The Visitor

The wait begins adorned with symbols
for shadow to fall
between hope and pretention.

The moon will talk
when the dew returns
and clouds are hiding.

He will come in a black cloak
for a final assault
with broken promises.

Is he untouchable?
You cannot embrace him?
Walks like a ghost between me and you.

Our past, open-eyed, the truth
happens on road
in crowd, in our home.

Generation

untouchable that bleeds, lonely
in black sky, that haunting moon
walks gingerly on quivering sea:
lovers killed in shame in broad daylight
by gunshots before a crowd; some possessed
maniacs turning the clock back: history
lets go the leaves, the autumn,

trees stand naked, not malevolent
but want to poach upon the wrong side
of faith; my vision starts failing,
crosses the river in ancient lingua franca
joining the broken hearts

i was apprehensive, clouds come and
go, each death becomes a daisy

A River Flows Underground

That was unscarred night.
The full moon was rising.
A contagium had spurred it to go high.

A brazen assault bleeds
the painter's eyes. He sees only
red in the pubescent rage.

She walks out of the stain,
turning into ash, urchin's
brightest moon.

Standing on the crossroads
who was burning clouds?
Rains will never come again.

Phylogeny flattens the guns.
We were hiding behind the
rituals watching the fall of light.

I will make my own truce
with death. I refuse to walk
under the belly of smoke.

The best laid plans.

No moon tonight that we can see.
The dark storm clouds are gathering
The thunder grumbles distantly.
Ominous and threatening.

I’m far from home no shelter near
When suddenly the sky turns bright
As blue white streaks of lightning sear
Across the darkness of the night.

The lightning tears the clouds apart.
Swiftly and efficiently
And this allows the rain to start.
Pouring down torrentially.

My windscreen wipers cannot cope.
I cannot see the road ahead.
my journeys end a forlorn hope.
Tonight I shall not see my bed.

The storm still rages to and fro.
I have no choice but wait it out.
When it blows over I shall go
As it must I do not doubt.

I watch and wait impatiently.
Just static on the radio.
Caused by the lightning probably.
I shall be glad when I can go.

At last the sky begins to clear.
It seems the storm has run its course
The clouds pass on and stars appear.
I bowed to its superior force.

I can continue on my way
But still I must drive carefully.
As others pass in clouds of spray
Too fast and driving thoughtlessly.

Quite soon I shall be home in bed
Catching up on beauty sleep.
Another journey lies ahead
I have appointments I must keep...

May be the weather will be kind.
Although the forecasts none too bright.
I can’t afford to fall behind.
My deadline will run out tonight.

Thank You For The Promises

Thank you for the promises we make
I know I cant complain
I think I did all right
No failures are in sight
Only now and then
Id like to reminisce
Do you remember when
Even if were angels we cant ask
To wander through the past
The future is our goal
The night is black as coal
If I could pay the price
Id like to love you once
Id love to love you twice
Thanks
We cannot say enough
The road is sometimes rough
But we can get along
The going will get tough
But we wont be afraid
Of the promises we made
Thank you for the promises you keep
When I am fast asleep
To be where we belong
Is all that I can ask
We can do it in the shade
As long as I have you
And the promises we made
Thank you for the promises we break
If you made a clean mistake
Well thats what loves about
No need to stand and shout
The truth is in your eyes
The answer lies within
No need to criticize
Thanks
For the promises at hand
The abuse that we must stand
Is often heaven sent
They may not pay the rent
You never can be sure
When promises get bent
Thank you for the promises that live
This is all that I can give
Forever in my mind
To leave the past behind
And seal it with a kiss
Forever in my soul
I will remember this

Broken Promises

Just another broken promise.
Your words are really cheap.
You're writing cheques with your mouth.
Your body will not keep.

They say that love is action.
Not simply just a word.
If that's the case, I've never felt.
I've only really heard.

You've said it many many times.
When push it came to shove.
I truly honestly believe.
It's only you, you love.

The times you said, the things you'd do.
But then you would forget.
You would work as hard as you wanted to.
Until you had to sweat.

Things got tough, you packed it in,
And threw it all away.
Instead of putting in effort.
You'd rather go out and play.

