Visiting homeland
When I earn bread in a foreign kingdom
I feel that I am held as an outcast.
I live with that consciousness all through out.
No amount of luxury can wipe that plague.
To escape from that vicissitudes for a while
I make visit to my hometown now and then
To show my people how big I’ve grown
And enjoy the chivalry that I get.

I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Never bother who created man
I enjoy life as I can
People tell me, Get up early
I sleep late,
So go to hell
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Somewhere I read,
pray to god
I don’t have any time for that
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Mother says take care of health
I say most important is wealth
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Preachers preach,
Never be phony, Live honestly
I say fool as many
Being honest is being lousy
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
My goal is money
Even if have to kill somebody
Life without money
Is bee without honey
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
I met with an accident
Nobody lent a helping hand
I realized, I was disliked
I thought with all the might
To make life happy
One has to live rightly
Greed is worst for life
With it one can never rise
I’m a changed man
Contentment is my ambition
Now, I never earn as I can

Such luxury is not for me. for friend Thad
A marble floor that’s silken smooth
and walls of carven cedar wood.
What does such ostentation prove?
I do not know but feel I should.
Such luxury is not for me
I am contented with my lot.
I make no effort to impress
I have sufficient for my needs.
It matters not that I have less
than those who feel they must succeed
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot
I see no reason to display
I much prefer my privacy.
I live my life in my own way
Accepting life’s reality
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot
Though I indulge in fantasy
from time to time like everyone
I know it’s not reality
only a dream that’s quickly gone.
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot.
I earn my living honestly
although I’m just an artisan
Better to live quietly
as befits a simple man.
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot
A marble floor that’s silken smooth
and walls of carven cedar wood.
What does such ostentation prove?
Something I’ve never understood.
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot.

Hometown Honeymoon
Hey baby, won't you take my hand
And make me a happy man
I ain't rich but I found my fortune in you
Two jobs on the nighttime shift
I'm still left with an empty fist
But my heart is full and my love is true
We can still get married in the style of our friends and family
Gather all of them to celebrate while we slip out quietly
And have a hometown honeymoon
Wildflowers and love is in bloom
We'll have a hometown honeymoon just me and you
Hometown honeymoon
Get out of church and up to your room
We'll have a hoe-down afternoon
Dancing to the rhythm of love
We can sing and laugh out loud
Lifestyles of the poor but proud
Cuddle up on the porch and enjoy the view
We can't afford Niagara Falls
But there's a fountain by the old town hall
We'll make a wish by the light of a lover's moon
I'll get my Grandma's wedding ring
And my brother's Chevrolet
We can stay at your mama's house;
We don't have to go away
To have a hometown honeymoon
Wildflowers and love is in bloom
We'll have a hometown honeymoon
Dancing to the rhythm of love
Instrumental
Your daddy's prize possession
I'll make a good impression
I'm gonna get his blessing
That's all we need
Hometown honeymoon
Wildflowers and love is in bloom
We'll have a hometown honeymoon just me and you
Hometown Honeymoon
Get out of church and up to your room
We'll have a hoe-down afternoon
Dancing to the rhythm of love
Hometown honeymoon
Hometown honeymoon
Hometown honeymoon
Wildflowers and love is in bloom...

Foreign Tongue
While speaking in a foreign tongue
many challenges are there
that I enjoy.
New culture
new languages
new rules
new way of thinking
make it romantic
that I enjoy.
I enjoy the mistake
I enjoy new experiments
I enjoy new manner of
Speaking writing
that you have.
While speaking
in a foreign tongue
a new way of life
come to the surface
new words new lines
new and new
that we both
enjoy and like.

