Divine Device
Would it be loss or gain
To hapless human-kind
If we could feel no pain
Of body or of mind?
Would it be for our good
If we were calloused so,
And God in mercy should
End all our woe?
I wonder and I doubt:
It is my bright belief
We should be poor without
The gift of grief.
For suffering may be
A blessing, not a bane,
And though we sorrow we
Should praise for Pain.
Aye, it's my brave belief
That grateful we should be,
Since in the heart of grief
Is love and sympathy,
We do not weep in vain,
So let us kiss the rod,
And see in purging Pain
The Grace of God.

My Firm Belief
This is the world of loss and gain
Where God let nothing to go in vain
Even a water dropp that we get in rain
Helps us in moments of suffering and pain
When troubles come it makes us gray
And everything feels wrong in the way
And we don't find next stone to lay
And think that God has pushed us away
But this is neither true nor it is right
Because for us God emits bliss light
And show us nice things that are bright
For his ways are always unique and quiet
So if we feel we are stuck in a test
Where we are not given any rest
Then thing that at time seems best
is to go to God and pray with zest
Because this is surely my firm belief
That God who is our creator and chief
Will cease our pain and will give us relief
And will remove from us our distress and grief
Because this is the world of loss and gain
Where God let nothing to go in vain
Even a water dropp that we get in rain
Helps us in moments of sufferings and pain

0012 Bereavement
What is it, when we mourn and grieve and cry
for those we loved - and love - now passed away,
that gives our pain such brute totality?
so vital, that we almost love that pain
(our faces sometimes radiant in grief) ,
unwilling to let go pain's absolute,
since there, hides knowledge deeper than belief
of that sole absolute itself, the root
of all our being, oneness that we share
with those with whom we sought our selves to prove?
that pain, which barely differs from a prayer
to know - by suffering deepest hurt of love:
Yes! Let us dive into that holy deep
of total grief and love: then, can self weep?

My Only Song
Man of Sorrow
Man of Pain
You took it all
Without any gain.
You loved us all
With gentle eyes
Man of Sorrow
Man of Pain
39 plus one
Lashes great fall on your back
A crown of thorns
Pressed down around your head
The blood runs down
and yet you cry
'So many lost;
So many die.'
Man of Sorrow
Man of Pain
Leave it now-
And cry again
Man of sorrow
Man of pain
Your troubled heart
Feels my pain.
Lifted up to die
Bitter gall served fresh
As wine
Yet you'd do it again
For one lost sheep
That beats in the air.
Man of sorrow
Man of pain
When is it enough?
So much grief
You swallow up
Yet you bore it
And demand me live-
Man of sorrow
I humbled myself down.
All glory to you
Man of sorrow
All thrones belong to you
Man of pain
You gave me life and
Even more
I have nothing
But myself to give -
Yet I keep taking it back
Man of Sorrow
Man of Pain.

The Depth Of Grief
The depth of grief is hard to measure
For the pain inside it that is treasures
Is so much and so bitter and hard
That everone wants it to totally discard
But one thing taht we must keep in mind
Is to always seek ways with others to be kind
No matter what we are going through
We must be honest and sincere too
And always remember these pain and grief
Are only let out and gets a relief
If they are given a chance to drop
From inside painful injured heart's top
And then all life's pain and sigh
Will leave your soul and will say goodbye
And then in your heart all pain and grief
Will not get a place, not even brief.

Ordinary Pain
When by the phone
In vain you sit
You very soon in your mind realize that its not just
An ordinary pain in your heart
When you by chance
Go knock on her door
Walkin away youre convinced that its much more
Than just an ordinary pain in your heart
Its more than just
An ordinary pain in your heart
When you catch up
But she says goodbye
Hold back your tears and before you start to cry
Say you feel unnecessary pain in your heart
Tell her youre glad
Its over in fact
Can she take with her the pain she brought you back
Takin that ordinary pain from your heart
Its more than just
An ordinary pain from your heart
Dont fool yourself
But tell no one else
That its more than just
An ordinary pain
In your heart
In your heart
In your heart
Part ii
Youre just a masachistic fool
Because you knew my love was cruel
You never listened when they said
Dont let that girl go to your head
But like a play boy you said no
Or*di*nary pain
This little girl mind you will blow
Or*di*nary pain
But then I blew you out the box
Or*di*nary pain
When I put my stuff on key and lock
Or*di*nary pain
It makes me feel kind of sick
Or*di*nary pain
To know love put you in a trick
Or*di*nary pain
I knew our love would have to end
Or*di*nary pain
The day I made it with your friend
Or*di*nary pain
Giving your love to one unreal
Or*di*nary pain
Like a big fool I know you feel
Or*di*nary pain
But in this lovie-dovie game
Or*di*nary pain
With all its joy there must be pain
Or*di*nary pain
But now the time has surely come
Or*di*nary pain
This game dont seem like so much fun
Or*di*nary pain
Youre cryin big corcodile tears
Or*di*nary pain
Dont match the ones Ive cried for years
Or*di*nary pain
When I was home wainting for you
Or*di*nary pain
You were out somewhere doing the do
Or*di*nary pain
You know Id really like to stay
Or*di*nary pain
But like you did Ive go to play
Or*di*nary pain
Youre dumb to think Id let you be
Or*di*nary pain
Scott free without some pain from me
Or*di*nary pain
I heard your song and took a chance
Or*di*nary pain
But to your music I cant dance
Or*di*nary pain
Go tell your story sob-sad
Or*di*nary pain
About you blowin what you had
Or*di*nary pain
Since one aint good enough for you
Or*di*nary pain
Then do yourself see how you do
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain

The Womb
Up from the evil day
Of wattle and of woad,
Along man's weary way
Dark Pain has been the goad.
Back from the age of stone,
Within his brutish brain,
What pleasure he has known
Is ease from Pain.
Behold in Pain the force
That haled Man from the Pit,
And set him such a course
No mind can measure it.
To angel from the ape
No human pang was vain
In that divine escape
To joy through Pain.
See Pain with stoic eyes
And patient fortitude,
A blessing in disguise,
An instrument of good.
Aye, though with hearts forlorn
We to despair be fain,
Believe that Joy is born
From Womb of Pain.

