Speed
Speed
Knows no course
Though the goals set
But norms
Laid to rest
Displaces
Aesthetics of life
Childhood youth old age ostracised
Scientific achievements
Landmarks, discoveries
And all physical movements
Unnoticed
Pass into oblivion
For that which helps realise an event
Bathed in speed
Beginning or end
Or course being traversed
All wedded together
Oh! Let the honeymoon end.

Fill A Bumper of Water
Fill a bumper of water that's pure from the spring,
Bright sparkling and clear as the glass,
And with rapture the joyous emotions we'll sing,
Which enliven our hours as they pass
We'll spurn the rude mirth of the wine-bibber's bowl,
While our Abstinence pleasures exceed it,
And we give you the Pledge with our heart and our soul,
Here's success to the cause and God speed it,
God speed it-God speed it,
Here's success to the Pledge, and God speed it.
Surrounded by virtue, by beauty, and youth,
Dear woman we drink to thy charms;
If we pledge thee in water, we pledge thee in truth
And we take thee with joy to our arms.
Go look at our homes and observe the glad smile,
What welcome on earth can exceed it,
Where affection thus greets us our cares to beguile,
Then success to the Pledge, and God speed it,
God speed it-God speed it,
Success to the Pledge and God speed it.
Tho' we boast not of wealth yet we gladly impart
To a brother a share of our store,
And we hail him with feelings of joy from the heart,
When the slave of Intemperance no more;
Our motto is sympathy, friendship and love,
And aid to a friend should he need it,
Our Charter's recorded by Angels above,
Then success to the Pledge and God speed it,
God speed it-God speed it,
Success to the Pledge and God speed it.

The Speed Of Love
Words by neil peart, music by geddy lee and alex lifeson
Love is born with lightning bolts
Electro-magnetic force
Burning skin and fireworks
A storm on a raging course
Like a force of nature,
Love can fade with the stars at dawn
Sometimes it takes all your strength
Just to keep holding on
At the speed of love
A radiance that travels
At the speed of love
My heart goes out to you
Love is born with solar flares
From two magnetic poles
It moves towards a higher plane
Where two halves make two wholes
Like a force of nature,
Love shines in many forms
One night we are bathed in light
One day carried away in the storms
At the speed of love
Nothing changes faster
Than the speed of love
My heart goes out to you
We dont have to talk
We dont even have to touch
I can feel your prescence
In the silence that we share
Got to keep moving
At the speed of love
Nothing changes faster
Than the speed of love
Got to keep on shining
At the speed of love
Nothing changes faster
Than the speed of love
My heart goes out to you

Speed
Running from the nightmare
In the middle of the road
Hells no place for sleeping
In a world beyond control
Caught in the headlights
Coming after you
When I woke up this morning
I had to do what I gotta do
Blast me to heaven for loving you
Blast me to heaven for loving you
Speed
Give me what I need
Yeah
White lightning
Lets speed, on speed
On wheels, on wheels
Speed
Oh, let it bleed
Yeah
Greased lightning
Lets speed, on speed
On wheels, on wheels
Ive seen a train full of pain
On the edge of overload
Were in heaven, baby
You are gonna implode
Ive got these crazy feelings
That I cant explain
Ive gotta save you baby
Or Ill die in vain
Blast me to heaven for loving you
I said blast me to heaven just for loving you
I said speed
Give me what I need
Yeah
White lightning
Lets speed, on speed
On wheels, on wheels
Speed
Oh, let it bleed
Yeah
Greased lightning
Lets speed, on speed
On wheels, on wheels
Blast me to heaven for loving you
I said blast me to heaven for loving you
Now Im rushing on the run, yeah
I wanna have me some fun
Ill speed
Give me what I need
Oh, set me free
Lets speed
On wheels, on wheels, on wheels
Said speed
Oh, let it bleed
Yeah
White lightning
Lets speed, on speed
On wheels, on wheels
Comon
I said speed, speed
Give me what I need
I said speed, speed
Give me what I need
Alright

Achievements
Most people think of achievements
in only monetary terms,
but achievements have nothing to do with money.
They are the goals in life
that our hearts desire.
Someone in a wheelchair enters a marathon
and when they cross the finishing line,
they have achieved something for themselves,
proving they can do anything
if they really want to try.
When we put pen to paper
and finish whatever we are about to write.
We have achieved something
no one can ever take away.
Each day we set ourselves
little goals to achieve
and when we have done them,
we move on to another one.