Angel
girl it's been so long
since i held you in my arms
so i picked up pen and paper
and decided to write you a song
things just ain't the same
since you took your love away
all i have is dark and lonely days
cause the sun don't shine my way
wish that i could find the words to say
to show you love is real
the words just can't express the way i feel
[chorus]
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me whole again
baby not a day goes bye
that i don't want to cry
when i think of what we had
how you walked out of my life
all i had was yours to take
till my heart you chose to break
still wish that i could make love to you
just one more time for old times sake
if only i could find the words to say
to show you love is real
the words just can't express the way i feel
[chorus]
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me feel whole again
come back home
come back home
cause without you here beside me
my house is not a home
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me whole again
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me whole again
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
you've been gone too long so won't you come back home

Bloody Luxury
(coverdale)
Now when I first met you
I was rolling along,
Just a bar room crooner
Singing heartbreak songs,
An I supposed I could never get next to you
But, you seemed quite happy with my company
You kept my body heat steady at 103,
With your mouth full of gimme
An your body full of much obliged
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Youre a five star woman,
An you know what to give
To fill a part time loser
Full of reasons to live,
But, theres no doubt about it
Im taking a chance on you
Becos you get my heart beating heavy,
Make my knees go weak
You get me so damn nervous
I can hardly speak,
But, nothings gonna stop me
Hanging on my good luck charm
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...

I Envy Them Their Love Of Home
Many left the old Town by the river to work and live in Cities far away
From where they went to school and spent their early years and first saw light of day
But some remained in the Homeplace and there worked for lower pay
And credit them for their love of home those who at home did stay.
They sowed their seed in their Hometown their children and grandchildren still live there
Whilst those with the lust of wander in their hearts went off to work and live elsewhere
To the old Town by the river they remain ever true
And credit them for their love of home since credit they are due.
The ancient river by the old Town ever towards the ocean flow
And to the Countryside it babbles though the Seasons come and go
And another generation of young people into young adults have grown
And the stay at home feel quite content with the only life they've known.
When I say I envy them their love of home 'tis not said with tongue in cheek
Compared to theirs my love of the Hometown to say the least seems weak
The wanderlust was in my heart and from the home shore I went to live far away
Though home is where the heart is you hear some people say.

Hometown Blues
Baby cant wait
Baby gotta go
Gonna do a number
On the late night show
Do a little song
Do a little dance
Gonna make the best
Of her big chance
Dont really matter
If she dont or if she do
Tryin to make the best of
The hometown blues
I got a friend
Got a little girl
Said shes the best
In the whole wide world
Said it so good
Said its unreal
Might not last
But its no big deal
Dont really matter
If she dont or if she do
Tryin to make the best of
The hometown blues
Baby, save me, save me, save me
With your sweet smile
Honey, I really need your love
To help me kill a little bit o time
All of the girls
Run with the crowd
They go wild
When the lights go down
They got a little money
Live in a dream
Wanna be the queen
Of their little scene
Dont really matter
If she dont or if she do
Tryin to make the best of
The hometown blues

Family without stress
Let us live apart and visit each other.
Let us have separate receipts and payments.
Trust and faith firmly held, we can avoid
Stress arising from living together.

My Hometown
I was eight years old and running with a dime in my hand
Into the bus stop to pick up a paper for my old man
Id sit on his lap in that big old buick and steer as we drove through town
Hed tousle my hair and say son take a good look around
This is your hometown, this is your hometown
This is your hometown, this is your hometown
In '65 tension was running high at my high school
There was a lot of fights between the black and white
There was nothing you could do
Two cars at a light on a saturday night in the back seat there was a gun
Words were passed in a shotgun blast
Troubled times had come to my hometown
My hometown, my hometown, my hometown
Now main streets whitewashed windows and vacant stores
Seems like there aint nobody wants to come down here no more
Theyre closing down the textile mill across the railroad tracks
Foreman says these jobs are going boys and they aint coming back to
Your hometown, your hometown, your hometown, your hometown
Last night me and kate we laid in bed talking about getting out
Packing up our bags maybe heading south
Im thirty-five we got a boy of our own now
Last night I sat him up behind the wheel and said son take a good
Look around
This is your hometown

Be Nobody's Darling
Be nobody's darling;
Be an outcast.
Take the contradictions
Of your life
And wrap around
You like a shawl,
To parry stones
To keep you warm.
Watch the people succumb
To madness
With ample cheer;
Let them look askance at you
And you askance reply.
Be an outcast;
Be pleased to walk alone
(Uncool)
Or line the crowded
River beds
With other impetuous
Fools.
Make a merry gathering
On the bank
Where thousands perished
For brave hurt words
They said.
But be nobody's darling;
Be an outcast.
Qualified to live
Among your dead.

