Vast Times And Vast Spaces
VAST TIMES AND VAST SPACES
Vast times and vast spaces
Preceded our being here
Vast times and vast spaces
Will be should we disappear-
Yet our hearts tell us
A revelation from God we be-
And wherever the Universe takes us
We’ll go on for Infinity.

To Enhance The Vast Spaces
TO ENHANCE THE VAST SPACES
To enhance the vast spaces,
Dark matter and energy
With human dreaming-
Mind and Memory.
From our little planet,
We will try to reach so far-
Our voices will be heard
As every dimming star.

How Hopeless It All Seems
HOW HOPELESS IT ALL SEEMS
How hopeless it all seems
When we think of those vast distances
And those vast times
And our own little place in it all-
How hopeless it all seems
When we think of the short time
We are here
And the vast time to come-
What are we?
Small beings in something so much vaster than ourselves
We cannot define it-
How hopeless it all seems
When we know how little we are.

The Desolate Field
Vast and grey, the sky
is a simulacrum
to all but him whose days
are vast and grey and --
In the tall, dried grasses
a goat stirs
with nozzle searching the ground.
My head is in the air
but who am I . . . ?
-- and my heart stops amazed
at the thought of love
vast and grey
yearning silently over me.

The World Is Vast
THE WORLD IS SO VAST
The world is so vast-
There are so many things and people in it -
We know there are more stars than people,
And so many times more people than we will ever know-
We know a small part of everything there is
And even that changes
And we know less and more with the years -
What we are is a surprise sometimes
But even then we cannot understand it-
How great God has made the universe or perhaps all the universes
We cannot know –
From our small time in our own small time
Let us love life as best we can
And live as well as we can,
Before our little time in the vastness of time passes

The Empty Spaces Of The Dark Sky
to what shall i compare
my life in this world?
it is my way of saying hello to you
resounding to your door
and rebounding to your windows
passing through your kitchen backdoor
and off into the empty spaces of the vast sky.

The Beauti Of Sorrow
Beauti of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
conceptually multiplied
virtually personified
politically religified
perceptually cubified
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
life is a beauty
living our prize
to share them our duty*
effects all our lives*
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
running reel of thoughts
projection of the mind
independent performing plots
and a function to define
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
many a different beauties
shine in a single sorrow
many a different evenings
raise a plethora of tomorrows
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
contemplation of all thats left
the final mystery announced
a souls a speck of a black hole's death
so evil, and good renounce
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me
sorrow isn't knowing now
knowing hurts so much
hurt is hope that holds you down
ego is a common crutch
Beatui of sorrow
vast as the sea
eve of the morrow
inner expanse of me

Cradle of Deceit
Pacing down a string of deceit
Strings that conceal attachments
I wonder how tangled I weave
Sunken deep in this resentment
Live here but do not breathe
Walk in legs superfluous
Despair is beneath your feet
Edified with unceasing bruise
A lucid jagged thread
A cage without walls or rails
Echoes of things said
Bellow with the drunken wails
Haunting in this spaces, the past
To fall back in skulking darkness
Is to fall in void so vast
Vast linkage of madness
Proportions and distortions
Fraudulent web of spider
Architectural perfection
A trap. A home for slaughter.

There are certain queer times and occasions in this strange mixed affair we call life when a man takes the whole universe for a vast practical joke.

Love Eternally
Oh love without ending
As vast as the sea
Oh mercy divine
Forever it will be
Oh infinite grace
It has no end
Eternal redemption
The heavens you'll rend
And all these flow down
From a mountain so high
That it reaches the heavens
And bursts through the sky
When I survey
The heavens above
I'm awed by the vastness
I'm awed by your love
One day i'll stand
On eternities shore
How vast is your love?
I'll guess no more
Only then I'll know
How vast is the sea
Only then I'll know
Love eternally

Why A World
WHY A WORLD
Why a world
So vast so violent so dark so empty
Why all this distance
With so little life?
Why we
In this narrow space of time
On this frail membrane of earth and air?
Why so much else?
And we
We alone
Dreaming of You
Praying to You
Loving You
Fearing You
Not really knowing You.
Why and why again
In this vast seemingly indifferent universe
Are we here?

Life Is Vast
The vastness of life improves when you submerge,
Into the oceans of brilliance is the cure of illness.
Future has feuds of finesse, submerging like clouds,
Offending the general sky, as if the world mattered.
The fuel of fire is vast, so very vast so that we beg,
The fires are out and they are pushed out to the void.
A void is a vacuum too bigger than the world
Or any black hole, or any night-object.
The world is far away in a place too darker,
Darkness was vast for life, vaster than the mind.

To me our bombing policy appears to be suicidal. Not because it does not do vast damage to our enemy, it does; but because, simultaneously, it does vast damage to our peace aim, unless that aim is mutual economic and social annihilation.

Who Says The World Is Vast?
Who says the world is vast?
As I can see the arch-
Not far long it creates the dome.
When I approach to it,
It goes far away upon.
Then how does an artist draw the horizon?
I apprehend the universe is vast-
As I can not see the fence.
Then how does an astronomer photograph it,
And sticks these on the pages of books?
And is not the perspective concept of geometry applied to them?
If all these are imagination and assumption-
Then I am a poet full of imagination-
Far above of them to think
With a colourful pen and ink.

I Am Only One Small Name In A Universe
I AM ONLY ONE SMALL NAME IN A UNIVERSE
I am only one small name in a universe,
Of billions of names-
I am only one small bodily being
Where there are billions of billions-
I am a beginning and an end,
As all living things-
A speck in vast spaces whose specks are uncountable-
No one or nothing need save me
No one or nothing need remember me
No one or nothing billions of years hence
Need smile because I was here.
I am so small I need never to have existed-
I am not even here now,
Whoever is writing this
Lost me a long time ago.

A Vision
the world is so vast
the universe floating and so endless
there is always this
fluidity
no one knows what is there
we focus on the
garden of our heart
it is the only thing we
can do
till
tend what is present
go where we are taken
time
that is the waiting
that sense of this, that
there
but soon the change comes
the timelessness
and weightlessness of these
all
the sense of floating and
being endless
sunless horizons
edgeless spaces
at the tip of the icebergs
of our minds
along the peripheries of
our tattered hearts
soon there will be no burdens
on the wings of
spirits
on the feathers of angels
to the arms of gods....

Eternity
O years! and age! farewell:
Behold I go,
Where I do know
Infinity to dwell.
And these mine eyes shall see
All times, how they
Are lost i' th' sea
Of vast eternity:--
Where never moon shall sway
The stars; but she,
And night, shall be
Drown'd in one endless day.
