Laid To Rest

In these hand laid your cold
and muddy lifeless body
as i stared through your eyes
and felt a sense
of overwhelming guilt
my god how could
such innocence be taken away
i laid you to rest
in hope that one day your joyful
screech i will miss
you gave hope to even the tiniest
thing yet death came for you
as he touched you
with is icy cold claw
your pain i felt
my nights are not the same
and though we never got along
i miss when you curled up on me
so peaceful to watch you sleep
listening to your every
heart beat.

Whiles You Sleep

Cold water in hand
as i watch you sleep
peaceful and beat
weary and tired
yet this overwhelming sensation
over come me as i grip the jug
tightly oh i feel something
so devilish in me
i just wanna see how you react
as i lay back starring in to
your wide vastly gazed out eyes wandering
if am part of your dream
with cold water in hand
laughing like a maniac
hahaha

Tell Mama

TELL MAMA"
Tell Mama why I just come and go
Tell her that I'm just looking for
Some other faces, other names
And that if I'm cold it's not the rain
It's not the rain
CHORUS
When I feel cold, when I feel cold
I miss my home, I miss my home
I miss my home.
When I feel cold, when I feel cold
I miss my home, I miss my home
I miss my home.
I hide my face, beyond my tears
I'd never thought I could miss you dear
It seems to feel so ...
My face near the window dreams far away
What should I do against this pain?
Against this pain?
CHORUS 2x
Tell Mama that time goes by and by
Like the summer rain you'll meet sometimes
So close your eyes and let it rain
Tell her, after sunshine you'll meet the rain
You'll meet the rain
When I feel cold, when I feel cold
I miss my home, I miss my home
I miss my home.
Tell Mama, tell her, tell her I feel cold
(I --- feel cold ---)
When I feel cold, when I feel cold
I miss my home, I miss my home
I miss my home.
When I feel cold, when I feel cold
I miss my home, I miss my home
I miss my home.

Collide

I felt my heart collapse
On the day that I met him
I felt my heart collapse
It filled up to the rim
I felt my heart collapse
When my eyes traveled 'round
I felt my heart collapse
The one I had found

I felt my heart collapse
When he first touched my skin
I felt my heart collapse
Oh it seemed a lovely sin
I felt my heart collapse
It fell without a sound
I felt my heart collapse
Oh I knew I had found

I felt my heart collapse
When we shared that first kiss
I felt my heart collapse
I thought that I would almost miss
I felt my heart collapse
I was lost in his embrace
I felt my heart collapse
I kept staring at his face

Oh my heart collapsed on that day
Ever since it's been that same way
My love for you has not faded
Ever since the day it escaped

What have i done

Im in a room with you and its eating me alive
I am in the darkness while you're in the light
I thought what we did would satisfy my itch
But all its done is make me feel like a selfless bitch
I fell for you and your traps and i cant take the guilt
I am feeling pain i have never felt
I dont know what im suppose to do
I cant just go on ignoring you
I cant run away from my fears
I am tired of holding back all these tears
I cant stand whats happening its making me inasne
You are the only thing on my brain
I dont know why but i cant conectrate on anything else
This is unlike anything ive ever felt
How do i defeat this overewhelming pain and terror
I cant stand to look at myself in my own mirror
I dont know how i am suppose to cope
I've tried talking but still no hope
I try escaping through music
everything im deeming useless
I feel like ive been used
I feel like ive been abused
I hate myself more then ever before
Its as if my lifeless body is left bleeding away on the floor
I write this with you in the same room sitting a few rows back
my hands are trembling and i feel like im having a heart attache
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh i scream inside and im trying to claw my way out
but im stuck and theres now way out of this cold dark house
the house of fear and pain
the house where theres nothing but rain
the house in which ive resided for many years
the house in which is made by my tears

I Wish I Had My Home

What is a home?

Where is home?

When can I go home?

Home is a place where you can feel safe

Home is a place where you can break down in the free

Home is the place where you feel joy happiness and whole

Home is a place where you lay your heart in

I have laid my heart in three different places

(What) My first home is a place everywhere

All I need is a basket and a ball

All I did was give a ball love and I got something better in return

A ball gave me hope, understanding and appreciation for true love

I have never put more hours into one thing than it

It was always my top priority and I was it’s top priority

Better than any girlfriend and any friend

Since I Have Felt The Sense Of Death

Since I have felt the sense of death,
Since I have borne its dread, its fear—
Oh, how my life has grown more dear
Since I have felt the sense of death!
Sorrows are good, and cares are small,
Since I have known the loss of all.