When a Consciousness Begins to Lift
When a consciousness begins to lift...
To leave behind foolishness that exists.
There seems to be an acceptance of it.
As if one realizes,
A birth has been committed.
When a consciousness begins to lift...
A release of limitations,
Easily takes a shift.
No longer is one concerned,
About winning conflicts with enemies burned.
When a consciousness begins to lift...
It becomes easier to observe,
Those disturbed and their afflictions addicted.
Enjoyed and unrestricted.
When a consciousness begins to lift...
It is best to rest.
And let it accept the truth,
That comes with it.
When a consciousness begins to lift...
Expect a shock and some loneliness.
When a consciousness begins to lift...
Those experiencing this,
Are left to feel estranged!
Alienated,
From that...
Which one had thought,
Was sane!
When a consciousness begins to lift...
Enjoy it as a gift.
Unveiling an abundance of understanding.
Connecting a peace that can be reached.
With a wish to share and treat.
When a consciousness begins to lift...
From those taught they should live,
With lives accepted in self defeat!

The Snatchers
When I was a kid,
And at noon hungry,
My mother gave me
A bit of bread
And I ate moving
In the street only in a shirt,
And sometime went
To the farther end of the street
But the crows
Sitting on the surrounding walls
Or edges of the roofs dived
One of them snatched the piece
And other cawed on the walls,
Or in the trees or on the roofs.
I returned weeping and wailing
Clang to my mother,
Who wiped my tears
With a corner of her clout
And gave me an other,
Reprimanding that I should eat
Sitting beside her
While she churned milk;
And I sat in her shade
In the dusty courtyard
Extending my naked legs on the ground
And ate the piece with relish.
Now I am a grown up man,
My mother has passed away
No one is to wipe my tears,
I earn my bread
The crows still dive to snatch the pieces,
But now they do not caw on the walls,
Or in the trees or on the roofs.
But they sit either on a throne,
In the assembly or senate halls
Or chambers of commerce
Or live in the societies of defence.

Dry Up Your Tears My People
Dry up your tears my people!
For gold is not gold by itself when found;
It is found as a gold dust and then,
Refined into pure gold! !
So, having fun and living on the edge of life doesn't pay;
But rather, gain consciousness to move ahead by wiping away your tears.
Yes, all will be well soon;
And like the muse of bananas with the monkeys at as zoo!
However, money really talks on this earth;
But, the same money cannot buy many talents.
Some days are better than others,
However, live like a king and die like a man! !
For, you are not the only person suffering on this earth.
Come to me and let me lead you with the muse of my love,
And like the works done in the land of beauty and love;
For, you are not alone on this earth.
Fly to me and let me show you wisdom,
For where the rich and powerful rules, are also poor people around;
Because, without the poor, the rich cannot be richer always!
Do wipe away your tears my people,
For Rome was not built in a day! !
And, there are still constructions going on in Rome today;
So, stop crying and give me the smile of wisdom.
There are more things to learn on this earth,
But, the Laws are there to guide us on always;
So, if you cannot wipe away your tears,
Then, just lay your troubles on my pillow and let me wipe your tears away.

Hometown Hero
Words and music: paul dean, bryan adams, todd carney, taylor rhodes
Were gonna break away
The engines hot and running
Well take this nowhere town
And turn it into something
Were gonna lose control
And set the wheels in motion
Well, were stoking our claims
Yeah, theyll remember our names
Going down in a blaze of glory
Going out in a flash of light
You know it goes with the territory
When you run the night
You wont to be a hometown hero
And nothings standing in your way
Take it all the way from zero
Never fade away
Now you and I can make it happen
Show you what its all about
Well take the night
And turn it inside out... yeah... inside out
They say that eagles dare
While others only follow
Youve got to raise the stakes
And bet against tomorrow
Storm the barricade
And cross that line of fire
When the damage is done
You know, the legend lives on
Going down in a blaze of glory
Going out in a flash of light
You know it goes with the territory
When you run the night
You want to be a hometown hero
And nothings standing in your way
Take it all the way from zero
Never fade away
Now you and I can make it happen
Show you what its all about
Well take the night
And turn it inside out... look out
(solo)
You want to be a hometown hero
Nothings standing in your way
Take it all the way from zero
Never fade away
Now you and I can moke it happen
Well show you what its all about
Well take the night
And turn it inside out... oh yeah
Well, you want to be a hometown hero
Well turn it inside out
You want to be a hometown hero
Well turn it inside out
You want to be a hometown hero
Yeah

