Dark Performance
An empty indulgence,
tortures the deep imagination
the immutable name of unuttered grief.
Gradually the fear of unknown,
takes hold of the lungs, spleen.
We don’t put the,
solitude for soul-search.
I am hearing myself now.
The fake overtakes the acuity.
Death looks the sacrilege from a distance.
The saffron clouds create
the opacity in transparent green.
Once we were all colorless,
full of dirt now; storing
our memories in empty hearts.
The vigil was over,
rains scattered the seeds.
The hours and days were littered
with bruised limbs of shaken faith.
No body held the banner.
The dark performance of believers
was sheared off by sharp lights.

Heart, Body And Soul
Minds empty,
souls free,
hearts open,
memories.
Free as a bird,
free as can be,
my soul escapes my empty body.
The mind is now gone,
nothing remains except my memories of a dark nights wake.
An open heart,
an open wound,
forever in need of sympathy.
Memories of a time long ago,
memories have yet to go.
My mind is full,
my soul contained,
my heart is closed for eternity

Fallen, Empty, And Broken
fallen soldier
fallen sky
fallen angel
from on high
fallen heartache
fallen soul
fallen man
losing control
empty bed
empty arms
empty dreams
empty heart
empty wallet
empty hands
cant take nothin'
from an empty man
broken promises
broken vows
broken spirit
wont allow
broken fences
broken lives
broken tomorrows
broken nights
fallen, empty, and broken
every road is the same
bent, bruised, and shaken
still numb from the pain
now you dont answer
when i call out your name
fallen, empty, and broken
walking in the rain...
fallen, empty, and broken...

Emptiness Is Both An Illusion And An Irony
emptiness is always an illusion
which carries with it an irony.
when i look at it, as its content shows,
it has nothing
bare hands, opening fingers,
an empty transparent ball, it can
tell your future, it can dig your
past,
thinking that it is spacious, i went
inside it, pierce myself though it
only to find that that are so many
crowding elements in there and they
are choking me and you who is looking
outside it, thinks that nothing is happening
but then the struggle is horrible, quick
and even deadly, so many hang themselves in
empty air, and lose their lives, because
you cannot see the body of breathing,
when you learn to live with it however,
you become full, emptiness is its irony,
its antithesis, for how can you ever be full
if you have never known how to empty yourself?
the face of emptiness is a mist, and you touch
it, you will hold a forest, so many black birds,
myriad exotic orchids, so many blending sounds of
trees screaming, of creeks flowing of waterfalls
cascading that you can relate to the locks of
your hair and the hairs of your armpits,
inside it is too personal to be told, outside it
are so many denials with the faces of the people
that you have loved before, and then you decide
to stay at a distance, you are like a tree
dark as a shadow, counting the hours
when the sun finally fades away.

Revelations
I am lost inside myself
Thoughts foggy and slow
Trying, trying to corrall them
Gather them
Trying to wade through,
Make sense
Separate
Them
Yet...
I can hardly think
To begin with
I am lost inside myself
Or am I lost outside myself
A wandering soul
Misshapen and aimless
In a no man's land
Barren and colorless
Full of
Hopelessness
Full of
Fear
Full of
Sorrow
So much pain
In my shame
I am alone,
Empty,
Gone
To a nowhere
A place with no name
The world is full of suffering
And we are all to blame
Smoke and mirrors
The whole world is a stage
A broken facade
The evil peeks through
Wasting time on nonsense
Like we have something
To prove
Living our days
As if the future is far away
How much time do we
Have left?
Is it years?
Is it hours?
Don't you feel something like death...
Coming to devour
Us all?

Death Is Not The End
When youre sad and when youre lonely and you havent got a friend
Just remember that death is not the end
And all that youve held sacred, falls down and does not mend
Just remember that death is no the end
Not the end, not the end
Just remember that death is not the end
When youre standing at the crossroads that you cannot comprehend
Just remember that death is not the end
And all your dreams have vanished and you dont know whats up the bend
Just remember that death is not the end
Not the end, not the end
Just remember that death is not the end
When the storm clouds gather round you, and heavy rains descend
Just remember that death is not the end
And theres no one there to comfort you, with a helpin hand to lend
Just remember that death is not the end
Not the end, not the end
Just remember that death is not the end
Oh, the tree of life is growing
Where the spirit never dies
And the bright light of salvation shines
In dark and empty skies
When the cities are on fire with the burning flesh of men
Just remember that death is not the end
And you search in vain to find just one law abiding citizen
Just remember that death is not the end
Not the end, not the end
Just remember that death is not the end

Walking With The Lover...
walking with the Lover...
i see empty fields plowed,
come alive with crops abundant.
empty factory buildings filled
with the ghosts of hard working lives.
empty houses lit up,
and the sounds of families.
empty hands given cups and bowls,
empty hearts held close!
empty words given meaning,
empty promises fulfilled.
walking with the Lover...
touching the plenty of empty!

