The Most Painful is Neglect
Pleasure and pain limit to sensory nerves.
Pride and disgrace get to center nerves.
Neglect and abandonment pierce to its core.
There lies hell the old must learn to live with.

Let Me Cry Alone
you must go now
i know how to suffer alone
i know how to cry
without any comfort
you must go now
do not learn this art
of genuflection
this masochism
of the painful arm
the nerves erupting
the mind exploding
again the heart
must be purified
this pain this pleasure
this measure

Presidents with strong nerves are decisive. They don't balk at unpopular decisions. They are willing to make people angry. Bush had strong nerves. Clinton, who passed up a chance to eliminate Osama bin Laden, did not. Obama is a people pleaser, a trait not normally associated with nerves of steel.

Live until your dead
The ties that bind unwinding
The future needs reminding
That differences will always be
Yet pleasure and pain are the same to me
So broken on the inside, maybe the pain is what i need
Cutting on the outside, just to make sure i still bleed
With that pain comes the pleasure, that i am still alive
With that pleasure comes the pain, that my mind now needs to thrive
You live what you learn, someone very smart once said
So find some pleasure in your pain, and live until your dead.

My nerves before a gig got worse; I had terrible bad nerves all the time. Once we started... I was fine.

The nerves are a problem on trumpet, because when you mess up everyone can hear it. Just remember most people are too polite to say anything about it. That should calm your nerves.

He who feels compelled to consider the consequences of these facts cannot but realize that the specific sensibility of nerves for certain impressions is not enough, since all nerves are sensitive to the same cause but react to the same cause in different ways.

Our success was mainly due to the fact that we stimulated the nerves of animals that easily stood on their own feet and were not subjected to any painful stimulus either during or immediately before stimulation of their nerves.

Wrapped in Trembling Skin
Wrapped in trembling skin,
my throbbing nerves
synapse
to chaos, pain, and pleasure
to permeation of
sensation.
Fear or joy
compounds
the fall of day.
Night
fills my eyes
light fails
in the lowering sky.
Clouds
pile high, tear
to tatters, shred
vapors scudding over
grey hills.
There
I see my self-
made
hell.

You Don't Have to Read This Part
i never liked
honestly enough
those fidgety leaves
those nerves
that fall short of the
translation of
the word
in my native language
yours too
but
which you must have
betrayed
for something lesser
than yourself
do not tell me more
go away
i know what nerves
are too
last night
i could not sleep
thinking that
for all those years
i wasted
myself on you
blackbird...

Pain Lies On The Riverside
I have never taken life
Yet I have often paid the price
And you, you are a victim of this age
And the guilt that hangs around your neck
Has got me locked up in a cage
Youve got to learn to live until no end
But first you must learn to swim
All over again
Because...
Pain lies on the riverside
And pain will never say goodbye
Pain lies on the riverside
So put your feet in the water
Put your head in the water
Put your soul in the water
And join me for a swim tonight
I have forever, always tried
To stay clean and constantly baptized
I am aware that the rivers banks are dry
And to wait for a flood
Is to wait for life
Ive got to learn to live until no end
But first I must learn to swim all over again
Because...
Pain lies on the riverside

Nerves
Nerves are most extraordinary,
Full of useful information,
At a moment's notice merry
With abounding cacchination,
Then with subtle transformation,
Dreary as a cemetery
Just prepared for occupation.—
Nerves are most extraordinary.

Sun...............moon................ Nor De Stars
sun...............moon................ nor de stars
He gets up at night
& chatters about the sun
He walks in the daylight
& natters about the moon
He quarrels that moon is rhomboidal
He squabbles that sun is elliptical
Puzzled and perplexed am i
Is it that I am a fool
Or is it that he is a toddler
But yet he has the nerves
The nerves to stand up and say
That its just ignorance………
Sheer ignorance from your side
Oh hell……! Oh hell……!
Why do i?
Why do I go down my kneels and say
Say I am sorry
I havnt seen the sun nor the moon nor the stars
Fool hardy am I to say
My google tells me so
But am sorry I havnt seen the real sun star nor the moon
Not that am dimwitted or imprudent
The day i tell
The day i tell that moon is not rhomboidal
Nor is the sun elliptical
I will loose my love
The only love i have! !

Spitting And The Principle Of Utilitarianism
it starts with a little agitation inside your throat
the nerves send the signal to the brain
for a clearer understanding of this tiny disturbance
reverberating this tickle
not really pain, this mass of liquids telling you
it is a saliva wanting to get out from your system
and all the nerves now keep telling you
there is no use keeping such a mass
of disturbance inside your throat
there is no need anymore
and the last thing you know
is what you did
without regret
you spit it out away from you

The Virgin Considered As A Picture
Her unawed face, whose pose so long assumed
Is touched with what reality we feel,
Bends to itself and, to itself resumed,
Restores a tender fiction to the real.
And in her artful posture movement lies
Whose timeless motion flesh must so conceal;
Yet what her pose conceals we might surmise
And might pretend to gather from her eyes
The final motion flesh gives up to art.
But slowly, if we watch her long enough,
The nerves grow subtler, and she moves apart
Into a space too dim with time and blood
For our set eyes to follow true enough,
Or nerves to guess about her, if they would.

That Anxious Feeling inside You
Do you ever get that anxious feeling in your gut?
You have a good life but it’s still there,
You don’t have everything but enough and it’s still there,
Well your uneasy nerves are playing tricks
An’ only you can make it fix, for
It isn’t going to happen, if it does so what.
Get your mind to your nerves to play tricks,
If it’s raining that’s your drinking gaining,
Laugh and love your life...that will surely fix,
Now you’s ava nice day, every day!
Then let the new you stick to the facts,
Take it easy rider and relax.

Dreams and Desires
So much has been said
So little has been said
So much remains to be said
Or does it
Which is better
To act out one's desires
Or keep them to oneself
Hidden in one's dreams
How to know
Which deisres, when acted on,
Will bring more pleasure than pain
More good than grief
How to know
Which desires should be kept
Safely tucked away
Deep inside dreams
Desires versus dreams
Dreams and/or desires
That is the challenge
To balance the two
To live in the sunshine
To limit the what ifs
To limit the regrets
To live a life one can believe in

It's Like An Impatience Waiting
The hour for the last time,
You allow someone to get on your nerves...
Approaches.
And something inside of you knows it.
It's like an impatience waiting,
To pop the cork...
On a bottle of champagne.
The hour for the last time,
You allow someone to get on your nerves...
Approaches.
And unaware is this person,
They assist in helping you to celebrate...
A time in your life,
You thought would never come!

The Limitations Of The Body...
sometimes i forget that i have a body
it is only when i eat that i remember i have one
but most of the times
i am full and so i almost forget all about this body
i am feeding it with wrong things
ideas, more ideas,
i am covering it with mysteries that it cannot relate because
a body is just a body
earthly, mundane
clay,
stick, creepy
skin, hair
sunken eyes,
trembling hands
it is flesh, bones, cartilages,
and
nerves, and when all these nerves take revenge on me
i shall finally lose this body
which i welcome somehow
because i have not experienced it yet
fully
i live in the mind,
my castle is in my imagination,
and i eat nothing for the day
but words
and i drink nothing for the day but ink
and i touch nothing for the day
but keys
the body is forgotten and so are my chains,
my prisons, my
dark rooms,
my body, this fetter,
this
ball and chain that hold me
in hunger and pain and
thirst and
constant urination,
disturbing
defecation
sometimes i like to become nothing but air
so you cannot see me anymore so i can go places and be lost forever
because i am not this body,
and i do not want to be caught in here
a little longer.
