I wish I could untie my hand, set it free,
So that if you offered yours again to me
I could accept your proposal knowing that
Our relationship was not ambiguous...
I wish I could open the valves of my heart
And let the love I harbor pour freely out
And cleanse those wounds
That have not mended rightly
Scarring me visibly with melancholy...
I wish my poetry had the potency
To convince you that I love you truly
And that the very place where all things must end
Is the place most likely to begin again...
But, I do not wish to undo what I have done
Because from mistakes made I have also grown
And struggled for wisdom that is essential
To capacity for higher potential...
I wish the greatest wish of all, for true love
For this I have waited to know when it comes
It shall be genuine and not misleading

I’ve given my heart so freely in the past
As though my thoughts raced ahead of my words
I’ve waited for a chance, an opportunity
I’ve even waited for the answer that did not come
Those silences in which I knew already
But kept trying to convince myself otherwise
Those dreams I held onto were so beautiful
Like a drug they deluded me for a while
Until the come down and realisation
I fought and still fight the pain filled resentment
I do not wish to become bitter filled
Asking those pointless questions over and over
Knowing I will never accept the answer
I try and feed my ego to believe its not me
That they are the ones who have lost in love
They will miss my romantic passions
My loyalty, the kindness I would have offered
Maybe I am not rich enough, what is wealth
Maybe I am not pretty enough, love is in the eye
Maybe they thought me strange, I was a stranger
For they never took the time to know me
I’ve seen my heart run away so often
And I know it will do so again until stopped
I’ll just keep telling myself its not my loss
You give them a chance that they fail to take
You’re a romantic, honest and loyal

Life As a Circle
There is a place
Where ideas come from
And you cannot know for sure
When you are actually there
Because all is imaginary in relation
To that which is already in existence
Or else, it is a copy
Of what someone else
Has brought back to us before...
Pure truth has no existence,
Being beyond within
The garden of originality,
Where all sorts of unearthy things
Are really grown
And some are plucked by the living-
The explorers, who like these things,
Have been transformed in this world
From the dust of another...

Silence Misquoted
I begged without knowing for your love as a child
I tried to be good, quiet, behave, but for want of a word I was wild.
If you`d asked or questioned or even tried to understand
Maybe taken me in your arms, or held my hand.
If only you`d talked to me, or tried to explain,
The silence was misquoted, it determined my blame.
My mind crushed, heartbroken, a child in care has nothing, no place.
Scared and abandoned, strangers invading my thoughts, my space
I struggled and made lots of childish mistakes,
Learning the hard way. with lifes gives and takes.
My best mistake of all was becoming a young mum.
Unconditional love, was my reward to come.
It was years later, when my thoughts returned to you.
My children pushing the boundaries and me not knowing what to do.
We struggled and we argued and oh boy.. were they wild
But my love, unconditional, my love for my child.
I asked the questions... I tried to understand,
I held them in arms and reached out with my hands.
So I ask you this question Mum, cos i dont understand.
How could you not love me, hold me or take my hand?

Long ago my Lord, I desired…
to share myself with You completely.
Under Your everlasting covenant,
You etched Your message of Love
upon my open and tender heart.
Now I radiate with joy and knowledge
from having Your Principles imprinted
on my life and mind's thinking.
As I'm steadfast on Your firm foundation,
continue to enhance our relationship.
Cleanse me from the impurities that stain,
as You have previously promised.
Show me how to find and seek…
the righteousness of Your Kingdom
for myself and others.
From embracing the ideal of dying to self,
Your spiritual seed of faith
exploded abundantly inside my spirit,

The Beginning Of Love
From the beginning of life a women was born with only her untouched virginity,
Gods gift to a women was the ability to love and protect her purity,
To yearn or dream about true love helps keep the heartbeat alive,
If a women allows her heart to be broken so many times true love can never be revived,
A pure man can only access a women’s love by using his sincere heart as a key,
When a man has proven to be genuine only he can unlock her virginity,
If the women believe in true love she will be protected from the temptations of other men,
When a women’s heart feels secure then her journey of longing for love has finally come to an end.