Since I have felt the sense of death,
And death forever at my side—
Oh, how the world has opened wide
Since I have felt the sense of death!
My hours are jewels that I spend,
For I have seen the hours end.

Since I have felt the sense of death,
Since I have looked on that black night—
My inmost brain is fierce with light
Since I have felt the sense of death.
O dark, that made my eyes to see!
O death, that gave my life to me!

Since I Laid Eyes On You

(Ellen Shipley/Billy Steinberg/Sandy Stewart)
Why did I show my hand
Now you know your wish
Is my command
I never longed for things I didn't have
But that's no longer true
Since I laid eyes on you
I know I'm not the same
I don't need a fortune
Don't care about fame
But my soul is a burning flame
Can't sleep the whole night through
Since I laid eyes on you
I want your sweet caress
I dream of your tenderness
Oh I never, ever felt like this
I swear
Look what you've done for me
Oh boy, it's poetry
When I see the wind in your hair
The tears well up inside
Oh, what will turn the tide
And I've been waiting for you to decide
That you love me too
Since I laid eyes on you
What else could I do
Since I laid eyes on you
You, you, you, you
On you
Oh, yeah
Since I laid eyes
On you, you, you

Jesus To Child

Kindness in your eyes
I guess you heard me cry
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
I'm blessed, I know
Heaven sent and heaven stole
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
And what have I learned
>From all this pain?
I thought I'd never feel the same
About anyone
Or anything again
But now I know
When you find love
When you know that it exists
Then the lover that you miss
Will come to you
On those cold, cold nights
When you've been loved
When you know it holds such bliss
Then the lover that you kissed
Will comfort you
When there's no hope in sight
Sadness in your eyes
No one guessed, or no one tried
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
Loveless and cold
With your last breath you saved my soul
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
And what have I learned
>From all these
I've waited for you all those years
And just when it began
He took your love away
But I still say
When you find love
When you know that it exists
Then the lover that you miss
Will come to you
On those cold, cold nights
When you've been loved
When you know it holds such bliss
Then the lover that you kissed
Will comfort you
When there's no hope in sight
So the words you could not say
I'll sing them for you
And the love we would have made
I'll make it for two
For every single memory
Has become a part of me
You will always be
My love
Well, I've been loved
So I know just what love is
And the lover that I kissed
Is always by my side
Oh the lover I still miss
Was Jesus to a child

In The Morning

Hey baby what you doing?
Your flight left yet?
Pshh, Im half way there
I cant wait to see you
So tell me have you left yet, damn
Im running late to the airport
Every time we do this
In my mind saying should I go through with this?
All I see is you kissing me
Last time shut my eyes
Plane goes higher, higher
Hotels booked all I have to do is get my key
I cant wait to have you walk up and hold on me, yeah
Ive never felt this way before
But in the morning
When youre gone
I must wait and be strong
And have faith
Youll return
In my arms
Hope you miss your flight
Hope you miss your flight
Casablanca has always been my dream
I heard that its absolutely radiant in spring
In the garden drinking shots of hennesy
Calm my nerves, its been way too long for me
Finally were driving in a far out dream
Nothing seems even real or close for me
Afternoon sun showers change the way I see
Ive never felt this way before
But in the morning
When youre gone
I must wait and be strong
And have faith
Youll return
In my arms
Hope you miss your flight
Hope you miss your flight
But in the morning
When youre gone
I must wait and be strong
And have faith
Youll return
In my arms
Hope you miss your flight
Hope you miss your flight
Its okay, its okay
(its okay)
Its okay, its okay
But in the morning
When youre gone
I must wait and be strong
And have faith
Youll return
In my arms
Hope you miss your flight
Hope you miss your flight