Ways Unfounded
God moves in ways we think not, when Godly faith becomes our lot,
Living daily, our faith prescribed, by He who lives, although He died.
Christ now lives, guiding those, following in faith, the One who rose,
Guiding us with Staff and Rod, is our Shepherd, our friend and God.
Leading believers in ways unfound, as God puts us on solid ground,
With our faith in the One who lives, His peace to us our Savior gives,
In a world that can appear hollow, He gives us vision when we follow,
Sight unfound in this world we see, but, a vision anchored in Eternity.
Man’s empty ways have such allure, in a dark world that is so unsure,
When what you see is what you get, in God’s Plan, simply doesn’t fit,
For all our faith, founded in Him, takes us beyond man’s empty whim,
When all earthly plans turn into dust, an enduring plan is ours by trust.
All God’s Ways we may not know, but with all them He helps us grow,
With all eyes on The Author of Life, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
As God helps believers to rise, in downtimes, much to man’s surprise,
For His Ways, by many are ignored, for they have no faith in our Lord.
But, the many who have believed, enduring Truths, they have received,
Although no one fully understands, this entire world is in God’s Hands,
God’s Will, shall be achieved friend, as this dark world will see its end,
As believers, move into Eternal Life, safely with, our Lord Jesus Christ.

The days have passed
The days have passed won and lost,
In a gesture copied to whatever love takes,
And memories wait to be quietly rescued,
From a lifetime of irreconcilable urges.
A worn vow parted from my heart,
And rolled into a tighter clasp,
To bind my soul still against the dying light,
Bruised with fierce tears I cannot gasp.
Perfect deeds within the obituaries,
Are as grief flown away on wings to the future,
Parting from the past like crystallite meteors,
Caught our memories and sank the waning fear.
The days have passed your home at last,
But we will always have the happy hours,
And carry each other’s secret at all cost,
In the wind and shadow that passes.
And sailed towards the isles that wait for me,
In beauty sleep the days have passed,
And the night is fast approaching eternity,
To where new life will conquer, win and lost.

Lips Will Measure
A perfect solution
was never found. The question
remained unanswered beyond
the skin. Stripped to the bone.
afraid of future,
you cannot invite the ending
and present will not continue
indefinetly. Unabated,
over and over again,
you hit the trail to drink the sun.
Pain and sorrow, hurts and grief,
is prescribed fear of unknown.
In the dark tunnel,
your numb limbs
search for an explanation.
The dialogues with stones
do not bring comparison.
You should remember your name.
The lips will measure the time.
Movement of fear begging
for unbuckling the dark
was like a calculated risk to alalyze
the wolf’s intentions.
They are hovering like inhuman
crimes. A potent hunger
walks out of the kitchen,
gouges out the peacock’s eyes.
Now rains will not come.

Fear
I smell it here, I smell it near
In our hearts, body and soul we wear
Fear! Year in and year out in full gear
Fear of death
Fear of rejection
Fear of loneliness
Fear of poverty
I hear it near, it stinks of hell my dear
In our hearts, body and soul we wear
Fear! Year in and year out in full gear
At times overwhelming and impossible to bear
Fear of being ridiculed
Fear of being single
Fear of being truthful
Fear of life always holding on to survive
Fear of change and what surprises it sprinkles
Fear of old age painted with priceless wrinkles
Let me tell it like Shakespeare
And make it plain and clear
Listen why be afraid of fear?
When fear itself can’t talk, walk, see nor hear!

Have It All
You're my size I need to try you on
Someone in between the right and wrong
Through everything you kept your wings apart
Through everything you scared the sinners
And when I've had enough
She drains me
When I'm empty
She helps herself
She takes it all
In too deep
She's spilling over me
In too deep
She's spilling over me
Don't wanna hear
Running through this maze you hold me in
Searching in a daze to find the out
Through everything you left your wings apart
I'm everything I'm anyone you want
And when I've had enough
She drains me
When I'm empty
She helps herself
She takes it all
In too deep
She's spilling over me
In too deep
She's spilling over me
Don't wanna hear
I'm everything you're everything I'm not
I'm anything I'm anyone you want
She drains me
When I'm empty
She helps herself
She takes it all
In too deep
She's spilling over me
In too deep
She's spilling over me
In too deep
She's spilling over me
In too deep
She's spilling over me

One of these days
This could have been just another day
To watch the world go by in silence
To stare at the lights
And it seems to come from nowhere
And mesmerizing those moments
You held me in your arms
Perhaps, maybe
One of these days
The leaves start to fall
And flew into the sky
Like those clouds that ran fast
That can never be hides
Through the passing wind
As you had promised
Beyond the highest tower
That has been drowned
In the ocean of tears
This could have been just another hour
To sit beneath the bridge of stone
And stare the sunset
And wait for another day
To cross the streets for you to reach out
And find the word goodbye
That I don’t know how
Somehow, one of these days
You’d rather say hello, and
Forget who I am
Like those empty skies
That longing for the stars
Waiting for a long day
To see them dazzling as neon lights
Like those words you had sworn
For more than a hundred times
That make my heart dance in a glow
This could have been just another minute
To embrace the cold breeze
That was passed my way
And to hold the shadow of the sun
Vanishing along within my palm
As holding dreams
That can never be mined
Maybe, one of these days
I will be as an autumn leaf
That was been forgotten by your heart
That dies in your soul
One of these days
I will be the tress,
Dancing in the wind
I will be the lights,
Reflected on water shade
That cannot be held, neither can you feel me