I tried and tried, the work I did.
Make our world a better place.
You sat right on the sidelines.
While I went and ran the race.

The same excuses “I forgot”.
I've heard it all before.
The hurt I felt and feel again.
I can't take it anymore.

You say “Don't sweat it! ”, “”It's no big deal! ”
“Be thankful for what you've got”.
But to me it is the little things,
That really mean a lot

I take your broken promises.
That fill my broken heart.
I'll tell you what they do to me.
It rips my soul apart.

Again, I bet you'll blow it off.
You'll say what you want me to hear.
You'll take the promises that you make.
Then make them disappear.

So talk your talk, I'll walk my walk.
I've done everything I can.
To keep my promise and my word.
I truly am a man.

You keep your broken promises.
I know that's what you'll do.
Your talk is cheap, your words are lies.
I know that mine are true.

I'll pack your broken promises.
I'm out the broken door.
I hope you enjoy your broken home.
I won't be broken anymore!

Town Of The Broken Hearted

He carries with him
A picture and a letter
Both tied to the love of his life
His deceased wife

With nothing to lose
And him believing the truth to be uncovered in that mysterious town
He begins his journey
Hoping for not only his personal victory
But to find the answer to it all

He begins walking toward the town of the broken hearted
With a wooden plank in his hand
He gathers in what courage he has

He walks a long time
Bypassing the water well and the graveyard
As well as the metal fences

He finally reaches the town of the broken hearted
His journey begins now he realizes
To uncover the truth
And to hope for his love to be alive

The Feathers of Dreams

The midnight hour has long since past and still by candlelight I turn,
My eyes are burning with the strain of receiving all that surrounds them.
Naked as the day I was born I sense the dissolution of my limitations,
The spirit invoked, the last skin smoked and I am set free into the blanket night.
A light hearted melody fuels the motion of my mind and I dance
Wild and free upon the wings of expression adorned in the feathers of dreams.
As a Celtic knot wraps its shadow around my wrist a maiden appears in the shade,
The definition of her face is fading but there wading with the ghosts of a life
Long since lived she dwells, her emotion swelling upon the look within my eyes.
Offering her hand to me she offers freedom from this world of our awakening
Yet a shift in her smile allows her grace to lift one moment enough to see that
She is far from a position to offer the gifts she promises so lightly with her words.
She lies unheard of amongst those that would wish to measure her features
For she is beyond manifestation, she is creation adorned in the feathers of dreams.

With a pensive smile she embraced me, smothering me with her warm caress
And whispered into my ear ‘All is not as it once was, yet still all is one in the same.
Love thyself and love thy all and know that even when you have fallen I shall
Embrace you into my arms for I am all you aspire to be. I shall know you
Until your final dream and I shall walk with you through nightmares as I shall
Share with you the joys of the world. I shall drown in the sorrows of tomorrow
With you in my arms breathing fresh breath into your lungs until your day is done.
I am the sun as I am the moon as I am the flower in springtime bloom,
I am the blood that runs in your veins as I am the wind as I am the rain
I am the earth as I am the sky as I am the reason you wish you could fly.
I am the ghost of memories past, I am reflections in broken glass.
I am all and I am you and everything I say is true, believe and blessed be.’
As she spoke the last words of her wisdom she began to sink into the shade.
Fading by the moment she motioned a kiss upon the air as she ran her fingers
Through her hair and turned into the midnight sun, striding as one in perfect unity.

Drift Wood

This politics of poverty
erupts again,
entrapped in arcane script.
A code of words will find
the fault lines.

Coerced to wait in a
black book, you start forgetting
the rules of game. It hits you
when you were writing
a poem.

At the end of the arguments
a lynx eyed moon walks
on the lake of tears, constructing
a dam of bread, for
a broken promise.

