Google, The Genie
Google, literally means that large number
Besides 1, if hundred zeros slumber.
It's search engine that runs at fastest
At speed above supersonic and jet.
To experience a thing need not ogle,
Explore through and links of Google.
Any sort of information sought,
In a fraction of second it is brought.
All about the galaxy and the globe
Just Google, there you can probe.
Event, incident, person and place
Old or current, Google helps trace.
Virtual panorama of the universe
Visit Sun, Moon, Earth or Mars.
Know your multilevel family tree
Through Google absolutely free,
Find the friend relatives forgotten,
Refresh your knowledge or lesson.
It's obedient to grandma like a Jinn
Taking command search her medicine.
When slips name of Benson, her 'grandson'
'Search in Google', says giggling Benson.

Some say Google is God. Others say Google is Satan. But if they think Google is too powerful, remember that with search engines unlike other companies, all it takes is a single click to go to another search engine.

Googling
You can Google yourself
All day and all night
You can Google yourself
And no one will mind
You can Google your brains out
That too is all right…
But if you Google tooo much…
You just might go blind

It is very similar to companies like Google and other internet companies. When you go and search on Google you don't pay for that. But sometimes you click on an advert and Google makes money on that.

For I Am The Coldest Spot Of This Earth
perhaps this woman is taking her revenge on me
i who have not spoken for days since i am attached to a screen
of this tablet,
on the same routine tonight as i write these lines
(of course, i am not talking still in defense of my poetry)
she enters my study room, opens her personal computer,
presses some letters, google, google, google maclintok
a vacation for one in palawan,
calypso, victoria's secret and it will be till
11 o'clock in the evening when i am not still going to bed
and sleep
and perhaps snore
it is getting even with me
who cares less for affection, who sets aside love in favor of
poetry and
the search of this self,
i am not troubled, i am determined, i am still in there
whatever i must lose, i am not swayed
back into her fire arms, for i am water, i am rain, i am the coldest
spot of this earth.

I actually think most people don't want Google to answer their questions; they want Google to tell them what they should be doing next.

Google Poem = 2012 By Most Published Poet On The Web
Google has become a world of its own
As hearts and souls communicate and relate.
There's always someone 24 hours night and day
To converse with, respond to or debate.
People by the millions can influence one another
By how they feel and what they say.
All of us search for friendship, love and answers
As we consume our monitor at work or play.
Google delivers us past the gatekeepers
And the public juries the thoughts we preach.
It's up to God and our own self-worth
If our postings glorify, identify and teach.
Google can close doors no man can open
And open doors no man can close.
It's up to us to prove our worldly worth
By our lifetime example of the words we chose.

Half of Google's revenue comes from selling text-based ads that are placed near search results and are related to the topic of the search. Another half of its revenues come from licensing its search technology to companies like Yahoo.

Mapping The Reef
It wasn't so long ago, that Google mapped the earth;
Now they are mapping the world, way below the surf.
Very soon, we'll all get the chance to virtually explore
The Great Barrier Reef, on the Pacific Ocean's floor.
Visitors will soon be able to explore the hidden depths,
Without all the aggro of getting their hair soaking wet.
Around the Great Reef, they will soon be able to roam,
Without ever having left the comfort of their cosy home.
They'll be able to explore the Reef on a computer screen;
Eco-tourism: they'll hit the very heights of going ‘green.'
By their virtual visit, The Reef won't be further disturbed;
But the visitor's excitement will be very seriously curbed.
Nothing can ever quite beat experiencing The Reef for real;
Nothing can ever replace the excitement, or the total thrill.
This massive coral reef, boasts so many amazing features;
It bursts with life, in the forms of both plants and creatures.
Being there, in person, you can watch the coloured fish hurtle,
And spot other creatures, such as, giant clams and sea turtles.
Nothing quite beats seeing it all with your very own eyes:
You'll experience the sheer wonder, and the adrenalin highs.
If visitors get the chance to experience The Reef ‘in the flesh',
By its outstanding beauty, they will not fail to be impressed.
To see The Reef, in real life, not everyone will get the chance,
But now, thanks to Google, we'll all be treated to a virtual glance.

at FB
GOOGle, google
see the faces of those that you remember
then
this is what you can at least do
shed some tears
a pool of tears
and let all the characters of your life
swim there
for long
let them tell the story of salt
and the previous dryness
that killed a rose
which made the bee mourn
that made
another butterfly flutter
in another garden
owned by
that self-made oligarch
applauded
by the wasps
and smacked by the
worms.

