The Language of the Ocean
The Oceans and The Sea Speaks A Language
With expressions explicit in tranquility or rage
...The sea breeze moves gentle, swirling around tunefully.
As the fragrance of the oceans breath, lingers luxuriously.
The murmurs of its unwritten rhythm, plays a harmony,
The earthly design, decrescendos the waves flawlessly.
My eyes dip into the endless wide seas, away from land.
World of endless waters, volumes of sky, deep down the sand.
Where millions of sea shells, make their castles and home.
Richness aplenty and the sea creatures fearlessly do roam,
The sun caresses the waters to glisten, with a passionate sigh!
The moon, the stars, brighten the darkness in the sky.
An ocean of emotion with many a story, the seas embrace,
Expresses in ‘Allegretto' the depression, with shattering grace.
And serenity, a composition, an orchestra, with a healing taste.
A clear, concise, comprehensive with variable sounds to illustrate!

Richness through the Storm of life
Richness through the Storm of life
An unknown traveler, conquered, fallen, wrestling a deep pain,
Touched the skied mountains, and distant of white waterfalls unstained.
The morning breaks, with the unspeakable beauty of a glassy stream.
She lifts her pale eyes, to the imprisoned river that quivers a gleam.
The fluttering ever green dancing, to the music of the breeze,
Where the creeping waters ooze through the marshy fallen leaves.
The bickering waters flooding along the fast growing damp banks
With borders where ecstasy plays, leaving unexplainable marks
The rolling heavy logs shattered, trembles and hastily swim along.
Wonders of the waters, its rivers, streams, oceans and its wide seas.
Discloses a view, starry, enriched with expressions; bounties.
Our beautiful Lanka, with its enclosing mountain watery flow,
Fills echoing passions, a vision of heavenly bliss, and more.
Tranquility emerges into the heart with the delicacy of air
As the lonely wanderer rejoices, the foamy waters, with lessening despair!

No More' Brothers..Firoze and Fairuf 31st Dec1996 13th Aug 2011
Firoze and Fairuf Ibrahim....'no more'
As the sun lays its tired head on its pillow the sea
Daylight fades and leaves the world to darkness to me
Memories, of their spoken soft words lingers in my heart
As my misty eyes helplessly watch them sadly depart
Slipping beneath me like the waves and the sea sand
Filled with unspeakable pain something I don’t understand
From the rocks I gaze across the wide open seas uncertain floor
Hoping for no more shocks and heartaches by the score
Sometimes the deep oceans water glistens so crystal clear
How I wish life will be full of sparkling silvery waters to cheer
But like the changing tide of the much needed ocean
I keep rowing on with many a confused ocean of emotions.
As my loving brothers make their sudden exit
I create a new morrow as long as my journey exist

Long to See Home
I sit here and listen
to each story told
and hear of tropical island breeze
that make the palm trees
sway in its wake
and white beachs glemming
Where the waves
lap against its shores
I long to see
were I can place my hand
and run sand in my hand
seeing the deep blue lagoons
that hide the oceans life
Taste the fruits
that are abundance galore
to see the colours of rainbows
of flowers that spread
across its shores
I sit and sigh
and think will I see
those wonderful sites
Will I see the beauty
of the home were
my parents use to roam
as children of old
and hear the legends
being told by the camp fire site
Will I ever get to see
the moon shine its light
by the beautiful shores
of my parents home
Will I ever see their home
I sigh with a dreamy eye
thinking one day I just might

Threads Of Passion
You ignite Northern Lights in my universe
Like a gift from the goddess Aurora
With you I float in cool azure oceans
Aware of the darkness in the depths below
You are sailing on still waters waiting
Anticipating the storms from the horizon
With thorns of sea cucumbers invading
I inflict puncture wounds seeping surrender
You help me float out into the distance
Waiting with hourglasses for my arrival
With the white foam of breaking waves
I create fluffy dream clouds of aspiration
You set the sea surf by my heartbeat
Letting the tide surround me with silence
Out of reefs I built fragile castles on sand
That are later destroyed by infinite currents
Smiling I push the muddy water of rivers
Defrauding you - I seize your breathing
My salty tears mingle with green seas
That carry you away to another coast
You swim with lethal blue-ringed octopus
While I am drowning in sea grass and algae
Together we crash against rocky shores
And dive from icebergs into warm oceans
You are watching me through dark shades
With dark eyes that hide your emotions
Like in black waters I see the moon reflecting
Is it me or is it you that needs protecting

