Child Rest Sleep Well In Your Parent's Love
My preschool daughter has come
to me with her tears and her woe;
upset and tired she will play now
in comfort beside me she will not go.
The troubles of the world hang heavy
on her heart tired she will not depart;
her mother is upset she arrives with hurt
little pride reason unimportant cause start.
Who am I her father to deny
her this place of comfort
here at my sought pillow knee.
Fast asleep now she is safe
she sleeps by my sought side
to awake hours later rested be.

Dream Killer
So Ive seen my future
And Ive seen dream killers
And Ive seen you everytime.
So Ive heard opinions
And Ive heard dark rumours
And Ive heard you everytime.
You hurt my feelings
You hurt my family
You hurt my reasons to try
I cant forgive you
I will remember
Ill pay you back one cold day.
So Ive seen my weakness
And Ive seen my heart break
And Ive seen you everytime.
So Ive heard promises
And Ive heard every lie
And Ive heard you everytime.
You lied to father
You lied to mother
You lied to brother and me
I used to dream, now
I forget how to
So should I learn how to lie?
You take my picture
You take my ghosts and laugh
You take my reason
You take my soul away.
You take my heartbeat
You take my innocence
You take my dreams and
Youll take my life away.
So now Im old news
And you would change me
But Im so tired of this
There is no comfort
In fame when it dies
And Im so tired of it.

What Would You Do?
Walking past u in the hall, my heart beats fast
Catching your eye, my heart stops
Seeing you flirt with another, my heart cries
Seeing u smile at me, Time moves slow
Thinking about us, I want it to be true
If I do date u, would u hurt me
If I'm upset, would u comfort me
If I was sad, could u make my day better
If u saw me in the rain, would u kiss me
If we were to fall asleep in the same bed, would u hold me close in your arms
Will u stay long enough with me, to say the words I've been wanting to hear from u
Would u say, I love u?

Im so sick and tired...
im so sick and tired of all this s***
of crying and people throwing a fit
Im so sick and tired of all this bleeding
of cutting and people not caring
im so sick and tired of drama
of the gov't and obama
im so sick and tired of tears
of crying and stupid a** peers
im so sick and tired of boys
of them treating girls like useless toys
im so sick and tired of ryhming

im so sick and tired of being told what to do
im so sick and tired of being so sick and tired

I'm So Tired
i'm so tired (lennon/mccartney)
I'm so tired, i haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder should i get up and fix myself a drink
No,no,no.
I'm so tired i don't know what to do
I'm so tired my mind is set on you
I wonder should i call you but i know what you'd do
You'd say i'm putting you on
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm
You know i can't sleep, i can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, i'm going insane
You know i'd give you everything i've got
For a little peace of mind
I'm so tired, i'm feeling so upset
Although i'm so tired i'll have another cigarette
And curse sir walter raleigh
He was such a stupid git.

Three a.m. in the morning
And your day seems so long
You lay awake in your bed and sigh
Wishing a father could fill your home
And as the tears roll down your face
Soak your pillow you stop and say
Oh mama dont you worry
Things are going to be ok
Though we never had much and we always fussed
Constantly knew that you were there
To bring us back together and to show
How much you cared, you were always there
You were there for me mama cant you see
I will always be your little baby
You took up for me gave me things I need
Singing la la la la
Good times went so fast though they didnt last
I will always be filled with your memory,
Oh mama
Ill always be your jamie lee
When you cry, I cry too
When you hurt, I hurt with you
So, dry up those tears, Ill always be here
To comfort and care for you
Though we never see each other much
In my heart is where youll stay, so mama
Dont you worry, things arent always gonna
Be this way
You were there for me mama cant you see
I will always be your little baby
You took up for me gave me things I need
Singing la la la la
Good times went so fast though they didnt last
I will always be filled with your memory,
Oh mama
Ill always be your jamie lee
Even though were far apart, you still warm
A place in my heart, all alone, dont know
What to do, just dont say goodbye, just say I miss you

God Is...My Audience
God is...my audience!
If my Father is pleased...
No applause do I need,
He has a way to make that known!
I am shown.
And this alone excites me.
I do not seek any other approval.
Or standing ovations.
With looks of adulation sought.
To appease an ego I need to feed.
My mind is satisfied,
When 'something' inside...
Let's me know,
My Father is right there...
By my side.
And 'if' my Father should get upset...
He does not stop loving me.
Or burden me with regrets.
And teased I am not,
By what is outside of me!
My identity I do not hide.
There is a pride God helps me grow!
If God accepts...
I can endure the dejection that may stun some.
And any rejection directed towards me,
I will take and overcome.
God is...my audience!
And I am very thankful,
He has allowed my performance!
For what it is that is done in His honor!