The Bronze Medal

It felt cold inside
So we threw the radio onto the fire
It felt good to watch it
Burn away to nothing
You said you felt week
I hope it's got
Nothing to do with the things you told me
CHORUS:
Nothing but your eyes
Looking down on the third place
You've got nothing but determination
To come in third
You were always going to be like this
When it's somewhere that's as cold as this
You were always meant to be like this in the cold
It felt warm inside
So we threw the television on the fire
It was in frustration
'Coz I had nothing to throw away
CHORUS:
You know that you're always meant to be like this
You know that I'm always meant to be like this
You know that you're always meant to be like this
You know that you're always meant to be

I Miss My Baby

(Cyndi Lauper, Jan Pulsford)
Come to mama 'cause you know
Ba, ba, ba, ba, ba
In the middle of the night
When the last sheep jumps through my head
Why shut out the light?
When I know I'm gonna wake up again
In crumpled sheets
There is no silhouette
To the sight of me
It's much to cold in this bed
Oooooohhhh,
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh,
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh,
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh,
I miss my baby
Ba, ba, ba, ba, ba
I turn on my side
And I can hear myself breathe
It's pretty quiet outside
I miss the sound of you next to me
When you talk in your sleep
And you mention my name
I close my eyes to remember
But it's just not the same
Oooooohhhh
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh (Ooh, I miss him)
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh (in the middle of the night)
I miss my baby
Can't pet your head all with the covers to your chin
And watch you kick them off again
Can't watch you sleep in the light
From the slit in the door
And what I can't have
It makes me want it even more
It makes me want it even more
Ba, ba, ba, ba
Oooooohhhh
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh (in the middle of the night)
I miss my baby (in the broad daylight)
Oooooohhhh (oh, I miss you)
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh (oh, I miss you, miss you)
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh (in the middle of the night)
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh (gonna kiss you)
I miss my baby
Oooooohhhh (in the broad daylight)
I miss my baby

When I leave

When my arm is cold and numb
And laid to its final rest,
What would be the last thought they would have
If you could remember or relive one last quest.

When my eyes close their very last time
What would be the last sight for them to see,
Would it be a sight, that gave a delight,
To be cherished by my soul through me.

When my fingers loose their sense of touch
What touch would be missed most of all,
Would it be the roses in the summertime,
Or the many leaves, that I touched in fall.

When my lips quiver their last time to shut
What would be the last feeling for it to miss,
Would it be to say a prayer or speak a thought
Or would it be to perform one last kiss.

When it is time for me to leave this Earth
I know that I must go all alone,
Sadly I will leave and happily I will go
As I live a empty world, to enter a new home.

Before my arm goes they need one last hug
Then it will go with pain and delight.
Before my eyes close shut as surely they’ll do
They will see Heaven in sight that night.
Before my fingers loose their sense of touch
A loves hair they would need to brush
They must feel the softness that they once knew,
Then they will leave, with just a hush.
My heart would beat one last time for you
And for my lips, what would be their finale wish,
Would it be a prayer or a poem to recite
Or would it be a last goodbye kiss.

Death Of Love

When my arm is cold and numbed
And then laid to its final rest
I wander what thought that it could have
If only to God and man it could confess.

When my eyes close for their very last time
What would be the last sight for them to see,
Would it be a sight, that gave a delight
To be cherished by my soul through me.

When my fingers loose their sense of touch
What touch would be missed most of all
Would it be the roses in the summertime
Or the many leaves, that I touched in the fall.

When my lips quiver their last time to close
What would be the last thought of it to miss
Would it be to say a prayer or maybe speak a thought
Or would it be, to give my one last kiss.

When it is my time to to leave this world
I know from this world I must leave alone
But I need to feel love, as I say goodbye to life
As never again will my soul or thoughts roam.

Before my arm goes it needs one last hug
Then it will go with a pain and a delight
And before my eyes close shut as surely as they will
They must see heaven in sight, that night.
Before my fingers loose their since of touch
A woman's hair or a rose I need to brush
They must feel the softness that they once had known
Then happily they will leave with just a hush.
My heart would beat one last time for you
And for my lips, what would be their final wish
Would it to say a prayer or a poem to recite,
Or it would be a last goodbye kiss.

When my body is gone and it is buried deep
And my soul is heading to heaven above
No one might worry about me leaving this world
But when I gone, there will be the death of love..