Shannon, Silver Goddess, Flow to Sea
Shannon, silver goddess, flow to sea
And life bring you with thee
To the oceans loud and proud swell
Thy waters come, as if from a well
From which all of Ireland drinks
Your waters pure, the midlands links
With the seas wide expanse
With whose waters yours joins in a dance.
And so, silver goddess, each mile you grow,
Blesses be your waters that into the Atlantic flow.

Oceans Of Fantasy
My world is filled with oceans
Oceans of fantasy
The never never land of emotions
Come down and follow me
Youll see the secret places
Where all the rivers end
And pirate ships of old
Filled with diamonds and with gold
Just waiting for a friend
All you can hear is the music of stillness
And pure harmony
Magical mirrors reflecting the light
That colors the sea
Youll be surrounded by angel like creatures
Who tend to your dreams
Deeper and deeper you fall in a trance
Much more real
Much more real than it seems
Come share with me the oceans
Oceans of fantasy
Where you can lose your soul forever
Like in a melody
Oceans of fantasy, oceans of fantasy
Oceans of fantasy, oceans of fantasy
My world is filled with oceans
Oceans of fantasy
The never never land of emotions
Come down and follow me

By The Ocean (For Dislocated Heart)
I stand by the ocean,
Breathing in the crisp air of night fall,
Watching the moon slipping away,
As the sky melts into the sea;
An endless darkness.
I can feel my mind falling into its depths,
Thinking about every breath I take,
About the world above,
And the world below.
Questions fill my mind,
Questions of life, living, and existence,
Yet still I stand,
Silent and still.
The gentle breeze in the palm trees,
Brushing my hair across my face.
The wind pushes my dress against my legs,
The feeling almost mimicking that of the water.
I can feel the cool spray of the ocean with each wave,
A giant lung breathing the same air as I.
It is a calm entity existing to exist.
A world so unknown and full of wonder,
Yet so simple from above…
I breath a sigh and close my eyes,
The sight of the waves imprinted on my eyelids,
The scent filling my nose and mouth,
The water touching my skin,
The taste of the salt on my tongue,
The repetitive sound of the water endlessly fill my mind.
My feet buried in sand as if to be innocent sand crabs.
A moment so calm and simple,
Yet so meaningful,
If you take the time to experience it,
A moment in which nothing else matters,
Nothing but the water, the sand, and living.
Everything else, like the sky,
Melts away into the sea,
Into the endless dark abyss.
And so I stand,
By the water,
Living and breathing.
If only the world would stop for a moment,
A moment to live and breathe too;
So relaxing and yet so eye opening.
The silence of the night wrapping around me,
The ocean rocking me into sweet oblivion.
Until I have to open my eyes and walk inside,
Back to reality,
But until then,
I'll just stand here,
By the ocean.

The Land versus the Sea
To the man on the shore, the sea
With its vast expanse, appears lovely;
With sparkling waves of immense beauty,
That calms the mind of its devotee!
The incessant roar of sea-waves is awesome,
And drowns the ears which welcome;
Time seems to have come to a halt
To those who sit by the water with salt.
The foam and froth and spray fill the air-
A treat to the eyes which watch and stare;
The sand under the feet too slips and goes
Back to the sea, its home, of course!
The sea is home to creatures lot;
Its breeze is so cool to skins that are hot;
The lives of fishermen on it depend;
A watery grave to some, it may just end.
Who can deny the sea doesn’t bring mirth
To mankind, right from its very birth?
Oh, once it spanned the whole surface of the earth,
Receding just before the first man got his first breath.
But to the man in a ship caught in a storm,
The land holds hope and appears calm-
A haven to those who desire less harm,
That keeps sailors off deep seas, warm.
The sea is hope to fishermen, may be;
The land is hope to men amidst a stormy sea;
With joy and sadness in both surely,
They live in threatened amity!
And yet, at other times, the sea
Is a scene of great tranquility;
Twirling its waves high, infinitely;
And tossing them onshore in spontaneity.
Oh, what shall we call it- necessity,
Enmity or Nature’s harmony;
Or the land’s immeasureable agony,
That’s an endless pity?
Or is it a show of love and of hate,
From time immemorial that won’t abate?
And yet, the sea takes the upper hand,
Gnawing the coastline of the land-
That changes so very often,
Sometimes, becoming misshapen.
What’s the sea without the land?
What’s a shore without its sand?
A struggle for existence:
A land in hapless defense?
There is hope and joy in both;
There are dangers lurking stealth;
Yet, both obey the Maker’s word,
That remains to mankind, always unheard!