Hmph...People
Leave me alone.
'Okay,
I will.'
I'm not talking to you.
'I see.
Then...
Who ARE you talking to? '
No one in particular.
It has been a while since I've said it.
And it is refreshing to know,
You weren't offended at all.
I remember the days,
My saying that would upset you.
'Why should I feel offended?
Or upset.
I was hoping you weren't going to ask me,
Where I am going? '
What?
Where are you going?
'That's none of your business.
And I'm hoping that doesn't offend.
Now you can practice not getting upset.'
Upset?
Why should I get upset?
You're trying to get me upset.
And I'm not a child.
You can do whatever you want.
Who cares?
I don't.
Upset?
Why should I get upset?
You're trying to get me upset.
You can do whatever you want.
Who cares?
I don't.
And what are you laughing about?
'I was only teasing.
I'm not going anywhere.'
Oh yes you are!
You're going to leave me alone.
'Okay,
I will.'
People!
They will do anything to get on your nerves.
Upset?
As if I was that easily provoked!
Hmph...people!
'I heard that.'
Who cares!

The discomfort
Being lazy is a comfort.
No extra comfort is sought.
Being busy is a comfort.
No extra comfort is sought.
Discomfort is felt only
When the lazy one is busy
And the busy one is lazy.

Sleep if you're tired
Sleep lil one.
Sleep your troubles away.
Quietly lay down, under your warm blanket,
Close your pretty brown eyes,
and rest your head on your pillow.
When you're tired,
just go to sleep.
Sleep like a temporary death,
if you have a dream, you're in heaven.
If you have a nightmare, you're in hell.
Let the moon and stars shine,
shine on you.
Let the moon give you comfort,
and let the stars guide you.
Just remember,
Sleep if you're tired.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
(traditional)
God rest ye merry gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
For jesus christ our savior
Was born upon this day
To save us all from satans power
When we were gone astray
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
From God our heavenly father
A blessed angel came
When unto certain shepards
Brought tidings of the same
How that in bethlehem was born
The son of God by name
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Now to the lord sing praises
All you within this place
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace
This holy tide of christmas
All under shell replace
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy

God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman
God rest ye merry, gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember, Christ, our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
In Bethlehem, in Israel,
This blessed Babe was born
And laid within a manger
Upon this blessed morn
The which His Mother Mary
Did nothing take in scorn
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
From God our Heavenly Father
A blessed Angel came;
And unto certain Shepherds
Brought tidings of the same:
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by Name.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
"Fear not then," said the Angel,
"Let nothing you affright,
This day is born a Saviour
Of a pure Virgin bright,
To free all those who trust in Him
From Satan's power and might."
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
The shepherds at those tidings
Rejoiced much in mind,
And left their flocks a-feeding
In tempest, storm and wind:
And went to Bethlehem straightway
The Son of God to find.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
And when they came to Bethlehem
Where our dear Saviour lay,
They found Him in a manger,
Where oxen feed on hay;
His Mother Mary kneeling down,
Unto the Lord did pray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood-aca

Pass It Around
I wish I had a place to stay in l.a. for a week or so.
I feel like bein jive, hangin out, maybe go to mexico.
cause dreamin, baby, thats the way I wanna be.
Just wanna sit in a tree, sail out to sea, live like some fantasy, ahh baby.
cause Im tired of thinkin, and too much drinkin, all my troubles away.
Tired of goin to get layed at the lost and found.
Tired of dealin with love hurt feelings, and all I got to say,
In view of all thats been goin down,
I think Ill go on out and pass it around.
I wonder why Im doin, what Ive been doin for a while.
Cant say its the money, no, so maybe its the style.
cause dreamin, baby, thats the way that I like it.
Just wanna get on a plane, go some place insane, throw myself one real good fit.
cause Im tired of thinkin, and too much drinkin, all my troubles away.
Tired of goin to get layed at the lost and found.
Tired of dealin with love hurt feelings, and all I got to say,
In view of all thats been goin down,
I think Ill go on out and pass it around.
I think Ill go on out and pass it around.
Listen to me baby.
Pass it around.
I think Ill go on out and pass it around.
I want to pass it around.
I want to get on out and pass it around.
I want to pass it around.
cause Im tired of thinkin, and too much drinkin, all my troubles away.
I want to pass it around.
Tired of goin to get layed at the lost and found.
I think Ill go on out and pass it around.

