darkness
Is here in the
Chest of night.
The painted sky,
I saw in the daylight
Now is wiped away
As my last poem
I wrote but made
it vanish from
The page, because
It couldn't tell
The blank story,
Of my desolate
Life...no star
Still is visible
From this window..
Someone has spread
The melted pitch
On the road of my
Moped sky..I stare
And stare all night.
The caged breeze,
The starless sky
And night, none can share
My loneliness, I know
They are no living
Persons like me...
But, they can drown me
In complete void of
Sea of utter darkness.
One star can do this;
Only one star......
Thru my little window,
It's flickering light,
Can fill my dark room,
With its heavenly touch!

Pride Prevents Progress

There is one God Creator Who controls the Universe
No matter what you call Him when you worship or converse Material images by man will Holy God insult
He is not in the works of man or in a human cult God made the planets and controls the endless outer space
God made the many genes deciding every human race God can be seen in everything the human cannot do
Produce a seed, a mighty tree, a tiny bird egg too Because God "Mighty Spirit" wanted to communicate
He came to earth to talk with people all about their fate So God would need a human to convey to man His Plan
God Spirit chose to come to earth to walk and talk with man- But sinful man and Holy God are not compatible
Atonements made by humankind are not acceptable God Only could provide for man a Sacrifice for sin
One worthy of a Holy God, Blood cleansing from within God's Love provided righteous Blood, His Son the Righteous One
By Virgin birth all prophecies were fulfilled by God's Son God now can walk and talk with man possessed with Spirit God
Who listens when God's Word speaks by Messiah: Christ and Lord.

Through These Front Windows

See how our neighbor’s trees
fill with dusky breeze
as bright sky fades to bluest steel.

Light laces through the blackening limbs;
swaying crowns arch
while just above
climbs the golden star.

Oh! See how the planet, worlds apart
from our own treading voyager,
glides through God’s black, velvet heart,

and darkness fill the tender earth
as sudden night joyfully buoys
our slowly turning, blue-green world
with His sacred void.
