Agony
Let me douse this flame
with tears.
My nightingale will sing no more.
Ringed by dragons,
I decide to tie knot with a tempest.
When the birds start dying
the frightened choir becomes dumb.
I wait for the butterfly effect:
the thought was deeper than pain.
Tension arises. I see the face
of a moon. Bound but free.
My security starts a guilt. It was immoral.
The forgetful, yellow bones of
a thin father, with a gift to fathom
the flute, takes hold of the wind.

The Three Maidens
There were three maidens met on the highway;
The sun was down, the night was late:
And two sang loud with the birds of May,
O the nightingale is merry with its mate.
Said they to the youngest, Why walk you there so still?
The land is dark, the night is late:
O, but the heart in my side is ill,
And the nightingale will languish for its mate.
Said they to the youngest, Of lovers there is store;
The moon mounts up, the night is late:
O, I shall look on man no more,
And the nightingale is dumb without its mate.
Said they to the youngest, Uncross your arms and sing;
The moon mounts high, the night is late:
O my dear lover can hear no thing,
And the nightingale sings only to its mate.
They slew him in revenge, and his true-love was his lure;
The moon is pale, the night is late:
His grave is shallow on the moor;
O the nightingale is dying for its mate.
His blood is on his breast, and the moss-roots at his hair;
The moon is chill, the night is late:
But I will lie beside him there:
O the nightingale is dying for its mate.

Untie The Knot
Like a pair of open wings, you bind me,
To a world, I helped you build around me,
Our gilded cage has turned into a prison cell,
Like a dream when it dies becomes an empty shell.
Untie the knot, the hold over me
you got
Untie the knot, the hold over me
you got
Like a slave who's bound in chains, a broken man,
Like a pain no one could ever understand
That's the spark that lights the fire deep inside
As long as you ain't no blue
in my sky,
Untie the knot, the hold over
me you got
Untie the knot, the hold over
me that you got
Set me free from these chains,
The time has come to
rearrange our destiny
Untie the knot, the knot,
Untie the knot, untie, untie, set me free, set me free.

In the strips of woods [În arcane de pădure]
In the strips of woods, the darkness in a scary way is clinging.
Both the crowded leaves are silent and the slender trees, so high;
Night is dumb, and sad, and dying, sheltered by the opaque sky,
But the nightingale is singing, but the nightingale is singing.
In the strips of woods, the tempest in a scary way is spinning,
Sending down a flood of water and a crimson bolt of flame;
Why is harmony a nuisance and a fury without aim,
But the nightingale is singing, but the nightingale is singing.
In the strips of woods, the terror with the quietness is mingling,
Late aurora under foliage cannot come to light the moss,
For in front of it the darkness blocks the way and lies across –
But the nightingale is singing, but the nightingale is singing.

I'm Free
I'm free
as free as the birds
as free as the clouds
as free as the wind.
I'm free to sing
even if my voice
is not like the voice of an angel
I'm free to dance
even if I'm out of the rhythm
I'm free to cry
even if it means to worry you
I'm free to laugh
even if my heart is aching
I'm free to love
even if it will only hurt me
I'm free to dream
even if I cannot reach it.
I'm free
as free as the birds
as free as the clouds
as free as the wind.
I'm free to be happy
even if I'm in the middle of crisis
I'm free to live
even if it will then
end in dying.
I'm free
as free as the birds
as free as the clouds
as free as the wind.
I'm free...
I'm free!

Butterfly Dreams and Angel Wings
my hands shiver in the cold
because you are not here for me to hold
and the summer rain starts to fall
while i'm still waiting for your call...
butterfly wings slowly take place
eventhough it's dark
and i can't see your face
as the moon says goodnight
and fireflies start to take flight...
all around me,
i can hear no sound,
no thunder, no lightning, only silence
i step out and stand in the rain
hoping that it will wash away the pain...
and angel wings took hold of me
slowly lifting me up to eternity
taking me to distant places
that are always full of hope and happiness...
then i suddenly opened my eyes
and i started to realize
it was just butterfly dreams
coming from my broken heart...
butterfly dreams and angel wings
are you really true?
or just a fantasy to make me blue?
butterfly dreams and angel wings
are you really there?
could you hold me
and never ever let go?