In comparison, Google is brilliant because it uses an algorithm that ranks Web pages by the number of links to them, with those links themselves valued by the number of links to their page of origin.

When I first heard of this word, I wondered what that was.
I thought that was some types of onomatopoeia such as:
Click clack, pap pap, tap tap, crick crack, pouf puff,
And you get the idea. I thought that was kid’s stuff.
I was very wrong. It is something revolutionary.
It is a miracle; there, you find the whole planetary
Universe and more: the invented and the uninvented
Stuff. There, you can find out about everything,
About what the king ate last night and what happened
To that food; you get the idea. Don’t be a dingue.
I am not going to tell you the meaning of this word,
Go there and do your own search. My dictionary
Is now obsolete. My books are now archaic like the sword
Used to guillotine Joan of Arc. This is really visionary.
I feel like I am the Andy Rooney of poetry,
And I have to write about every imaginary
Feelings, every feather that touches the baby’s booty,
And about every crying infants under the shining sea.
Google is extremely potent and important
It is much more than we can fathom,
It is much more than every kingdom.
It is about quoting and unquoting the President.
Such as saying: “Mr. G.B. tear down this fence”.
And I am no Ronald Reagan. Building the defense
Is vitally important. They should hire the Boston Celtic’s coach
To run the Homeland Security. Wow, they can turn me into a roach
For saying something like that. As we know, lies don’t fly
But the truth always flies like the butterfly
Of early summer. Oops, this is out place.
This poem is about Google, the internet palace,
Where you can find about what happened to every corrupt politicians.
I just found some dirt about some not too famous friends and magicians.
Yes, I read the charges and the dates that they were sentenced,
And where they did the time. This is a new stance.
This is more than gossips. Now, we have all of the facts,
From now on, when I hear or see this word which lacks
No introduction or explanation, I know that person is talking
About the search engine of the internet and this is serious thinking.
Now I wrote about this phenomenon,
I am going to be sued by an angry cloistered nun.

Why Me People
When ever you look at me
you feel like am too talkative
while its the way i am
i learn things through talking
why people why?
whenever i give a comment
you think am rude
while it not being rude but thats how i am
why people why?
when i talk to a girl
you accuse me that am asking her out
while i try to create friendship
but thats how i live
why people why?
you call me google
then you start to giggle
i try to learn new things on google
but you laugh at me then i start to wriggle
why people why?
i talk reality
as i live while it hurts me alot
but thats how i am

What To Do When You're Confused
What to do, what to do, what to do
When you're confused
You could
Choose to stay
In this new found state
Of confusion
Marinate in it..so to speak
But
That may leave you
With unanswered questions
You could write in your journal
Pour over all the possibilities
The various solutions to your confusion
You could talk to someone who doesn't know you well
Because you'd want some impartial input
Which could leave you even more confused
Because they can only help you according to
Their understanding
Of your situation
You could google some answers
Turns out..
You can't find the answers to
EVERYTHING
On google
Some situations
Still require old methods for resolution
You could talk to a good friend
They may not have all the answers
But
They'd probably be willing to listen
Provide you with some feedback
That's what friends are for...
You could speak with the person
If it is a person indeed
Who has left you
In this state of confusion
I mean
At some point
Isn't the direct approach
Really
The Only approach
So,
You take a deep breath
You tell yourself 'here I go'
I'm going to get my answers
And, then
I'll know
I won't be confused
At least not by this confusion
What to do, what to do, what to do
I've given you some options
But, I can't tell you
What, for sure, you should definitely do
I can make a suggestion..
But, again it's up to you
You should listen to your inner voice,
Do what THAT tells you
I can say this
It's probably not as bad as you imagine
And, who knows,
It's a possibility
That
After all this stressing
You end up pleasantly surprised.
But we know for sure
You'll have all your answers
And, you, my friend
Will no longer be confused.