Stripping to the Bones
Now me, now not,
a thought is always there.
My genes navigate on collapsing walls,
words, dark mind, broken dreams.
But thought is always there.
I hold on firmly to sounds,
voices, tongues,
the thought is always there.
Brain goes into a nameless friction,
of aimless voyage
I rediscover the myth and abandon the zone of thoughts.
Distance becomes a wailing music.
Sitting between the flesh and bones
I recognise the relic of a window.
Let us dropp the years,
become timeless, empty and hollow.
Egocentric wind violates the lungs.
We cannot sing in praise of earth.
I walk through the body,
stripping to the bones, to find the seeds.
I refuse to pluck the flowers.

A Tongue No Longer Used
My thoughts crawl to paper
My heart the pen I hold
My tongue is but a rapier
But my ink my very soul
So I hold back my fowl tongue
And write instead my tears
Without a sound air escapes my lungs
For I have learned from years
Though sharp I can be I shall not
No glory in death be had
Instead I shall hold fast my lot
And make my place in life less sad
For when your life is made to kill
Your life cannot be true
For when it's others blood you spill
Their life spills unto you
No longer yourself but an empty shell
A place where you once lived
This place now your living hell
The happiness taken with the shiv.

Displaced
It began at birth, when she summoned
All her might against a steady rhythm
Forcing her through a dark and wet canal.
Twenty hours she held fast, until she felt
the forceps close on her head. She tried
to cry out, but her lungs and nostrils were
full of a thick, viscous fluid.
Although her eyes were closed, she felt the
Harshness of a light above, as she emerged.
Hands reached down and shoved something in
her nostrils to clear the fluid. The same hands
grasped her tiny ankles and lifted upward.
She began to retch, and felt her lungs
Empty more fluid.
A slap stung her backside forcing a scream;
She cried her first bitter tears;
Tears for the imprisonment of her spirit
Tears for the pain of physical density.
Tears of sorrow for her future death.

Solitude, Singing
Being alone is knowing
That in in this solitary splendour
Solitude, stark and staring,
Solitude, singing a lullaby
Solitude, singing a dirge
Surrounded by so many sundry things;
Things seen and unseen
Factors known and unknown
Solitude singing softly, chanting without ranting
Solitude’s songs that sing of solemn things
Silence singing golden songs
Silence healing ancient wrongs
If only silence could be
More than a memory
More than history
Silence can be more than words
Empty words echoing in an empty world
Echoing in empty valleys
Silence unspoken, unspoken, unbroken
Transfixed by time.

Introspection
If you go deep
Into the heart
What do you find there?
Fear, fear,
Fear of the jaws of the rock,
Fear of the teeth and splinters of iron that tear
Flesh from the bone, and the moist
Blood, running unfelt
From the wound, and the hand
Suddenly moist and red.
If you go deep
Into the heart
What do you find?
Grief, grief,
Grief for the life unlived,
For the loves unloved,
For the child never to be born,
Th'unbidden anguish, when the fair moon
Rises over still summer seas, and the pain
Of sunlight scattered in vain on spring grass.
If you go deeper
Into the heart
What do you find there?
Death, death,
Death tht lets all go by,
Lets the blood flow from the wound,
Lets the night pass,
Endures the day with indifference, knowing that all must end.
Sorrow is not forever, ad sense
Endures no extremities,
Death is the last Secret implicit within you, the hidden, the deepest
Knowledge of all you will ever unfold
In this body of earth.

A Pen Gone Dry
Barren fields…empty places
Mind devoid of idea and rhyme
Sterile imagination…featureless faces
Webs in memories, frozen in time
Fingers flaccid, mind unwilling
Heavy lies this heart of mine
Creative forces not fulfilling
Empty flask of poetic wine
Dried up source of poetic spring
Used up store of poetic phrases
Emptied purse with untied string
Like worn out shoes and old frayed laces
Time away… might grow the field
Time away… might fill the empty places
Perhaps time will let the emptiness yield
To imagination…and full featured faces
Now...inkwell empty
Tear in eye
Pristine paper
Pen... gone dry...

The Fury Of Jewels and Coal
Many a miner has gone
into the deep pit
to receive the dust of a kiss,
an ore-cell.
He has gone with his lamp
full of mole eyes
deep deep and has brought forth
Jesus at Gethsemane.
Body of moss, body of glass,
body of peat, how sharp
you lie, emerald as heavy
as a golf course, ruby as dark
as an afterbirth,
diamond as white as sun
on the sea, coal, dark mother,
brood mother, let the sea birds
bring you into our lives
as from a distant island,
heavy as death.