Visions Of A Sunset
Oh yeah
Lived all my days trying to embrace
Life with my heart by all the beauty
I feel and create it spins and moves
Flows at my pace telling its story
From the tear running down my face
Chorus:
Visions of a sunset just appear when
I close my eyes
Takes my closer to heaven when the
Flute starts to fly
And the violin cries
Confusion leaves while peace
Orchestrates runs through my
Veins and in other seekers it
Penetrates my reason why
The big city air smells so
Sweet takes me through journeys
In time from my youth to as
Far as I can see
Chorus
Its all I need in my life
Its all I need and no one
Can take your place by my side
Youre all inside of me
Chorus
Well free from all sorrow
Like the wind blows from the sky
Takes me closer to
Heaven when the
Flute starts to fly
And the violin cries

It Is Not What You Really Think...
figure out
what was done really?
all i do is ask
and wait
the offer stands and sits for sometime
until you say yes
i need your nod, your bow, you too have to make
the genuflection,
this world is not made of guilt or innocence
the people that we know
we did not divide as either sane or insane
moral or immoral
we respect them somehow
we call them their real names and tell them
that life is worth living
i wait, it you that must decide
this is a world of volition
free will, my dear, free will,
if nothing happens, i go somewhere else
where i am loved
where arms embrace me for what i am
where there is hope for what
i must become...

On A Bad Day
Everytime my tears
Have ever fallen
I keep 'em in my pocket
For a rainy day
So when it's pouring
I take them outside
I let the rain start washin'
My tears away
But on a bad day
When hearts are breaking
There's not enough rain to carry
All the tears away
Everytime I'm blue
I take my feeling
I hold it tighter
And I don't let go
When the sky gets whiter
And the air is colder
I throw my feeling
To the falling snow
Everytime my heart
My heart starts breaking
I take this pain
And I hold it down
And I wait for the wailing
When the wind is comin'
And my pain is blowin'
Through another town

River Of Love
(Sommers)
All of my life I've been so happy while I have had you by my side.
Now you say you're gonna leave me for to become someone else's bride.
Oh, the river of love it has gone muddy and the flowers, they are dying on the shore.
And the blue skies have all turned to darkness and the nightingale will sing no more.
What can I do to hide my sorrow, what can I do to ease the pain?
How can I keep these tears from falling? Oh, darling, won't you come back home again?
Oh, the river of love it has gone muddy and the flowers, they are dying on the shore.
And the blue skies have all turned to darkness and the nightingale will sing no more.
Tomorrow I will take you to the station, I will see that you're safely on that train.
When the Two-Nineteen has parted, I'll never ever see your smile again.
Oh, the river of love it has gone muddy and the flowers, they are dying on the shore.
And the blue skies have all turned to darkness and the nightingale will sing no more.
And the blue skies have all turned to darkness and the nightingale will sing no more.

The way it goes. (BY A 12 YEAR OLD)
The wind in your hair,
the wind in your face, the wind in your toes,
the wind up in space.
The wind down below,
or even up higher.
as cold as ice,
or as hot as fire.
When the wind tieds down,
the grass stops moving.
The trees are still,
and grandma starts snoring.
The day comes to night,
The sun turns to moon.
Then I have to wait,
till morning to use a spoon.
Good night my child,
now, you rest up good!
for now you'll be sleeping,
aswell as the neighborhood.
So as you sleep,
I'll continue to sing.
and when the day comes
you'll get the chance,
to sing to your kids, my love.

