The Faithful God

In a sudden stunt action
If, God who sits always idle
Shows up His very presence
…………in front of me;
and orders me to list out
my wants and desires, which
He is pleased to grant, at once,
by His powers of miracles.

Bewildered….I may certainly babble
as I do not keep
a ready list of items of demands
on my table

for, I have a cart load
of demands of various nature
and needed some grasping time
to arrange them in a priority order.

to avoid slippages or miss out of
any crucial, potential offers

Though I believe and worship in Him
I was never sure that He would come up
alive like this……….and without notice,

And in view of the difficulties stated herein
I would only request Him

To re-appear again
after a week's time
If, He is so faithful
In His promises just disclosed by Him

I Don't Do Demands

I don't do demands!

I 'may' take a request,
Every now and then.
Very cautiously.

At one time...
I would dropp whatever I was doing,
To be at someone's beck-and-call.
I had to put an end to that.
Some folks began making suggestions,
As to how I could do for them...
A better job!
YES.

'Maybe you should do it this way.
So and so said...'

I don't do demands!
I 'may' take a request,
Every now and then.
Very cautiously.

And...
Very cautiously,
I ask myself...
IF I am prepared to receive critique,
By the one who has asked for my assistance.

I don't do demands.
Especially made by those who say...
'Will you do this for me.
AND make comments.'

~I feel very appreciative,
You are demanding of my time.
AND...
You would like my comments,
As to how that time of mine I've spent...
Was enjoyed.
I'm getting goosebumps already.
I am shivering all over with just the thought of it.~

Art Consumes Flame Immortal Souls

What is the curse of no time
for any artist for all artists?

Art demands time
all consuming time

times of precise reflection
times of informative focus
times of intense productivity
times of perceptive clarity
times of felt vision testimony
times of account sensitivity
times of passion commentary
times of creative outpourings
times of artistic servitude

means art more demands
than a mere pound of flesh

art demands fibres of our being
art demands neurons identities
art demands touch sound stimuli
art demands light radiant souls
art demands devotes of the mind
art demands paid vision ransoms
art demands intense internal bleeding
art demands pain waltz symphonies
art demands epic universal certainties

art demands artists lifetime creations
art consumes flame immortal souls

Too Patient

When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
That no longer exist.

I had placed people,
Who I considered friends on this list.
And for years they had been on it...
Doing and saying things to me as they wished.
Some don't speak to me.
But my name is on their lips.

When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
That should not on my list exist!

Very few on my priority list,
Have me on their agenda.
And if they do,
I'm sure it's for fun, sport and gossip.

When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
I couldn't not explain...
Why some names had hearts near them.
Did I do that?
Did I draw them in?

I use to dropp every and anything,
To be at someone's aide.
Some people I would call everyday...
Just to see if they were okay.
I've even allowed my own work to be submitted...
So folks could get their college degrees.
Joking about this,
I am not!
I have been the subject of innuendos and lies,
As if my life meant nothing at all.
To leave me to walk around with 'my' pain disguised.

Then I awakened and realized.
I am considered a fool!

Today...
When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
That no longer exist.

And wondered to myself 'WHY'...
Is this stuff still 'there'.
Get rid of it!
This makes no sense.
Why do you have these people's lives,
Prioritized?

'That is being too patient!
Fix this and get this done quick! '
I have moments when I am completely rational.

In a Position to Be Used

Let's not get confused about this!
When I said I do not care...
I don't!
But let me clarify that.

I do not care to burden my priority list.
Right now you are not on it.
But that should not anger you.
You should be pleased.
At least I'm doing something for myself.
And not asking you to loan me ten dollars.

You didn't think of it that way,
Did you?

And those folks I keep on my priority list?
Are not as close to me as one might think.
In fact,
I am more in their lives...
Than they are in mine!
They know why I keep in touch.

So, let's not get confused about this!
When I said I do not care...
I don't!
And I hope I've clarified that?
Now...
If you ever get yourself in a position to be used?
Let me know.
I can always make some rearrangements.

10 Offences

Dear _ _ _ _ _

The way you have been acting lately
Has been despicable
Your actions have upset me dearly.
Due to these behaviors
A list has been made
Of all your prior offenses

1. You never try to contact me first
2. You Lie
3. You make feel like a stand in
4. You're emotionally abusive
5. You've hit me
6. You criticized me in public
7. You never disclosed your relationship status
8. You make unreasonable demands
9. You test me all the time
10. You cheated to cause jealousy

Despite everything I'm still standing
So in a way I am thankful for your ways
The torture from you has set me free
To be who I want to be

If I didn't have
Any respect for you
I would write
Your name
Right here
_ _ _ _ _
Your an a55h01e

Fallen Twigs

Not one interest do I have,
To be caught up in the mix...
And added to the list,
Of unfortunate statistics.