Sailing In Your Eyes
Sail with you in your oceans of blue
feel the endless waves of joyful and painful tears on my skin
this journey for me now endless
as I sail with you in your oceans of blue
though the ship may list
water may threaten
drowning of me sometimes your thought
I will sail with you in your oceans of blue
your eyes truly the windows journey to your soul

The Sun and The Moon
As the Sun
Sets on the Sea
With its reddish glow
And orange hues...
The day shades in for me
Awakening the
Night of Darkness
Within me...
And the setting Sun
On the horizon
Beckons me
Nearer to it
As if asking me
To seek shelter
In its radiant warmth
And magnanimous
Splendour...
Yet when I see
The swirling waters
Of the Sea...
With their myriad colours
Reflecting the Setting Sun's
Evening Glory -
I remember that
It is all a mirage
For the very same Sun
Inviting me in with all
Its Grandeur -
Can Scorch me dry
On one of those days
When it is bright and shining
In the clear, blue sky.
So I see it,
Cherish it
From far-away...
I love the sun setting
On the Sea
It is a lovely sight for me
Every day
Yet - I always revert back
To my night of darkness
When the sun sets in
Even if it is lonely and
Shadowy out here...
I still prefer
The coolness of the night
The bright, starry delight
Of the sky and the stars
And in that darkness -
That still, sombre mood
Of being alone, solitary
And so very lonely...
The tears in my eyes
Speak to my Beloved
Sans any words
Nor any letters
Yet feelings galore
Dreams aplenty...
The beautiful Moon
with its subtle grace
Takes the place
Of my messenger of love.
In its blue moonlight
I bask and ask -
Questions aplenty
To my Beloved.
And I wait and I wait
For the answers to come
Drifting by...
Like the soft evening breeze
And the cool night air
Rejuvenating me,
Arousing me
Teasing me
Making love to me...
Revitalising and
Refreshing me -
From lands afar,
Across the miles
Over the seven seas.
Like a clandestine affair
Of the Night
Amidst the stars and the sky
Where I laugh and I cry
With You
In my Fantasies...
Like it happens every night
When the Sun goes down
And ushers in the Night -
And Yes - The Witness
Of this night long
Love affair...
Fantasising without a care -
Remains my messenger of love:
The eternal Moon
With its blue moonlight.

Mind Song Whale Song Sung
poetic thoughts passed
through me part of mind
song whale song sung
through huge oceans
throughout this world
through water world
oceans are like God’s tears
cried through love of us
love creations slaughtered
as you hunt us down kill us
delight in seas red harvest blood
feast upon our sacrifice flesh
until then we sing mind songs
in love life swimming oceans
in light near surface or darkness
found in pressure ocean depths
all is same one in love life waters
we sing our love in life worships

Sonnet: I’m A Bard-giant
You're just a dropp in the ocean, my friend;
You cannot be even a water-pool;
I am a river flowing without end,
with waters clear, and sweet and very cool.
You're just a boat, that can't venture to sea;
The wind is rough, thy stature small, you see;
I am a Bark, uniquely-built, mighty;
I ply the seas and oceans fearlessly.
You're a fire-fly, tiny, bright in the dark;
Your light can't guide the people walking past;
I'm a Light-house, tall that guides every bark;
I show the shore and safety very fast.
You are a dwarf, I am a Poet, see;
One's mind, heart, soul and God matter surely.