A Question For You?

i ask the wind
when will i ever see you again?

and the clouds hear it and then
the sun shines telling it is when the clear day comes again

and then i wait and there is rain for days and days.

on a clear day, the sun shines the flowers bloom and i wait again

there is no you, not even a shadow, and i left

the sun, the wind, the rain, the clouds

they have nothing to give for my quest for answers,
useless metaphors, broken promises, empty poems
shattered dreams

Never Will I Break

Lay me down
And wash this blood off of my hands for me
While I cry out
Don't let me die before I fall asleep
I can't keep going but
I can not start again
This road I walk is paved with the broken promises
I've made
At least a million times I've fallen
But never will I break
These walls I make
They hold me in and hold me back today
Oh but tomorrow to
Then I'll walk right out and walk right over you
If you hear me screamin'
Please don't let me fall again
This road I walk is paved with the broken promises
I've made
At least a million times I've fallen
But never will I break
My time is on it's way
I'll fall but I won't break
This road I walk is paved with the broken promises
I've made
At least a million times I've fallen
But never will I break
Repeat

Velvet Sky

Velvet sky,
Oh velvet sky,
Black velvet sky with arms open wide.
Lovely ips,
Oh lovely lips,
If only yours would give mine a kiss.
Open eyes,
Oh open eyes,
How open eyes only Close my mind.
Scarlet lace,
Oh scarlet lace,
How did it feel to fall down from grace?
Blissful clouds,
Oh blissful clouds,
In this fever I'll surely drown.
Broken time,
Oh broken time,
I'd give it all up if you would be mine.
Velvet sky,
Oh velvet sky,
If only your arms were open so wide.

The Twilight

You start abbreviating the pretention,
caring for the end of a perennial revenge –
of slain truth, finding depth in arguments
which will spawn more violence.

Come my friend, come. Sit with me.
Let us search together the solitary
death in living past. Ultimate space was
a great deception of the eternal silence.

Clayey mood again depicts the pain
between your moons. I go for a play in dust
of time. The beats of heart will not wear
a sword now.

One hope finds a moon-belt on the hills
where the shadows walk with stars.
I will wait for the sun to rise.

With All My Heart, I Love You

Standing in an open field
Drenched by the rain with only a cap to shield
My whole body shivered, remembering the past
A vivid encounter, hopefully will not last

Saying goodbye was very hard to do
After a long, breathless warm embrace
To the man i have loved many years ago
Our childhood dreams, promises and vows have to go

With all my heart, i love you
With all my strength, i will carry you
These are our promises we hold on to
Our cup of joy filled to the brim overflow

Mountains may walk away, hills may fall into pieces
My love won't walk away from you and will never be broken

Can you see it in my eyes?
it is the eyes of love
i love you, and with all my heart i love only you
If only i have wings to fly,
I'll come and get you without a wink of my eye

I hold on to his promises and vow of undying love
Until we will be seeing back in each others arms
Whispering again those words...
With all my heart..i love you

Frog Prince Of 21th Century (Part 1)

The memory I've taken with when I started to walk,
I promised I never did gone to break your heart.
Listen to the birds' singing, moon's gone to shards.
I knew the rest of the folktales, and now i will talk.

'Frog is hiding to find a place to sleep
from danger of world after he's cursed by witch.
An ugly frog appeared when he was looking into the pond.
Moonlight reflection appeared beside him likes it's never gone.'

'He looked above to talk to the moon,
but moon was hiding behind the cloud as her room.
Desperately, he walked his alley under the moon's shadow.
Quietly, moon was staring at him from her hideaway unknown.'

'Doubtful and lonely, he wondered 'bout the moon,
'I'm no more a prince, no more sprayed with fume'
'Is it why the moon hated me after i was fallen? '
'I'm no more than a frog without a crown to bring'. '

Did I ever think of sex when I write about the rain?

Wading through the rain, naked, and letting the rain fall
On my mouth as I look up to the cloudy skies where the sun
And the moon are missing, drinking the raindrops and letting
My hair go wet and flowing all over my body, walking through
The middle of the road where the waters are deep and cold

On the other side, you wait for me, your arms extending
You look into my glistening eyes, you hold my hand and
You embrace my shivering body, you take me inside your room
You wipe me with your dry towel and serve me tea and give me
The needed company, this misery, this rain crying on the roof

You wrap my body with your arms, you dress me up with your
Oversized shirt and let me wear your worn out blue jeans
We talk a while, you explain something, in truth, we simply
Talk and talk, and when the rain stops, you ask me to leave.

