The discomfort
Being lazy is a comfort.
No extra comfort is sought.
Being busy is a comfort.
No extra comfort is sought.
Discomfort is felt only
When the lazy one is busy
And the busy one is lazy.

Comfort You
Lot of havoc in the sea
People rushing endlessly
Sometimes I think it's just their way
Of capturing a better day
You keep rushing home baby
For your dose of reality
I'll hold out my hands to you
You do what you need to
Ohh, whoa
I will comfort you (I will comfort you)
Ohh, whoa
I will comfort you (I will comfort you)
An ocean of humanity
Some wash up along the street
It's hard to keep in stepping round
It's hard to keep that frame of mind
Trying to move with the sun
Gives the illusion that we're one
I'll be running next to you
We do what we need to
Ohh, whoa
I will comfort you (I will comfort you)
Ohh, whoa
I will comfort you (I will comfort you)
But when the moonlight washes over our bed
and the road slows
A lonely siren screeching 'round the bend
The cool air blows
Raising the hair on my skin
We come face to face
Try to let each other in
Ohh, whoa
I will comfort you (I will comfort you)
Ohh, whoa
I will comfort you (I will comfort you)
I will I will I will I will
I will I will I will I will
I will comfort you

Busy
I am busy
you are busy
we are busy
but the old woman needs help
to find her way home.
I am busy
you are busy
we are busy
but the dove is too slow
to fly out of the way.
I am busy
you are busy
we are busy
but the children crossing the street
are too many.
I am busy
you are busy
we are busy....
I am busy
you are busy
we are...
busy.

Lazy People
Lazy is as lazy does,
Which is do nothing really,
Coz Lazy is as always does,
Make us do nothing freely.
Lazy people are no crazy people.
Lazy people are truly smart people.
Fast tricks, short fix type of people.
So Lazy has it's good and bad,
Are you lazy? Ask your Dad.
We have our lazy days,
We have our lazy ways.
Do you qualify the breed?
Bring your eyes to feed,
On lazy poems, read.
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
(traditional)
God rest ye merry gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
For jesus christ our savior
Was born upon this day
To save us all from satans power
When we were gone astray
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
From God our heavenly father
A blessed angel came
When unto certain shepards
Brought tidings of the same
How that in bethlehem was born
The son of God by name
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Now to the lord sing praises
All you within this place
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace
This holy tide of christmas
All under shell replace
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy

Comfort Me
Comfort me while I'm alone.
Bring me courage that I can own.
There is no comfort while there's fear.
For fear's not gone. It's always near.
Comfort me so I may sleep.
In my slumber let me keep
dreams of peaceful times ahead,
calmness while I'm in my bed.
Comfort me, oh God of all.
Keep me still so I don't fall
into thoughts dark and bleak.
Lift my spirits while I speak
With my pen that's close to me.
Let my words be there and be
the focus of my thoughts for now.
For they're the comfort I seek, somehow.

God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman
God rest ye merry, gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember, Christ, our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
In Bethlehem, in Israel,
This blessed Babe was born
And laid within a manger
Upon this blessed morn
The which His Mother Mary
Did nothing take in scorn
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
From God our Heavenly Father
A blessed Angel came;
And unto certain Shepherds
Brought tidings of the same:
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by Name.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
"Fear not then," said the Angel,
"Let nothing you affright,
This day is born a Saviour
Of a pure Virgin bright,
To free all those who trust in Him
From Satan's power and might."
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
The shepherds at those tidings
Rejoiced much in mind,
And left their flocks a-feeding
In tempest, storm and wind:
And went to Bethlehem straightway
The Son of God to find.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
And when they came to Bethlehem
Where our dear Saviour lay,
They found Him in a manger,
Where oxen feed on hay;
His Mother Mary kneeling down,
Unto the Lord did pray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood-aca

Lazy Man's Song
I have got patronage, but am too lazy to use it;
I have got land, but am too lazy to farm it.
My house leaks; I am too lazy to mend it.
My clothes are torn; I am too lazy to darn them.
I have got wine, but am too lazy to drink;
So it's just the same as if my cellar were empty.
I have got a harp, but am too lazy to play;
So it's just the same as if it had no strings.
My wife tells me there is no more bread in the house;
I want to bake, but am too lazy to grind.
My friends and relatives write me long letters;
I should like to read them, but they're such a bother
to open.
I have always been told that Chi Shu-yeh1
Passed his whole life in absolute idleness.
But he played the harp and sometimes transmuted metals,
So even he was not so lazy as I
Egypt
Follow the nile
Deep to much deeper.
The pyramids sound lonely tonight.
The sands run red
In lands of the pharoahs.
Their symmetry gets right inside me.
I cannot stop to comfort them.
Im busy chasing up my demon.
I cannot stop to comfort them.
Im busy chasing up my demon.
Oh, Im in love
With egypt.
My pussy queen
Knows all my secrets.
Ill never fall in love again.
I drift with dunes.
I whisper of the tombs.
They offer me egyptian delights.
Shes got me with that feline guise,
Got me in those desert eyes.
Shes got me with that feline guise,
Got me in those desert eyes.
Oh Im in love
With egypt.