Too many lessons I have learned,
From feeding those yearnings that burned...
To leave me mentally drained and physically sick,
Because of desires I had to be a part of it.

Not one interest do I have,
To be caught up in the mix...
And added to the list,
Of unfortunate statistics.

Too many I have seen that were demeaned,
After exhausting themselves for someone else...
To be left as fallen twigs.
To wither of potential that held promises to bloom.

Love, passion and lust

Love demands no right;
Love demands no weight;
Love demands no return.
A mother thus loves.

Passion demands hold;
Passion demands right;
Passion demands return.
A woman can translate it.

Lust finds no ethics;
Lust exudes no fear.
Lust demands no reason.
A man is adept of it.

What A Scary Thing

It is quite a fearful thing
When you're in the presence of the King
What a scary event
When you realize this body is just a tent
It is fearful to hear the voice of God
We say we want signs
We say we want miracles
Atheists say they want God to speak
But they, and we, know not what we ask
To hear Almighty God
This voice is still and small
But it sways the hearts of men
It demands action
Do you really want Him to speak?
Can you handle what He'll say?
Almighty God's voice
What a scary and awesome power
The voice that called the universe to be
Is the voice that's calling me
The voice that's calling you

I don't think you know what this means
This demands our lives
Our souls
Our everything
Are you ready for this voice?
Will you answer the call?
Now you know what you ask
So don't ask amiss
Know that you appeal to the greatest power
Of all
Humble yourself before Christ
And then boldly approach the throne of grace

That is all that you ask when you ask
To hear God
So be careful
The voice of God
What a scary thing!
And yet what a loving voice
Absolutely perfect
Love

Amen

Gratefully Not Available

No thanks!
Scratch me off your list.
No matter where I appear on it.

You call...
After all these years.
To have a confrontation,
Or to leave me in tears?
Which is it?

A call to see how I am doing?
To ask who I am screwing of late?
What audacity you have,
To think I am here waiting?
I'm surprise you're still alive!
I have no intentions to return to your jive.

No thanks!
Scratch me off your list.
No matter where I appear on it.

I am doing well.
And I hope you are too.
I have no animosity in my heart for you.
I have gone on with my life...
Inspired and motivated.
Is that what you do?

You want us to discuss what went wrong?
You want us to reconnect,
To make what you left stronger...
From your point of view?
You must be crazed to believe those days,
With you I wish to relive.
To raise more havoc I rid from myself...
To invite back with you to live?
You're nuts!

No thanks!
Scratch me off your list.
No matter where I appear on it.
And no matter what thoughts you had,
And still have of me...
I appreciate your call.
However...
Erase from your mind,
Any memories you believe I still cherish.

No thanks!
Scratch me off your list.
No matter where I appear on it.
In fact...
Burn it!
And connect this to your mind:
'For you there is not time!
It has gone.
And I am gratefully not available! '

You Only Need The Heart The Soul

to be a poet
(what they think is needed is the
discipline to fully master the craft)
one needs (however)
only the heart
the soul, the rest when summoned
properly
comes without much
hesitation, for in time, when you are
true and faithful
words come like servants
and arrange themselves like furniture
the chairs walk in
to form the dining set
with the center table
the curtains hang themselves
on window borders
to form a frame
a perfect perspective
to view the sea
of art.

Diminished Cash

Do I want this?
Or is it needed?
Do I wait until a craving demands?
Or do I resist...
Until I feel it as a command?
With a clarity I understand.
But can afford to ignore it.
Since I refuse to get it on credit...
Or seek a loan I will regret.
And if I can do that...
I can remove it from my wish list!
To keep payments off my back,
That leaves diminished cash...
A commodity,
That seems to grow more unfamiliar.

A Need To Be Rejected

I have yet to meet anyone,
Who had a need to be rejected.
I have yet to hear with my ears,
From anyone's lips...
A request from them begging for it.

And yet there are those who reject others,
As if to smother them with neglect.
With a doing of it,
To express no regret or appear to be apologetic.

There are exceptions to the rule of this,
When inflicted and applied...
To those who do this and deny.
They will exlaim when the tables are turned on them,
A wholesomeness within them sits.
And all they do is give of themselves to others.
But the others have druthers to choose the opposite.
With rejection on top of their priority list.

I have yet to meet anyone,
Who had a need to be rejected.
I have yet to hear with my ears clearly,
A request from them begging for it.
Begging and pleading from trembling lips,
To get as much rejection as they can get.
Have you?