Peaceful And Warm

I went driving through my old hometown
It was Thursday the bright sun on the horizon
I was surprised to see no one had burned it down
It seemed so peaceful and warm
Floods of memories came back to me
All the things we got away with when we were younger
And I felt kind of like a refugee
Like a scattered pile of leaves in a storm
Peaceful memory like lights on a Christmas tree
Every hometown should be peaceful and warm
Every father mother sister brother friend of the family
Peaceful and warm
Somehow now and then didn't seem to blend
'Till a farmer plowing his field waved hello
Another working man doing the best he can
I hope he is peaceful and warm
Peaceful memory plows in the green field sea
Every hometown should be peaceful and warm
Every father mother sister brother friend of the family
Peaceful and warm
On the Kansas banks of the Muddy Mo'
I threw rocks in the river and dreamed of running away
In a wind of change only a father knows
In a world so hectic so cold
I guess my old hometown's kinda dead and gone
Miss the sign on I-29 and you blow right by
But it's a place I can go remember where I come from
It will help me keep me peaceful and warm
Peaceful memory the only thing that's free
Take them and try to be peaceful and warm
Every father mother sister brother friend of the family
Peaceful peaceful and warm

Last Meeting

My father, you were cold and grey
The last time we did meet,
You didn't speak to me at all,
Were covered in a sheet,
Your eyes were open, stared at me
But didn't see a thing,
I felt the love gush from my eyes
Like water, from a spring.

I thought that you were hiding,
That you'd played some trick on me,
That presently you'd jump on out
The way it used to be,
We'd laugh about it then for years
And mother would join in,
But still you lay, ignoring me,
The silence growing thin.

I touched you, and you were so cold,
So icy lying there,
I felt the chill surrounding me,
The chill of your cold stare,
And where the wit I'd grown to love,
The wisdom you had shown?
You answered in your silence then,
'You must go home alone! '

I never thought I'd see the day
When you were not around,
Set in the background of my life,
Your comments, so profound,
I left a part of me behind
With you, once you had gone,
'Last meeting' was not yesterday;
Your Death's now Twenty One!

These tears of mine

Tears of mine, lover of mine
Until when shall i mourn,
Your presence which is ever absent,
I miss the days we never spent,
The kiss you never gave,
The scent i never smelt,
And the tenderness of yours,
I miss you so,
These are tears of mine

I thought i touched you,
I thought i kissed you,
I thought i felt you,
It was just but a dream,
I miss you so,
These are the tears of mine

My nights are desolate,
My bed is empty,
My hands are damp,
My lips so dry,
Rescue me oh my love,
I miss you so,
These are tears of mine

I see myself,
I imagine,
I cogitate,
Then i cry

Yes come to me,
Yes set me free,
My cheeks are wet,
I miss you so,
These tears of mine

Miss You Nights

Ive had many times
I can tell you
Times when innocence Id trade for company
And children saw me crying
I thought Id had my share of that
But these miss you nights
Are the longest
Midnight diamonds
Stud my heaven
Southward burning
Lie the jewels that eye my place
And the warm winds
That embrace me
Jst as surely kissed your face
Yeah these miss you nights
Are the longest
How I miss you
Im not likely to tell
Im a man and cold day light
Buys the pride Id rather sell
All my secrets
Are wasted affair
You know them well
Thinking of my going
How to cut the thread
And leave it all behind
Looking windward for my compass
I take each day as it arrives
But these miss you nights
Are the longest
Lay down all thought of your surrender
Its only me whos killing time
Lay down all dreams and themes once remembered
Its just the same
This miss you game
Yeah these miss you nights
Are the longest

I hope part 3

I hope when you hold her that you will think of me
Wonder how I'm doing and wishing me you could see

I hope when she smiles at you, you see me face
Turn your head and want to cry for me you couldn't replace

I hope when she's laying next to you your wishing it was me
Wishing it was my hand you hold and touching my body

I hope when you look in her eyes your heart feels hurt
Because it was my eyes that you wish, into, you could look

I hope when you make love to her that you will miss me
The way I loved you and how I satisfied you completely

I hope when you grow old and your kids are gone
That you'll think back to leaving me and realize you were wrong

I hope one day you wish that you had stayed with me
That I was the old lady holding your hand as we walk down the street