Tears Of Pain
Tears of pain stream down my although I know you're in a better place
Wishing I could see your face..,
Tears of pain stream down my face, I know you won the race.
All your pain finally ends, you and I were close friends,
Tears of pain stream down my face, I'll still be here in the end,
Tears of pain stream down my face this is something I can't take.
It wasn't fare for you to go; I have never felt a deeper hole.
Tears of pain stream down my face I feel
Your presence, in my place
I sure do miss that smiling face,
Tears of pain stream down my face,
You were the brightness to fill my greys,
Tears of pain stream down my face
I miss the feeling of embrace,
When looking at your wonderful face
Tears of pain stream down my face.
It came to soon, but your alright I try to talk to you every night.
now I know you're in a better place, The tears of pain have withered away.

Yellow Butterfly
Music : rudolf schenker, marti frederiksen
Lyrics: klaus meine
In the temple of gods
The day had come to come together
In the early morning sun
They saw that girl that come to heaven
They ask her bout life on earth
If it was getting any better
She told em someone took her life
If they could send her back
Just one more time
She knew that someone feels so blue
Wouldnt it be nice ...hold on
To spread the wings and fly ...dont kill the butterfly
To see him one more time ...hold on
To be a yellow butterfly ...dont kill the butterfly
Hes been sitting on the bay
Lost inside a cloud of darkness
When I saw the butterfly
Dancing in the wind
The story goes
He knew that she was still so close
Wouldnt it be nice ...hold on
To spread the wings and fly ...dont kill the butterfly
To see him one more time ...hold on
To be a yellow butterfly ...dont kill the butterfly

A Man with a Guitar
Men talk on the public square,
Pigeons eat on the sidewalk and fly,
Women flirt and feed the pigeons.
Men, envious of pigeons,
Desire more attention from the women
But women only notice birds who know how to sing.
There comes a nightingale that starts singing
And attention moves from pigeons to nightingales;
There comes a man with a guitar, and he starts playing
And singing like a nightingale.
A woman allured by these new sounds
Forgets the pigeons and nightingales;
She shyly starts to sing
And turns to a man with a guitar.

Dragons
In the year of the Jade Emperor,
In the time of the people’s pain,
The sun was hot, the people groaned
The sky gave up no rain;
‘The sky gave up no rain, ’ he said,
‘The ground was dry as a bone,
There were no rivers or lakes to feed
The crops that the people owned.
The rice lay waste in the paddy fields,
The people ate bark and clay,
While on the shores of the Eastern Sea
Four dragons laughed and played.’
‘These creatures, made of snake and claw,
Of horn, and fire and scale,
Looked down to see the people pray,
To hear the people wail,
So Black, and Yellow, Long and Pearl,
For these were the dragons’ names,
Felt sad for the people’s plight, and said,
“We must bring on the rain! ”
Without the rain, the people die,
They are so poor and thin,
We needs must enter at Heaven’s Gate
So He will intervene! ’
‘They flew to the Jade Emperor
Who promised to send them rain,
But then sat back with his minstrel songs,
Forgot the people’s pain.
For ten long days the dragons paused
To wait the darkening clouds,
But only saw the people cry,
Lay out their dead in shrouds.
They laid their dead in shrouds, ’ he said,
‘The lastborn to the first,
The dragons said, “He heeds us not,
Won’t slake the people’s thirst.”’
‘The dragons flew to the Eastern Sea,
They knew it would bring them pain,
But to ease the hurt of the brown, dead earth
What else, but the soothing rain?
Now, dragons’ care for man’s despair,
His hopes, his joys, his tears,
They send their many blessings down,
Relieve the people’s fears.
They flew on out to the Eastern Sea
Its waters so clear and deep,
They flung it up to the heavens high
That what they’d sow, they’d reap.’
Then down it came in a storm of rain
That fed the people’s joy,
They laughed aloud at this water cloud
That the dragons had employed.
The moment the Jade Emperor
By the Sea God was informed,
He stamped and raged, and bellowed loud
That he would not be scorned!
He called his Generals and his troops,
To make the dragons’ answer,
Then called the Mountain God to him
To lie on them forever!
Caught fast beneath a mountain each
The dragons still were glad,
They’d saved the people from their pain,
The price they paid was sad;
But not unbearable, they thought,
So Long, and Black and Yellow,
With Pearl, devised another plan
That they might ever follow.
They turned themselves to rivers wide
To flow across each valley,
From West to East, the Long, the Black,
The Pearl flows, and the Yellow.
Four dragons’ that once cared for man,
Four dragons’ spread their tails,
They fed the crops that man might eat,
Might sing or dance, not wail;
The Heilongjiang is River Black,
The Dragon of the north,
And south of him, the Huanghe flows,
The Yellow Dragon’s course;
The Yangtze is the Dragon Long,
The Changjiang, to the mouth,
While Pearl is now the Zhujiang,
The Dragon of the south.