She Considers Insignificant

Everyone has a wish,
To influence with their unsolicited opinion.
Until Mother Nature arrives,
With a getting of all the attention...
To express a caring less,
Who belives what with their decision to make.
Or which entitlements deserve a serving to whom first.
Somehow and for whatever reason,
Earth sits at the top of Mother Nature's list.
And everything else below it She considers insignificant.
Have you ever noticed it?
You haven't?
Even those less selfish have notice this.

A Greater Love Then Thee

I love you far too much
you love me far too little
this is a recipe for disaster
this is a recipe for separation
this is not enough to bind our love
through the sad days and the bad days.

Where are you, when I need you, so much?
When you need me, I always make time, rush.
You are presently, incapable of giving, me enough.
I so often miss, the pleasure comfort, of your touch.
When we are together, it is, absolutely magic.
When apart for me, it is so, absolutely tragic.

You keep my heartfelt; pure love for rainy days.
For when you need me; but you can never stay.
Love demands, more than a few, infrequent fleeting moments.
Love demands, more than a few scraps, of precious momentary time.
You are never going to find; another great love; like mine.
I am faithful scorpio; that loves; with everything mine.

I must love totally or forsake mediocrity
I seek in return that you love me totally
I seek that in return she love me totally.
Or set me free; to love with passion; heightened intensity.
I need my soul sort lover; that loves totally; for an eternity.
I need her loyal; faithful; in blessed beautified monogamy.

Metaphysical Discussion

inside the class in philosophy
the professor stans, an old jesuit, with a long white beard,
on a very silent disposition, like a buddhist monk, but in white cassock,
he sits there in front of us, puts his black book on the table,
sits like a Frenchman, and begins to open his mouth, stands
and writes on the blackboard:

WHAT IS DEATH?

that is the lesson for the day, the year was 1982, at the ateneo
de manila university, his name was Fr. O'shaugnessy, Irish, and wise,
finished his doctorate in Loyola University, and he looks at me and
asks me, 'What is death, Ric? '

and i had the answer ready from the metaphysics of Hiedegger

. The word.... has a crucial role in the work of...Hiedegger. Hiedegger defines....an individual's confrontation
with meaningless
and the discovery that the only
justification for one's demeanor
comes from within....that responsibility will
therefore be acknowledged.

that i will surely die
but between life and death
i must be responsible enough
for confront the inevitable
later
that for the meantime
i must live
and confront the demands of life....

and then my teacher
faced the wall, not listening well about
what i had been saying
on the verbosity of it all

and he wrote on the blackboard
below what is death,

what will you do if you will die today?

write an essay, he made the instruction.
i did not submit anything

and for that he gave me an 'A'.

Natural flavor

You opened up like rose
Spread from all sides as you chose
I could sense your presence through nose
It smelt and spread because….

I wanted her along with natural flavor
As she was gifted with natural fervor
All qualities were with her nature
She was the one for which I was very much sure

She teased me by saying "no relation with you"
For a second I was taken back and believed it true
She had come so much close to me
Now I was in position to explain it free

I asked if she was ready to align with
She crushed her tongue in between the teeth
I got wind of it and accepted her answer
She was for it and acknowledged it as follower

It was not going from stated position
We were nice pair with good combination
Her beauty was like glittering gold with original shine
I felt my self very much lucky sailing in heaven

"Aisha" is my real name and stand for promise
You have not at all made sudden surprise
I was in need of gentleman who could take me along
Certainly I am confident and feel never to go wrong

For me relation is not for fun
I can't make everybody sing and run
I am faithful and wish the same
As man are not predictable worth the name

"I am prepared to join you in few days time"
She was bold enough to admit it any time
She needed my answer with firm commitment
I did not hesitate and consented within a moment

She may be relaxed now with my consent
She might have witnessed all the qualities present
I was sure to sail in her boat for life journey
Only needed one last blessings from the almighty

Ride On

Way down deep dark and funky
Tie me tightly to your bed
Ride on lady I'm your monkey
Yes the organ grinder's getting weird

Will our last dollar bill be dragged from the sand
Of another man's land?
Another man riding on another man's dream
April come on our blue farm

They may issue
I don't want to miss you
I'm going to blitz you
I don't want to miss you
I put you on my list you
I put you on my list you

Way down deep dark and funky
Tie me tightly to your bed
Ride on lady I'm your monkey
Yes the organ grinder's getting wet
Ride On

Will our last dollar bill be dragged from the sand
Of another man's land?
Another man riding on another man's dream
Seen in the doorway is the bedroom alight
Lucky is the strike
It's alright
Just caught you playing with a light

I may issue
I don't want to miss you
I'm going to blitz you
I don't want to miss you
I put you on my list you
I put you on my list you

April come on our blue farm