Stop Acting! We Have Issues To Address!
More than hundred million of our people,
Live in luxury. The luxury you can't find in any castle,
Of a European country, as the labor law is strict there,
Here in my father's land India, abused are our workers,
Who can work nonstop for the peanut salaries and old clothes,
Modern day slaves bend their heads to the floor,
Most of them not protected against ills and injuries,
Mansions and factories filled with cheap laborers,
Where the dogs are well fed, cared and have a clean place,
To call it their home, but the children of our brothers,
Have waited silently for a new dawn for many years,
During the visit of our ministers, our roads are spotless,
During inspection days, everything is kept in order to impress,
During the arrival of foreign dignitaries, the dramas enacted,
To show the prosperity of the poverty stricken political ideology,
When climb down the steps of the red carpeted,
Pathway of the airplane staircases, everyone with a nose,
Can smell the decaying of the uncollected rubbish,
Few kilometers away, the sides of the modern and old roads occupied,
By the homeless, who have nothing to say it their own,
Except the poverty that is nurtured in the hearts of poverty,
Which in turn disperse the seeds of poverty everywhere,
Through dirty wind, water and land agents, here
Seven hundred million live in poverty and another three hundred,
Try to act neither as rich nor as poor, but as a middle class.

Chicago
Chicago, chicago, that toddlin town
Chicago, chicago, Ill show you around (youll stay around)
Bet your bottom dollar you lose the blues in
Chicago, chicago, the folks who visit
All wanna settle down. (all wanna settle down in my hometown)
On state street, that great street, I just wanna say,
They do things they dont do on broadway,
Youll have the time, the time of your life
Bring all your friends, all your kids and your wife to
Chicago, chicago my hometown. (hey now baby--)
(oooh baby)
Youll have the time, the time of your life
Bring all your friends, all your kids and your wife to
Chicago, chicago my hometown.
Oh, to chicago, chicago my hometown (yeah)

We Can Enjoy Your God Given Write
Writing down your thoughts cleanses the soul,
It can help lift you out of life's goldfish bowl,
Though your words can enrage they may also console,
Never give up the fight.
Life is a challenge for those given the chance,
Your own and others you must try to enhance,
By writing what you feel your spirit you'll enhance,
You will also never lose sight.
You must never be afraid of honest critique,
Though some can make your future feel bleak,
Everyone in life has their troubles to seek,
The written word can and will bite.
Who's to say any poem is better than yours,
Words from the heart are usually what lures,
Others personal opinions are not what obscures,
The writers own inner light.
Never be put off by what people may say,
Some live their lives just to cause others affray,
You will live to fight another day,
Let the fire inside you ignite.
Criticism and praise can help you to learn,
As long as you show all others concern,
Both are attributes we all have to earn,
Your writing at times will incite.
Just remember your poems can cause distress,
If done truthfully your writing you can honestly express,
Regardless of whether it causes duress,
You'll have no need to feel uptight.
The written word can and does bring us joy,
As a weapon it can also be used to destroy,
If you just try your best not to annoy,
‘' We Can Enjoy Your God Given Write ‘'
One’s potentials
Intuition springs from super consciousness.
Sixth sense is the act of consciousness.
Libido is stored in sub consciousness.
They are dormant in unconsciousness.
All the three types of consciousness are
Present in one at variant degrees.
Accordingly, potentials differ
And influence a man’s personality.

I've Never Been
I've never been a soldier or fought in a war
And though from my old Hometown I have travelled far
I have never grown wealthy and never known fame
And I feel happy that few even know me by name.
I've never been anyway useful at sport
At football or golf or on the tennis court
Some call me a loser those with words who are cruel
In the age of aggression the most aggressive rule.
Though some of the big World out there I have seen
A God fearing person I never have been
Of the one known as God only good things we hear
And if god is all good then him why should we fear?
Though I have travelled far from my old native home
I have never been to the Coliseum in Rome
Or been to the Pyramids or seen China's great Wall
In the future such memories I won't have to recall.
I have never been good at any one thing
And others my praises they never will sing
The hard roads of life I have walked up and down
And I live many miles from my northern Hometown.