Helldriver (live)
When you take your steering wheel
When you speed up your engine
Your rage makes up your counter
Hell spins and burns your tires
Hit and run again, I eat when I can
I have no limits, my life is a risk
Let's speed the road hog
His sheet - iron is hot
The helldriver and his damnation
Speed up in hell to run so fast
When the sound of metal raises
When the smoking valves make a din
Fuel and oil are my blood
The law is over I'm out
If you want to stop the speed freak
Prepare a good plan to do it
Cos he's always in the red zone
And he's a runner
of the hell road

Faster Than The Speed Of The Night
(Jim Steinman)
I don't want to let another minute got by
They're slipping tho ough out finger, but we're ready to fly
The night'll be our cover and we'll huddle below
We got the music in our bodies and the radio
And when the mourning arrives it'll all be gone
Disappearing in (to) the crack of dawn
We better make our move now before the sun is awake
It's time to put up or shut up and to pick up the pace
And I don't want to let another minute go by
Love is going to get us while the moon is in the sky
We may be running out of night, but never running out of steam
We're acting on a hunch, and we'll be acting out a dream
There really isn't any time to lose
They're going to catch us if we wait until it gets too light
You're such a pretty boy
Let me show you what to do, and you'll do it
But you gotta move faster
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
It's all we ever wanted
And it's all we'll ever need
And it's slipping through our fingers
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
It's all we ever wanted
And it's all we'll ever need
And it's slipping through our fingers
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
Faster than the speed of night
Let me show you how to drive me crazy
Let me show you how to make me feel so good
Let me show you how to take me to the edgeof the stars and then back again
You've gotta show me how to drive you crazy
You've gotta show me all the things you want to happen to you
We've gotta tell each other everything we always wanted someone to do
I don't want to push you now and I don't want to rush
We're getting closer every second now, but close is not enough
The night'll be our cover and we'll huddle below
We got the musicin our fingers and the radio
There really isn't any time to lose
We're going to lose it if we wait until it gets too light
You're such a pretty boy
Let me show you what to do, and you'll do it
But you gotta move faster

Im A Lover Not A Fighter
Well I met a pretty girl, as pretty as can be
I thought she was my baby till she introduced to me
A great big tall fella, about six foot tall
I shivered and I shook, couldnt do any more
cause Im a lover not a fighter
Yes, Im a lover not a fighter
Yes, Im a lover not a fighter
And Im really built for speed
Built for speed
Well, some people think Im lazy but theres one thing they dont know
cause when Im in the mood I can go caddy[? ] go
cause Im a lover not a fighter
Yes, Im a lover not a fighter
Yes, Im a lover not a fighter
And Im really built for speed
Built for speed
Built for speed
Whoa yeah
Well I can roar like a lion, I can sting like a bee
But some times I think, baby, Ive got rabbit blood in me
cause Im a lover not a fighter
Yes, Im a lover not a fighter
Yes, Im a lover not a fighter
And Im really built for speed
Built for speed
Built for speed
Whoa yeah

Zoom
as the zoom of the universe conquers the
limelight of creation, life becomes the
immanent domain of existence
life has to start with a zoom, and the book
of Genesis reveals the pre- existed power
of Zoom, as a living testimony that mankind
has gone a process of power light of life
when everything goes down, everybody wants
to goes up and when all are getting slow
everyone likes to speed- up, as fast as the
wind blows
life comes in an speed of light, and made of
speed of dust, what great marbels the maker
of Zoom, where mankind wants to start up
with a zoom in their hearts
it is the fullnest of life that the perfect zoom of
power be settled in each lives, where the
perfect fulfillment be seen in our daily life
let it be the jumpstart of every beginning to
use the innate power bestowed in us, and
may this experienced of knowing ourselves
be the perfect Zoom, to zoom others to
face today's adversity

Full Speed Ahead
Full speed ahead my child
God is right by your side
Full speed ahead my child
Hate will not come close to
Where love abides
Full speed ahead my child
No turning back
You've got nothing to hide
And He is on your side
Full speed ahead my son
You've changed the course of history
Something never thought could be done
Go forth in peace my child
Let not pride in your heart abide
Stand firm in your beliefs
As others watch in disbelief
Now full speed ahead my child
Do your job with pride
Thus saith the Lord!
For he has spoken
And his words can never be broken
As you go full speed ahead
Tarry for the living and not for the dead
Don't forget to keep the Lord in view
No matter what valley you might be travelling through
Go forth in peace my child
Full speed ahead
You are Barack Obama
Born to lead
No longer will you be judged by your color or creed
So full speed ahead
Never look back
God is taking you on a journey
He has got your back!