Homecoming
The yellow beaked vultures were waiting.
A cloth bag contains the bleached
remains; his father.
Impeccable gift unmasked.
After the inferno, hydrants went dry. The guilt survives
the dispossession, pondering over the black dew
now covering the pink roses.
The illusion persists. Master is coming home.
jug was empty. A miracle will start
the kitchen. An infant cries in the backyard.
The windows were sleeping. Let the sun
stand outside. A yellow moon at night will
open the door.

Yellow Butterfly.
Gently flapping it's thin wings,
A butterfly lands upon my fingers,
And upon a soft breeze it leaves,
Yet it's delicate presence lingers.
Sunny yellow rimmed it's wings.
With dark daffodil yellow rings,
Pure coal black traced it's veins,
It's image - in my mind - remains.
Such a soft and delicate brush,
Of a butterflies wings, so plush,
The softest touch of it's tiny legs,
Lifted my spirits - well, the dregs.
That butterfly, that passed me by,
The messenger between land and sky,
Has stayed lodged in my mind,
I'll never meet another of it's kind,
A single butterfly, while I was alone,
Came to me and my world was thrown,
But I'll never forget that yellow butterfly,
That left me when I let out a soft sigh,
A soft sigh that came from me,
Swept my butterfly, set it free,
This is my butterfly that I'll remember,
My butterfly from last September.

Without You Here
This pain runs so deep
I think of you and start to weep
At night I get restless sleep
Wishing that you'd just forgive me
I look at the pills and wonder if it'd be easier to die and forget your memory
This pain is taking hold of me
I feel the tears roll down my face and feel like such a disgrace
I want to hold your hand
Help me up for I can't stand
I love you and cringe at the thought of you with another
I want to be your only lover
Please take this pain away
I can't take it here another day
Wondering if I ever cross your mind
I know your always on mine
I know in my heart that your the one
In this life I'm lost without you and its hard to go on
I wait for your call
But don't hear from you at all
I look to the sky
And with tears in my eyes I let you go and say goodbye
I'm sorry baby don't forget your love for me

Ripples
what i do always creates ripples
sometimes we forget about this
when a butterfly's wing is broken
it too creates a ripple in the wind
when a mouse is trapped
the chickens have reasons to be restless
when a dog cannot howl at night
the moon becomes wary about it
when i gaze and throw nothing but silence
you may not believe it but the world trembles
when the world starts to slow down
it soon follows that mosquitoes get frozen
things and people and event are always interconnected
like ripples of the pond like dimples on the cheek of the battered woman
one cannot fathom this
because there is not much pain yet

I Shall Cry These Tears No More
For everything happen for a reason. Blame no one nor yourself accept the changes and challenges within. Cry these tears no more
for if somethings get tough in life its not your fault cry no more. For a mother lost at a young age its painfull but i shall dropp these tears no more
children dying at the young age loosing parents and become house hold heads please hold on because God is here always cry these tears no more
my mom died when i was an infant what did i know? But with God i still have a father i shall cry these tears no more
our youth is dying. Can we do anything please dry that face i shall cry no more
i shall wet these face no more with tears if i can speak today and walk read and write if i still feel all things that means im alive and thank God
remember nothing is hard or impossible make it a point to achieve and therefore i shall cry these tears no more