Child Rest Sleep Well In Your Parent's Love
My preschool daughter has come
to me with her tears and her woe;
upset and tired she will play now
in comfort beside me she will not go.
The troubles of the world hang heavy
on her heart tired she will not depart;
her mother is upset she arrives with hurt
little pride reason unimportant cause start.
Who am I her father to deny
her this place of comfort
here at my sought pillow knee.
Fast asleep now she is safe
she sleeps by my sought side
to awake hours later rested be.

Southern Comfort
(eric carmen)
Recorded by the quick
Epic 10516 / 1969
Northern lovins mean, so cold and weary
You know, I got to go down south to get love right
And the way they love down south
You know it makes my blood run hot
I need some southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
Gimme some of your southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
Well Ive had my fill of gold I trade for women
Now I need some southern hospitality
And the way they love down south,
You know it makes my blood run hot
I need some southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
Gimme some of your southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
So if you wanna keep me satisfied
You gotta give me some southern comfort tonight
Well Ive had my fill of gold I trade for women
No, I need some southern hospitality
And the way they love down south,
You know it makes my blood run hot
I need some southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
Gimme some of your southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
And the way they love down south,
You know it makes my blood run hot
Gimme some of your southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
Gimme some of your southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
Some southern comfort, hey, hey, hey
(oh, you know I want it baby)
Gimme some of your southern comfort, hey, hey, hey

Inactivity Created
Lazy.
A feast of ignorance,
Has fed them well.
Lazy.
Delusionists speak of their triumphs.
Glorify in imaginations.
Party in their sweat.
Yet few work...
To where they need to get!
Lazy.
Creatures seeking credentials.
But absent of common sense.
Lazy.
Exhausted from thoughts!
With no intent meant.
Lazy.
Approached to verify all they claim.
And when there is nothing there...
They play the blame game.
Accusing some of being 'lucky' in life...
And every excuse they use is lame.
Lazy.
They watch a way of life diminish.
Lazy.
They wish their fantasies replenished.
Lazy.
But when a working ethic isn't there to be done,
They point a finger at everyone.
And more like them are relieved...
So many like them believe,
If it had not been for someone else...
Success they too could achieve.
But those who bust their butts can see...
These folks appreciate,
Only another pretention they can make!
And taking time to waste.
But don't call them...
Lazy.
That's a word they hate!
But keep dates with it to salivate...
An inactivity created!
There is no debate,
To contemplate this observation.
They are without hesitation of doubt...
Lazy!

Lazy Lightnin
Lazy lightnin sleepy fire in your eyes its like desire in disguise
I keep on tryin but i, I cant get through
Lazy lightnin Id like to find the proper potion
Thats gonna capture your emotion
Youre right beside me but i, I cant get through
Youre a loop of lazy lightnin, just a loop of lazy lightnin
Must admit youre kinda frightnin but you really get me high
So exciting, when I hear your velvet thunder,
You seem so near I start to wonder
Would you come closer if, if I asked you to?
So inviting, the way youre messing with my reason
Its an exception but its pleasing
Tell me a lie and I will swear, Ill swear its true.
Youre a loop of lazy lightnin (lazy lightnin)
Just a loop of lazy lightnin (lazy lightnin)
Must admit youre kinda frightening
Just a loop of lazy lightnin
Put the fire in my eyes (lightnin) put the fire every time (lightnin)
Put the fire in my heart (lightnin) well come on lazy lightning.
Just a loop of lazy lightning
Misty lightning, well you always electrify me
Someday I know youll satisfy me
And all that lightnin will be my lightnin too.
My lightnin too. (my lightnin too)
Just a loop of lazy lightnin (my lightnin too)
My lightnin too. (my lightnin too)
Just a loop of lazy lightnin (my lightnin too)
My lightnin too. (my lightnin too)
Oh come on lazy lightnin (my lightnin too)

My Little Comfort
Love unlimited is what i have for you,
My Little Comfort of the human race;
Come and comfort my soul like,
A little jungle in the world.
Now that i have found you,
You are all that i need;
Come to me without your shyness and,
Be my sweet lover on this love.
Your love is driving me crazy and,
My mind is always on you;
My Little Comfort come to me:
You are from the Benue State of Nigeria and,
I will always remember you.
Overcome your shyness and come to me,
Hold me very tight for the sweet love unlimited!
You are called Comfort and,
You need to comfort my soul.
This is the jungle where love is,
To share our nakedness together in style;
So overcome your shyness and come to me.
My Little Comfort from Benue State,
Come to me with your sweet love;
Come and comfort my soul.

The Comfort Zone
Where do we go
When theres a need to be loved
Like you need to be loved
Oh, Ill let you know
Just what to do and where to go
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
After a hard days work
Theres one thing to be certain of
This ol familiar love
Its not unusual to find that its sensual
Its all you need to let go
Theres no need to try
Or compromise
Or settle for another outside of my love
The thing to do
When you get through
Heed the message seek the comfort of my zone
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
Hey let me make you comfortable
Let me take control
And give your mind a break from the day you made
Lets turn the lights down low
And oh the rest you know
Ill be here for you
cause you just stepped into the comfort zone