Save The Oceans And Save The Seas
Oil and water do not mix,
this oil slick has no quick fix.
The dark black goo not only affects me and you,
but SEA LIFE in our OCEANS too.
We must STAND UP for all LIFE under the SEA,
or there won’t be any left in our ECOLOGY.
Save the OCEANS and save the SEAS,
or the SEA CREATURES have no DESTINY.
This oil mess was made by greed,
we must take the LEAD
in cleaning up the GULFSTREAM.
We must STAND TOGETHER all of as ONE,
as one people UNITED under the SUN.
This is our PLANET that we all SHARE,
with other LIVING creatures
WHO need our LOVE and CARE.
We must pray for the sea’s mammals, fishes and BIRDS too.
We must all PRAY TOGETHER me and YOU.
Save the OCEANS and save the SEAS,
for the SEA CREATURES to have a DESTINY.

Creation’s Witness
Gazing at the sun each day, and the stars in the twilight way,
Followed by the moon each night, giving off its lesser light,
Every one suspended in place, by God’s Power and Grace,
Fixed by God, up in the sky, as God’s witness to every eye.
All this was only a small part, of God’s Creation at the start,
He parted waters by command, creating both seas and land,
Above the land He called sky, filling it with creatures that fly,
And in the seas you will find, fish and creatures of that kind.
With vegetation, the land’s filled, just as The Lord had willed.
The land He put creatures too, far different than me and you,
For the pinnacle of God’s plan, is when He had created man,
And created in the image of, The Creator, who reigns above.
All this is God’s created proof, and reason He alone is Truth,
The Creation that man denies, believing that he alone is wise,
But, this is part of Satan’s plan, to deceive the heart of man,
Having man dismiss the Creator, he’ll then not seek a Savior.
But all will be without excuse, when by God asked to choose,
In regards to their salvation, offered by The God of Creation,
For even the creation moans, waiting for God and God alone,
From the curse to be freed, as He comes with His redeemed.

The whispering woods
Through sunshine and rain,
from across oceans and sand,
gentle wind from your woods
stops in my land,
whispering in my ear
a song so dear,
You are not miles away
but in the fragrance near.

Education -an Ocean
Dean of the students is
The cloud that fills the ocean.
Educator of the novice is
The salt in the ocean.
Student of an institute is
The water in that ocean.
Notorious among the students are
The predators of the ocean.
Man without education...
Ocean without water.....
Un imaginable they are!
Cream of students is
The pearl of the oceans.
Men who perceived Einstein`s theory are
The seven oceans in the world.
Exam time for the students are
The waves and the tides of these oceans.
And the time of the results coming in is
A whirl pool in the oceans.

Ships Passing In Night Born
ships are sailing upon turn tide flowing river waters
light is dance happy mellow yellows closing long day
soon sunset will add flame reds fingers yellow gold
sun sets sinks into still sea upon horizon home shores
dust light fades shadows creep in stealth murky images
suddenly black dawns night deep darkness speaks in glory
starlight sparkles upon enchanted waters river ebbs flows
passage across bar out into ocean waves rocks emotions
soon short journeys made upon ocean waters salts senses
watch shoreline beach grey sands invisible stretch wet away
waters dark painted ocean oil black sparkles in flow waves
beach sands perfume night with residue heat breeze vapours

Untapped...
I see beauty in the night
Graceful is the sight
As the moon floats
Amidst oceans of stars
In see beauty in nature
In the sun masculine embrace
So much beauty in the clouds
Even seas confess in rousing waves
I see beauty in the day
In the reflection of your face
So much beauty in may
As it ushers the new rain
There is beauty in your eyes
The curl of your hair...
So much beauty in your heart
And the joy that comes with your smile.

Soul searchin
Isolation from the truth
Got me deep in their lies
So I close my ears shut
Stare deep in their eyes
But I don’t see clear
So proceed with my mind
Only to learn we can’t connect
I’m deceived by their kind
At times I wish I could just
Flow with the breeze
I’m gone with the wind just
Blow on the trees
No hesitation to make moves
Finally free
But my souls stuck in this body
Till freedoms achieved
At times I wish I become
One with the waves
One with the ponds with the rivers
Or the lakes
One with the ocean or seas
No debate
I’m alone in the streets
I need the keys to the gate
But every time i spend a couple of
Hour’s with nature
a feeling of fulfillness
Begin to take over
But I guess this is what you call a
Spiritual healing'
Accompanied by calm waves
Call it mutual feeling