Pain...and...Joy
You Are The Pain and The Joy
You are the Pain and the joy
on the stage of life.
You are the pain hunger and the joy
of food on ones table.
You are the pain of the homeless,
and the joy, of the home,
in His heart.
You are the pain on a bitter,
winter day and the joy, in
the warmth of the sun.
You are the pain and joy, in the

You are the pain and joy, that
lingers in ones heart.
You are the pain in music that is bad,
and you are the joy, in my song
of life.
You are the pain, in the tragedies
of the world, and the joy in the
goodness of people.
You are the pain of the orphans of
the street, and the joy, in a
mothers love.
You are the pain, in a sometime unjust

of ones heart.
You are the pain, in the loss of

are seated at His table.
You are the pain of self destructive
addiction and the joy in redemption.
You are the pain, in the sicknesses of

hope of recovery.
You are the pain in the misery of the poor,
and disenfranchise, and the joy, in
the parts of society, that attempts to,
raise them up.

We Gave Her A Bouquet Of Roses
We gave her a bouquet of roses to place on her baby's grave
The baby girl born alive that the doctors could not save
The birth of new born baby a time of joy and cheer
But if the new born baby die such news none wish to hear.
She has to weep her grief away and shed those painful tears
Or else the hurt will stay with her for years and years and years
To bottle up her sense of loss will only cause more pain
She has to shed her grief in tears or with her 'twill remain.
She carried her child for nine months looked to the birth with joy
But her happiness was snatched from her in the twinkling of an eye
My thoughts go to her husband too his expectations high
But tragedy visited him he watched his baby die.
What can one say at a time like this there's nothing one can say
To ease the burden of the grief that they must feel today
Nine months of expectations in a moment snatched away
But sun as ever waits to shine behind the clouds of gray.
A bouquet of flowers and sympathy card to place on baby's grave
But how can any one expect of them at such time to be brave
They have to let their feelings show and weep their grief away
For if not sorrow will live on and hurt with them will stay.

Footsteps & Heartbeats
Here, in a cuddle.
Here, in the making
of a meal...or...love.
Here, in countless conversations
idle chit-chats
sprinkled throughout our day
to day
here,
in the bric-a brac of us
we exchange our pasts
memories that made us
the secret facts of us
that make us...us.
The we
we are now.
loving
each other.
The very this & thats
that lead me to you and you to I
and I unwilling to change
an iota...an inch
a pain...a loss...a grief
in case
my life didn’t flow
into yours
creating some alternative universe
where we would have missed each other
by an iota...an inch
a pain…a loss...a grief.
Here now
in the here & now of us
the gift
of love
given to us
that we
like a little flame
carry carefully
into the future
that awaits us
each each
other’s gift
each little flame
of love
lighting the way
for the other
footsteps
& heartbeats
rhyming
in time.

Havent Got Time For The Pain
(carly simon/jacob brackman)
All those crazy nights when I cried myself to sleep
Now melodrama never makes me weep anymore
cause I havent got time for the pain
I havent got room for the pain
I havent the need for the pain
Not since Ive known you
You showed me how, how to leave myself behind
How to turn down the noise in my mind
Now I havent got time for the pain
I havent got room for the pain
I havent the need for the pain
Not since Ive known you
Suffering was the only thing that made me feel I was alive
Though thats just how much it cost to survive in this world
til you showed me how, how to fill my heart with love
How to open up and drink in all that white love
Pouring down from the heaven
I havent got time for the pain
I havent got room for the pain
I havent the need for the pain
Not since Ive known you

May bleed with pain
My heart may bleed with pain
To find out the worth of being human with gain
It’s utility on earth and leading of as an entity
To be remembered or hated as personal quality
The ensuing festival has touched heart with grief
Millions of people are attached with strong belief
Has that really brought the kindness with brotherhood?
Do we ever wipe out the tears from the people of neighborhood?
If answer is yes, then we have achieved what father really wanted
His sacrifice is not in vain as the so many years were spent on being haunted
What did they get in turn for perpetuating inhuman treatment?
Did our father O, Lord utter a word or preferred to lament?
I weep when see the tearful eyes with a message
You waged a relentless love war throughout the age
You suffered so much for us to be called a non believer
You only wanted to be sufferer and our pain reliever
“They will what they are doing and for whom”?
“What do they know and what ideas they groom?
This was your message even when descended with gloom
Today even we do not know exactly by sitting in the room
How could you bear such cruelty on your body?
Was there no pity in their heart or thought by anybody?
Did they know what they were doing and for what cause?
Could they not stop it for while or observe a pause?
There was no one to take you to safety
You were subjected to torture and cruelty
Oh, how long you endured pain and lay flat
Still you loved till last and did not spate
All those events make me very sad
I still see those watery eyes and feel what you had
It might have been very crucial days
When you were forbidden preaching ways
I feel hurt when sharp thorn strikes
I look helplessly with pain at skies
I plead for help with anguish
How could you bear all poking till they finished?
You stood for universal brotherhood and mankind
I feel very much hurt when some one is very unkind
I remember each word vividly and memorize
Each soul on earth is committed to oblige
We could never have been one as we are today
We may be celebrating it with fun fare on auspicious day
If single word I could adopt and prove
It will be worth to be called a good move