A Depressed Mind
Once again I've became afraid
Afraid of all what lays ahead
I know it's foolish to not seek comfort
But it's unimportant for the tears I shed
For my troubles are petty compared to others
Theirs are important than mine so small
My own fault for sinking into this depression
Does it really matter how far I fall?
Despite my melancholy mood, I do try to smile
To keep others from worring when they see
For I know they won't know how to help
So why worry about little ol' me?
You see I'm not truly in any danger
There is no reason for a shoulder to weep
I'm just a scared, pathetic little girl
Who's dug a hole, curled up inside asleep
Despite the dark, it's safe in this hole of mine
A barrior that keeps everything blocked out
Feeling numb is only a price for fear to be dorment
So I have no reason to yell or even shout
It's not the best reaction to have
But I really don't know what else to do
Either retreat into my hole or wallow in misery
Does it really matter what I choose?
Depression is still going to take ahold
And the fear is always going to stay
What's the point in stopping the cries?
In the end, I'm still pathetic anyway

Sick And Tired
Im sick of pretending its all perfect
Tired of living a lie
Sick of loving you
Tired of the tears I cry
Im sick of giving you my love
Tired of getting nothing in return
Sick of all your other girls
Tired of being unable to learn
Im sick of running back to you
Tired of returning hurt
Sick of been laughed about
Tired of being treated like dirt
Im sick of living this life
Tired of being blue
Sick of thoughts about giving up
Tired of the stupid things I do
Im so sick of it all
So sick Im going do it
So tired of been stuck in the middle
So tired Im going to quit
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
Remember Christ our Savior

Loving This Way
(collin raye & bobbie eakes)
(allison mellon/gene lesage)
Im tired of watching me hurt you
Im tired of being the teardrops on your face
Im tired of loving this way
Im tired of loving this way
I know your every weakness
I can find one in everything you say
Im tired of loving this way
Im tired of loving this way
Im not the one that you really need
Im not the one in your dreams
I can see it in your eyes
This aint the way it should feel
I dont know how we got here
Loves no longer blind
If thats just how it is
Can we go on like this
Oh, baby what do you say
Im tired of loving this way
Im tired of loving this way
Ill set your heart free
And if youre mine
Youll come flying back some day
But Im tired of loving this way
Im tired of loving this way
Well Im taking you with me
Like a room in my heart
You will have your place
Im tired of loving this way
Im tired of loving this way
Im not the one that you really need
Im not the one in your dreams
I can see it in your eyes
This aint the way it should feel
I dont know how we got here
Loves no longer blind
If thats just how it is
Can we go on like this
Oh, baby what do you say
Im tired of loving this way
Im tired of loving this way

Darkness Came
Darkness came and I felt the comfort
that surrounded me.
For all that's seen in the wake of day
is as troubling as a stormy sea
that breaks on shore with violence
and is hard to tame.
Daytime scenes with acts unkind
are what I have to blame.
I try not to be troubled as I look around
but compassion fills my heart
for all the struggling lives I see
whose troubles never depart.
But truth be told, troubles will leave
and others shall take up the plight.
And I'll still be wishing for darkness
and comfort in the night.

Autopilot
I can sleep, but I won't rest
I'll try to rest, but I'll only sleep
My dreams were once my escape
My nights held my happy days
Awake, I was depresed
Alseep, I had energy
I'd cry myself to sleep
Then I'd cry no more
Spreading my wings
I'd laugh under night's sun
Flying around the world
I'd make a hundred friends
Throwing fire and ice
I'd defeat all my enemies
Then I would wake up
And happiness fled
Walking through autopilot
In a world that wasn't real
Looking but never seeing
I'd cry under day's moon
Existing but never living
I'd avoid everyone
Closing my eyes
I'd hide from any enemies
I once rested
In the chaos of my dreams
The loud sleeping happiness
Was better than the quiet waking sadness
But things have changed
In a moment, a lifetime
Awake, I am content
Asleep, I am upset
If I sleep, I dream
When I dream, I fear
Running in terror
Crying in death
I see faces unkown
And know pain unfelt
I once looked for sleep to find rest
Now I avoid sleep so not to lose rest
My heaven became my hell
My hallucination became my shelter
I do not sleep, I do not rest
Tired, but I am happy
A new kind of autopilot
Which existance is worse?
Awake, I fear sleep coming
Asleep, I cannot wake
Never resting, only existing
Life on autopilot