Flight

I have always loved the sky and
Dreamed, not only late at night,
Of life beyond our solar system
Elsewhere in the universe so vast-
Some would say that I envision the sky
Under a different light, as
The sun people worship and fantasize
Around which our planet revolves,
Has been brightly blinding and deceptive-
Inside the world of my thoughts as
Others have deemed as delusions-
Casting rays that are fires from hell,
Illuminating the paths I frantically walk
Trying to escape what is real.
Cerulean blue is the sky at night, and
Cobalt blue at sunrise,
Overshadowed by the dimmer light of the moon at twilight,
Adorned with contrasting cumulous clouds at dawn as
Rare shades of blue magically transform to gold as
The evil sunrises, threatening me-
Although I fear the overwhelmingly dazzling rays of the sun
Aiming towards me as a sort of lethal weapon,
I would still make my journey through and across the universal sky
If I only could- inside the fortress of my mind,
I have created my own universe, with a different sun,
People I could trust and who speak a language
Which only they and I could converse and comprehend- while
There would be no sickness, war or evil to fear.
I have no place upon the familiar planet earth.
I was born under a different star-
I have escaped veracity,
I have become a extraordinary nightingale lifting my wings,
Flying beyond the sun, the moon and past Saturn, Venus and beyond-
Inside the world of my apparition, as I soar further
Away from all that terrifies me
I know that a day shall come that I shall arrive
At my new home, in flesh, not only in spirit-
I have always loved the sky, and
I have always lived, in my own way
As a shadow obliterated by massive crowds of
Those who only wish me harm.
The story of how my body and soul
Shall soon survive and find blissful contentment,
Someplace beyond what they can envision
Is one nobody shall ever hear, as
My thoughts have traveled too many light years away –
One day the sun shall burn out and I may return,
After all of earths’ hellions have vanished-though
I shall never be alone, as I have by my side
Those phantasmal beings of my sorcery-
I hear thunder now and the rain begins to fall, and
I cannot see through the black and ominous clouds-
With much disdain my journey must be postponed as
I watch the rain fall into the ocean,
I find myself drowning inside a different ocean-
That is, an ocean of an abundance of tears, which
I have wept, unashamedly knowing that
Nothing is without hope and I deeply believe
I shall become that extraordinary nightingale someday again soon
Ascending upward, when the sky becomes once again
That distinctive shade of cerulean blue-
I can find my place amongst angels or more simply
Amongst the beings inside of my imaginings and be joyful
And with hope that the sun shall not set my dreams afire,
That the rain shall not begin to fall again,
Someday I shall be contented to be alive,
as a strong, brave and immortal being, while
Never a lost soul or a shadow blackened by the nightmares of my past.

Two Shadows

Moral codes under black lace
Permeate the sensuous epidermis
We touch in sanctuary
We meet inside the dim lit cathedral
Past the sinew
Past the circus
There are symbols on your walls
Conversion is not dogmatic
Love walks these stone alleys
Narrow streets where artists paint
Romance is a blue sea within
Romance is dangerous like a city
You see my dark corridors
You see my sharp edges
I am the defiled, the hopeful
Please see my warm fire

Your eyes are my candles
Self-portraits are incognito
We reveal one another
The moon shines through stained glass
Darkness is a weak excuse
Your smile is from Eden
Your black cloak just a disguise
Tenderness hidden deep inside
I am the man who needs you
We are the port coming in view
We are the stars shining in the night
The lions are still-hunting
The world is at war
Time is doomed to entropy
Love seems to be inexplicable
Maybe we can hear one another

We leave the cathedral like two shadows

Tantalus

Tonight a dark force enters my room
I will play with planets to decide
the course of my destiny.
A future has been tied to my past.

Such pain, strange exorcism, the evil spirit
stains the bed.
When I squeeze the eyes
fog deepens.
It hides the treasure of subtle creation.

Every thing is turning into black energy
I stop thinking.
A pretention of kindness, and monumental grace play
to stop the suicide after loss of
standing harvest.

The hope has been abducted
for a ransom of a child.
There is rape of a classical painting.

Corridors of power resound with promises
styles smashed, seeds thrown
randomly on the land of guilt.
We will wait for the showers to come.