Speed Demon
I'm headed for the border
It's on my mind
And nothin' really matters
I've got to be on time
Look in the view mirror
Is he hot on my tracks
Is he getting nearer
I feel some heat is on
My back
(Speed demon)
Speedin' on the freeway
Gotta get a leadway
(Speed demon)
Doin' it on the highway
Gotta have it my way
(Speed demon)
Mind is like a compass
I'm stoppin' at nothin'
(Speed demon)
(He say) pull over boy and
Get your ticket right...
And nothin' gonna stop me
Ain't no stop and go
I'm speedin' on the midway
I gotta really burn this road
(Speed demon)
Speedin' on the freeway
Gotta get the leadway
(Speed demon)
Doin' it on the highway
Gotta have it my way
(Speed demon)
Mind is like a compass
I'm stoppin' at nothin'
(Speed demon)
(He say) pull over boy and
Get your ticket right...

Speed Queen
1) I like green grass and I like pontiacs
I like cheap clothes and boys thatll never know
When the wind blows, I smell el porto
So I keep cigarettes, down in my panty hose
And I roll like thunder
2) Ive got a fairlane, I drive with my dog flame
Hes got a red scarf and we sell cocaine
I smoke mistys, and I got red knees
I sweat hair gel, when I do the hard sell
And we roll like thunder
Chorus -
Speed queen
Speed queen
3) I like young things and I like cheap flings
Flame likes pinball so we hang at the shopping mall
I run red lights, stay out all night
So when I get busted, remember who you trusted
And that we rolled like thunder

The Speed Of Candy
Panic
Frenzy
My love is near
Panic
Frenzy
My love is here
But theres one thing
I know I need you to deliver me
With all the speed of candy
Whoa, Im a sugar queen, so
Shoot me with the speed
That I need
Panic
Five a.m.
My love sleeps
Panic
Six a.m.
My mind creeps
But theres one thing
I know I need you to deliver me
With all the speed of candy
Whoa, Im a sugar queen, so
Shoot me with the speed
That I need
And when its over
My teeth will be like glue
Is it true thats all I need?
Come on and feed me candy
Candy
Whoa, were all on the sugar team, so
Shoot me with the speed
That I need
Its the speed that I need
Its the speed that I need
Its the speed

It Is Best to Rely on Intuition
To be definite about directions taken,
Can be traumatic for someone
Unprepared for an alternate route to take.
Usually roadblocks don't offer tips...
Or precise landmarks to speed the journey!
With no guarantee anyone has heard
Anything about the destination
And whether it exists at all!
In these situations...
It is best to rely on intuition!

At The Speed Of Life
(jack hues)
A man lives in the city
Surrounded by machines
They take away his pity
And give him what he dreams
A stream of information
On a green letter screen
Makes him feel in touch with the world
And sure of what it means
Chorus:
At the speed of light youre in endless night
At the speed of sound you dont see the ground
And in your sports car with the windows down
And the radio on and you dont stop talking
Thanks, Ill keep walking
Im doing things in my own way
Well Im doing things as I please
And then everything else goes its own way
At the speed of life
A man lives in the city
Distracted by the news
From sitting down with the ones he loves
Or taking time to choose
And what of conversation?
And what is left when he dies?
Is there a diary of an honest man
To stand against the lies?
Repeat chorus
Im doing things for their own sake
A picture on a screen wont do
I need to feel and touch it too
Do what I feel
Im doing things for their own sake
I gotta find that essential, deep emotion
Get unhooked from this low commotion
And do what I feel
Im doing things in my own way
Im doing things in my own way
Well Im doing things as I please
And then everything else goes its own way
At the speed of life
This is the speed of life

Mr. Speed
You need lovin', you're lookin' out for new romances
Yeah, it's true, you know you've got to take your chances
When i laugh, well baby don't you know you can cry
'cause you ain't enough lady, to keep the master satisfied, yeah
Well, you know, i got the kind of lovin' that you need
The kind of lovin' that you need
I'm so fast, that's why the ladies call me mr. speed
They call me mr. speed
You try pleasin', but gettin' on your knees don't make it
You try teasin', but baby you can't even fake it, no
Made it clear, but baby you can't even see me
So stop those tears 'cause baby you can't even deceive, ah, ah
Yeah, you know, i got the kind of lovin' that you need
The kind of lovin' that you need
I'm so fast, that's why the ladies call me mr. speed
Look out
Ow, i don't care
Yeah, you know, i got the kind of lovin' that you need
The kind of lovin' that you need
I'm so fast, that's why the ladies call me mr. speed
Mr. speed
Yeah, you know, i got the kind of lovin' that you need
The kind of lovin' that you need
I'm so fast, that's why the ladies call me mr. speed