The Maid Of Ocram, Or, Lord Gregory
Gay was the Maid of Ocram
As lady eer might be
Ere she did venture past a maid
To love Lord Gregory.
Fair was the Maid of Ocram
And shining like the sun
Ere her bower key was turned on two
Where bride bed lay for none.
And late at night she sought her love--
The snow slept on her skin--
Get up, she cried, thou false young man,
And let thy true love in.
And fain would he have loosed the key
All for his true love's sake,
But Lord Gregory then was fast asleep,
His mother wide awake.
And up she threw the window sash,
And out her head put she:
And who is that which knocks so late
And taunts so loud to me?
It is the Maid of Ocram,
Your own heart's next akin;
For so you've sworn, Lord Gregory,
To come and let me in.
O pause not thus, you know me well,
Haste down my way to win.
The wind disturbs my yellow locks,
The snow sleeps on my skin.--
If you be the Maid of Ocram,
As much I doubt you be,
Then tell me of three tokens
That passed with you and me.--
O talk not now of tokens
Which you do wish to break;
Chilled are those lips you've kissed so warm,
And all too numbed to speak.
You know when in my father's bower
You left your cloak for mine,
Though yours was nought but silver twist
And mine the golden twine.--
If you're the lass of Ocram,
As I take you not to be,
The second token you must tell
Which past with you and me.--
O know you not, O know you not
Twas in my father's park,
You led me out a mile too far
And courted in the dark?
When you did change your ring for mine
My yielding heart to win,
Though mine was of the beaten gold
Yours but of burnished tin,
Though mine was all true love without,
Yours but false love within?
O ask me no more tokens
For fast the snow doth fall.
Tis sad to strive and speak in vain,
You mean to break them all.--
If you are the Maid of Ocram,
As I take you not to be,
You must mention the third token
That passed with you and me.--
Twas when you stole my maidenhead;
That grieves me worst of all.--
Begone, you lying creature, then
This instant from my hall,
Or you and your vile baby
Shall in the deep sea fall;
For I have none on earth as yet
That may me father call.--
O must none close my dying feet,
And must none close my hands,
And may none bind my yellow locks
As death for all demands?
You need not use no force at all,
Your hard heart breaks the vow;
You've had your wish against my will
And you shall have it now.
And must none close my dying feet,
And must none close my hands,
And will none do the last kind deeds
That death for all demands?--
Your sister, she may close your feet,
Your brother close your hands,
Your mother, she may wrap your waist
In death's fit wedding bands;
Your father, he may tie your locks
And lay you in the sands.--
My sister, she will weep in vain,
My brother ride and run,
My mother, she will break her heart;
And ere the rising sun
My father will be looking out--
But find me they will none.
I go to lay my woes to rest,
None shall know where I'm gone.
God must be friend and father both,
Lord Gregory will be none.--
Lord Gregory started up from sleep
And thought he heard a voice
That screamed full dreadful in his ear,
And once and twice and thrice.
Lord Gregory to his mother called:
O mother dear, said he,
I've dreamt the Maid of Ocram
Was floating on the sea.
Lie still, my son, the mother said,
Tis but a little space
And half an hour has scarcely passed
Since she did pass this place.--
O cruel, cruel mother,
When she did pass so nigh
How could you let me sleep so sound
Or let her wander bye?
Now if she's lost my heart must break--
I'll seek her till I die.
He sought her east, he sought her west,
He sought through park and plain;
He sought her where she might have been
But found her not again.
I cannot curse thee, mother,
Though thine's the blame, said he
I cannot curse thee, mother,
Though thou'st done worse to me.
Yet do I curse thy pride that aye
So tauntingly aspires;
For my love was a gay knight's heir,
And my father was a squire's.
And I will sell my park and hall;
And if ye wed again
Ye shall not wed for titles twice
That made ye once so vain.
So if ye will wed, wed for love,
As I was fain to do;
Ye've gave to me a broken heart,
And I'll give nought to you.
Your pride has wronged your own heart's blood;
For she was mine by grace,
And now my lady love is gone
None else shall take her place.
I'll sell my park and sell my hall
And sink my titles too.
Your pride's done wrong enough as now
To leave it more to do.
She owneth none that owned them all
And would have graced them well;
None else shall take the right she missed
Nor in my bosom dwell.--
And then he took and burnt his will
Before his mother's face,
And tore his patents all in two,
While tears fell down apace--
But in his mother's haughty look
Ye nought but frowns might trace.
And then he sat him down to grieve,
But could not sit for pain.
And then he laid him on the bed
And ne'er got up again.
